March 27, 2024, 12:55:24 pm Mark says: Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked  When Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida began a speech marking the 100th day of the war in Gaza, one confounding yet eye-opening proclamation escaped the headlines. Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land.

September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

"I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." John 17:15 (KJB)

world

Kosmos, Summary: In the sense of the present world-system, the ethically bad sense of the word, refers to the "order," "arrangement," under which Satan has organized the world of unbelieving mankind upon his cosmic principle of force, greed, selfishness, ambition, and pleasure. Matthew 4:8,9; John 12:31; 14:30; 18:36; Ephesians 2:2; 6:12; 1 John 2:15-17. This world- system is imposing and powerful with armies and fleets; is often outwardly religious, scientific, cultured, and elegant; but, seething with national and commercial rivalries and ambitions, is upheld in any real crisis only by armed force, and is dominated by Satanic principles.

32  General Category / Revelation Prophecy / Re: Pre-trib rapture and antichrist on: October 06, 2011, 09:07:41 am
I like this description:
"Another crucial passage on the timing of the rapture is Revelation 3:10, in which Christ promises to deliver believers from the “hour of trial” that is going to come upon the earth. This could mean two things. Either Christ will protect believers in the midst of the trials, or He will deliver believers out of the trials. Both are valid meanings of the Greek word translated “from.” However, it is important to recognize what believers are promised to be kept from. It is not just the trial, but the “hour” of trial. Christ is promising to keep believers from the very time period that contains the trials, namely the tribulation. The purpose of the tribulation, the purpose of the rapture, the meaning of 1 Thessalonians 5:9, and the interpretation of Revelation 3:10 all give clear support to the pre-tribulational position. If the Bible is interpreted literally and consistently, the pre-tribulational position is the most biblically-based interpretation."

Besides, it can't be mid or post or we would know approximately the time...3.5 years or 7 years.

And there is his answer. Huh
35  General Category / Catholicism / Italian Worshiper Tears Both Eyes Out at Mass on: October 04, 2011, 08:50:15 am
An Italian man tore both of his eyes out in the middle of the priest's homily at a church near Pisa, according to reports.

Fellow parishioners watched in horror as Aldo Bianchini, 46, used his bare hands to pull out both eyeballs. Bianchini later told surgeons, who were unable to save his vision, he heard voices that told him to do it.

"He was in a great deal of agony and he was covered in blood," Dr. Gino Barbacci told the Daily Mail. "He said that he had used his bare hands to gouge out his eye balls after hearing voices telling him to do so - to do something like that requires super human strength."

Father Lorenzo Tanganelli said he had just launched into his sermon when he saw a commotion in the back of the church, according to the Italian paper Corriere Fiorentino.

"This man at the back of the knave started tearing at his face and I realized he was gouging out his eyes," Tanganelli told the paper. "I called for assistance and the paramedics were quickly at the scene and he was taken away and then I carried on celebrating Mass but a lot of people had left because they were so shocked by what they had seen."

The Bible's Gospel of St. Matthew quotes Jesus telling his disciples: 'If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."

If this guy Bruce Gleason had any real coviction, he would rip up the koran also, as the passages in that book are far worse than in the Bible. This just goes to show who he and his little group are attacking and their real problem is, Jesus Christ.

Just further assurance that we are on the winning side!

Sorry to drag this more off topic...back to PPF...
39  General Category / General News / Re: Re: PPF...what's the deal with this dude? on: September 20, 2011, 09:45:19 am
The Catholics condemned the rapture back in the 400's, yes that 400 AD, which really tells you something about the rapture. So it sure doesnt start in the 1800's  Cheesy catholics, retconning history since forever...

Alex doesnt act like a Christian. He gives a little mouth piece so the ones that are christian stay following him. If he came out and gave a Christian view, than really everything he is trying to accomplish is for not, as the antichrist will take over and then Jesus comes back and wins. So there is really nothing that he or anyone else can do to stop what is going to happen. And he makes his money off of that. He has to encourage people to fight against whats coming so he can stay in business. that is what it comes down too. But also his wife is a jewish catholic. Alex was taught in a Jesuit school. He has ties to the Catholic church, his site runs catholic ads.

and all this crap talk, for that is what it is, about Christians just giving up the "fight" is crap. The fight against what? Prophecy that God has ordained will happen? Our job as a Christian which is given to EVERY Christian is to go out and preach the Gospel. We are also commanded to watch for the signs of his return, Alex does neither of these. Instead he uses them to create a cult of personality around him. He could be doing so much more, and you have to ask why? If he is Christian than where is the message? you have to ask,why isnt he giving one....

Thanks Dok, I agree 100%. I think the answer to "why" may very well be he is a catholic, or maybe he is serving money instead of God. Only AJ and God knows for sure.
40  General Category / General News / Re: Re: PPF...what's the deal with this dude? on: September 20, 2011, 08:16:58 am
ive been ignoring it for years, mostly because i didnt want to believe it, but the evidence is really stacking up that Alex is a catholic and quite possibly a jesuit.

I can't remember, but do catholics believe in the rapture? AJ and amos sure made the rapture doctrine out to be evil. Something is definitely off with AJ. He claims to be a Christian but doesn't act like someone filled with the Holy Spirit.

"And if thats true, which im really starting to believe that explains a lot of stuff."

Would you elaborate Dok?

This was back when the debates were hard and heavy, before they were banned.
Why did they get banned? I missed that

I have noticed that if I am mind-boggled at an individual's beliefs/posts (ie yon, amos) and I ask them who Jesus Christ is to them, they never answer the question. Quite telling!
44  General Category / General News / Re: Re: PPF...what's the deal with this dude? on: September 17, 2011, 04:59:48 pm
I know, but what's ironic about this forum is that they insist they're fighting the NWO, but at the same time, they have this twisted thinking that Christians are helping the elite like the Rockefellers to bring in the NWO, when in fact the NWO minions consider Christians the #1 enemy.

...and they have to put faith in themselves to fight the nwo and the anti-christ, just mind-blowing how blind they are!
45  General Category / General News / Re: Re: PPF...what's the deal with this dude? on: September 17, 2011, 04:56:27 pm
Its PPF, its not a Christin site.  Huh

What I'm saying is...is what he posts and his avatar/name not a contradiction? It just seemed like something a believer would post.

Frankly, all of these candidates are rotten - for some reason, the so-called "truth" movement thinks Ron Paul will be this savior who will bring back America to its constitutional roots.

Won't happen - we can only have freedom through Jesus Christ. America only has to repent and believe in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Totally agree BornAgain2!

too many inconsistancies, too many holes in his stories, too many different names, and way to much money involved. He goes out and preaches the Gospel to get followers and endorsments but live like the devil.

Thanks Dok. Obviously you know way more about him than I do. Would you mind going into details when you get a chance. This whole subject really intrigues me!
Thanks in advance!

The Kinsey Syndrome unfolds the work and influence of Dr. Alfred Kinsey, considered to be "the father of the sexual revolution." But did Kinsey liberate America from its prudish view of sex? Or help to unleash the horrors of our present society?
Makes a lot of sense that this was funded by the Rockefellers. Just saw this and it makes me ill. Thought this was a good place to post this.

Trust in the Spirit and he will lead you to all truths. If the guy is a fraud the Spirit will lead you to that.

as to the Vid, i do not put a lot of trust into John Todd.

Just out of curiosity Dok, why is that?
56  General Category / Wolves in Sheeps clothing / Re: David J. Stewart(Jesus-Is-Savior.com) pleads guilty to child abuse on: July 07, 2011, 08:32:16 am
Thanks for the photo, but it doesn't help really. Where can I find maybe a bio on this guy? I want to know if he was in the Navy in the 80's and is from Houston. It does look like in that photo he's playing a guitar, which that's another bit of info I need.

I was stationed in the Navy with a David Stewart back in the 80's, who played guitar some, or at least was trying back then. We were roommates off-base with another guy.

Hmm.

If you scroll to the bottom of this page http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/about_jesus_is_savior.htm it gives you a brief history of him and his family, nothing about the Navy though.

Man that "jesus-is-savior" website needs some serious re-organizing! Talk about "busy" visually. That's one of the worst looking websites I've ever seen.

As for who this David Stewart is, does anybody have a photo of him? Know his age or where he's from? Is he former US Navy, maybe stationed in NAS Jacksonville at one time?

It's on this page:
