Yes, Christians on forums can come across as quite mean. Im guilty of it myself, and have often thought of just quieting the forum scene. Scott has mentioned that he quite the forums years ago for the same reason. I dont know why he took the link down this time, im not asking either. I do know he gets frustrated when something goes on here and someone runs and tells him that people on the forum are not taking his view on something or what not.
Its not really that big of a deal, people are going to disagree with each other. There is no way around it, you can take many Doctrines and see different view points, but there is no reason the get mad and flustered. Sometimes one person might not understand the doctrine or has been taught differently, and we all do not like when we are corrected on an issue. It is usually pride that gets our dander up. Im guilty myself.
People are allowed a different opinion, right or wrong the choices we make our are own and ultimately we are responsible for our selves.
And some may find a post, even one they argue about - might sink home with them at some point.. and change their life. |

So shouldn't you folks get rid of your internet? There is WAY more access to horrible, sinful stuff on the internet than on tv! Some folks are just bound to be pharisees and legalize themselves to death! WORSE, they legalize their brothers and sisters in Christ to death! If you put ANYTHING before God it is an idol...this includes worrying about what others are doing in their walk with the Lord! If God doesn't want you to watch tv, I promise He will convict you through the Holy Spirit. Man, all this time spent legalizing others to death instead of telling the lost how GREAT our God is! Could you imagine the changes we could make in this world (including myself) if we stopped trying to be everyone's Holy Spirit?
I'm not trying to call anyone out in particular, God just put this on my heart and i felt I should share.

I tend to agree there. One man's weakness may be another's strength. I have cable and all, but I hardly watch it, I'm about to turn it off just due to that fact. A few words coming from that old TV were instrumental in my salvation. Just the right words at the right time - God can use the worse evil for his good, as evidenced by the crucifixion of Jesus. But yes, anything that is likely to come between you and God, you should just avoid. I try, but fail often on that advice myself. Problem with so many of man's tools and inventions - the more powerful the concept is, the more likely it will be used for evil. Imagine a hypothetical world where it was completely 100% governed by God's law and love... Things like - RFID tracking, Computers would be fantastic tools. Children could wear RFID bracelets and if they got lost, you could find them in minutes. Computers could be used for handicapped people to work easily, the deaf could read all day, the blind could listen to countless books on the internet. Nuclear technology would be used for just power and medicine. And on and on... but alas; pride insures we will never really have anything to be personally proud of - all these devices will be twisted for evil use. The more powerful the device, the more evil can use it. But we can be proud of our God and his love and mercy. I would only say to pray and if it's put on your heart to ditch the tube - by all means, toss it right out. But I also agree!! We must be vigilant, much of this is out there to 'coerce' us into complacency. Funny now - I watch stuff from years ago; movies from the 30's, 40's... on up - and do see the slow degradation of morals along the way. Easy to see in hindsight, huh? Often TV will just outright disgust me, but on another note, it's a good way to keep vigilant when you notice what's going on. I suppose they don't call it 'programming' for nothing, huh?  |

Also you should never put any one other than Jesus up on a pedestal, every one but him will always fall off. I didnt listen to this teaching as it just didnt seem that interesting and i knew all that stuff already, but im quite sure there are people out there that have never heard of this stuff. A lot of Scotts teachings i already know about, as im a highly informed person, but a lot of his listeners are not like me. But i do not disparage those that aren't and neither should you.
Let's get this 'follow government' thing in context. You can liken that passage in Romans to the military. The POTUS is the 'commander-in-chief' - of course, the people are his/her boss. Then the secretary of defense. Then we fall down to the General of the Army or a 4-star in the joint chiefs. Etc, etc, etc.. If the POTUS gives an order and a Major disregards it - you are NOT in trouble for ignoring the order of the Major, since it is in direct opposition to the order from the Commander in Chief. Particularly if it's clear.. Say a General went AWOL and is suspected a traitor. The POTUS orders that NO killing force is to be used. If the Major tells you to 'shoot to kill' - you ignore that order. Same here - if God says we are not to kill, and government says you must kill - you are obligated to follow God's law. This has in fact happened in not just N@zi Germany but other places. No one - that I know of - would say any N@zi officer was in the 'right' for killing people to fill Hitler's final solution. Even though - that officer would have been following the laws of the current government. Of course, that's just the way I see it |

 Dok and I have manged to not get banned, so it is possible by the grace of God, at least when one is walking in the Spirit. My previous profile didn't last so long! About 500 posts I guess before I was banned, over Hugo Chavez of all people! I told them he was a socialist dictator, and they didn't believe it, saying he was the people's hero and giving the NWO the finger, blah, blah. Whatever! He's shown his true colors since then, and I've been proven correct, so in the end, we know the truth, so some forum full of ignorance won't change that, no matter what digital profile we have online. On judging.. I think, well, we are to help those in the church stay true to the gospel; that all being said - judging a person at face value and judging actions can be two different things, indeed. After all; should we not place a judgment on those who's actions clearly are contrary and damaging to God's word? 1 Corinthians 5

The Warren County Drug Task Force and county prosecutor’s office will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. Tuesday to provide details on the investigation and indictments for multiple crimes including engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, drug trafficking and possession.
The case led to the charges against suspects in Warren, Clinton, Butler, Montgomery, Hamilton and Clermont counties, said task force Commander John Burke.
He said Countryside YMCA employees were not involved in the steroid abuse.
No other details will be provided until the press conference, Burke said. |

I listened to Hal Lindsey on a regular basis when I started keeping up with end times events in 2008 - he's not bad. He would give reports on Israel/ME every week(that were pretty sound) among other things. However, my big gripe with him is that he's caught up in the false left/right paradigm. For example, in 2008 after the banker bailout package got rammed through, he exposed the Federal Reserve(among other things). However, he went as far as blaming Bill Clinton entirely for starting this mess, and even defended George W. Bush b/c supposedly Bush tried to warn everyone about it(but supposedly the Democrats in Congress overrode him). Even though Lindsey said it's happening b/c bible prophecy said it would, at the same time, he acted like there were "good" people in Congress(Republicans) and "bad" people there(Democrats). For the record, Bush Jr largely had the Republicans behind him on Capitol Hill until 2007(when the Democrats took over), so obviously the Republicans were just as responsible as the Democrats. And New Gingrich and Bob Dole were the GOP leaders in Congress when Clinton was in office. You get my point...
Yes, we all have a bit to grow Lately; he seems a bit less partisan anymore. To that - he was instrumental in my salvation... let's say he said the right thing at the right time and I happened to catch it. I suppose it's really God, but still... |

And it was shortly after all this, I think, when I started reading the KJV, and started digging into it(instead of a mere 15 minutes a day in some NIV "study bible"). Overall, I had no idea of the false Churchianity system. While I knew of churches being tax-exempt, I had no idea of the 501c3 tag that put it under the bondage of the IRS. HARDLY any ministries out there, even good discerning ones, will touch it with a 10 foot pole. Only Scott, Slattery, Adams, and Dixon are the very few. Other than that, you don't hear Roger Oakland, Chris Roseborough, Bill Schnebolen, Jan Markell, Noah Hutchings, Russ Dizzdar, among other of our decent end times watchmen say anything about it. It can be a pretty touchy subject, at the same time.
Well, the whole 501c3 thing... Churches exist in the confines of this political system and others - even in Jesus' day, that was much the same. That being said, most of my 'church' is a small group bible study and I listen to a few on the radio and the web. I'm sure there are some that try to exist under a tax-exempt status that are as good as any. Question will come when this status really hits home and tries to push them certain ways - we'll see the wheat and chaff separated immediately. While I prefer a few, like Hal Lindsey, Chuck Swindoll, Robbie Zachariah and a few others - I'm willing to listen to most of them. If I find a major concept they push that's just not biblical I'll run away. But small mistakes or differences of opinion on certain things aren't such a big deal. Even in the case of a corrupt preacher though - God can still work through them, whether they like it or not.. |

Yes there are misinfo experts out there and how they love to talk and talk. They spread there lies here and there conning simple people. They are deluded yet call others deluded and get deluded people to agree with them. Thank God i got booted from that forum. I was thinking should i go back again and the forum had this darkness about it plus i'm punished now because you know what happens if you get expelled from the PPF Forum - they notify the ISP to say that i'm a troublemaker or something like that when what happened was i posted one video about Islam which sent people crazy, they even shutdown one of the subforums, i did get no warning. Well that is the way it is, i'm not bitter at all, i think that when you have these experiences you learn things. Well i hope this guy gets the truth, but saying them Catholics are one of the most deceived groups that are out there and Catholicism is a prisonhouse to anyone involved in it. It is strange how anyone can have reverence for Roman Catholic Priests especially these days.
Well, I try to get people to think about God there. I was a lot more radical and hate filled at first there, prior to me trusting in God a lot more. I tend to not post too many pictures and videos anymore and as far as fighting back and forth with some there - I'll debate, but if the topic degrades, I'll just step out. Don't blame you for avoiding it either, there's a lot on there that's just depressing. Be it articles about the state of the world, or the shallow people.. etc. I suppose if they banned me, that would be it for me; I've been on there a while I guess and wouldn't bother to make a new account. They may someday ban me for my Christian posts, but oh well. I tend to stay away from discussion on other religion myself - it would probably get me banned too. I have no hate for anyone; but I can't say that some of these other religions don't disgust me. |

I agree with you overcast. I think the 'cry' of sodom and gomorrah was the cry of the children. why would it be the perverts and rapists crying? its **** fantasy. sexual sin makes u more and more depraved and u have to do unnatural things in order to provide excitement. regular sex just doesn't do it. i remember listening to a radio talk show about the addiction of **** and how it ruins people's lives. no this wasn't a Christian radio show. i believe the host was a counselor treating people addicted to ****. i remember a teaching dr. scott did on pedophilia and that **** could possibly lead a person to be interested in child ****. which i wouldn't go that far but i would say its destructive. i think i went off on a tangent here didn't i? i always do that.  I do think it will end up going as deep and dark as a person lets it go. I very seriously doubt the vast majority of pedophiles just woke up one day and went to that extreme - while there are exceptions, I suspect the vast majority started with girls in swimsuits... and it got worse and worse. Of course, in many cases there may be surrounding mental issues perhaps, but I think it can get it's claws in anyone that sinks to that level. I'm sure it happens gradually enough in many cases that they don't know how far down the path they are... And yeah - I go off on tangents and rants quite often myself |

Hmm, it' so special and Mayan, then why are they holding this ceremony in San Fransico? I know the spiritual implications of the Bay area, but this is suppose to be some new deal, and they aren't doing it in Mayan lands? I would think it would be something they'd do at one of the temples down there, but I guess the locals think they are kooks too.  It might have more to do with the volume of suckers in the regions.. |

My best advice is to remember that every verse is perfect, and will not return to you void. THat said, one must pray that they don't get in the way of the Holy Ghost, as the Spirit is who is able to wake up your dad, not you. Remember...

We all desire the salvation of our family. However, not all family members will be saved, and in the mean time, we will experience resistance from family. Expect it, and rememeber to simply sow the seed, and have faith it will increase, but don't push. They will push back, and contentions is not edifying, so God willing, humility will reign.
