There are many ways to fast. For some people to go without any food at all for 3 days would be a disaster on their health. But they can fast and do without desserts for three days or you can just go on a fruit diet for three days, or just a juice diet for 3 days or maybe no meat for 3 days. It all depends on what the Lord wants for you. I did a fast for three days (for health reasons) with 6 oz. fresh made apple juice every hour. On the half hour in between I drank 6 oz fresh carrot juice. So I was drinking something every 30 minutes. I felt great--doing this maintained my electrolytes and my mind was very clear and yet I was fasting! Pray about it and then pick the one for you.
