The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

I'd like to change the last few lines of my post to this -

To the true believer, walking in the Spirit ALWAYS applies!
Of course, because nobody ever sins or walks away from their faith.
Better knowledge of scripture would have told you that.
  That's unscriptural as stated above.
2  General Category / Prayer Requests / Re: Pray for me I am an targeted individual on: April 20, 2012, 12:27:05 am
i dont know if John the Baptist did something dumb. His mission in life was over, He was to be the forerunner before the Lord Jesus and then he is now in Heaven.
I don't think John the Baptist did something dumb.  He was on my list of people who did nothing to cause their circumstances.  Same for Paul.  I suppose I could rearrange what I said a little bit to look like this.-

Not referring to people in the bible - Sometimes a person does something dumb and then there are consequences. God is not going to bail us out every time or we would just do things and then expect God to fix it. Look at Samson.

Not dumb, but he did cause his circumstances - He told Delilah his weakness and ended up getting his eyes put out.

Not dumb, did not cause their circumstances  - The following people did nothing to cause their circumstances, but bad things did happen to them. Look at Paul, he spent the latter part of his life in jail. One of the apostles got stoned to death. Job lost his children. Rachel lost her children when Herod killed the children under two. John the baptist lost his head.

All the bad stuff happening to You is because Satan hates You and his workers are doing what they can to try to discourage
I used to be a lot more outspoken for the Lord.  But this little dose of horror has stopped all that.

You, they wouldn't target You if You weren't a threat to them.
That's what the preachers say, right?  If you're not bothered by the devil, somethings wrong with your walk.

However as a Christian the Christian has Power from God and can overcome difficulties
I know, I've been on the receiving end of God's power.   Sometimes though life is not always good for the christian.  Sure we have people pray for us for our sickness, and if we don't get healed, we go to the doctor. I'm sure christians have to get radiation for cancer.  We have to go through things, unfortunately.

No, male, and the name is Hawaiian for Chris.
Cool.

What you speak of is chastening and tribulation from straying from walking in the Spirit. If a person goes straying into the world, they should expect to get smacked around by the world
even after
they come to their senses and get back in the Spirit.
As an example, lets say a christian strays from the Lord and ****s their house away.  A few weeks later, the christian sees the error of their ways and asks the Lord for forgiveness.  The house is still gone.  The person has to fix and live with this error.  The Lord is just not going to drop a new house from the sky for this person.

My understanding
    of?
is based on scripture, not personal ideas.
What are you referring to?  What you said earlier?
What you guys are discussing is not doctrinal
This isn't a discussion though.  This started as a prayer request by someone else.  I added the same prayer request and then Christian40 asked a little about the situation.  So, we weren't talking about doctrine or the bible, but rather about my situation and what was happening.

sorry.
I appreciate the gesture of kindness there.
A christian cannot be possesed
That's not mentioned anywhere in this thread.  Maybe you assumed that?
I'm sorry,
  again, appreciate the kindness there
what you guys are talking about is nonsense,
Are you saying what happens to me and the poster who started this thread and Mark's friend is nonsense?  Nonsense?  Are you trying to say I'm a liar?  If not, what do you mean by nonsense?
new age stuff
It may sound that way, but it's not.
it is my job to make sure this forum stays in line with sound doctrine
So only scriptural problems can be prayed for and discussed?  I don't what's more scriptural than evil spirits.  Jesus did a lot of chasing them away.  That's doctrinal.
I'm not your enemy
  I know it.
if so be that Christ dwells in you
  Thank God He does!
But I do have a responsibility to the site
To squelch discussion you have miscategorized?  If a beleiver asks for prayer on something, who is anyone to disbeleive that?  Or to say that person is walking in the flesh?!  This phenomena is more like a haunting.  Is the moderator position to be intolerant of what actually goes on in people's lives because they can't understand it?

To the true believer, walking in the Spirit ALWAYS applies!
To what does thie refer to though?  Yes, walking in the Spirit is the way to go.  What were you referring to?
Better knowledge of scripture would have told you that.
  Would have told me what?

What's unscriptural is that I seem to be hearing there that no one should sin.

When I quoted Mark and posted my answer/question, Tennis Shoe's post wasn't there.  Is it possible that Tennis Shoe started the post (April 18 11:43pm) before I did (today, April 19 12:59 a.m.) but didn't post it until after I did?  So what I'm saying is, could Tennis Shoe have started to write a post but didn't post it until later.  Is that what would give her the earlier post time even though she hadn't posted it yet?

I thought I learned in Social Studies that the U.S. was a democracy.  I do believe you, though.  I'm sure if we took a vote on this forum, no one but you knew that the U.S. was a constitutional republic.  It's nice to be smart!  The Lord has blessed you with that quality.  I know that all the latest homeland security laws to fight the war on terror are Unconstitutional.  The ones that listen in on everybody's communications and that can detain somebody forever with no lawyer.  And what's the latest one.  Killing is now authorized.  I think Alalawi is the latest example of that.

I know someone who put some scriptures to music.  Nice song.  The lyrics are:

He has shown thee, O man
What is good and what the Lord requires of thee,
But to do justly,
and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God.

Ah, scripture songs are the Best!

Oops, got cut off and didn't get to finish that post.  I was saying, I've considered that and I could accept that more than the other possibility.

it cannot affect the true believer
Sometimes a person does something dumb and then there are consequences.  God is not going to bail us out every time or we would just do things and then expect God to fix it.  Look at Samson.  He told Delilah his weakness and ended up getting his eyes put out.  The following people did nothing to cause their circumstances, but bad things did happen to them.  Look at Paul, he spent the latter part of his life in jail.  One of the apostles got stoned to death.  Job lost his children.  Rachel lost her children when Herod killed the children under two.  John the baptist lost his head.

Quit walking after the flesh and get back in the Spirit.
I don't see how this statement applies.  This a prayer thread, I shouldn't have to defend myself.  Just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it's impossible.

But with Jesus, "there is no fear in love..."
I don't fear and I do love you my sister.  I'm guessing sister because your name ends with an a.

You cannot tell me that somebody hasn't figured out how to compromise Tor.
I know Tor has had to issue fixes in the past.  I thought currently they were bulletproof, but I see by the article you posted that wasn't the case.  Then again, law enforcement is refusing to said how they broke the case.  I could guess and say that law enforcement was also on the Tor network or perhaps they were already pursuing the drug dealers.

Actually, your already hacked from the start. It's called "cookies", and they do that legally.
Every single webmail uses cookies!  Even the ones that use encryption!  I always have cookies off.  All websites seem to be functional without cookies.  Internet users should really start referring to cookies as something else like  'required file plants'.  Cookies are sweet and delicious.  Two totally separate things!!

The vast majority of people don't have any seriously important stuff on their pc.
I have passwords, but not banking info.

I recommend that if there is anything you want to store, do it by either burning a cd, or put that data on a hard drive that is not connected to the pc, such as an external HDD.
My drives aren't working.  I once connected the wire for the cd drive, but then it stopped working.  I suppose I could use a memory stick though.  Good advice.

I would stay away from those type apps.
What type of app?  Anti-virus apps?

Personally, I'm paranoid in that I know that carnal man cannot be trusted. So, to me, these anti-virus, anti-this and that are actually in the end a trojan horse.
  Paranoid is smart.

I have never used an anti-virus application.
You must have an iron firewall!  How do you keep up with new viruses that come out?

I don't use registry cleaners either.
I don't blame you.  Registries are touchy.

Try to pay attention to the links you click, and what websites you visit.
I feel invinceable with firefox because it has an extension called 'no scrpts'.  Nothing can run on the computer unless I give it permission.  Do you think I'm safe?

Once you learn key words, you can start to single out the suspect websites and bogus claims.
I've clicked on a few of those and they can really ruin a computer. The worst part is by the time it's all fixed, you forgot what website did it.

And I'm with you, I don't want a file either. However, we already have one, and we are already on their "list".
I wonder if christians have a special place on the list.

I ain't skeered! Thank you Jesus!
  Praise the Lord!

It seems that this article is taken from yours, yet it's dated October, 2011 and refers to something happening on a Monday of October.  I guess the vatican made the same statement twice.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/10/24/vatican-calls-for-new-world-economic-order/
Vatican Calls for New World Economic Order
Published October 24, 2011 / Associated Press
VATICAN CITY –  The Vatican called Monday for radical reform of the world's financial systems, including the creation of a global political authority to manage the economy.

A proposal by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace calls for a new world economic order based on ethics and the "achievement of a universal common good." It follows Pope Benedict XVI's 2009 economic encyclical that denounced a profit-at-all-cost mentality as responsible for the global financial meltdown.

The proposal acknowledges, however, that a "long road still needs to be traveled before arriving at the creation of a public authority with universal jurisdiction" and suggests the reform process begin with the United Nations as a point of reference.

Vatican pronouncements on the economy are meant to guide world leaders as well as the global church. United States Roman Catholic bishops, for example, have released a voter guide for the 2012 election that highlights social concerns such as ending poverty.

"It is an exercise of responsibility not only toward the current but above all toward future generations, so that hope for a better future and confidence in human dignity and capacity for good may never be extinguished," the document said.

It highlights that reforms must assure that financial and monetary policies will not damage the weakest economies while also achieving fair distribution of the world's wealth.

The proposal also called for a "minimum, shared body of rules to manage the global financial market," lamenting the "overall abrogation of controls" on capital movements.

While past Vatican pronouncements have condemned unfettered capitalism, the latest criticized "an economic liberalism that spurns rules and controls."

It also attacked "utilitarian thinking," saying what is useful to the individual does not always favor the common good

the author of this book said just because you are saved, it doesn't guarantee you will go to heaven.
Well. there is a few scriptures that says something to the effect of this paraphrased scripture:  narrow is the road and straight is the way and few there be that find it.

So, did Jesus go below or not?
I think so because of this scripture (paraphrased):  He became sin for us.

21  General Category / Bible Study / How long has evil been around? on: April 18, 2012, 07:21:38 pm
Would you say that evil has always been around, even before God created the earth?  Is this maybe why God created the earth - as part of a plan to overcome evil?  The believers are part of the army at Armegeddon.  We know that God is all powerful and with Him nothing is impossible.  Yet for some reason He chose to create an army to destroy evil.  What say you?
22  General Category / Bible Study / Flaming Swords in Genesis on: April 18, 2012, 07:11:56 pm

23  General Category / The Mark / Re: NAACP appeals to UN over US voter ID laws on: April 18, 2012, 06:12:43 pm
The US is a constitutional republic.
Never knew that!  I bet most people don't.
Most of the founders seriously opposed democracy as it is true mod rule where any right can be voted out so long as you have the majority.
Can you please rephrase this sentence or maybe give an example?

women in indecent clothing, violence, bad language etc the Internet is far better as i can be more selective.
I once heard in a sermon that, if we don't believe in it as a christian, not to watch it.  For example, all those shows featuring non-marrieds having sex.  Since I don't believe in that kind of lifestyle, I'm certainly not going to support the show by watching it.  Occasionally, someone will mention how funny a show is.  So I tune in to it to see, and it sure is funny.  Unfortunately, the lifestyles depicted in the show forced me not watch it.  I was a little sad, because I'm missing a funny show, yet glad I'm saved by the blood!  I'll find something more suitable.

And there we have the world tie-in. Different names in each country but they are all getting it, and of course tehy can link together, so if you don't have the documentation, already, theoretically, you can be banned from travel anywhere on earth. One step more by adding a link to an international consumer purchasing system, and overnight, your blocked from society from buying and selling.
I'm impressed.  I never would have thought of that.

Historical accounts have Jesus's birth at September
This reminded me of something I saw that showed through the stars and constellations how the wise men knew Jesus was born and I think maybe it mentioned September as Jesus' birth.
