Title: Sleepiness and the Devil
Post by: christistruth on March 04, 2016, 04:02:31 pm
Every-time I listen to Godly sermons and hymns, I suddenly feel a sense of wanting to sleep.

Is Satan attacking me? ??? ???

Just curious (if you don't mind me asking), how many hours of sleep do you get per night?

Personally, I try to get to bed b/w 10-11pm (and have all electronics turned off an hour prior) - so by the time I get up around 6am, I'm at least decently alert throughout the day. However, when I go to bed around midnight, everything seems to get shifted out of place over the next day.

6 and a half to seven hours.

To answer to question - hard to say. But good point - personally when I get caught watching a secular Hollywood movie, the only time I slept during it was many years ago when I was on meds (I think the movie was "Hunt for Red October"), but that was a different story. But on the contrary, I end up getting caught napping a bit when watching a really good, godly sermon every now and then.
