Many of the names on that list are questionable sources, at best, put there and promoted without verifying if they really did write about Jesus. And what is attributed can't be verified as it's only a suggestion because of the time frame they lived. Most of those people listed we don't have any actual writings naming Jesus directly, nor any of the events mentioned in scripture. If it exists, I haven't seen any. The one big issue that believers need to be prepared for is explaining how can a preacher of an anti-Roman message, and anti-Jew message, preach to 5000 people, and more, at one time in and around Jerusalem, and nobody write about it? A person with that kind of attention surely something would be written about the stir He caused. Unfortunately, practically all of the early writings come from the late 1st century and later, much later. That's not proof, sorry, and believers shouldn't treat it as such. It's makes us look silly! And add to that, the first century to the third century was the beginnings of churchianity and the RCC. Second and third century literature shouldn't even be in the conversation as virtually all of it comes through churchianity, and people talking about events from more than a hundred years prior is no proof because it's too easily dismissed as credible. I think some believers need to be more moderate in their zeal to present proof in an attempt to make people believe. History proves there were several radicals opposing Roman rule during those times. Happened all the time, and I'm sure Rome executed more than one person who was not an enemy of the state, but rather a victim. Still happens to this day in the world. We need better explanations, "be ready to give an answer..." for the lack of writings about the various events that no doubt caused a major stir at the time. A crowd of 5000 gathered and Roman historians makes no mention, yet other local rebels are mentioned, by names? Hmm. I can see where people would run with that, believing it's proof of their own claims. Either they didn't write about Jesus, their writings no longer exist (innocently or not so innocently so), or never existed in the first place, or some person many years later claims they wrote about them, but have no proof but their own claims.
