Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land.

It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

New York Times bestselling author William R. Forstchen brings a sequel to his hit novel One Second After. Months before publication, One Second After was cited on the floor of Congress as a book all Americans should read, a book discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a truly realistic look at the dangers of EMPs. An EMP is a weapon with the power to destroy the entire United States in a single act of terrorism, in a single second; indeed, it is a weapon that the Wall Street Journal warns could shatter America. One Second After was a dire warning of what might be our future...and our end. Now, One Year After returns to the small town of Black Mountain, and the man who struggled so hard to rebuild it in the wake of devastation-John Matherson. It is a thrilling follow-up and should delight fans in every way.

This is the follow up book to One Second After. Which i think almost every one should read.

Outside of the KJV, this book may be one of the most necessary things for the average American to read. Yes, the author has a Catholic background, but that is only brought up once in the book (and that was criticized by evangelicals later), but nevertheless, it may be the most eye-opening look at reality that any fiction book can bring.

In the real-life town of Black Mountain, in the outskirts of the Appalachian Mountains, in North Carolina, a town, as well as the nation, tries it's best to survive as it's thrown back three-four hundred years in the past as a EMP launched by an unnamed enemy cripples the nation. One of the town's citizens, John Matherson, tries to keep peace and unite the people as they struggle to live as there recent ancestors had to.

This book, to be honest, led me into the mindset that led me back to Christ.

2 Timothy 4:13  The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

First off, our final standard of authority is the King James Bible, period. With that being said, there's nothing wrong with reading secondary book materials, as long as it's the proper ones (personally, my recent favorites are Gail Ripplinger's "New Age Bible Versions", Kurt Koch's "Occult ABC", and a book exposing rock music Bryan Denlinger sent me and others for free 5 years ago). It's good to learn from other learned people.

Proverbs 15:22  Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

Right now I'm reading 'To Train Up a Child' by Michael & Debi Pearl and 'Chosen by God' by R.C. Sproul.

Some of the books I've read in the recent past:

Mystery Babylon by Chris White
False Christ by Chris White
Napoleon by Emil Ludwig
A Noise of War by A.J. Langguth

Generally I like Christian and history books. I obviously don't put the Bible in there, because it isn't a book you read once and put on the shelf Smiley

Ordered Pursuit of God by AW Tozer today, should get it next week.

Can't wait to read it, b/c Tozer has among the best, if not the best deeper life messages of all the evangelists I've encountered.

I'm reading it right now - it is very edifying so far. However, I would recommend Tozer's writings with caution - b/c during his ministry, he loved to read and study a lot of other books, and he got very interested in what Roman Catholic mystics had to say.

No, he was NOT a closet Jesuit, nor one of those Antinomian Emergent Church heretics pushing these RCC mystic pagan practices (like you see Rick Warren, Richard Foster, and others do nowdays) - however, he loved to study their materials (among other things), and quoted them rather frequently.

For the most part, he's very sound doctrinally - but nonetheless like all the other prominent evangelists, he was just a flesh and blood man prone to error.

Finished Tozer's "Pursuit of God" last week, very good. He didn't quote the RCC mystics nearly as much as I thought he would (he stopped doing so in the 2nd half of the book).

Now reading another Tozer book, "Men Who Met Got: Twelve Life-Changing Encounters" - read 30 something pages so far. Very good secondary material to edify the Christian walk.

MUST READ BOOKS!!

This stuff is like reading the headlines of the news. I really recommend these books.

The Days of Noah
by Mark Goodwin

Is a secret cabal working to collapse the international economy to usher in a global government and one-world currency? Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been slowly, systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years. The signs can no longer be ignored, and Noah is forced to prepare for the cataclysmic period of financial and political upheaval ahead.

Watch through the eyes of Noah as the world descends into chaos, a global empire takes shape, ancient writings are fulfilled and the last days fall upon the once-great United States of America.

The Days of Noah, by Mark Goodwin, is a fast-paced fiction thriller which looks at how modern conspiracies can play into Biblical prophecy concerning the end times. Buy your copy and jump into this near-future, post-apocalyptic adventure today!

This is the complete, three-book box set. Book One: Conspiracy, Book Two: Persecution, and Book Three: Perdition. The individual books in the series spent months at the top of multiple bestseller lists and have acquired 905 Five-Star Reviews to date.

As with all books by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you’re offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.

The Days of Elijah

After a massive wave of disappearances, twenty-six-year-old CIA analyst, Everett Carroll, finally believes what he’s been told about the biblical prophecy of the rapture. But will he be able to survive the gauntlet of destruction known as the Great Tribulation? Seven seals, seven trumpets and seven vials of God's wrath are about to be poured out upon the earth, and woe to the inhabitants thereof!

Global currencies have collapsed, famine and plague have claimed the lives of millions, and the world has crumbled into chaos. The only reason Everett and his girlfriend, Courtney, have survived the mayhem is because they were warned by John Jones, Everett’s recently deceased boss, that all of these tragedies would occur. And what’s more, through his inside knowledge at the agency, mixed with his interpretation of prophecy, Jones predicted that a world leader would ride in on a white horse to fix the ills of the planet. But who is this leader and what is his motivation for mandating the new identification implant and the global cashless currency?

Everett is surprised when he finds out that Elijah, the Messianic Jewish hermit who lives on the mountain above their retreat, did not disappear along with the rest of the Christians. When he tells Everett of a special mission that God has given him, the old prophet gives Everett more questions than answers.

This is the highly-anticipated follow-up series to the best-selling trilogy, The Days of Noah, which chronicles the economic, moral, and social collapse of the United States. The Days of Noah series has received 848 five-star reviews to date!

The Days of Elijah, Book One: Apocalypse is a fast-paced thrill ride through the last days in America. Buy your copy of this end-times adventure today . . . if you can stomach the peril.

As with all books by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.

I just finished another Tozer book last night, "Men Who Met God". Excellent, very edifying, and really re-enforced a lot of things I forget time to time!

Now will start reading his biography soon!
