Michigan Minister Opens Tattoo Parlor in His Church

A Michigan pastor who says he's doing everything he can to reach out to people who don't feel comfortable at a traditional house of worship has opened a tattoo parlor inside his church.

Rev. Steve Bentley of The Bridge, a church located inside a Flint Township shopping center, said his ministry is built on the belief that mainstream religion has become ineffective and irrelevant to most people. To that end, he opened Serenity Tattoo.

Tattoo artists Ryan Brown and Drew Blaisdell work by appointment or from noon until 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday, at the county-licensed tattoo shop that sits not far from Bentley's office as well as the watering trough that he uses for baptisms.

Bentley, who has two tattoos, said he understands some don't like the idea of Serenity Tattoo inside the church, but the pastor considers tattooing a "morally neutral" practice that he likens to getting one's ears pierced.

"We are about doing church in a different way and being relevant to people," Bentley told The Flint Journal. "You can get a tattoo in a clean environment. You can do it while still sticking to your moral code."

Brown is a recovering alcoholic who said the atmosphere inside the church building has helped to keep him focused and on the right path.

"I was running my own studio. I was just working. There wasn't much purpose in it," he said. "I was struggling with whether I could keep my studio" and stay sober.

"I prayed a lot and decided the best thing was to close it and come to the church. I figured I could have a lot more positive impact" here, Brown said.

The church owns 30,000 square feet inside the Flint-area shopping center.

Bentley said about 1,000 people call The Bridge their home church, and up to 500 in total attend his three weekend services.

The pastor makes an effort to talk to all who visit Serenity Tattoo, he said, although not all end up checking out the church.

Why stop there, heck he should open a bordello also.

Justin Bieber Adds Jesus Tattoo to His Growing Collection

no surprise there.

Quote
The Hebrew tattoo reads, "Yeshua," which is Hebrew for Jesus. He got the ink at the same time as his father while in Israel.

However, many are applauding the singer's willingness to display and openly talk about his faith in Christ to whoever is willing to listen.

Emergent Church Members Get Tattoos of Jesus' Death for Lent

While many churches do different things to observe the season of Lent, one pastor at a Texas church is encouraging something very different: permanent tattoos.

Chris Seay, a pastor at the Ecclesia Church in Houston, Texas, called on members to get permanent tattoos that would depict designs symbolizing the crucifixion and death of Jesus. The tattoos by church members will collective be part of an art exhibit for Lent, Stations on Skin.

"This art show is something we do every year to share the story of Jesus with our city," said Seay in an interview with The Christian Post.

"This year we wanted to engage an art form that has not been embraced by the church but it is common among people in our part of the city. Next year it will be a different art form, maybe crochet."

The Dark Side of Tattoos

Today it's fashionable to get as much permanent ink on your skin as possible. Is this a healthy trend?

I had never given the subject of tattoos much thought other than occasionally to regret getting mine—until my wife, Janet, and I were ministering in New Zealand in 2003. New Zealand was settled more than 1,000 years ago by a primitive Polynesian people called the Maori. They were headhunters and cannibals who worshiped demon gods. The Maori tattoo most of their bodies, including their faces, which they carve flesh from as a wood carver would etch wood to create a design. Then they apply ink.

On a day off we went sightseeing with a local pastor. He took us to a Maori village. Inside the entrance of the village was a meeting house, and above the entrance was a statue of a demon, the face of which was carved with the same pattern as the men’s faces. I immediately came to the realization that these people had carved their faces to look like the deity they worshiped.

The Lord spoke very clearly to me to study every people group, not just the Maori, and then write a book. As a result, I spent nearly two years researching the origins and history of tattoos and piercing. I studied Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, Europeans, Mid-Easterners, Asians and Africans in my research.

The Hidden Risks of Getting a Tattoo

8/24/12

http://news.yahoo.com/hidden-risks-getting-tattoo-113631936.html

When a cluster of skin infections in upstate New York last fall led back to one tattoo artist, local public health officials took the usual step of investigating the artist's hygiene practices. They found that all of his equipment and methods were sanitary, but the nationally distributed ink he had been using, even in unopened bottles, wasn't.

Soon, similar investigations in Colorado, Washington and Iowa turned up harmful strains of bacteria in three other brands of ink. At least 22 skin infections across the four states were linked to contaminated ink, according to research reported Wednesday (Aug. 22) in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The offending pathogen in the New York outbreak was identified as Mycobacterium chelonae, a relative of the bacteria behind tuberculosis and leprosy that is commonly found in tap water. Though M. chelonae is usually harmless to people with normal immune systems, when it's escorted beneath the skin by a tattoo needle, it can cause a painful rash that can last for months, requiring strong antibiotic regimens and sometimes surgery to eradicate.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), past tattoo-related Mycobacterium infections likely arose from the use of unsterile water as a diluting agent in ink. And because the ink that caused the New York outbreak was "gray wash," pre-diluted black ink used for shading, the CDC has speculated that its manufacturer may not have been using sterile water.

So should Americans, one of five of whom now reportedly sport indelible ink, be afraid to get a new tat? Is there any way to be sure that a given manufacturer's tattoo ink is sterile?

The answer to the second question is a definite no. Currently, there is no FDA regulation requiring that tattoo inks be sterile, so a consumer only has a company's or an artist's assurance to go on. It is also worth noting that although a number of the color pigments used in tattoo ink have been approved by the FDA for use in cosmetics, not a single one has ever been approved for injection into the skin. [Are Tattoos Risky?]

Because reporting is voluntary, there is not good data on how often tattoo-related skin infections occur, but if one decides to play the odds and join the millions of Americans who are already inked, there are a few precautionary steps that he or she can take to decrease the chances of an infection.

Along with watch-dogging artists during tattooings to ensure that they use sterile water for dilution and cleaning, the CDC recommends that a consumer only use tattoo parlors registered by local jurisdictions and request inks that are manufactured specifically for tattoos. If an infection does occur, the CDC advises seeking medical advice and notifying the tattoo artist as well as the FDA's Medwatch program.

Read the bolded print below...

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/this-could-be-big-abc-news/underground-world-human-cyborgs-171633067.html

The Underground World of Human Cyborgs

There is a growing subculture of do-it-yourself cyborgs who want to push the limits of human potential by implanting technology into their bodies, expanding their senses and ability to interact with the world.

While writing an article on a group of biohackers in Pittsburgh, writer Ben Popper from the technology website theverge.com became one himself.

He joined us this week to share his story and demonstrate the wafer sized magnet he had implanted in his ring finger, which he describes as the "training wheels" of biohacking.

Most biohackers, like the ones Mr. Popper met, operate underground and away from medical regulation. Rare earth metals are implanted with scalpels in tattoo parlors instead of hospitals, and without anesthesia. Once implanted, the biohackers can sense electromagnetic fields, giving them a 6th sense to feel the world around them. His wife has a simpler version of this implant, which allows the two of them to feel the sensation of someone shaking her hand while separated by continents.

But the practical implications of biohacking go beyond feeling electromagnetic fields. Prof. Kevin Warwick from the University of Reading in the U.K. has been researching cybernetics for years. He himself has cybernetics implanted in his arm, which give him the ability to manipulate a robotic hand to move as his human hand moves.

Warwick's research could have huge implications for the disabled, potentially providing amputees and people without use of their limbs full range of motion.

Outside of the research of scientists like Warwick, biohacking remains an unregulated and fringe field of study. However, Mr. Popper believes that implanted technology is going to be mainstream sooner than we all may think, which is why biohackers like the ones he met in Pittsburgh want to have a little fun with it before it's highly regulated and dominated by large companies.

Tattoo removal becomes big business

9/18/12

The soaring popularity of tattoos in recent years is creating a booming business for those who remove unwanted ink.

Model Jenna Talackova, who competed in the Miss Universe Canada competition, uses heavy makeup to cover a large dragon tattoo on her back during pageants.

"I was 16 and just thought I needed this big tattoo on my back and I didn’t."

Talackova is currently undergoing laser treatment to remove the tattoo.

"It’s extremely painful. I love modelling and I love doing runway and I can’t have a honking tattoo on my back so I have to get it removed," she said.

"It feels like a hundred elastics hitting you at once."

In Canada, around eight percent of high school students have at least one tattoo, and among those don't yet have one, 21 percent are eager to get one.

That boom means big business for the companies that remove those tattoos down the line.

Nurse Stephanie Graham, who removes tattoos at Unwanted Ink in Surrey, B.C., says most of her patients are people who regret the tattoos they got in their teens.

Graham recently worked on removing a tattoo on a 15-year-old girl.

"She sobbed the whole time," Graham said. "This young girl was going to a private school and they were going to expel her because she had a tattoo on the back of her neck."

Graham said many customers also come to her seeking to remove the evidence of failed romances.

"It’s amazing how many people come in with names and they’re no longer together or it’s the ring finger with the name of the boyfriend who is no longer."

Some customers at Unwanted Ink also come in looking to get controversial tattoos like Nazi symbols or gang insignia removed.

"We’ve had teardrops on the face, which are usually signs of gang relations or that sort of thing, that sort of lifestyle," said Unwanted Ink’s Jason Lee.

"We’ve had personally controversial tattoos where people have written 'F Off' on their stomachs."

Because tattoo artists are not certified, Lee says customers also come in with mistakes that are hard to fix.

"I've seen a lot of mistakes just in lettering, spelling, grammatical errors," he said.

"Also some artists put too much ink in the skin, which causes raised skin so you end up with scarification after the tattoo. I’ve seen many different examples of tattoos gone wrong."

People Are Undergoing Extreme Body Modifications In Order To Look More Like The Devil?

When does body modification go too far?  In recent years, the popularity of tattoos and body piercings has soared, but now there are thousands of people around the globe that are taking body modification to ridiculous extremes.  For example, would you be willing to have your tongue split in two so that you could have a forked tongue?  What about getting eyeball tattoos or having titanium horns implanted in your head?  To most people, doing such things would be unimaginable, but there is a growing subculture of individuals out there that truly seem to enjoy “pushing the envelope” and seeing what is possible.  Some of them want to look like cats, some want to look like vampires, others want to look like aliens and some even want to look like the devil.  Yes, you read that correctly.  You are about to read about one man that is purposely modifying his body so that he will look as much like the devil as possible.  In fact, he even plans to add a tail someday.

If these were just isolated incidents, it probably would not be that big of a deal.  But as CNN recently reported, there are now thousands of people that have embraced “extreme body modification” as a lifestyle and the movement is growing rapidly.  In fact, CNN says that there is one website alone that has 3 million photos of extreme body modification…

Horns. Forked tongues. Elf ears. Whiskers.

No, these aren’t features from the latest fantasy film. Today, thousands of people are getting their bodies modified in all sorts of bizarre and unusual ways. Tattoos are just the tip of the iceberg for people interested in body modification, referred to as “body mutilation” by detractors.

People called “body modification artists” perform these unconventional surgical procedures, typically on young clients. These treatments range from the simple, such as implanting metal bolts on a person’s neck, to the extreme, such as creating ridges under a person’s skin in order to make him look like a human lizard.

So precisely what does this say about the current state of our society?

That is a very good question.

Often, the way that people express themselves outwardly is a reflection of who they really are on the inside.

In the case of a 43-year-old man from the UK named “Diablo Delenfer”, his stated goal is to look as much like the devil as possible…

Among the operations that Diablo Delenfer – real name Gavin Paslow – has so far endured are having his tongue sliced in two to fork it, sub-dermal implants to create a set of horns and an eyeball tattoo that has turned the whites of his eyes bright red.

But despite the pain, the 43-year-old insists he has no plans to stop. ‘I describe myself as a body modification artist,’ he explains.

‘I am a human curiosity but body modification is my life’s journey. It’s a little bit weird, a little bit eccentric but that’s what I am.’

A “little bit weird”?

As you can see from the video posted below, he definitely looks more than a “little bit weird”…

But he is actually far from the most extreme case of body modification out there.

To me, a 35-year-old attorney from Mexico named Maria Cristerna takes the cake.

She has tattoos and piercings over 98 percent of her body and she is known as “the Vampire Lady”.  When people see her coming, many of them cross over to the other side of the street because she literally looks like a monster…

No-one dares to cross Maria Cristerna, dubbed The Vampire Lady.

The 35-year-old who grew up in a deeply religious family is covered head-to-toe in tattoos, had dental work so she appeares to have fangs and has even had titanium horns inserted into her head.

People used to walk on the other side of the road when they saw her coming.

The following video contains a news report about her.  It attempts to portray her as a “normal mother”…

I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember any mothers running around like that when I was growing up.

But you know what?  The Vampire Lady has become a mini-celebrity in recent years and she has traveled to events all over the world.

Our society is really starting to embrace this sort of thing.  And body modifications are not always just for cosmetic purposes.  For example, I wrote about the growing popularity of RFID microchip implants among young people the other day.  As time passes, it is going to become increasingly “cool” and “trendy” for young people to “enhance themselves” with various forms of technology.

As this trend grows, what will our society look like in a few years?

Personally, I don’t want anything to do with extreme body modifications, microchip implants or any other sort of “enhancements”.

What about you?

What do you think about these things?

Please feel free to share your opinion by posting a comment below…

And here's an even bigger problem - Satan masquerades himself as an angel of light, not as the world has portrayed him for many, many, many years.

Yep, that I believe is part of the illusion, to make people think one thing when reality is another, and the world knows that carnal man looks on the outward appearances and judges based on what they perceive. So the world simply projects the images based on the agenda.

Drunk 5th-graders and Tattooed 12-year-olds: Meet the Contenders for Worst Parents of the Year
By Newser | Parenting – Thu, Jun 19, 2014 12:21 PM EDT

(Newser) - Two police reports illustrate what results when adult supervision is a little shaky: drunk fifth-graders and tattooed 12-year-olds.

The first case is from Rhode Island, where three 10- and 11-year-old girls ended up drunk and in the hospital, reports AP. They were hanging out at the home of one of the girls under the supervision of parent Christina White, who admits to NBC 10 that she was "quite drunk" herself. White swears she didn't give the girls booze, but they tell a different story, and she has been charged with multiple counts of procuring alcohol for a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The night came to an end when the older sister of one of the girls drove over to pick her up about 9:30pm and discovered that all three were stumbling and slurring. The parents of one say she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.084.

The second case involving the tattoo is from Pennsylvania. As the Titusville Herald reports, a 12-year-old girl spent the night at a friend's under the watch of Randall Charlton, 33, and Melissa Becker, 30. The girl looked on as Charlton gave Becker a tattoo with a kit, and asked for a small one of own. She said her mom would be fine with it, and thus ended up with a smiley face on her arm, adorned with the word "b!tch." As it turns out, mom wasn't fine with it, and Charlton and Becker face a slew of charges including endangering the welfare of a child. (In Britain, meanwhile, two parents were arrested over their child's hefty weight.)

Would you like to have a picture of a 3D demon exploding out of your chest?  Would you like to make it look like an exquisite piece of art was carved out of your right leg?  Would you like to see the shock on people’s faces when they think that a real scorpion is sitting on your shoulder or a real snake is crawling down your back?  In recent years, more Americans have been getting tattoos than ever before, but now a new body art trend is spreading across America like wildfire.  3D tattoos can be far more realistic than conventional tattoos, and many are choosing them for their pure shock value.  But how will all of these young people feel about their weird tattoos a decade or two from now?  And what does all of this bizarre body art say about our society?  Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Below are photos of 3D tattoos that I found on Facebook and Pinterest.  At first glance, it is hard to believe that some of these are actually tattoos…

What you just saw are examples of what I thought that I could safely share.

There are a lot of other photos that were so demonic or so risque that I felt that I just couldn’t share them.

These 3D tattoos are part of a much larger trend known as “extreme body modification”.  In this day and age, there seems to be a constant desire to “push the envelope” in the body art community.  And what some people have chosen to do to themselves in the name of “art” is truly, truly bizarre.  The following is a short excerpt from my previous article entitled “People Are Undergoing Extreme Body Modifications In Order To Look More Like The Devil?“…

You can check out the rest of that article right here.

I have a feeling that most of these people that are mutilating themselves will end up deeply regretting it.

After all, the truth is that most forms of extreme body modification are not going to help you get a job or find a spouse.

FDA warns that tattoo inks can cause infections

WASHINGTON (AP) — Thinking about getting inked? Check the bottle first.

The Food and Drug Administration is warning tattoo parlors, their customers and those buying at-home tattoo kits that not all tattoo ink is safe.

Last month, California company White and Blue Lion Inc. recalled inks in in-home tattoo kits after testing confirmed bacterial contamination in unopened bottles.

At least one skin infection has been linked to the company's products, and FDA officials say they are aware of other reports of infections linked to tattoo inks with similar packaging.

Infections from tattooing are nothing new. Hepatitis, staph infections and even the superbug known as MRSA have been tied to tattoos. Dirty needles and unsanitary environments are often to blame.

But people getting tattoos can get infections in the skin even in the cleanest conditions. The ink can carry bacteria that can spread through the bloodstream — a process known as sepsis. Symptoms are fever, shaking chills and sweats, and the risk is particularly high for anyone with pre-existing heart or circulatory conditions. Less severe infections may involve bumps on the skin, discharge, redness, swelling, blisters or excessive pain at the site.

And you may not be out of the woods for a while: The FDA says it has received reports of bad reactions to tattoo ink years later as well as right after tattooing.

The FDA says it is concerned that consumers and tattoo artists may have some of the contaminated products from the July recall. White and Blue Lion may have just been one distributor.

Some of the recalled bottles are labeled with a multicolored Chinese dragon image and black-and-white lettering, while some are missing manufacturer information. In general, the FDA says those looking to get tattoos should always ensure that the ink has a brand name and a location of the business that manufactured it.

"What the consumer can do is talk to the tattoo artist and see the ink bottles," said Linda Katz, director of the FDA's Office of Cosmetics and Colors.

Katz also encouraged people with symptoms to report their reaction to the FDA.

This isn't the first outbreak linked to tattoo ink. Reports of infections have increased as tattoos have become more popular in the last decade.

Three years ago, 19 people in Rochester, New York, ended up with bubbly rashes on their new tattoos that were linked to contaminated water used to dilute the ink.

Permanent tattoos aren't the only tattoos that carry risk. An FDA alert earlier this year warned that temporary tattoos popular with kids and often found at beaches, boardwalks and other holiday destinations can also be dangerous. The main risk is from black henna, an ink that is combined with natural red henna and can include chemicals that can cause dangerous skin reactions.

In that notice to the public, the FDA said regulation differs from state to state and can be lax in some places.

"Depending on where you are, it's possible no one is checking to make sure the artist is following safe practices or even knows what may be harmful to consumers," the alert reads.

This happened 2 years ago when a Mitt Romney supporter put one on his face(only to regret it later).

Cowboys fan gets 'World Champs 2015' tattoo on arm
8/14/14

Following in the footsteps of this dope, this fella, this Kentucky fan who nearly pulled it off, and this tainted Broncos fan, a proud Cowboys fan now boasts a large tattoo on his arm commemorating the future 2015 "World Champs" Dallas Cowboys.

Questions one through three are 'Why?' Doesn't matter, though.

Derek the hopeful Cowboys fan, co-host of a radio program called the "Billy Madison Show," is thoroughly enjoying his moment in the spotlight.

The Cowboys are the epitome of mediocrity. They are a perfectly average 136-136 in the regular season since 1997 with one (1) playoff victory over that span.

They were 8-8 last season. They will likely finish 8-8 again this year (if not 7-9).

Vegas gives the 'Boys a 70-1 shot to win the Super Bowl this eason.

Nice work, Derek.

Still, it's not as bad as the tattoo on the back of this traitor who attempted (and failed) to cover up Texans ink with a Cowboys piece:

I'm finally getting around to listening to this(Scott did this 3 years ago, but didn't have time to listen to it then).

Only got through 2.5 parts of it, but nonetheless alot of what is exposed is truely eyepopping. It seems like society by and large has tattoos now - not just celebrities, sports stars, etc, but it seems like everywhere you go, someone has something branded on them.

Doctors Warn Certain Tattoo Ink Colors Are Extremely Harmful
5/28/15

Many “inked up” Americans experience tattoo regret as their skin begins to age, but some experience that regret immediately after getting their new body art. A recent study conducted at NYU Langone Medical Center has revealed that six percent of New Yorkers with a tattoo have experienced long-term medical complications related to their ink, including tattoo-related rash, severe itching, or swelling.

"We were rather alarmed at the high rate of reported chronic complications tied to getting a tattoo," Dr. Marie Leger, an assistant professor in NYU Langone's Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, said in a statement. "Given the growing popularity of tattoos, physicians, public health officials, and consumers need to be aware of the risks involved."

Leger and her colleagues conducted survey interviews with around 300 adults in New York’s Central Park in June 2013. Survey respondents were between the ages of 18 and 69, the majority of which had no more than five tattoos. Sixty-seven percent of tattoos were located on the arm, making it the most popular tattoo site. Leger estimates that one in five adults in the United States has at least one tattoo.

Ten percent of respondents experience some type of short-term complication, such as delayed healing, pain, swelling, and infection, within weeks of getting their tattoo. Among the respondents who did experience a reaction, only a third sought help or advice from a medical professional. Long-term medical complications, including rashes, severe itching, and swelling, lasted longer than four months in some cases and even years.

"It is not yet known if the reactions being observed are due to chemicals in the ink itself or to other chemicals, such as preservatives or brighteners, added to them, or to the chemicals' breakdown over time," Leger explained. "The lack of a national database or reporting requirements also hinders reliable monitoring."

Researchers involved with the study were surprised to find out how much of an impact the ink’s color can have on long-term medical risks. Long-term complications occurred around areas of the skin that were injected with the two most common ink colors, red and black. Although 36 percent of respondents had tattoos with red ink, 44 percent of reactions were associated with red ink. A third of complications were tied to black ink, which accounted for 90 percent of tattoos.

"The skin is a highly immune-sensitive organ, and the long-term consequences of repeatedly testing the body's immune system with injected dyes and colored inks are poorly understood," Leger added. "Some of the reactions appear to be an immune response, yet we do not know who is most likely to have an immune reaction to a tattoo."

Leger plans on devoting further research to exploring what colored inks and possible dye components lead to adverse reactions. She also noted that most reactions can be treated with anti-inflammatory steroid drugs; however, in some cases laser surgery is required.

People increasingly mutilate themselves to look demonic as transhumanist movement grows

Debased humanity's growing fascination with transforming the natural human appearance into the likeness of demonic entities is gaining traction through a movement known as "transhumanism," or the blending of humans and machines, which is reportedly gaining popularity within some subcultures.

Piercings and tattoos are now old news for these folks, who are increasingly opting for the literal injection of things like silicone "devil horns," internal metallic objects and even radio frequency identification chips directly into their bodies. And while they claim that doing so will help humanity, the concept reeks of the "mark of the beast" scenario warned about in the Bible.

The photo below shows the owner of a Denmark-based company known as "Copenhagen Body Extremes," who is seen holding a skull, making a devil-worship gesture with his hands and proudly displaying devil horns on his head. Muffe Vulnuz, according to World Crunch, is one of the ringleaders of this disturbing bodily mutilation trend.

Vulnuz, who is admittedly obsessed with bodily mutilation, says he's already microchipped himself and some 300 others as part of a movement to create hybrid human-machines, all in the name of open-source technology advancement.

Here you can see Vulnuz doing work on a customer's arms, possibly injecting one of his popular microchips into it:

Transhumanism is the gateway towards a cashless, one-world global control system
The point of the microchips, he says, is to supposedly help simplify people's lives and allow them to potentially not have to carry around various forms of identification, cash and credit cards in the future. With a microchip, he says, Vulnuz and his followers are "pioneering" an effort to create what one of his supporters describes as "connected bodies."

"We carry with us loads of personal objects -- bank cards, driving licences, library cards, house keys, office keys, car keys, which have no other goal than to identify us," said Hannes Sjoblad, a Seattle native and the organizer of a recent "implant party" that took place at Vulnuz' shop.

"Eventually, we'll be able to get rid of all that and to replace them all with one unique digital identification."

In other words, Vulnuz, Sjoblad and various others are right now benchmarking the push towards a cashless society in which every human being will be expected to prove who they are, make purchases and engage socially using injected RFID microchips, without which it will eventually be difficult, if not impossible, to survive.

"For now, there are only a handful of possible uses," said Hannes. "But the more people adopt chips, the more companies and public institutions will be encouraged to develop new features."

Satanists now injecting RFID chips into people's hands throughout Europe and North America
And the movement isn't just isolated to Denmark -- according to Vulnuz, thousands of his microchips are being shipped to the U.S. and various locales throughout Europe, including in the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Belgium and France.

"These implants will be like our internal organs," purports Hannes, ominously, "our kidneys, our livers, and they'll [fulfill] their purpose without us even thinking about it."

The image below depicts the spot on a individual's arm where an RFID microchip was injected:

And here's the mutilated face of another bodily mutilation customer who appears to have had implants injected into his forehead as well as designs branded onto his cheeks:

Mom Outraged After 7-Year-Old Comes Home From School With Tattoo
12/21/15

The mother of a 7-year-old is not happy with her daughter’s school after the girl was recently sent home with henna tattoos on her hands.

As part of last week’s Multicultural Day at Ed White Elementary School in Seabrook, Texas, students had henna, a traditional Indian body art often used as part of celebrations, applied to their hands. But when Tammy Samour picked up her second-grader after class last week, she wasn’t happy to see the decorations. “I asked what that was, and [my daughter] said, ‘Henna.’ And I said, 'What is henna?’” Samour told KPRC. “Somebody tattooed my daughter without my permission.”

The lesson was part of a school celebration of different cultures, including those of Spain, India, Israel, Australia, and the U.S. “Learning about culture is awesome, but I don’t want it tattooed on my daughter — it is not our culture,” Samour said. The school did alert parents to the agenda for Multicultural Day, including a note that students “will be doing henna,” but Samour says that only her husband saw the email, and that neither of them knew what henna was.

Since researching the practice, she told KHOU, she was unhappy to learn henna has ties to the Hindu and Muslim faiths. “It’s upsetting to go through Christmas with another religion’s celebratory symbolism all over my daughter’s hands,“ she said.

The timing, she said, is particularly upsetting. “We have family photos, opening presents, church, and she is going to be wearing that on her hands throughout the holiday,” she told KPRC. Though she has tried to remove the henna from her daughter, Samour says she hasn’t been able to scrub it off. The designs typically last anywhere from one to three weeks.

The school district has apologized to the family. “This is intended to celebrate diversity and not to be divisive,” Elaina Polsen, director of communications for Clear Creek Independent School District, told KHOU. “We certainly regret that we could have and we should have provided additional information as far as henna artwork.”

Fancy a black eye?

Can i have a resume please?

Some bioethicists have concerns about cosmetic, or aesthetic, surgery because patients are being pressured to conform to stereotypes of beauty.

But what if they are conforming to stereotypes of ugliness? Does that make an ethical difference?

Take eyeball tattooing, a fad which started with a US tattoo artist who goes by the name Luna Cobra. He injects pigment directly into the eyeball so it rests under the eye's thin top layer.

"If you want to amuse yourself by decorating your eyeball, why not do it?" he told the BBC. "I do a lot of things that look like tie-dye or 'cosmic space'. I think it brings a realm of fantasy into everyday life."

The government of the Australian state of New South Wales has just passed a law regulating the procedure, but it may eventually ban it altogether.

Mr Cobra says that his first clients wanted to have blue eyeballs like characters in the science fiction novel Dune. Black has become the colour du jour amongst gentlemen who wish to look dangerous. Mr Cobra tries to ensure that they give informed consent to the procedure:

"I tell them you're going to look frightening forever to the majority of people you encounter. You might find people have trouble connecting with you or looking at you because they can't follow your iris."

The American Optometric Association has flatly condemned the practice, claiming that it puts the patient at risk of infection, inflammation and blindness. "My advice is not to do it as there's not enough benefit to even warrant considering that risk of potential pain and loss of vision," Jeffrey Walline, of the Association, told the BBC.

The object of aesthetic surgery seems to be to allow the patient to blend into a crowd of beautiful people. The object of uglification “surgery” seems to be to scare the beautiful people away.

Even then there are problems with stereotyping. Last year Jason Barnum was sentenced in an Alaskan court for the attempted murder of a policeman. At his trial police testified that his face, and especially his black eyeball, showed that he had "decided a long time ago that his life was about being hostile to people".

You Won't Believe Justin Bieber's Latest Christian Tattoo

Pop sensation Justin Bieber is no stranger to his bold declaration of faith, so why not put it right at eye level?

The musician apparently took that idea literally and had a small cross tattooed just to the side of his eye.

"Justin came in last night and decided on a small cross near the corner of his eye," tattoo artist Jonboy tells Us. "It represents his journey in finding purpose with God."

Ex-Witch: How Tattoos Relate to Occultic Blood Rituals

video : http://www.charismanews.com/culture/57543-ex-witch-how-tattoos-relate-to-occultic-blood-rituals

As old-school theologians and hipster believers debate the biblical commands not to tattoo the body, a deeper truth lurks.

Ex-witch Beth, who herself has a handful of tattoos, says one cannot ignore the similarities to occult blood rituals.

"A blood ritual is a satanic ritual that is done as a covenant or pact. There are at least two people involved in this type of ritual. The person who is shedding their own blood, and the person who is invoking a demon and its power," Beth writes on her blog, The Other Side of Darkness.

"The person who is shedding their blood is the recipient in this transaction. They are giving their blood (life) in order to receive some sort of benefit, such as life, prosperity, fame, fortune or power. The cuts are now an open doorway for the entrance of evil spirits (demons) (that) you have granted permission. By agreeing to and participating in the shedding of your blood, you have (given) the devil a right to you. Often people who participate in a blood ritual also give over rights to future generations," she continues.

Beth recognizes a tattooed body is not necessarily one and the same as blood rituals. Even Christians who passionately serve Jesus have tattoos to mark their faith.

But one cannot ignore the parallels between tattoos and blood rituals.

"However, you are piercing your skin with a needle between 50 to 3,00 times a minute. You are also shedding your blood, and you are making a choice to pierce your skin and shed your blood," Beth writes.

"You also have to consider the person who is doing the tattoo. Where are they at religiously or spiritually? If they are another religion or hold spiritual beliefs of the New Age or occult, what does the tattoo mean to them? The one who holds the tattoo gun is the one who is shedding your blood. That is a very powerful position over you. If they are praying over you to their god or goddess, how does that affect you while you are openly submitting to them shedding your blood? Does it really matter if your tattoo is of a cross or a Bible verse in this case?"

Watch the video to see more of her explanations.
