Title: Talk About Managing The Media! - Where did that video go?
Post by: Kilika on May 08, 2012, 04:36:04 am
Sometimes certain things take place in the world that some people don't want others to see. Case in point: Tony Stewart's post-race interview in the media center by reporters, and NASCAR after the Talladega race.

This "interview" has now gone missing for some reason. I'm not able to find it, anywhere. Anybody know where it is?

Interesting, isn't it, to see how things take place in their world. Clearly it is not an even playing field, and they don't like it when the "citizens" get mouthy!

Here's an article to get started with. Now try to find the actual video.

In the interest of disclosure, the interviews I think are officially held by NASCAR, and the driver's are being "made available" to the press in the NASCAR media center when this took place. Can you say "copyright"?

Also, here's an article over at ESPN, a broadcaster of some NASCAR races. Notice how the author has Tony Stewart's name linked to his profile page, not the video as it seems to suggest, by having "news conference" right after his name in the possesive tense, which suggests that link is to the video.

That video looks to have been wiped from the net. Now tell me, who can do that in this world of wide open internet?
