They're really pushing the 'alien' agenda like there's no tomorrow.  It it truly fascinating to watch the world and how it is being manipulated in front of our very eyes and seeing it from Christ's point of view (within us), as the devil runs to and fro to keep up the charade that is 'the lie' so as to damn as many people as possible; even sadder to watch as most will believe it.

It’s a well-known fact that when our forefathers started our country, they had life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in mind. But who knew that they also had ancient Rome in mind as well? “Ancient Rome and America,” the National Constitution Center’'s current exhibition, examines just that.

The National Constitution Center has been providing the Philadelphia area with culturally rich and historically accurate exhibits for years and this exhibit is no different. Chock full of authentic artifacts, this exhibit explores the questions that have been present among historians since the birth of our nation: Will America have the same fate as Rome? Will we use Rome as an example and not make the same mistakes? How similar are America and Rome?

The exhibit is presented in five sections, the first titled “Introduction,” followed by “Building a Republic,” “A Classical Revival,” “Expansion and Empire” and “Enduring a Legacy.” Guests can walk leisurely through the five sections, stopping to view artifacts such as jewelry, pottery, busts and much more.

Visitors to the exhibit will start by examining symbols that were present in ancient Rome and present in America, including a look at the significance of the eagle in both cultures, and view an original carved bald eagle dating back to the 1700s.

In the next section, “Building a Republic,” the similarities between the birth of Rome and America can be viewed. The breakaway from a monarchy and the formation of a republic are events shared by both Rome and America, and this section compares major events and stories in Roman culture to those in American culture, such as those of Romulus and Remus and Paul Revere. Among others, artifacts in this section include slave collars from both cultures, illustrating the struggle with slavery that Rome and America both faced. Also present are writings from America’s forefathers, examining the comparisons between Rome and America that they made when laying the groundwork for our country.

Next is “A Classical Revival,” which examines Rome’s influence on America’s art and culture. Also present are examples of citizenship in both cultures and a view of how Rome impacted American entertainment and architecture. Guests can see original, handwritten letters between John and Abigail Adams, as well as jewelry and clothing from both cultures. Also present is a collage of Roman influences in modern entertainment, including movies such as “Gladiator.” This section even compares ancient gladiators to today’s football players.

Next up is “Expansion and Empire,” which examines the growth and expansion of Rome, both geographically and culturally, compared to that of America. On display are busts of prominent Roman emperors. Also shown here is the struggle people went through to obtain citizenship. You can see tablets engraved to allow a Roman soldier citizenship in 93 CE, as well as papers granting citizenship to an American soldier in 1864.

The final section of the exhibit is “Enduring the Legacy,” and it is meant to leave guests with questions as well as answers. With their newfound knowledge of the similarities between ancient Rome and America, guests are left to their own devices to decipher what it all means.

The stunning artifacts and displays in this exhibit serve their purpose to inform and expand the visitor’s impressions of American history. The comparison of major events in both American and Roman histories, as well as the comparison of the structure of both governments is highlighted by the stunning visual effect that this exhibit offers.

There’s no question about it — this exhibit was meant to be a conversation piece, and it more than meets its goal of educating while still remaining stimulating.

I have to agree, tennis shoe.  They began with the visual testing of the masses with all sorts of phenomenon in the skies and now they are 'testing' their audio devices.  I see it as a grand lab experiment for a future deceit.  Blend in all the hoaxers and it leaves open the element of surprise,  misunderstanding and all sorts of unanswered questions; allowing the masses to use their imaginations.  Since they are happening sparsely as they are, then when the 'big one' comes no one will be too skeptical, but open to whatever may happen.

I always thought this scripture pertained to Tribulation times where the Bible, any Bible, would be outlawed and thought perverse and dangerous, just like Christians, themselves, will be. 

That's interesting and strange because the same thing was happening last summer in the city of Windsor, Ontario.  I haven't kept up to date, but here is what I have on it:  (The comments section is small but some believe it is drilling and another believes it is the Navy communicating with subs.  )  The original article states it also happened in Florida simply called,   "The Noise…..", which most thought was a nearby airport. I don't believe it is freemason, but I could be wrong about that...but it is a heart that is popular.

The use of the word 'evolution' is pretty lame.  I'm pretty sure the evolution faith teaches that a shark would become a crab, and start life on shore or something.  This instance of inter-breeding within a species would be micro evolution, a natural phenomenon within all species, not macro evolution (to which there is no cross-over evidence of any kind) of one species of creature evolving into an entirely different one, i.e.) a cat becoming a dog.

Most people won't notice the lie in this word's usage and will take it upon 'scientific' faith that this is indeed evolution and proof of it.

Mark, so, does Stan and Holly believe in aliens, hence their story being taken or did they have an experience they believe to be with demons?  I'm a little confused on where they stand now with giving a warning. 

I have a feeling that the Charismatic movement will play a huge part in the end times 'religion', especially concerning gathering together the three main faiths: Islam, Judaism and (false) Christianity, possibly even uniting with the Catholic Vatican under a one-world religion.  May be that if the Vatican is the beast, evangelical will be the false-prophet in a religious parallel of the allegorical political sense.   The Vatican woos Islam and Jews, while the evangelicals woo Christians to set aside the truth of our Lord and Savior as being the ONLY way. 

I had to learn this, hence why I left PPF (along with other reasons), but the reality is that there is nothing we can do to 'better' this world, it IS in satan's hands and it will only get worse as per the Bible which states plainly God's plan for the end.  The only thing I can do is ground myself in His Word and follow the Father's lead as to how I can be useful to Him wherever that may be.  As to the article, it is plain to see why satan wishes to create a one-world 'everything', just as Nimrod did with the tower of Babel...people are easier to control all around and won't have the freedoms they need to seek Christ in order to be saved.

I believe that God has allowed this because this is and will be the avenue where Christians will be jail/prosecuted and some even martyred for their faith.  Governments can define it however they wish, but deep down it has all been planned before the 'beginning', God's plan, and its end used by the devil, is strategic and evil.  But, Jesus states that it will happen...

Agreed.  This is the bottom line for me; once anything in the Bible is declared untrue it is no longer Christianity they are talking about and they should then give it another name, their points become completely moot to those who believe it, as the basis of Christianity is faith in the Word, all of the Word and every word it states.  They could do this with any religious faith, any point of historical data, anything that has ever been written, but in the end what does it really do except prove that there is a spirit that wishes to negate this particular faith in any way it can.

I would have to ask those who believe in soul sleep how the above scripture is so.  We could justify that these are either any and all martyrs throughout the history of the world, (as they await the deaths of their “fellow servants…to…be killed as they were), or they are the Tribulation saints who have been martyred; either way (as who they are is not what I am debating)…they are not asleep in the grave, but are in heaven with God. 

It is also not at the end of time for we know that a new heaven and earth will be made and God will dwell with men at that time, there will be no more death and therefore no one waiting for anyone else to be martyred.  This is in heaven, before Christ's return and these are those who have been martyred...not in the grave sleeping, they are instead crying out to the Lord about 'avenging their blood' on those who 'dwell upon the earth'.

Good video!  I like how this video shows us that the Dec. 2012 date is not what is important, but the gospel message; for none of us may even be here for that date and if not....where will we be going, heaven or hell.

What I meant, Mark, was I know you said no one is there now, but that insinuates that at some point someone was, and if so, who?  If any person, at any time, then wouldn't that mean that they hadn't slept? And if that is so, where are they now?  Did they die...go to Abraham's Bosom and then go back to sleep at some point?  I don't see that in scripture.

So, does that also mean that no one is in hell; that unbelievers 'sleep' as well?  If not in hell, then what is its purpose if unbelievers awake at judgement which is when they will be thrown into the lake of fire along with hell (hades) and death? And also what was the purpose of Abraham's Bosom if no one was ever there?

Indeed He can, Jim!!  He can use these bibles to save, as well as, usher in all that prophecy foretells about the end times' world religion.  His will be done!

What do you guys and gals think?  They claim it is a civilization that is now considered the oldest in the world's history and pegging it at 12,000 years old.  It was discovered in 1994.  This is the first I've heard of it.
