Russia Warns US Any Strikes On Syrian Army Would Lead To War: "Our S-300, S-400 Defenses Are Up And Running"

Yesterday morning we reported that in immediate retaliation for the US threat that the Pentagon may launch air strikes against the Assad regime in the latest and most dramatic escalation in the Syrian proxy war in years, Russia's Defense Ministry said that a battery of Russian S-300 air defense missile launchers has been transported to Syria. As Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said, “the Syrian Arab Republic received an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. This system is designed to ensure the safety of the naval base in [Syrian city of] Tartus and ships located in the coastal area [in Syria]…”

Then, in an amusing twist, Konashenkov said it is unclear why the deployment of the missile system has created such a fuss in the West. "The S-300 is a purely defensive system and poses no threat,” he said.

To which we said that "of course, a defense system is precisely what the Pentagon would prefer to avoid in case an offensive attack was launched."

Today, Russia confirmed that the deployment of the Surface-to-Air missile battery was clearly aimed at containing US offensive ambitions, when the Defense Ministry cautioned the US-led coalition of carrying out airstrikes on Syrian army positions, adding in Syria there are "numerous S-300 and S-400 air defense systems up and running", as cited by RT.

Russia & China Combining Forces in Syria

The Russians are preparing to win World War III. They have presently evacuated 40 million Russians who have been transported to a bunker in an effort to practice to survive and an American nuclear strike.

Meanwhile, what has Obama done to protect the lives of American citizens? The answer is that he hate America/Americans and will not lift a finger to save even one American. This is why we have no bunkers.

Hillary Clinton has promised to enforce a no-fly zone in Syria. This means certain war. John Kerry has threatened to send terrorists to destroy Russian cities. Defense Secretary, Ashton Carter, has stated that our children will live in a world that is a burned out cinder. As if Russia needed more provocation to launch a first strike against America, there are four reasons why Putin will do exactly that and all four reasons relate to Syria.

World War III Will Begin In Syria

I have read very little about the underlying motivations for what is occurring in this volatile part of the world. This article identifies the four major reasons which underlies the Russian military presence in Syria.

Russia is Protecting Its Only Middle East Allies

ISIS is a CIA creation. As former Army Special Operations Officer, Scott Bennett states, “ISIS was a CIA creation, supplied by illegally-left-behind military equipment in Iraq”. According to Bennett, ISIS is funded by CIA sponsored, covert Swiss bank accounts. ISIS’ purpose was to eventually bleed over into Syria, where they would help ferment the collapse of the Assad regime. Once Syria had been toppled, Iran would be invaded and the Federal Reserve’s Petrodollar would be saved. Conversely, Syria and Iran are Russia’s only path into the Middle East. Subsequently, Putin has very cleverly turned the tables on the CIA strategy to use ISIS to topple Syria and this has provided Russia with a pretext to have a military presence in the region.

Russia is Leading the Charge Away from the Petrodollar

The BRICS have attacked the sacred Federal Reserve by undermining the Petrodollar.

At the beginning of the of the Syria/Iran crisis, all of the world’s nations used the dollar as the world’s reserve currency except for IRAN and SYRIA. So long as the world used the dollar as a prerequisite to purchase oil, the nations of the world would always prove to be subservient to the United States and its “Petrodollar”. The Federal Reserve dollar has been the world’s reserve currency since 1944. It provides the only backing for the dollar. Without the dollar being on World Reserve currency status, the dollar would hyper-inflate and crash in a very short amount of time. The lives of average Americans would be over as they have known it.

There have been past attempts to abandon the practice of purchasing Iraqi oil without first going through the Federal Reserve to purchase the Petrodollar. In the early 1990’s, France and Germany attempted to use the Euro to “quietly purchase” oil from Iraq. Iraq was invaded by the United States. When history repeated itself, Iraq was invaded again, and Saddam Hussein was executed. When Libya did not play ball with the Central banks over much of the same issue, it was invaded and Gadhafi was executed. Going back in history, Abraham Lincoln was executed for similar reasons. When JFK printed silver certificates in an attempt to bypass the Federal Reserve, he was also executed. Putin is standing tall in opposition to this trend. At the end of the day, he too, will be executed or assassinated once he has fulfilled his purpose.

While growing weary of paying higher prices for oil in order to prop up the Petrodollar, Russia, under Putin, led a bold charge away from the world reserve status of the dollar. Iran and Syria began to sell its oil for gold. India, Brazil, South Africa and most of all, China joined the revolution against the dollar and the BRICS were formed. The US postured to invade Iran under the pretense that Iran was developing nuclear weapons. Russia and China both threatened to nuke the United States and Obama backed down. All of this adds up to the death of the dollar and ultimately, World War III.

These events have resulted in Putin taking away the moral high ground from the United States and have paralyzed US military policy in the Middle East. As a result, the dollar now has a date with destiny. Putin’s actions are leaving the Federal Reserve without backing for the dollar. With a $19 trillion dollar deficit, a $240 trillion dollar unfunded and mandated liabilities (e.g. Social Security, Medicare, etc.) and a whopping $1.5 quadrillion dollar credit swap derivatives debt, the dollar, after losing much of its former Petrodollar status, is the on the verge of collapse and it could happen any day.

Russia Is Preparing to Invade the Middle East

Russia’s excuse to eradicate ISIS on the pretense of saving the Assad regime of Syria, has provided Russia with a means to build a military base of operations in Syria and serves to provide a path in which they can invade US-friendly Middle East partner oil-rich nations who are promoting the continuance of the Petrodollar. Quite frankly, I am surprised that the United States, under Federal Reserve Board leadership, has not already launched a nuclear first strike. I fear that day is coming. The Federal Reserve will not go down without a fight. The Russian counter strategy is to occupy as many parts of the world as possible, thus, making it impossible for the US to effectively counter the BRICS economic war upon the Petrodollar.

All the World Is a Stage and Putin is the Leading Man

Putin is ex-KGB. As a result, following the collapse of the former Soviet Union, the KGB morphed into the Russian mafia and ruthlessly controlled Russian politics, media and much of its foreign policy. The Russian mafia was a brutal entity. In short, Putin is a thug, a KGB Mafioso thug who has brutally murdered tens of thousands of his own people. The fools that engage in worshipping Putin are very misguided. The only reason that Putin enjoys rock star status among some misinformed Americans is because he publicly espouses the beliefs of Russian people, which also represents mainstream middle class American values. Putin is openly anti-gay, while the White House displays the colors of the rainbow after the Supreme Court’s ruling on gay marriage. Putin has banned GMO’s, while Congress blocks any legitimate control over Monsatan, and Putin has told the Bank of International Settlements (BIS) where to go, while Obama is their lap dog. Putin is actually arrogant enough and enough of a demagogue to believe that he can overcome the satanically inspired banking forces on the planet. Eventually, Putin will suffer the same fate as Saddam Hussein.

And the News Only Gets Worse

Today it was announced that Russia on Wednesday turned to Twitter to justify its deployment of advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Syria. Russia is ready and the US is not!!

Also, who can forget this report in which it was detailed that the Chinese military is executing a military build up in Syria. All roads may lead to Rome and the all roads to war lead to Damascus. It is Biblical and it is almost upon us.

Conclusion

Short of divine intervention, World War III is a foregone conclusion. Each and any of these four reasons will culminate in the final date with destiny. and is if these reasons were not enough, the American establishment keeps poking the proverbial stick in the eye of Russia.

In short, Putin is being used by the BIS to move the planet toward World War III. The BIS wants World War III in order to promote order out of chaos. They want a war of political and economic unification. Putin is their unwitting accomplice to this end. At the end of the day, Putin, like Obama, will lead their respective nations to total annihilation and the final version of the New World Order will be upon us.

While I do agree that war is coming, Dave Hodges does have a habit of "fear mongering".

We need to pray that people get awake and let Jesus be their savior. That should be our priority.

Russia says U.S. actions threaten its national security

In an interview with Russian state TV likely to worsen already poor relations with Washington, Lavrov made it clear he blamed the Obama administration for what he described as a sharp deterioration in U.S.-Russia ties. "We have witnessed a fundamental change of circumstances when it comes to the aggressive Russophobia that now lies at the heart of U.S. policy towards Russia,"

Russia vetoes U.N. demand for end to bombing of Syria's Aleppo

Russia vetoed a French-drafted U.N. Security Council resolution on Saturday that would have demanded an end to air strikes and military flights over Syria's city of Aleppo, while a rival Russian draft text failed to get a minimum nine votes in favor.

Russia 'Understands the Direction That Washington Wants Syrian War to Go'

Policymakers in the United States have never been intent on degrading and destroying terrorist groups fighting in Syria, international relations analyst Salman Rafi Sheikh wrote for New Eastern Outlook, adding that Washington's primary goal has remained to remove President Bashar al-Assad from power and Russia is aware of this.

Salman Rafi Sheikh turned to recent developments to support his assertions. He pointed to the Pentagon's attack on the Syrian Arab Army's base in the city of Deir ez-Zor that put an end to the fragile ceasefire sponsored by Russia and the US as evidence that Washington wants to escalate violence in the war-torn country, particularly Aleppo.

"The new Russia-Syria offensive on Aleppo now, at this particular stage, has the potential to decisively turn the tide of events to their advantage, which would imply a clear defeat for the US, its allies and their jointly-backed proxy groups," he said.

Experts agree that the outcome of the battle for Aleppo could well determine the outcome of the Syrian conflict as a whole. Since US-backed rebels appear to be losing in Aleppo, Washington, according to the analyst, has come to the conclusion that only escalation "can salvage the US and its allies on the ground."
In addition, the US and its allies have engaged in a smear campaign against Moscow and Damascus for their counterterrorism efforts in Aleppo, the analyst added.

Washington is trying to "project Russia and Syria as essentially 'villains' and force them into taking actions that would presumably invite more criticism and, if need be, violence," he explained. "By projecting Russia and Syria as 'brutal,' the US is creating a justification for pumping more jihadi fighters into Syria, sending more weapons and then painting this situation as yet another uprising against Assad's 'brutality.'"

Salman Rafi Sheikh maintained that "Russia understands the direction the US is wanting the war to go to." The analyst warned Moscow against falling "prey to deliberate provocation," but noted that "a measured response" to the US' activities is "a strategic necessity."

The analyst further pointed out that the US will refrain from launching a large-scale ground operation in Syria since President Barack Obama's term will end in four months and the US Congress is highly unlikely to authorize such an operation.

Nuclear War Is On The Horizon: "This Is Not Just Talk... Action Has Been Taken"

As the U.S. elections draw nearer, the amount of bellicose rhetoric from politicians and key military commanders (in truth, “politicians” as well) has been increasing.  The main focus of that rhetoric has been directed toward Russia, and is also “blathered” in the direction of China, North Korea, and Iran when it suits U.S. political interests.  The problem is that all of it is not just talk: action has been taken, especially regarding Russia and the Syrian theatre of operations.

Within the past several weeks, the U.S. has bombed Syrian troops, killing 62 outside of Deor ez-Zor in airstrikes and then admitting to doing so “mistakenly.”  The Russians responded by firing up a UN/coalition convoy almost immediately after.  Russian naval artillery then took out a command post with approximately 30 “coalition” officers, some of them being Americans.  The U.S. then made itself responsible (indirectly) for an attack on the Russian Embassy in Damascus, Syria: anti-Assad Islamic militants did the job, and these have support with funding and materials of the U.S.

These “cat-and-mouse” exchanges have not been new by any means, as evidenced by the aerial “Top-Gun” provocative fly-by’s that have been occurring all year long, in Syria as well as in Eastern Europe.  The U.S. has retracted the cease fire agreement and suspended all operations and discussions with Russia pertaining to Syria.  What is new is the level that the rhetoric has reached…rhetoric that is no longer rhetorical but actually constitutes direct threats against Russia.

On September 29, 2016 the Washington Post reported these words from U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter:

“Across the Atlantic, we’re refreshing NATO’s nuclear playbook – to better integrate conventional and nuclear deterrence, to ensure we plan and train like we’d fight, and to deter Russia from thinking it can benefit from a nuclear use in a conflict with NATO.”

x
The irony of that statement is evident.  While the U.S. emplaces missile batteries in Germany, Romania, and Moldova, Russia has not responded by placing missiles in either Cuba or Venezuela, two countries she holds strong ties with both militarily and economically.  Carter champions deterrence while simultaneously works to increase U.S. nuclear and conventional buildups in Eastern Europe.  But it doesn’t stop there with his words.  This was reported by George Ourfalian of AFP in an article entitled US Using Syrian Crisis to ‘Wage a Surrogate War’ Against Russia, on October 4, 2016:

“US State Department spokesman John Kirby has made strong statements regarding Russia’s involvement in Syria, claiming that if Russia will not cooperate with the US, Moscow will keep sending troops home in body bags.”
Strong words, and quite bellicose originating with a State Department spokesman completely removed from harm’s way.  Then this came out today, the date of this writing on October 5th as reported by Alex Jones’ Prison Planet:

“I want to be clear to those who wish to do us harm…. the United States military – despite all of our challenges, despite our [operational] tempo, despite everything we have been doing – we will stop you and we will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before. Make no mistake about that.”
General Mark Milley, U.S. Army Chief of Staff
Milley was directing these words toward Russia.  He went on to describe the next coming war, as such:

“[The next war will] be highly lethal, unlike anything our Army has experienced at least since World War II,” and would involve fighting in “highly populated urban areas.”
Did the General mean overseas, or in the United States?  The Russians are currently (until the 7th of October) conducting nuclear evacuation drills involving over 40 million people.  Everyone from Putin and his general staff to local Moscow reporters believe that a nuclear war started by the United States is just on the horizon.  Just this week, Putin shelved an agreement between Russia and the U.S. to reduce the amount of Plutonium that can be converted into nuclear warheads.

That agreement had been forthcoming since Obama initiated it in 2012, but Putin was straightforward in his reasoning behind cancelling things on Russia’s end from PrepBlog on 10/3/16 that because of U.S. belligerence, Russia needs:

“…urgent measures to defend the security of the Russian Federation.”
Putin and the Russian people believe the U.S.’s actions are going to lead to a nuclear conflict initiated by the United States.  The leadership of the U.S. is made up of politicians who began their careers as Marxist-Socialists.  Traitors now have their fingers on the triggers of the nuclear warheads, aided by “yes-men” of the general staffs who will not remember their oaths to the Constitution of the United States and the American people.  They will ignore that these charges take precedence above any orders given by a petty, dope-smoking, Marxist community organizer of dubious citizenship who was “emplaced” into office to destroy the country.

Instead of statesmen and diplomats, we now have self-interested, politically-motivated belligerents backing Russia and other nations into corners and pushing them toward war.  How long the war of words will be continued is unknown; however, when the missiles begin to fly you can be certain of something.  You can rest assured that the men who spoke those words will be in bunkers and other safe places and out of harm’s way…paid for by the American taxpayer.

War Drums: British Pilots Given 'Shoot to Kill' Order Over Syria

The situation in Syria has become even more tenuous between Russia and the U.S. and its allies.

Tuesday, the Russian Federation ordered its personnel overseas to transport all family members "back to the Motherland." Then, The International Business Times British pilots had been given a new standing order to shoot down any "hostile" Russian aircraft over Syria.

Such an act could potentially trigger a much bigger conflict:

RAF Tornado pilots have been instructed to avoid contact with Russian aircraft while engaged in missions for Operation Shader—the codename for the RAF's anti-Isis work in Iraq and Syria. But their aircraft have been armed with air-to-air missiles and the pilots have been given the green light to defend themselves if they are threatened by Russian pilots.

"The first thing a British pilot will do is to try to avoid a situation where an air-to-air attack is likely to occur—you avoid an area if there is Russian activity," an unidentified source from the U.K.'s Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) told the Sunday Times. "But if a pilot is fired on or believes he is about to be fired on, he can defend himself. We now have a situation where a single pilot, irrespective of nationality, can have a strategic impact on future events."

The RAF Tornados aircraft will be armed with heat-seeking Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles (Asraams, also called AIM-132 missiles). These weapons, which cost £200,000 each, can reach triple the speed of sound and have a longer range than other air-to-air missiles, allowing RAF pilots to shoot down enemy aircraft without being targeted themselves.

Previously, the British aircraft were not armed with air-to-air weapons and instead focused their payloads almost exclusively on bombing ordinance. The report quotes an unnamed Ministry of Defense official as saying, "It will only take one plane to be shot down in an air-to-air battle and the whole landscape will change."

U.S., Britain considering new sanctions on Russia, Syria

With military options all but eliminated, the United States and Britain on Sunday said they were considering new sanctions to pressure the Syrian and Russian governments to halt an offensive against rebel-held parts of Aleppo, Syria’s largest city.

While the close allies said diplomacy was their primary focus, the tone was tougher than Saturday’s message from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry after he launched a new diplomatic effort to resolve the more than 5-year civil war in Syria.

But the threats brandished Sunday - from harsher economic penalties to international prosecution for alleged perpetrators of war crimes - weren’t new.

“It’s easy to say, ‘Where is the action?’” Kerry said. “But what is the action?”

“I haven’t seen a big appetite from governments in Europe to declare war,” he noted dryly after talks in London that included diplomats from France, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and the European Union. All oppose Syrian President Bashar Assad’s long-term control over his country and all are angry over a year-old Russian military intervention that has contributed to thousands of deaths and harrowing scenes of destruction in Aleppo.

US says it may have struck Syrian troops while targeting IS

While carrying out a raid the U.S. military says it might have unintentionally hit Syrian troops while targeting the Islamic State group
The U.S. halted its strike when Russian officials said the U.S. might have hit a part of the Syrian military
The Syrian army told the Russian military at least 62 soldiers are dead
It also said more than 100 soldiers were wounded in the air strike
If confirmed, the strike will mark the first known direct raid on Syrian president Bashar Assad's military forces
The strike could damage a fragile U.S. and Russian-brokered cease-fire that has held for five days despite many alleged violations on both sides
Earlier on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin questioned the U.S. commitment to cease-fire

The U.S. military may have accidentally struck Syrian army soldiers while attempting to carry out an air strike on ISIS, it said on Saturday.

If confirmed, the strike would mark the first known direct American hit on President Bashar Assad's forces in the country's five-year civil war.

Russia's military said it was told by the Syrian army that at least 62 soldiers were killed in the air raid and more than 100 wounded.

U.S. Central Command said the strike was immediately halted 'when coalition officials were informed by Russian officials that it was possible the personnel and vehicles targeted were part of the Syrian military'.

The Syrian military said the airstrike hit a base in the eastern city of Deir el-Zour that is surrounded by ISIS, allowing the extremists to advance.

Russian, US jets had near miss over Syria: US officials

A Russian fighter flew dangerously close to a US warplane over eastern Syria, US defence officials said Friday, highlighting the risks of a serious mishap in the increasingly crowded airspace.

The near miss occurred late on October 17, when a Russian jet that was escorting a larger spy plane manoeuvred in the vicinity of an American warplane, Air Force Lieutenant General Jeff Harrigian said.

The Russian jet came to "inside of half a mile", he added.

Another US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity , said the American pilot could feel the turbulence produced by the Russian jet's engines.

"It was close enough you could feel the jet wash of the plane passing by," the official said.

It appeared the Russian pilot had simply not seen the US jet, as it was dark and the planes were flying without lights.

"I would attribute it to not having the necessary situational awareness given all those platforms operating together," Harrigian said.

The incident raises serious questions about the extent to which pilots are able to track the complex airspace they operate in.

The US-led coalition has set up a hotline with Russian counterparts so the different militaries can discuss the approximate locations and missions of planes, and avoid operating in the same space at the same time.

In this case, the American pilot tried unsuccessfully to reach the Russian jet via an emergency radio channel.

The next day, US officers used the hotline to ask Russia what had happened and they said "the pilot didn't see" the American plane, the official said.

Coalition spokesman Colonel John Dorrian, in a videoconference from Baghdad Friday, said the coalition did not assess the incident as "something that was done with nefarious intent".

"Therefore they've continued discussing that incident, and those deconfliction calls continued to be conducted on a daily basis," Dorrian said.

Harrigian said there had been an increase in close calls over the past six weeks, with intentional near misses -- when a Russian jet deliberately follows a coalition plane too closely -- "happening one every 10 days-ish".

Russia is flying constant air patrols over Syria, the vast majority of them over the devastated city of Aleppo, and routinely transits parts of the country the US-coalition operates in, officials said.

Russia says it has not bombed Aleppo since October 18.

The Pentagon periodically chides Russia for "unsafe and unprofessional behaviour" in air operations.

This incident was deemed unsafe, but not necessarily unprofessional, officials said.

Russia will attack the West if provoked in Syria, warns former UK ambassador to Moscow

Russia will attack the West if provoked in Syria, the UK's former ambassador in Moscow said, as he warned of "the most dangerous situation in our relations I have ever seen." It comes with relations between the West and Russia at their worst point since the Cold War.

US Presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton has backed imposing a "no fly zone" in Syria, where Russia is accused of deliberately bombing civilians, while Russian President Vladimir Putin warned of "problems" if the US continued its "confrontation" with Russia.

Sir Anthony Brenton, who served as Britain's ambassador to Russia from 2004 to 2008, said that escalating tensions could result in open conflict with Russia.

"They are behaving as toughly and aggressively as I have ever seen them," Brenton wrote in the Daily Mirror.

"If we act on Syria in any way that could escalate to a Russian attack, they are signalling as clearly as they can that they would retaliate."

In recent weeks the US and UK have fiercely condemned Russia's bombing campaign in Syria, accusing Russian forces of committing war crimes and deliberately targeting schools, hospitals, and an aid convoy. Moscow denied the claims.

Russia recently revealed that it has deployed nuclear capable missiles to its Baltic enclave in Kaliningrad, and completed a week long nuclear war exercise reportedly involving 40 million civilians. It has also cancelled a weapons grade plutonium agreement with the US, and unveiled the new Satan II intercontinental ballistic missile, capable of obliterating an area the size of France.

In response Nato has deployed 4,000 troops in eastern Europe and the Baltics.

Brenton, who has dealt with Russia for more than 20 years in the Foreign Office, said that though Russia "means business" it is "weak" and called for a diplomatic resolution to the tensions.

"They do not want war. They would lose. These shows of strength are not an intention to fight, but a signal that fighting must be avoided," he said.

On Thursday, Putin dismissed claims that Russia posed an increased threat, declaring "Russia doesn't plan to attack anyone."

Brenton described Putin as "hard-headed, well-briefed and ruthless," and warned that "for Russia backing down is now close to impossible. The loss of face would almost certainly be the end of Putin."

Russia's Admiral Kuznetsov Aircraft Carrier Begins Combat Operations in Syria

Russian Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft-carrying cruiser has begun combat operations in Syria, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday. "Today, we started a major operation to launch massive strikes on Daesh and al-Nusra Front targets in the Idlib and Homs provinces [in Syria]," Shoigu said at Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with the ministry’s leadership and defense enterprises.

Turkey Has Declared War On Syria – Does This Mean That World War 3 Is About To Erupt In The Middle East?

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has just announced that the only reason Turkish military forces have entered northern Syria is to “end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad”.  By publicly proclaiming that Turkey intends to use military force to overthrow the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Erdogan has essentially declared war on the Syrian government.  Of course this puts a member of NATO in direct military conflict with Russia, since Russia is working very hard to prop up the Assad regime.  If all-out war breaks out between Turkey and Russia, could that be the spark that causes World War 3 to erupt in the Middle East?  And once Turkey and Russia start fighting, would the United States and the rest of NATO be dragged into the conflict?

The big mainstream news networks in the western world are almost completely ignoring what Erdogan said on Tuesday, but without a doubt this is major news.  The following comes from a Turkish news source…

The Turkish military launched its operations in Syria to end the rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Nov. 29.

“In my estimation, nearly 1 million people have died in Syria. These deaths are still continuing without exception for children, women and men. Where is the United Nations? What is it doing? Is it in Iraq? No. We preached patience but could not endure in the end and had to enter Syria together with the Free Syrian Army [FSA],” Erdoğan said at the first Inter-Parliamentary Jerusalem Platform Symposium in Istanbul.

Turkish military forces initially invaded northern Syria on August 24th, and at the time we were all told that the purpose of the invasion was to “fight ISIS”, but now Erdogan is telling us something completely different.

Breitbart is one of the few U.S. news outlets that is reporting on this story, and I want you to read the following quotes from Erdogan that come from a Breitbart article that was posted on Tuesday very, very carefully…

“Why did we enter? We do not have an eye on Syrian soil. The issue is to provide lands to their real owners. That is to say we are there for the establishment of justice. We entered there to end the rule of the tyrant al-Assad who terrorizes with state terror,” Erdogan continued, insisting his forces were not in Syria for “any other reason.”

The Daily Sabah notes that Erdogan spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin about Syria during two telephone calls last week. Since Russia launched a massive military operation to secure Bashar Assad in power, Putin would presumably have been interested in anything Erdogan had to say about toppling the regime in Damascus, and probably would not have kept quiet about it.

If the Turkish military is only in Syria to end the Assad regime, then presumably they will stay there until the job is done.

And this puts Turkey into a direct military conflict with Russia, Iran and Hezbollah since all three of them are already fighting very hard to help the Assad regime.

Of course there is another reason why Turkey is in northern Syria, and that is to fight the Kurds.  In fact, the Kurds and Turkey are both rushing to capture a little city northeast of Aleppo called al-Bab which is currently controlled by the Islamic State…

Their immediate challenge is securing al-Bab, an Islamic State-held city northeast of Aleppo which Kurdish-led fighters are racing to take, and which lies close to the front lines of Assad’s allies.

Turkish-backed forces have made rapid gains since August, but largely through less heavily populated areas. Urban warfare around al-Bab is already taking a heavier toll. Five Turkish soldiers have been killed in the past week alone, three of them in a suspected Syrian government air strike.

“Right now the question is whether Russia will allow Turkey to seize al-Bab,” said the Muntasir Billah Brigade official.

But most people in the western world don’t know that Turkish soldiers are already dying in Syria.

Here in the United States, tens of millions of Americans are hailing a new era of “peace and prosperity” now that Donald Trump has won the election, but the truth is that one false move in Syria could easily raise tensions between the United States and Russia to the highest level that we have seen since the Cuban missile crisis back in the 1960s.

If Erdogan would have just stayed out of Syria we wouldn’t be in such a precarious situation.  Unfortunately, the president of Turkey is a narcissistic lunatic, and he dreams of a day when the old Ottoman Empire will once again be restored.

But his delusions of greatness threaten to make the Middle East even more unstable than it already has been.  In addition to his remarks above, on Tuesday Erdogan also called on all Muslims globally “to embrace the Palestinian cause and protect Jerusalem”…

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged Muslims to defend the Palestinian cause, striking a tough stance on Israel despite improved ties between the two nations.

The president of majority Muslim Turkey said Tuesday that “it is the common duty of all Muslims to embrace the Palestinian cause and protect Jerusalem” and that safeguarding the Al-Aqsa Mosque should not be left to children armed with nothing but stones. Located in the Old City of Jerusalem, the hilltop compound is sacred to Muslims and Jews.

Most people in the western world pay very little attention to Erdogan, but the truth is that he is a madman that is often referred to as “Turkey’s version of Adolf Hitler”.  He is extremely ambitious, extremely nationalistic, and he is a warmonger.  That is a very dangerous combination, and I believe that it is only a matter of time before he starts a major war in the Middle East.

Somebody needs to get this guy under control, but unfortunately the Obama administration has been very hesitant to confront Erdogan about his outrageous behavior.

When Erdogan openly stated that the Turkish military is in Syria to overthrow the Assad regime on Tuesday, that was like lighting a match in a room that has already been doused with propane.

He needs to immediately retract those comments, because his unique brand of lunacy has now brought us dangerously close to the start of World War 3.

Death toll rises in Aleppo – 50,000 flee in four days

A series of artillery rounds lobbed Wednesday on Syria’s eastern Aleppo district killed 26 civilians, including seven children, as they fled a government ground offensive in the besieged enclave.

It was the second time the Jub al-Quba neighborhood, in the historic district of the rebel-held eastern side of the city, was struck in as many days.

An airstrike Tuesday blamed by activists on the government killed 25 civilians in the same area. They were also believed to be newly displaced from the government onslaught on the northern parts of eastern Aleppo.

Meanwhile, eight civilians, including two children, were killed in shelling on the government-held western side of the city, according to state media. The government blamed rebels for the attack.

The embattled opposition fighters clashed heavily on the southern edge of the enclave with government-allied troops, who made new gains in the government offensive that has cleaved the rebel-held part of the city.

The Syrian government pushed its way into the 45-square kilometer (17 square miles) rebel-held enclave over the weekend, making its first territorial gain in the area seized by the opposition fighters since 2012.

Government officials say they want to “liberate” the area, calling the opposition fighters “terrorists”, and accusing them of holding civilians there hostage.
Tens of thousands of people have been displaced in Aleppo as pro-government Syrian forces press on with their campaign to reclaim the divided city.

The Observatory said more than 50,000 out of an estimated quarter-million inhabitants have been displaced by attacks on rebel-held eastern Aleppo over the past 4 days. Many of them fled to safer ground in areas under government or Kurdish control. The International Committee of the Red Cross says around 20,000 people have fled.

WikiLeaks Reveals Sinister Relations between Erdogan’s Family and ISIS

The connection of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan΄s family with the oil smuggling of the ISIS terrorist group has been revealed after WikiLeaks leaked emails from the Turkish energy minister, and Erdoğan΄s son-in-law, Berat Albayrak.

Whistleblowing website WikiLeaks on Monday published a 57,934-email archive of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s son-in-law Berat Albayrak, who is also the country’s energy minister.

According to a report covered by Khabar Online in Farsi, Albayrak’s emails seem to confirm the not-so-recent accusations, since the energy minister is appealing to be the “unofficial” owner of the oil company Powertrance which is importing oil from the ISIS-held territories in Northern Iraq to Turkey.

In late September 2015, a Turkish Marxist hacking organization, Red Hack, claimed that it has access to almost 20 gigabyte of data from Albayrak’s personal email accounts.

Information and articles regarding the email’s content began to go online; however, the Turkish justice system decided against the publication and reproduction of the emails, thus implying their authenticity.

The newest accusations that the Turkish government – and, specifically, members of Erdogan’s family – has an active role in the oil smuggling from areas that are controlled by the ISIS, were between the most important subjects that were temporarily released. The leaking of all the emails from the Turkish energy minister by WikiLeaks seem to confirm these allegations.

Here is the searchable archive of Albayrak’s emails

‘A Complete Meltdown of Humanity’: Civilians Die in Fight for Eastern Aleppo
12/13/16

GENEVA — Pro-government forces retaking the eastern neighborhoods of the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo have killed at least 82 civilians, the United Nations estimated on Tuesday, in what one official called “a complete meltdown of humanity.”

The death toll, recorded in four neighborhoods — Bustan al-Qasr, al-Fardous, al-Kallaseh and al-Saleheen — included 11 women and 13 children, some shot in the streets as they attempted to flee the fighting, said Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the United Nations high commissioner for human rights, citing reports received by the world body.

Mr. Colville said pro-government forces had also reportedly entered homes and killed those they found inside, including women and children.

They also shot and killed civilians on Monday in al-Ahrar Square in al-Kallaseh, and in the Bustan al-Qasr neighborhood, he said, adding that an Iraqi militia group had been among the forces involved.

By early Monday evening, opposition groups were estimated to control just a third of a square mile of the city, Mr. Colville said, citing “deeply disturbing reports” of streets filled with bodies that could not be retrieved by residents because of the intensity of the fighting and of the fear of being shot on sight.

Pro-government television channels showed footage of Bustan al-Qasr eerily empty; its residents appeared to have fled, some going to government-controlled areas and others to the shrinking zones still held by rebels.

“Civilians have paid a brutal price during this conflict and we are filled with the deepest foreboding for those who remain in this last hellish corner of opposition-held eastern Aleppo,” Mr. Colville said.

Jens Laerke, a spokesman for the United Nations office coordinating emergency relief, reported that some 37,000 people had fled eastern Aleppo to several western areas of the city and to the surrounding countryside. Some 14,700 took refuge in collective shelters, including in a cotton factory, he said. He called the events “a complete meltdown of humanity.”

Syrian rebels, govt say new deal in works to secure Aleppo evacuation
12/17/16

A new deal is being negotiated to complete the evacuation of rebel-held areas of Syria's east Aleppo which ground to a halt on Friday after demands from pro-government forces that people also be moved out of two villages besieged by insurgents.

A Syrian rebel official and a government official said early on Saturday the evacuation of Aleppo would resume and the two Shi'ite villages would be evacuated, as well as the wounded from two towns near the Lebanese border and east Aleppo.

But sources said negotiations were still going on to finalize how the evacuations would take place and how many people would leave. By Saturday afternoon there was no sign it was being implemented, with only an hour to go before sunset.

A point of contention in talks this week has been the number of people who will be allowed to leave the Shi'ite villages of al-Foua and Kefraya in Idlib province, which are besieged by insurgents.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said thousands of cold, scared and injured people were still in east Aleppo waiting to leave. It said it had received some indications that a deal would be reached soon.

"It was agreed to resume evacuations from east Aleppo in parallel with the evacuation of (medical) cases from Kefraya and al-Foua and some cases from Zabadani and Madaya," said the government official, part of the evacuations negotiating team.

The towns of Madaya and Zabadani are blockaded by pro-government forces.

Syria army says Aleppo retaken after evacuation

Aleppo (Syria) (AFP) - The army said Thursday it has retaken full control of Syria's devastated second city Aleppo, scoring its biggest victory against opposition forces since the civil war erupted in 2011.

The announcement came after a landmark evacuation deal that put an end to a ferocious month-long offensive waged on east Aleppo by government forces and allied militia.

An army statement said the general command "announces the return of security to Aleppo after its release from terrorism and terrorists, and the departure of those who stayed there".

It came shortly after state television reported that the last convoy of four buses carrying rebels and civilians had left eastern Aleppo and arrived in the government-controlled Ramussa district south of the city.

Ahmed Qorra Ali, an official with the rebel group Ahrar al-Sham, confirmed that "the last convoy has left the rebel-controlled area".

Earlier, the Red Cross said more than 4,000 fighters had left rebel-held areas of the city in the final stages of the evacuation.

The loss of east Aleppo is the biggest blow to Syria's rebel movement in the nearly six-year conflict, which has killed more than 310,000 people.

It puts the government in control of the country's five main cities: Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Damascus, and Latakia.

- Freezing temperatures -

Syria's conflict began with anti-government protests in March 2011 but spiralled into a civil war after a brutal government crackdown on dissent.

It has drawn in proxy powers and attracted foreign jihadists, but successive attempts to negotiate a political end to the conflict have failed.

President Bashar al-Assad's victory in Aleppo is a boon for his allies in Moscow and Tehran and a defeat for the opposition's backers, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Western states.

Because of the intensity of these global rivalries -- particularly between Russia and the United States -- the international community struggled for years to respond to the bloodshed in Syria.

"The liberation of Aleppo is not only a victory for Syria but also for those who really contribute to the fight against terrorism, notably Russia and Iran," state news agency SANA quoted Assad as saying before the army announcement on Thursday.

The evacuation had been hampered by heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures.

"Overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, in one of the last stages of the evacuation, more than 4,000 fighters were evacuated in private cars, vans, and pick-ups from eastern Aleppo," said Ingy Sedky, the spokeswoman in Syria for the International Committee of the Red Cross.

She said about 34,000 people had left rebel areas of Aleppo under the evacuation plan.

The United Nations said it had deployed observers to monitor the final evacuations, under a Security Council resolution adopted on Monday.

- Pivotal moment -

Jens Laerke, spokesman for the UN humanitarian agency, said 31 staff had been assigned for monitoring at Ramussa.

"It's been a very difficult night. The weather is really harsh, and people are leaving in hundreds of private vehicles at different levels of disrepair," he told AFP.

Heavy snowfall from Wednesday, which blanketed Aleppo and the surrounding countryside, had hampered the evacuations.

"The bad weather, including heavy snow and wind, and the poor state of vehicles... mean things are moving much more slowly than expected," Sedky said.

Rebel forces, who seized east Aleppo in 2012, agreed to withdraw after a month-long army offensive that drove them from more than 90 percent of their former territory.

The deal was brokered by Russia, which launched air strikes in support of Assad's regime last year, and Turkey, which has supported some rebel groups.

As part of the Aleppo evacuation deal, it was agreed some residents would be allowed to leave Fuaa and Kafraya, two Shiite-majority villages in northwestern Syria that are under siege by the Sunni Muslim rebels.

About 1,000 people have been able to leave the villages in recent days.

The evacuation of Aleppo's rebel-held sector is a pivotal moment in a war that has triggered a major humanitarian and refugee crisis.

As well as a major strategic gain for Assad, the withdrawal has, however, given fresh impetus to international efforts to end the conflict.

Russia, Iran and Turkey agreed this week to guarantee Syria peace talks and backed expanding a ceasefire, laying down their claim as the main powerbrokers in the war.

- Powerful symbol -

Repeated attempts at peace have failed, but UN envoy Staffan de Mistura has said he hopes to convene fresh talks in Geneva in February.

Formerly the beating heart of Syria's commercial and cultural industries, Aleppo had been split since July 2012 between rebels in the east and the government in the west.

East Aleppo became a powerful symbol for Syria's opposition, which set up its own administration to run schools, electricity and water there.

Opposition fighters lobbed rockets into government-held territory, and regime forces battered the east with air strikes and artillery.

It was Moscow's military intervention in support of Assad that marked a major turning point.

Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said Thursday the Russian air force has killed 35,000 fighters in Syria since it began in September last year.

Turkey launched its own campaign in Syria in late August in support of pro-Ankara rebels, with the aim of ousting Islamic State group jihadists as well as Kurdish militia from areas near its border.

Turkish air strikes killed at least 47 civilians including 14 children on Thursday in the IS-held town of Al-Bab, which Turkish forces have been seeking to capture for weeks, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said.

The raids came a day after 14 Turkish soldiers were killed by jihadists around Al-Bab -- Ankara's biggest loss of the campaign so far.

Prime Minister Binali Yildirim vowed to press on, saying: "Turkey is in the midst of a great struggle -- our fight against terror continues both in our country and outside our borders."

Donald Trump Has Just Committed The United States To A Disastrous War In Syria

Rumors of war are percolating in Washington D.C., and if the Trump administration is not extremely careful it may find itself fighting several disastrous wars simultaneously.  Just one day after threatening North Korea with war, Donald Trump has committed to taking military action against the Assad regime in Syria.  Trump is blaming the chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib province on Tuesday on the Syrian government, and he is pledging that the United States will not just sit by and do nothing in response.  Unfortunately for all of us, military contingents from Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are mixed in among the Syrian forces, and so any strike on the Syrian military could potentially spark World War 3.

In this article, I am going to share with you several quotes from President Trump and members of his team over the past couple of days, and if you read them carefully you will see that Trump has clearly painted himself into a corner.

This first quote comes from CNN, and it is a portion of Trump’s response when he was asked about the chemical attack in Syria by a reporter…

“It crossed a lot of lines for me. When you kill innocent children, innocent babies … with a chemical gas that is so lethal that people were shocked to hear what gas it was, that crosses many, many lines — beyond a red line.“

Trump has very harshly criticized Barack Obama in the past for doing nothing in Syria once Obama’s “red line” was crossed, and so for Trump to use the exact same phrase is very meaningful.  And in his remarks about this new chemical attack, Trump once again pointed the finger at Obama for making “a blank threat”…

“I think the Obama administration had a great opportunity to solve this crisis a long time ago when he said the red line in the sand,” Trump said. “And when he didn’t cross that line after making the threat, I think that set us back a long ways not only in Syria, but in many other parts of the world, because it was a blank threat.”

But now that Trump has also accused Syria of crossing “a red line”, the only way that Trump can avoid the same kind of criticism that he was casting at Obama is to take military action.

White House spokesperson Sean Spicer underlined this point when he read a prepared statement to reporters during “an off-camera White House briefing”…

Today’s chemical attack in Syria against innocent people, including women and children, is reprehensible and cannot be ignored by the civilized world. These heinous actions by the Bashar al-Assad regime are a consequence of the past administration’s weakness and irresolution. President Obama said in 2012 that he would establish a “red line” against the use of chemical weapons and then did nothing. The United States stands with our allies across the globe to condemn this intolerable act.

And UN Ambassador Nikki Haley made it crystal clear that the Trump administration was quite prepared to “take our own action” if the UN Security Council failed to address the chemical attack in Syria…

“When the UN consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action,” she said.

Of course the UN Security Council is not going to condemn Syria, because Russia would veto any such resolution.

So the Trump administration is going to be faced with a choice.

Either they will back up their words and take military action in Syria (which would be totally disastrous), or they will be accused of making threats that turned out to be completely empty just like Obama did.

A much wiser approach would have been for the Trump administration to say that they were going to study this attack to determine who was behind it before pledging to take any action.  Because the truth is that previous “chemical attacks” that were blamed on the Assad regime have turned out to be false flags that were designed to draw the western powers into the war…

The U.N. thoroughly investigated the first 2013 attack. The U.N Commission of Inquiry’s Carla Del Ponte ultimately said the evidence indicated the attack was carried out by the Syrian rebels — not the Syrian government. Despite this, support for the Syrian rebels from the U.S. and its allies only increased, raising serious questions about Obama’s sincerity when condemning chemical attacks.

Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh found the second major attack was committed in a similar manner. Hersh found that the U.S. quite deliberately attempted to frame the evidence to justify a strike on Assad without even considering al-Nusra, a terror group with access to nerve agents that should have been a prime suspect.

And I have a feeling that this new attack is another false flag, because it wouldn’t make any sense for the Assad regime to use chemical weapons at this point.  Thanks to the assistance of Russia, Iran and Hezbollah, the Assad regime is winning the civil war, and the only thing that could possibly turn the tide now would be military intervention by the United States.

So if Assad did actually use chemical weapons against a bunch of defenseless citizens on Tuesday, it would have been the stupidest strategic move that he possibly could have made.

In any controversy such as this, you always want to ask one key question: Who benefits?

Of course the answer to that question in this case is exceedingly clear.  The radical Islamic rebels that are being backed by Saudi Arabia and Turkey will greatly benefit if they are able to draw the western powers into the war on their side.

But what would the U.S. have to gain by getting involved in such a war?

ISIS is almost totally defeated in Syria thanks to Russia, and most of the country has already been reduced to rubble at this point.  But if we did get involved a lot of Americans could end up dead, and as I will discuss in Part II of this series, there is a very real possibility that we could end up in a military conflict with Russia, Iran and Hezbollah.

Back in 2013, a much wiser Donald Trump tweeted the following…

AGAIN, TO OUR VERY FOOLISH LEADER, DO NOT ATTACK SYRIA – IF YOU DO MANY VERY BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN & FROM THAT FIGHT THE U.S. GETS NOTHING!

I could not have summed it up better myself.

Hopefully Donald Trump will take his own advice and will keep us out of a war that would be absolutely disastrous for our nation.

TRUMP LAUNCHES 50+ MISSILES AIMED AT SYRIA

U.S. Launches Missiles at Syrian Base After Chemical Weapons Attack

The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was Syria's use of banned chemical weapons that killed at least 100 people, U.S. military officials told NBC News.

Two U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea fired 59 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha'irat in Homs province in western Syria, the officials said. That's the airfield from which the United States believes the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad fired the banned weapons.

There was no immediate word on casualties. U.S. officials told NBC News that people were not targeted and that aircraft and infrastructure at the site were hit, including the runway and gas fuel pumps.

"Assad choked out the lives of helpless men, women and children," President Donald Trump said in remarks from Mar-a-Lago, his family compound in Palm Beach, Florida.

"It is in this vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons," said Trump, who called on other countries to end the bloodshed in Syria.

Trump is in Florida for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinpeng. Defense Secretary James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and national security adviser H.R. McMaster traveled to Florida with him.

Defense Secretary James Mattis, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and national security adviser H.R. McMaster traveled to Florida with Trump. In Washington, Vice President Mike Pence returned to the White House after having gone home for dinner Thursday evening.

Syrian television characterized the missile strike "as American aggression" Friday morning. But Ahrar Al Sham, the largest Syrian armed rebel group, told NBC News it "welcomes any U.S. intervention through surgical strikes that would deter the Assad regime capabilities to kill civilians and shorten the suffering of our people."

Tillerson and Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, have bluntly blamed Syria for the chemical weapons attack, whose victims included at least 25 children.

Tillerson told reporters on Thursday that "there is no doubt in our minds" that the Syrian regime was responsible for the attack. And in a combative speech at the U.N. Security Council on Wednesday, Haley warned: "When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action."

Obama Administration Official Reveals They Knew Assad Had Chemical Weapons

An official who served in the Obama administration has revealed that the administration was aware that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had access to chemical weapons.

This news emerged after forces of Assad dropped deadly chemical weapons on Syrian civilians in the town of Khan Sheikhoun last Tuesday. More than 80 people were killed in the attack, including at least 10 children.

In response to the attack, President Trump approved the launch of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles targeting a Syrian airbase.

Now, the situation in Syria and the U.S.’s involvement is complicated by the fact that the Obama administration allegedly had knowledge that Assad still had chemical weapons, despite what the administration had told the public.

"We always knew we had not gotten everything, that the Syrians had not been fully forthcoming in their declaration," Tony Blinken, a former deputy secretary of state and former deputy national security adviser under Barack Obama, told the New York Times, as reported by the Washington Examiner.

John Kerry, Secretary of State in the Obama administration, had praised an agreement the U.S. made with Syria in 2013 that purportedly ensured Assad did not have access to chemical weapons. Kerry even said in 2014 that the agreement ensured Syria had gotten rid of “100 percent” of its chemical weapons.

Many have criticized the administration for this apparent dishonesty, but others maintain that the blame rests with Assad who they say did not disclose all relevant information to the U.S.

ISIS Abandons Syria!

The Islamic State has set their new sights on the Philippines after they lost ground in Syria and Iraq.

From NBC News:

A video released by ISIS asks would-be fighters to go to the Philippines instead of Syria and Iraq, the latest sign that the terror group is shifting its recruiting tactics as it loses ground to coalition forces in the Middle East.

The seven-minute, English-language video, released by the official ISIS media operation late last month, includes messages from several fighters in the Southern Philippines, and scenes from battles with government troops near the city of Marawi, including the pillaging of a Catholic church.

One of the fighters calls on Muslims in "East Asia, specifically those in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, and Singapore" to migrate and fight alongside the ISIS-linked militants in the Philippines.

A militant identified as "Abul-Yamaan from Marawi" proclaims: "Come forth to the land of jihad. Perform hijrah. Come forth to … Marawi."

BREAKING: Israel Bombs Syria!
9/22/17

Israel has bombed Syria after Syrian missile defenses fired on an Israeli aircraft.

From Zerohedge:

For the third time in as many weeks Israel has reportedly bombed positions inside Syria. Syrian state media along with multiple regional outlets showed fires burning at a facility near the Damascus international airport in the early hours of Friday. Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports that like with previous attacks, Israel jets fired from over Lebanese airspace. But it appears the latest exchange was part of a tit-for-tat exchange of fire between Syria and Israel in a situation that continues to dangerously escalate.

Multiple reports are circulating that the Israeli attack was initiated after Syria's aerial defense missile system engaged and fired on an Israeli aircraft in the area. Video of what purports to show Syrian missiles firing on the aircraft circulated widely in Syrian social media and was picked up by Lebanese and Israeli news outlets. Early reports indicate that an Israeli drone was likely the target.

US Warns As Russia, Iran And Turkey Hold Trilateral Summit To Support Assad’s Plan To Launch Assault On Idlib In Syria

The trilateral summit in Tehran involving Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan puts further pressure on the rebel forces still operating in Syria’s northwestern Idlib province, including about 10,000 hard-core jihadists and al-Qaida-linked fighters.

In her remarks at the U.N. Security Council, Haley said the U.S. has been clear with Russia and other nations that “we consider any assault on Idlib to be a dangerous escalation of the conflict in Syria.”

The nothing-burger of the farcical Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings this week have driven real stories like this one to the background, but what an important story it is. For Iran, Russia and Turkey to be having a Trilateral Summit on ensuring Syria continues its civil war slaughter, this time in Idlib, while the United States warns them not to is fairly noteworthy.

“And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.” Daniel 11:2 (KJV)

All 3 nations at the Summit pop up repeatedly in end times Bible prophecy related to the time of Jacob’s trouble, with Russia and Iran, Magog and Persia, two of the main heavy hitters. Modern day Turkey appears in the Bible as Meshech and Tubal, also figures prominently in prophecy. So whenever these 3 get together for military reasons, we would do well to pay attention. Lastly, do a word search in your electronic KJV Bible and see how many times Syria and Damascus pop up in the end times. These four nations combined, Israel notwithstanding, comprise the epicenter of prophecy.

FROM THE AP: “If Assad, Russia and Iran continue, the consequences will be dire,” she said. “We urge Russia to consider its options carefully. Stop Assad’s assault on Idlib. Work with us and the U.N. to find peace at last for Syria,” she said.

Iran and Russia on Friday backed a military campaign to retake the last rebel-held stronghold in Syria as Turkey pleaded for a cease-fire, narrowing the chances of a diplomatic solution to avoid what many say would be a bloody humanitarian disaster.

FROM THE MIAMI HERALD: For Russia and Iran, both allies of the Syrian government, retaking Idlib is crucial to complete what they see as a military victory in Syria’s civil war after Syrian troops recaptured nearly all other major towns and cities, largely defeating the rebellion against Assad.

A bloody offensive that creates a massive wave of death and displacement, however, runs counter to their narrative that the situation in Syria is normalizing, and could hurt Russia’s longer-term efforts to encourage the return of refugees and get Western countries to invest in Syria’s postwar reconstruction. Russia also wants to maintain its regional presence to fill the vacuum left by the U.S. and its long uncertainty over what it wants in the conflict.

“We think it’s unacceptable when (someone) is trying to shield the terrorists under the pretext of protecting civilians as well as causing damage to Syrian government troops,” Putin said. “As far as we can see, this is also the goal of the attempts to stage chemical weapons incidents by Syrian authorities. We have irrefutable evidence that militants are preparing such operations, such provocations.” READ MORE https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/article217980410.html

***** BULLETIN ***** "Russia will not tolerate any more civilian casualties in Gaza" Israel INCREASES attacks!

***URGENT*** The Russian Foreign Ministry has just announced "Russia will not tolerate any more civilian casualties in Gaza."

Now you know why stock markets are plummeting and gold is rising today (Story HERE)

This is a direct and blunt warning to the state of Israel that they must stop the bombing of civilians in the Gaza Strip.   It is a warning coming from the second most powerful country on earth.

Much more as information becomes available.   Updates to appear below . . .

UPDATE 12:51 PM EDT -- Netanyahu: "Israel is not ruling out a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip."

UPDATE 12:56 PM EDT -- Palestinian President: Israeli attacks in Gaza are war crimes. No elections without Jerusalem, "whatever the price."

For those of you who may not be keeping score on these troubles, today's announcement by Russia's Foreign Ministry means that as of today, 19 May 2021, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and now, of course, Russia, which are the big players . . . have all come out publicly against Israel. All of the other Muslim countries to a lesser extent. The stage is just about set. for World War 3.

Putin told Netanyahu Russia could declare war on Israel amid Palestine situation!

PUTIN told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu their two countries could find themselves in a state of war as tensions with Palestine built up to today's crisis in Gaza.

MORE:

Keep a close eye out for this... Palestine is about to make a formal call to Turkey and Pakistan to send peacekeeping force into Palestine, at the United Nations

UPDATE 1:04 PM EDT-

Religious figures are now openly saying "Russia and Turkey both are telling Israel to stop; Iran is funding the weapons: EZEKIEL 38,39 we are there Russia Turkey Iran...

and . . .

Pak MNA Asma Qadeer: “The only option we have now is to declare JIHAD against Israel. No more negotiations. Enlist me for jihad.

This is an actual call for Muslim Jihad coming publicly from a Minister in the Government of Pakistan.

(HT REMARK: This situation between Israel and the Gaza Strip has now, I think, officially spun out of control. Mark the date so history (if any of us survive) will remember.)

Update 1:09 PM EDT -- BREAKING: Rocket launches seen from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel

Sky News Arabia reporting that the rockets towards Israel seem to have been launched from Seddiqine in southern Lebanon, southeast of Tyre.

UPDATE 1:13 PM EDT -- IDF responding with artillery fire in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Air Force warplanes spotted over South Lebanon  right now.

Hezbollah Al-Nour radio: media sources say IDF targeting vicinity of town of Alma, area of Al-Wardani in vicinity of town of Qana in south Lebanon, in response to rocket fire from Lebanon into Israel

UPDATE 1:15 PM EDT -- White House reveals Biden spoke with Israel PM Netanyahu this morning and told him that he expected a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire.

(HT REMARK: Clearly, Biden has no gravitas; nobody pays any attention to him because they all know he's an illegitimate President who grabbed the job via stealing an election.  They further know he's a dementia-addled man (no fault of his own) and he'll probably forget whatever they spoke about in a few minutes anyway, so they don't have to do as he asks! Netanyahu explicitly ignored the (illegitimate) President of the United States and upped the attacks the same day!  Hey Biden voters, LOOK at what you've caused. )

MORE on the Missiles shot from Lebanon:

This is the third attack from Lebanon, but it differs from previous ones in that the rockets used today appear to have a higher range (at least according to the initial details regarding the location of the rocket launch).

Previous attacks were short range, this one came from deeper inside Lebanon. That plus the mere fact that multiple attacks were carried out, means Hezbollah is likely at least turning a blind eye - more likely pushing for these attacks whilst maintaining plausible deniability

UPDATE 1:22 PM EDT -- Secretary of Defense Austin spoke on the phone again with his Israeli counterpart Benny Gantz about the need for a cease fire in Gaza, Israeli officials say

UPDATE 1:35 PM EDT -- Yediot Aharonot: The Israeli government has ordered to open and equip Bomb shelters from Haifa to the far north of occupied Palestine immediately

ISRAELI WARPLANES BOMBED A HOUSE FOR SALHA FAMILY IN DEIR ALBALH, IN THE MIDDLE OF GAZA STRIP, THE AIR RAID KILLED THE PREGNANT MOTHER, FATHER AND 2 KIDS

UPDATE 1:41 PM EDT -- Netanyahu rejects Biden's request for a ceasefire, says there is no time limit for the Israeli operation

MORE:

Riots break out at Jerusalem's holy sites: Israeli troops fire tear gas at Palestinians at the walls of the old city as two IDF soldiers are shot at protest on the West bank on 8th day of Gaza conflict

Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza says 227 killed, including 64 minors, and over 1620 wounded since fighting began last week.

INTEL ASSESSMENT ON LEBANON ROCKET LAUNCHES EARLIER:

Total of four rockets fired, two land at sea, another hits open area near Arab town. This was an extreme effort to fire without hurting anyone, upsetting anyone too much, or starting a war.

Mini-attack from Lebanon was likely a warning, coordinated with Hamas, which desperately seeks a ceasefire. The message: Stop the war in Gaza or face a conflict on 2 fronts.

WHOA!  Defense Minister Gantz ordered to accelerate the IDF's operational actions against terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip.

UPDATE 1:56 PM EDT --  Izz Adin al-Qassam Brigades: "Today the z enemy will feel Tel Aviv burning. Tel Aviv will burN at 21 h  (HT Remark: Israel is seven hours ahead of US east coast.  2100 in Israel equates to 2:00 PM eastern US time .  .  . four minutes form now!)

UPDATE 2:02 PM EDT--  AOC and other progressives mull a resolution to block the $735 million arms sale to Israel.

Netanyahu Responds to Biden's Demand for 'Significant De-Escalation Today'
Rick Moran
3-4 minutes

Joe Biden talked to Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the fourth time this week telling him he “expects” de-escalation of the conflict with Hamas terrorists today. Netanyahu reportedly told Biden that he was “determined to carry on with this operation” until Israel’s military objectives are achieved.

“I especially appreciate the support of US President Joe Biden, for the right to self-defense for the State of Israel,” tweeted Netanyahu. “I am determined to continue this operation until its goal is achieved, to restore peace and security to you, the citizens of Israel.”

International pressure has been building in recent days for Israel to end its retaliatory strikes in response to Hamas rocket attacks. But the U.S. is standing firm at the UN, blocking efforts by the Security Council to take any action,

The question is how much longer Biden can maintain his pro-Israel stance when so many leftists in the United States are screaming for him to turn on an ally.

Washington Post:

So far, Israeli forces have destroyed more than 60 miles of underground tunnels, struck 80 rocket launchers and killed at least 130 militants, a senior Israeli military officer said Wednesday. The officer gave an initial assessment on the condition of anonymity, according to military protocol.

He said Israel had a “factory of targets” that had been prepared for years in advance to be used when the “opportunity” arose. Israel has achieved many of its objectives, but there is “still work to do,” he added.

Netanyahu may believe that Israel will achieve many of its objectives very soon. Haaretz reported that a “senior Israeli political official” says that a cease-fire in Gaza is expected on Thursday.

In Jerusalem, it is estimated that the military operation in Gaza will end within a few days, because the IDF and Hamas have reached their respective goals.

Despite this evaluation, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made it clear on Tuesday that he currently has no intention of halting Israel’s current operation in Gaza.

“We will continue for as long as necessary in order to restore quiet to all citizens of Israel,” Netanyahu said during a tour of the Hatzerim Israeli Air Force Base, hinting that the operation in Gaza was also intended to intimidate Hezbollah with the threat of an Israeli attack: “I am certain that all of our enemies all around us see the price for aggression against us and that they too will learn the lesson.”

Netanyahu is very aware of Biden’s precarious political position so the prospect of a cease-fire in the next 24-48 hours is real. But the Israeli prime minister is also determined to degrade Hamas’ capabilities to harm Israeli citizens and that includes taking out as many Palestinian fighters as possible and destroying as much military equipment as the IDF is able.
