The October meeting will take place in the Italian town of Assisi, the birthplace of St Francis. The Pope announced his plan at the end of his World Peace Day mass in St Peter's Basilica. The October meeting will include Christians, Jews, Muslims and Buddhists, plus leaders of many other faiths.
