The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. 62  General Category / End Times / Israel served as ‘main course’ at EU dinner, official says on: June 22, 2011, 05:12:13 pm
Worry in Israel that EU wants Quartet to make concession to PA in return for dropping UN bid; J'lem also frustrated that EU dinner on ME doesn't include Israeli representative.

Quartet envoys are expected to meet in Brussels at the end of the week amid increasing concern in Jerusalem that the EU hopes to avert a Palestinian statehood bid at the UN in September by, as one senior Israeli official said on Wednesday, “giving something” significant to the Palestinians.

According to the official, the concern was that the EU is pushing for the adoption of US President Barack Obama’s formula of restarting negotiations using the pre-1967 lines with mutually agreed land swaps as a baseline, but without pressing the Palestinians to elaborate on security arrangements of any future accord with Israel.

The official also said the Palestinians wouldn’t be pressed to acknowledge Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people as a baseline for negotiations.

Many in Europe feel that something significant must be given to the Palestinians to get them to back down from their bid to get the UN General Assembly to recognize Palestinian statehood, the official said.

63  General Category / End Times / Michael Oren: Gaza blockade is 'matter of life and death' on: June 22, 2011, 05:05:10 pm
WASHINGTON – Israel’s Ambassador to the US Michael Oren on Wednesday defended the blockade of Gaza as a “matter of life and death” and said that it fully comports with international law, as a flotilla prepares to attempt to reach Gaza.

Oren said that Israel is pleased that the Turkish government is opposing the expedition and that Turkish group IHH has withdrawn its participation in the flotilla, which is set to mark the anniversary of the attempt last year to breach the blockade which left nine activists aboard the IHH’s ship dead after a confrontation with the IDF.

Turkey recalled its ambassador to Israel following last year’s incident and demanded an apology for actions the IDF considered as self-defense, and Oren indicated that Israel is in discussions with Ankara to find language that would satisfy both governments’ requirements so that the rift could be mended.

Oren said that the blockade was necessary to prevent rockets from reaching Gaza and then threatening Israel, and that under the terms of international maritime law, all ships must be prevented from reaching shore under a legal blockade so that no exception could be made for the anticipated flotilla.

Of the 11 ships expected to set sail, an American vessel is likely to be the largest one. However, a former US Justice Department official and executive director of AIPAC has written to US Attorney-General Eric Holder urging him to take strong steps to prevent American participation.

It is illegal for the Jews to pray on the temple mount and they also have a limited time they can actually visit the mount as far as I know.  That is why they are still praying at the Western wall (the Wailing Wall).
This is all going to turn around, I think Netanyahu has taken a hard stance concerning Mt Moriah and Israel is known as a nation that does not sit back and wait for the ball to drop. A preemptive strike would not surprise me. The Arab nations are putting him in the position where he will have no other choice. He has made it known that Israel will not just give up the temple mount.

It gets weirder and weirder !  From what I understand dates mean a hold a lot of significance to the Illuminati. Just as the Lord has His appointed times.....  the counterfeit (Satan) has his too.

Tom Horn and David Flynn teach a lot about numerology from God's view and from the Illuminati view. It is interesting.

I believe God's appointed times where His 7 feast days, the fall ones yet to be fulfilled...Feast of Trumpets, (rapture) Day of Atonement (judgement) and feast of Tabernacles ( dwelling with the Lord.)

The Seven Feasts of Israel are key waypoints on a roadmap into holy history. Four of them have been fulfilled already. They were fulfilled in epic fashion right on those auspicious Hebrew calendar dates to which they belong. This was true for each of the three spring feasts and the summer feast of Pentecost as well. Here is the situation so far.

1. Passover             Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His crucifixion
in the spring of 32 A.D.)

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread   Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His burial in the tomb
in the spring of 32 A.D.)

3. Feast of Firstfruits       Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His Resurrection
in the spring of 32 A.D.)

4. Feast of Pentecost       Fulfilled! (By the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost
in the summer of 32 A.D.)

(A gap of 2000 years or so has allowed the Light of Israel to
.             go forth into the nations for the Gentiles to be evangelized).
.

  - - - - - - - - - - - -     WE ARE HERE     - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Now here come the Fall Feasts.
They are probably just up ahead.
.
5. The Feast of Trumpets      Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).

6. The Day of Atonement      Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).
(The Jewish nation and "all Israel" will be saved! - Zech.12:8-13:1, Rom. 11)
(And then comes the Day of the Lord, Doomsday for the wicked and
the Resurrection-Rapture of the Elect drawn from Israel and the gentiles.)

7. The Feast of Tabernacles   Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).
The coming 1000 year Millennium of Messiah.

Wolf, thanks for the scriptures you pointed out to me... I do agree that God calls us, R C Sproul who is a Calvinist says that the interpretation for the word "draw" in that particular verse is the action verb, like drawing water from a well. However, I still believe we choose to serve Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior. There are many scriptures that can be referenced to that very point also.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
70  General Category / Bible Study / Re: Free will or predestination??? on: June 21, 2011, 05:34:02 pm
There are literally thousands of philosophical and theological essays, articles and texts written on Augustine's view of free will or free choice of will. The most striking thing about these various articles, essays and texts is that few seem to be able to agree on what Augustine was saying. Indeed, so much variance on the interpretations of St. Augustine's writings exists it makes one wonder if the same texts were being read. Part of this is due to Augustine's own ambiguity in his writings. On free will, Augustine argues free will most certainly exists and argues that people can choose to be good, or good will as he puts it, or chose evil. He also argues that those who are saved have been predetermined to be saved by God prior to birth. This is the very ambiguity that has created such debate on what Augustine means by free choice of will. He asserts that man can choose a life of good will, but also argues that if God has not chosen this soul for salvation then the choice to be good has no relevance towards his salvation. Conversely, those who act in a wretched manner but chosen by God for salvation will still be saved regardless of their actions.
It is in his insistence that evil actions are at their root a matter of free will where Augustine makes the most sense and is the least ambiguous. By asserting this, he has also distanced evil from the cause of God. It is not God who is the source of evil as all his creations are good, it is in the act of free will and the choice to commit evil that belongs to humanity, or even the angels, and not to God. However, Augustine's insistence that the actions of good are by the grace of God seems to contradict his own assertions on free will. While God should take no blame for evil, God receives all the credit for good regardless of the actions of people who have acted in accordance with good will. Thus people are to blame for the evil they cause but deserve no credit for the good they do.

Augustine has also argued that because of desires and passions peoples ability to act upon their own free will has been greatly diminished. He considered lust to be one of the greatest sins of all and that so many people are afflicted by lust and so willingly give into it is offered as evidence of the feebleness of free will. Where St. Augustine makes salient points on how desires of the flesh are in direct conflict with the spirit, his argument that by the grace of God we behave in a good manner is in direct conflict with his insistence that evil his an action of free will. If God makes us be good, why then, can not the devil make us do it, when we behave badly? If people are truly to have free will, of which Augustine insists we do, then both actions, good or evil, must be the choices of ours and ours alone regardless of any predetermined salvation by God.

He does sound quite ambiguous, maybe a bit confused... I care not what man says, the only TRUTH for me is the Holy Word of God.

and by the way the house of Windsor comes from relationship to Germany's Saxe-Coburg and Gotha

here's a bit of interesting info :
Royal lineage Tracing 160 years of British queens, kings, princes and princesses

Two venerable households united in the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana: The royal House of Windsor and the Spencer family.

The Spencers are the older family.

Diana's ancestors settled in the sheep farming village called Althorp in 1506; by the end of the 16th century, they had taken roles at the royal court. At the beginning of the 20th century, one of Diana's great-grandfathers was Lord Chamberlain, or head of the household, to Edward VII and George V. Her father was an attendant to George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. She could trace her ancestry to two 17th century English kings, Charles II and James II.

In comparison, the Windsors are almost newcomers

‘It’s a sad day’ — Crest could be 10 feet higher than June 1
June 21, 2011

All words used to describe what city, county and state officials warn is an imminent assault on all residents of the Souris River Valley.

The highest flows ever recorded on the Souris are approaching a city whose defenses are destined to be over run. Can the city hold?

Dikes currently in place, recently improved greatly to combat high flows, are now expected to disappear under the traveling torrent. The amount of water flowing with a vengeance down the Souris River Valley is forecast to inundate Minot to a level seven to eight feet higher than the catastrophic and benchmark flood of 1969.

Saddened with that horrific knowledge, officials announced during a late afternoon press conference Monday that very little can be done to stop the powerful onslaught. Massive secondary dikes that were built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to save much of the town from the previous high on the Souris this year fall far short of defending against the impending and rapid rise of the Souris.

Mandatory evacuations were ordered Monday for all evacuation zones within Minot. Mayor Curt Zimbelman said all affected residents and businesses must vacate those areas no later than 10 p.m. Wednesday. Within minutes of the announcement residents once again began the laborious and hastened work of moving out of their homes for the second time this year.

"It's a sad day in Minot," Zimbelman said at the end of a press conference Monday.

Burlington Mayor and Ward County Commissioner Jerome Gruenberg, backed by a declaration from Gov. Jack Dalrymple, urged evacuations at all points along the river in Ward County. Dalrymple urged citizens to "move in an orderly and not panicky way." Rick Hauck, Corps of Engineers, said the "saving lives" is now what is important.

"It's pretty easy to get to 23,000 cfs, which is bearing down on Sherwood as we speak," said Alan Schlag, Monday. Schlag is a hydrologist for the National Weather Service in Bismarck.

For comparison purposes, the previous peak flow at Sherwood this year, one which caused great concern at all points downstream, was a mere 8,860 cfs.

"Basically, Canada is pouring the coals to releases from dams. Rafferty is wide open, Alameda upped to 1,800 Monday and Boundary was at about 5,000 cfs," said Schlag.

Dalrymple, who conversed with Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall on Monday, said he received assurances from the Canadians that all that could be done to prevent high flows was done. Additionally, said Dalrymple, the citizens of Estevan are already enduring flooding hardships that may soon be experienced in Minot as well.

"It is very serious. Very difficult," said Dalrymple. "You need to protect your services at all costs."

Zimbelman explained that essential city services would be diked and that every effort would be made to keep Broadway open for traffic. To accomplish that, the recently constructed secondary dike beginning at the intersection of University Avenue and Third Street Northwest, which passes under Broadway Bridge and then east along Fourth Avenue toward the State Fairgrounds, needs to be raised approximately seven feet.

As of Monday afternoon no other dike projects or improvements had been decided upon. Limited by time and resources and facing a challenge never before thrown upon the Magic City, it appeared Monday that much of the community would be left to the mercy of a very uncooperative river.

"Let's not forget about the rural areas either. This will be much, much higher than we've ever seen before in history," said Dalrymple.

The flows currently rolling rapidly toward Minot, and even more water projected to follow, is of such volume that it is beyond the comprehension of NWS computer modeling.

"One of the biggest problems we'll experience with this is that it is far and above and beyond any previous experience as far as cfs," remarked Schlag. "Rating curves just don't apply anymore. A person is left to their own devices to come up with numbers."

The numbers were crunched for several hours at the NWS Hydrologic Forecast Center in Chanhassen, Minn., Monday. What they came up with was an initial high of 1,564.3 feet at Minot's Broadway Bridge by Saturday. As early as Thursday evening the river is projected to surpass its all-time high of 1,558 feet. Those numbers, astronomical in terms of flows in the Souris, only reflect the initial blow to be dealt the city and is subject to further increase as the situation develops and hydrologic outlooks project further into the future.

The crowd at Monday's City Hall press conference sat in stunned silence, followed by a few brief murmurs, when it was revealed that releases into the Souris from Lake Darling Dam would be ramped up to "16 or 17,000 cfs by Thursday." Minot's existing dike system laborously protects against 10,000 cfs. The previous high release for Lake Darling prior to this flood event was less than 5,000 cfs. Numbers all along the Souris are similarly stunning, shocking and, ultimately, saddening.

Zimbelman said that there was a possibility of adding more evacuation areas in the coming days and that all citizens should be planning for that eventuality. In the meantime, say city and county leaders, the matter is not if the city will flood, but how soon, how severe and how long lasting the flooding will be.

Let be praying for the people caught in the midst of this. Once again, is this God's hand of protection being removed from our land as we as a nation come against Israel?Huh

World's oceans in 'shocking' decline

The oceans are in a worse state than previously suspected, according to an expert panel of scientists.

In a new report, they warn that ocean life is "at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecedented in human history".

They conclude that issues such as over-fishing, pollution and climate change are acting together in ways that have not previously been recognised.

The impacts, they say, are already affecting humanity.

The panel was convened by the International Programme on the State of the Ocean (IPSO), and brought together experts from different disciplines, including coral reef ecologists, toxicologists, and fisheries scientists.

Its report will be formally released later this week.

"The findings are shocking," said Alex Rogers, IPSO's scientific director and professor of conservation biology at Oxford University.

"As we considered the cumulative effect of what humankind does to the oceans, the implications became far worse than we had individually realised.

"We've sat in one forum and spoken to each other about what we're seeing, and we've ended up with a picture showing that almost right across the board we're seeing changes that are happening faster than we'd thought, or in ways that we didn't expect to see for hundreds of years."

These "accelerated" changes include melting of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, sea level rise, and release of methane trapped in the sea bed.
Fast changes

"The rate of change is vastly exceeding what we were expecting even a couple of years ago," said Ove Hoegh-Guldberg, a coral specialist from the University of Queensland in Australia.
Fish at market Some species are already fished way beyond their limits - and may also be affected by other threats

"So if you look at almost everything, whether it's fisheries in temperate zones or coral reefs or Arctic sea ice, all of this is undergoing changes, but at a much faster rate than we had thought."

But more worrying than this, the team noted, are the ways in which different issues act synergistically to increase threats to marine life.

Some pollutants, for example, stick to the surfaces of tiny plastic particles that are now found in the ocean bed.

This increases the amounts of these pollutants that are consumed by bottom-feeding fish.

Plastic particles also assist the transport of algae from place to place, increasing the occurrence of toxic algal blooms - which are also caused by the influx of nutrient-rich pollution from agricultural land.

In a wider sense, ocean acidification, warming, local pollution and overfishing are acting together to increase the threat to coral reefs - so much so that three-quarters of the world's reefs are at risk of severe decline.

Egypt Air removes Israel from map

Jordan stretches to sea in online map by Egypt's largest airline, though it continues to fly to Israel

Egypt Air, the largest airline in Egypt, has removed Israel from the map – literally. On its website, Ynet has learned, Jordan's land reaches the Mediterranean Sea.

The airline's subsidiary, Air Sinai, flies to Israel regularly, but customers seeking flights to Ben Gurion National Airport will have a hard time finding them. On the map are the names of the Mideast capitals – Amman, Beirut, and Damascus – but Israel is nowhere to be found.

Jordan stretches to sea in online map

Egypt Air is the first large airline to have omitted the state from its map of destinations. Other airlines based in Muslim countries, such as Turkish Airlines and Royal Jordanian, include Israel and Tel Aviv on its maps.

The omission is especially odd seeing as the company continues to fly to Israel four times a week. Cairo-Tel Aviv flights were temporarily halted following the recent uprising that overturned the government, but were then reinstated.

There has also been an increase in passengers on Air Sinai's flights. According to the Airports Authority, the airline saw an increase of 27% in 2010 from the year previous.

Tzipi Livni shaking hands with Salam Fayyad, 2008

On January 14, 2009, Bolivia and Venezuela suspended diplomatic ties with Israel, and on January 16, 2009, Qatar suspended economic ties after Bashar al-Assad and Khaled Meshaal called on all Arab states to break ties with the Jewish state in the wake of the 2008–2009 Israel–Gaza conflict. On March 6, 2009, the Israeli diplomatic delegation to Mauritania left after nine years of diplomatic ties, following a demand from the Mauritanian authorities to close the Israeli embassy in Nouakchott within 48 hours.[11] The Mauritanian delegation to Israel left earlier without sending official notice to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[12] In September 2009, the Maldives restored diplomatic relations with Israel, 15 years suspending them.[13] On June 2, 2010 Nicaragua suspended diplomatic ties with Israel in response to the Gaza flotilla raid.[14]

The following 22 UN member states do not recognize Israel as a state: Afghanistan,[15] Algeria,[16] Bahrain[17] Bangladesh,[18] Brunei,[citation needed] Chad,[19] Cuba,[20] Indonesia,[20][18][21] Iran,[22] Iraq,[23] Kuwait,[20] Lebanon,[20] Libya,[24] Malaysia,[20][18][21] North Korea,[20] Pakistan,[20] Saudi Arabia,[20] Somalia,[25][26][27] Sudan,[20] Syria,[20][28] United Arab Emirates[29] and Yemen.[20]

Non UN-member states: The Republic of China (Taiwan) recognizes Israel, but does not officially conduct relations (though there are "unofficial relations") due to Israel's recognition of the People's Republic of China. The Sahrawi Republic does not recognise Israel.[citation needed]

the map you are looking at is a new map, I believe it was made by the EU and some other alphabet soup parties. I will look up  the info to let you know.

I agree with you on that... America is not mentioned in end times prophecy. Question is, will our country be destroyed before, after or simultaneously with the rapture?
85  General Category / Bible Study / Free will or predestination??? on: June 20, 2011, 06:10:29 pm
Did you come to Christ or did He come to you?

For me the answer to that question is He came to me, but I responded with "yes Lord, here I am and submitted myself to His authority.   I could have responded no, not yet Lord.

I think predestination is an explanation of God's omniscience. I believe He gives us all free will and this I know.... Whatsoever a man soweth, that also will he reap.

good video, a little nauseating at time....Lady GaGa , the Unicorn puppet...
We have been going through this predictive programming for many years now. These things are actually, really going on I believe right now. I remember listening to an interview where these young Hollywood  female stars admitted to having sex with demons. I wonder how many walk the face of this earth who are not fully human.  Tom Horn and L A Marzulli along with David Flynn have some good in depth teachings about alien abductions, nephilim, giants, the altering of DNA, etc. You can look up any of their sites by googling their names.
We do live in perilous times. The meaning of perilous in the scripture is "ragingly insane"

Demonic looking creature, and what's with the little arms and shoulders? great hair!  Is that for real, like a nephilim  or just a hoax???  I don't think it is real, but even if someone put it together to fool people, where would they get a little head like that from??? is it a internet trick with photoshop or something?  Boy, I sound so gullible !  It just freaks me out . Is that decay or is it just what the thing looks like, I can't tell.

I don't know if anyone is following the flooded Mississippi, but I am getting quite concerned...this could be nothing, I just don't know, this is simply an FYI...we have nuclear power plants in Nebraska that are completely surrounded by water and starting to flood!!

Some say there is an awful lot of no fly zones (for airplanes) that have just recently been posted on the gov. Website for this coming week, seems like the flooding along the Mississippi is a MUCH bigger deal than getting reported....the dams are at full capacity with much more water on the way, if these old rickety levees break, God help us all!!!  They say it will result in the worst catastrophe in US history

I started listening to it last night, Dr. Johnson sure is convincing and uses Missler's own declarations to expose him. The more I listen to the things happening in the "church" the more skeptical I am. BTW I was already a skeptic of many of those false teachers, especially the prosperity gospel and the say it and claim it.    Thanks so much for the links, book marked them .
