Those That Bless Israel Will Be Blessed And Those That Curse Israel Will Be Cursed

There are consequences for our actions, and on a national level we are going to experience tremendous consequences for the very foolish decisions of our national leaders. When Barack Obama decided to betray Israel at the United Nations, he made the most fateful decision of his entire presidency. Because the Scriptures tell us that those that curse Israel will be cursed, and so America is now under a great curse due to what Barack Obama has done.

All throughout the Scriptures there are equations. What I mean by that is there are many passages that tell us that if we do things God’s way we will get one result, and if we do things another way we will get another result. One of my favorite examples of this is Matthew 5:19. I have been on both sides of that particular equation, and being on God’s side of the equation is much better by far.

As far as Israel is concerned, all throughout the Bible we see the principle that those that bless Israel are blessed and those that curse Israel are cursed. The very first place where we find this is in Genesis chapter 12 where God makes his famous promise to Abraham. The following is what Genesis 12:1-3 says in the Modern English Version…

Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country, your family, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless them who bless you and curse him who curses you, and in you all families of the earth will be blessed.”

In the Book of Numbers, we see almost the exact same wording being used. In this case, Balaam had been summoned to cast a curse on Israel, but God had him deliver a blessing instead. This is what Numbers 24:9 says…

He crouches, he lies down as a lion, and as a lion, who will stir him up? “Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.”

So how does one curse Israel? There are lots of ways to do that, but one thing that God really doesn’t like is when someone tries to divide up His land. In Joel chapter 3 we find a prophecy about the last days, and one of the things that God says He will really be upset about is the fact that the nations have “divided up My land”…

In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. I will enter into judgment with them there regarding My people and My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land.

This warning has been around for well over 2000 years, but our leaders are completely ignoring God’s warning that He will judge them for dividing up His land. On Friday, UN Security Council Resolution 2344 declared that all Jewish settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank are illegal, and it gave the Palestinians legal ownership of those territories.

Is this the dividing of the land that Joel chapter 3 warns about? If not, it is pretty close. Many are still anticipating that there may be another UN Security Council resolution that would formally establish a Palestinian state, and if that happens that would definitely fulfill Joel 3.

In Zechariah chapter 12, we are told that the city of Jerusalem will be particularly troublesome in the last days. The following is what Zechariah 12:3 says in the Modern English Version…

And it will be on that day that I will set Jerusalem as a weighty stone to all the peoples. All who carry it will surely gash themselves, and all the nations of the land will be gathered against it.

And of all the issues that separate the Israelis and the Palestinians, the status of Jerusalem is perhaps the most controversial. You see, the truth is that the Palestinians will never accept any solution that does not give them East Jerusalem as their capital, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged that the city of Jerusalem will remain undivided forever.

By attempting to divide God’s holy city, Barack Obama and the United Nations are setting themselves against God, and the consequences are likely to be quite dramatic.

Sadly, relatively few Christian leaders are speaking out about this. There has been only a limited uproar against this betrayal of Israel, and this is something that I simply do not understand.

Fortunately, there are a few that are speaking out. One of them is Franklin Graham, and I really like what he had to say about this crisis on his Facebook page…

Israel is America’s closest ally in the Middle East and the only true democracy in that region of the world. I’m disappointed that the current administration in Washington seems to have such contempt for this nation and its elected leaders. For the U.S. not to stand with Israel is shameful.

Without a doubt, what we have done to Israel is shameful. And now that we are on the wrong side of the equation, we will most definitely be cursed.

Nothing extremely dramatic has happened so far, but there have been some rumblings. For example, it is being reported that there have been nearly 700 earthquakes in California and Nevada over the past week…

A reporter for KWTV News tweeted that there have been at least 28 reported earthquakes since the early morning hours in California and Nevada.

A map put out by the Southern California Earthquake Data Center shows that in the last week that have been almost 700 light-to-moderate tremors in the area.

And on the east coast, a horrible winter blizzard is set to dump nearly two feet of snow on some areas of New England…

A powerful winter storm will unleash heavy, wet snow and howling winds across portions of New England from late Thursday through midday Friday, with blizzard conditions possible in some areas.

Much of New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine should see a foot of snow, with nearly two feet expected in some spots, the National Weather Service said. “This looks to be a high-impact storm with power outages and significant drifting issues likely,” the weather service warned.

But if God continues to respond to U.S. moves toward diving the land of Israel as He has in the past, we could potentially see something much more dramatic happen in the days ahead. In a previous article, I detailed ten of the most striking examples of how God has hit America with disaster when our government has cursed Israel…

#1 The last time the U.S. government refused to veto an anti-Israel resolution at the UN Security Council was in 1979. On March 22nd, 1979 the Carter administration chose not to veto UN Resolution 446. Four days after that on March 26th, the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty was signed in Washington. As a result of that treaty, Israel gave up a tremendous amount of territory. Two days later, on March 28th, the worst nuclear power plant disaster in U.S. history made headlines all over the globe. The following comes from Wikipedia…

The Three Mile Island accident was a partial nuclear meltdown that occurred on March 28, 1979, in reactor number 2 of Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station (TMI-2) in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was the most significant accident in U.S. commercial nuclear power plant history.[2] The incident was rated a five on the seven-point International Nuclear Event Scale: Accident With Wider Consequences.[3][4]

#2 On October 30th, 1991 President George H. W. Bush opened the Madrid Peace Conference which brought Israelis and Palestinians together to negotiate for the very first time. In his opening speech, Bush told Israel that “territorial compromise is essential for peace”. At the exact same time, “the Perfect Storm” was brewing in the north Atlantic. This legendary storm traveled 1000 miles the wrong direction and sent 35 foot waves slamming directly into President Bush’s home in Kennebunkport, Maine.

#3 On August 23rd, 1992 the Madrid Peace Conference moved to Washington D.C., and the very next day Hurricane Andrew made landfall in Florida causing 30 billion dollars in damage. It was the worst natural disaster up to that time in U.S. history.

#4 On January 16th, 1994 President Clinton met with President Assad of Syria to discuss the possibility of Israel giving up the Golan Heights. Within 24 hours, the devastating Northridge earthquake hit southern California. It was the second worst natural disaster up to that time in U.S. history.

#5 On January 21st, 1998 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the White House but received a very cold reception. In fact, President Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright actually refused to have lunch with him. That exact same day the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke, sending the Clinton presidency into a tailspin from which it would never recover.

#6 On September 28th, 1998 Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was working on finalizing a plan which would have had Israel give up approximately 13 percent of Judea and Samaria. On that precise day, Hurricane George slammed into the Gulf Coast with wind gusts of up to 175 miles an hour.

#7 On May 3rd, 1999 Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat was supposed to hold a press conference to declare the creation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. On that precise day, the most powerful tornadoes ever recorded in the U.S. ripped through Oklahoma and Kansas. At one point one of the tornadoes actually had a recorded wind speed of 316 miles an hour.

#8 On April 30th, 2003, “the Road Map to Peace” that had been developed by the so-called “Quartet” was presented to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon by U.S. Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer. Over the next seven days, the U.S. was hit by a staggering 412 tornadoes. It was the largest tornado cluster ever recorded up to that time.

#9 In 2005, President George W. Bush (the son of George H. W. Bush) convinced Israel that it was necessary to remove all of the Jewish settlers out of Gaza and turn it over entirely to the Palestinians. According to the New York Times, the very last of the settlers were evacuated on August 23, 2005. On that precise day, a storm that would be given the name “Katrina” started forming over the Bahamas. The city of New Orleans still has not fully recovered from the damage that storm caused, and it ranked as the costliest natural disaster in all of U.S. history up to that time.

#10 On May 19th, 2011 Barack Obama told Israel that there must be a return to the pre-1967 borders. Three days later on May 22nd a half-mile wide EF-5 multiple-vortex tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri. According to Wikipedia, it was “the costliest single tornado in U.S. history.”

Barack Obama is scheduled to leave the White House on January 20th, and many are hoping that the new Trump administration will rapidly repair the damage that has been done to our relationship with Israel. One of the things that is already being discussed is cutting off U.S. funding for the United Nations…

Congress is already setting the stage to cut off U.S. funding to the United Nations in the wake of a contested vote last week in which the Obama administration permitted an anti-Israel resolution to win overwhelming approval, according to congressional leaders, who told the Washington Free Beacon that the current administration is already plotting to take further action against the Jewish state before vacating office.

Other punitive actions by Congress could include expelling Palestinian diplomats from U.S. soil and scaling back ties with foreign nations that voted in favor of the controversial measure, according to multiple sources who spoke to the Free Beacon about the situation both on and off the record.

Hopefully members of Congress will take very swift and decisive action once they return to Washington in early January. Because at this moment we are definitely under a curse, and we need to do whatever we can to change direction.

And let us pray that the Obama administration will not betray Israel again by supporting a UN Security Council resolution that would officially establish a Palestinian state before January 20th. If that happens, all hell is going to break loose in America.

Theme: Israel

Learn about:

The American industrialist honored by Hitler for promoting American anti-Semitism.
The Nazi camp in New York wiped out by God with a monster storm after 40,000-person Nazi rally.
The Jewish merchants who helped fund and supply the American Revolution at their own expense.
The Jewish friend whom George Washington called for help, when one more battle would win the war, but the war chest was empty.
The U.S. President who died suddenly after promising the Arabs there would be no State of Israel without their approval.
The U.S. President who ordered, "Whatever it takes, save Israel!" and a massive military support operation was sent when Israel faced defeat by the Arabs.
The four U.S. Presidents who betrayed Israel, and saw America immediately ravaged by increasingly costly disasters.

As America Has Done To Israel: John McTernan

http://www.chick.com/catalog/books/1289.asp

Is America on a collision course with God?

There is a direct correlation between the alarming number of massive disasters striking America and her leaders pressuring Israel to surrender her land for "peace."

Costing hundreds of lives and causing hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of damage, dozens of disasters, including devastating earthquakes, raging fires, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and tornadoes, have hit America—and always within twenty-four hours of putting pressure on Israel.

What can you do as an individual—and what can America do—to change the direction of our country in relation to Israel to prevent an increasing number of calamities?

This book has many pictures, some of which, have never before been released. These unique pictures include the Nazi movement in Long Island, New York prior to World War ll; the US Navy saving the Zionist movement in Palestine during World War l; and many more.

I've known about some of this for a while now, and i am reading the book above. And this got me thinking that shouldn't this be happening to other countries as well? Especially in Italy where all of these earthquakes seem to be happening on a regular scale anymore and the way the Pope is running his mouth.

A series of four major earthquakes struck Central Italy between Abruzzo, Lazio, the Marche and Umbria regions on 18 January 2017.[2]

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck 25 km northwest of L’Aquila on 18 January at 10:25 local time at a depth of 9 km.[3] A stronger, 5.7 tremor hit the same epicentral area at 11:14 local time.[4] A third earthquake of preliminary magnitude of 5.6 struck 11 minutes later.[5] At 14:33 local time, the fourth tremor of a magnitude 5.2 was registered.[6] These earthquakes were followed by multiple aftershocks.

The earthquakes were strongly felt in other parts of central Italy, including the city of Rome, where the metro system and many schools were evacuated.[7] The strongest tremor was also felt in coastal parts of Croatia (with an intensity of III).[8] Five deaths were reported in Teramo, Crognaleto and Campotosto. [9] These earthquakes also appeared to have triggered, with a winter storm, the Farindola avalanche a few hours later, that struck an hotel. [10]

Avalanche[edit]
Main article: 2017 Farindola avalanche
During the evening of 18 January, the Rigopiano Hotel in the Gran Sasso mountain near Farindola in the Abruzzo region was struck by an avalanche, thought to have been triggered by the earthquakes, leaving "many dead".[11][12] About 30 guests and staff were at the hotel, four of whom were confirmed dead.[13] At least eleven people were rescued,[14][15][16] and two other people survived because they had been standing outside of the hotel when the avalanche hit.[17][18]

It was reported that shortly after the earthquake hit the region, hotel guests were gathered on the ground floor of the hotel, awaiting evacuation when the avalanche struck.[18] Upon impact, the avalanche caused part of the roof of the hotel to collapse, and moved it 10 meters (33 feet) down the mountain.[19]

Pope Francis Authorizes Palestinian Embassy At The Vatican As He Threatens Trump On Jerusalem Move

The developments came as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Pope Francis and inaugurated the Palestinian embassy to the Holy See. Abbas said he had only heard through news reports of the proposal by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to move the embassy to Jerusalem.

The Vatican stressed the sacred nature of Jerusalem on Saturday as the Palestinian leader warned that prospects for peace could suffer if the incoming Trump administration goes ahead with plans to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.” Zechariah 1:14 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Pope Francis said that Jerusalem does not belong to the Jews alone, as the Bible says it does, but must be shared with Israel’s arch-enemy the Palestinians. He also authorized the creation of a Palestinian embassy at the Vatican. That tells you all you need to know about whose side the pope is on. Pope Francis warned Donald Trump against fulfilling his campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The developments came as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with Pope Francis and inaugurated the Palestinian embassy to the Holy See. Abbas said he had only heard through news reports of the proposal by U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to move the embassy to Jerusalem.

The Palestinians strongly oppose the embassy move, saying it would kill any hopes for negotiating an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement and rile the region by undercutting Muslim and Christian claims to the holy city.

New Palestinian embassy opened in the Vatican:

“We hope that this news is not true, because it is not encouraging and will disrupt and hinder the peace process,” he said. He urged Trump to open a dialogue with both Israelis and Palestinians.

Trump hasn’t yet laid out a clear Mideast policy, but has signaled he will be more sympathetic to Israel’s hard-line right than previous administrations.

In Paris on Sunday, the French government is hosting a Mideast peace conference attended by dozens of foreign ministers to show Trump’s administration that most of the world wants a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians and is fed up with decades of conflict.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Pope Francis in the Vatican Saturday to inaugurate the opening of the first Palestinian embassy to the Holy See.

The Vatican has long sought an internationally guaranteed status for Jerusalem that safeguards its sacred character. In its communique after the Abbas meeting, the Holy See didn’t refer to Jerusalem by name but said during the talks “emphasis was placed on the importance of safeguarding the sanctity of the holy places for believers of all three of the Abrahamic religions.”

During the meeting, Abbas presented Francis with gifts recalling Christianity’s birthplace in the Holy Land, including a stone from the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem and documentation about the ongoing restoration of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.

After the papal meeting, Abbas formally inaugurated the new Palestinian embassy across the street from one of the main gates of Vatican City. He pulled back a curtain revealing a plaque and extended the Palestinian flag from a flagpole outside a window.

The embassy, located in the same building as the embassies of Peru, Ecuador and Burkina Faso, comes after recent accords in which the Vatican formally recognized the “State of Palestine.“

“This embassy is a place of pride for us and we hope all of the countries of the world will recognize the state of Palestine, because this recognition will bring us closer to the peace process,” he said.

Abbas had initially accepted an invitation to be in Paris on Sunday, but French officials say that visit has been postponed. source

A series of major earthquakes struck Central Italy between the Marche and Umbria regions in October 2016. The third quake on October 30 was the largest in Italy in 36 years, since the 1980 Irpinia earthquake.[5]

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck 8 km (5 mi) east southeast of Sellano on 26 October at 19:11 local time (17:11 UTC)[6] at a depth of 10 km (6 mi).[7] The earthquake was also felt in the city of Rome.[6] In the region of Marche some houses collapsed, Italian media reported. There were also power failures and the telephone lines were interrupted.[8]

A magnitude 6.1 intraplate earthquake struck 3 km (2 mi) west of Visso on 26 October at 21:18 local time (19:18 UTC). The earthquake, which occurred two months after a magnitude 6.2 earthquake in August, struck about 30 km (20 mi) to the northwest of the August earthquake's epicenter.[9] The civil protection, however, estimated the consequences less dramatically than feared. According to official data, a man died because he had suffered a heart attack as a result of the quake.[10]

A third large, shallow earthquake of USGS preliminary magnitude 6.6 struck 6 km (4 mi) north of Norcia at 07:40 local time (06:40 UTC) on 30 October.[11] Early news and social media reports showed heavy damage to some structures. The village of Arquata del Tronto was destroyed[12] as well as the Basilica of Saint Benedict in Norcia.[13] Two women died of sudden heart attacks during the quake.[14]

Italian earthquakes were retribution for anti-Jewish UNESCO vote – Israeli deputy minister

wo earthquakes, which struck Italy this week, were “retribution” for the country’s support of the UNESCO resolution disregarding the Jewish connection to Jerusalem, Israeli Deputy Minister for Regional Cooperation Ayoob Kara said.

“I’m sure that the earthquake happened because of the UNESCO decision,” Kara, a member of the ruling Likud Party, wrote in a memo, Ynetnews website reported.

Ironically, the Israeli politician was on a state visit to the Vatican when the quakes hit central Italy on Wednesday, killing one and injuring 10 people.

Earlier the same day, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), passed a resolution criticizing Israel for its handling of the holy site in Jerusalem – called Temple Mount by Jews, and Haram al-Sharif by Muslims.

The document was adopted after heated debate over its wording, and particularly the Arabic names used in the document. Italy was among the nations voting in favor of the resolution.

Israel blasted UNESCO and its Arab members for trying to undermine Jewish connections to the holy site.

Kara arrived in the Vatican in a fruitless effort to avert the resolution, but still managed to have a small chat with the leader of the Catholic Church.

According to Kara, Pope Francis “strongly disagreed” with the resolution.

“He (the Pope) even said publicly that the holy land is connected to the Nation of Israel,” the deputy minister stressed.

As for surviving the natural disaster, the Israeli politician said that “going through the earthquake was not the most comfortable of experiences, but we trusted that the Holy See would keep us safe.”

This is from As America Has Done To Israel by John McTernan. I really recommend it.

Jerusalem, God’s Anvil

Anvil: an iron or steel block on which objects are hammered into shape
In that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it
shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:3)
The rebirth of the nation of Israel has been a very slow process, starting in the 1880s and continuing
until today. At times, this process has seemed to stop, only to be suddenly accelerated again by a worldshaking
event.

Jews leaving Russia and trickling back to Israel did not seem significant at first. Then came World War
I and the Balfour Declaration in 1917. Like an explosion, World War I prepared the land for the return.
The period between world wars was one of tension and terrorism. There was no apparent move of God
toward fulfilling the covenant, but then came World War II and the Nazi Holocaust. These events set the
stage for hundreds of thousands of Jews to flee back to Israel. World War II prepared the people for the
land.

Then came the rebirth of the nation on May 14, 1948, and the immediate war that followed. The war
ended with Israeli independence, but Jerusalem a divided city. Once again there was a period of tension
and terrorism. For twenty years, there seemed to be no end to the fighting. Next came the Six Day War of
1967 and like a bolt of lightning, Jerusalem was the united capital of Israel. Since 1967, there has been a
major war, fighting in Lebanon, continuing terrorist attacks, and several intifadas against Israel.

Starting in September 2000, a low-grade war started over Jerusalem. This war was a continuation of
the fighting that started in the 1920s. Although the fighting and terrorism appear endless, there will be an
end. Terrorism and fighting seem to occur between all the major moves of God to restore Israel. The
terrorism and fighting against Israel will continue up to the next major event, which may be the rebuilding
of the temple in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem was united nearly forty years ago. Now, the focus of tension is over Jerusalem and the
Temple Mount area. The Bible states that the possession of Jerusalem will be the cause of the last great
world war. The issues involving Jerusalem will draw all the nations of the world into battle. God is going
to use Jerusalem as an anvil against the nations of the world. In September 2000, the Temple Mount
became the scene of bloody combat. This could be the fuse that ignites the last world war.

God is moving to fulfill the promises of His everlasting covenant, but human observers need patience.
God moved very slowly in fulfilling the promise. Looking back to 1917, it is clear that the Israelis have
made tremendous progress as a people and nation. Millions of Jews have returned home. Israel is a
nation, and Jerusalem is its capital. Israel is a mighty military power with a powerful economy. Hebrew
is the national language. In God’s time, He will fulfill the rest of the covenant promises. Israel will
rebuild a temple in Jerusalem in the near future. It is just a matter of time.

No group or country has been able to stop the rebirth and development of the nation. Israel is truly like
an anvil, and nations are broken that try to destroy God’s everlasting covenant. In watching God at work,
great patience is required.

The restoration has taken over a century to get this far, but God has His own agenda and timetable.
Watching Jerusalem and the intifada that started in September 2000 over the Temple Mount, one sees that
God’s timetable may be accelerating. Remember, Jesus Christ said that Jerusalem was the key to the
timetable.

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and
Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. (Luke 21:24)
With the rebirth of Israel and Jerusalem as the capital, this nation becomes an anvil for false views of
God and Bible doctrine. Most religions of the world do not recognize God’s everlasting covenant with
Israel. Some believe the Jews had a covenant, but they believe it is no longer in effect.

God is using the restoration of Israel to show that His word is literal. The rebirth of Israel confronts
false teaching, false doctrine, and false prophets. Israel becomes an anvil, breaking many false doctrines
and misunderstandings about the Bible.

Islam

The Islamic religion does not recognize the covenant with Isaac and Jacob but instead believes God
made the covenant with Abraham and Ishmael. The Bible actually states that the everlasting covenant was
not with Ishmael but with Isaac; however, Islam refuses to accept the authority of the Bible and insists the
covenant was with Ishmael. The Bible verses to show this follow:

God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will
establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for
Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him
exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I
establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. (Genesis 17:19–21,
emphasis added)

Muslims controlled Palestine for most of the time since 638 yet could not prevent the restoration of
Israel. Muslims fought Israel in 1948, 1967, and 1973, followed by continual strife right up to our present
day. Yet the Muslim nations failed to destroy Israel. This tension between Israel and the Koran can never
be peacefully resolved. For Muslims to recognize the nation of Israel would be an admission that their
beliefs are wrong.

The Koran does not mention Jerusalem, and it does not mention the rebirth of the nation of Israel. The
Bible mentions Jerusalem 811 times. The rebirth of Israel is on page after page in the Bible, while the
Koran is silent. The rebirth of Israel shows the authority of the Bible as the Word of God, and is proof that
the Koran and Mohammed are incorrect. For this reason, there will always be tension between Israel and
Islam. This tension will not last forever, however.

There is a huge confrontation on the horizon between the Holy God of the Bible and Islam. The heart of
the confrontation is Jewish control of Jerusalem. God is using Israel as an anvil against Islam. When the
Islamic nations come against Israel and Jerusalem, God will judge them. This destruction will lead them
to realize the Bible is the Word of God, and the holy God of Israel is the true God.

Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and
they shall know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 38:23)

Christian Replacement Theology

God is also using Israel as an anvil against false teachings within the Christian church. There are false
doctrines called dominion theology, covenant theology, and preterism. These doctrines are fluid and have
many branches, but there is one basic tenet they all hold: the Christian church has now replaced Israel in
the everlasting covenant with Abraham.

These doctrines hold that God has no future plan for the nation of Israel, and that when the Roman
armies destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in 70 AD, it ended the everlasting covenant. Israel then fell
under the curse of the law, and all the blessings in the Bible now belong to the church. The church now is
the seed of Abraham.

These doctrines are in stark contrast to what prophet after prophet stated in the Bible. Jeremiah, for
example, stated that the Lord will never cast off all Israel for sin. Jeremiah claimed that the nation of
Israel will remain forever, and God will never cast them all away.

Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the
stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; the Lord of hosts is his
name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease
from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the
foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they
have done, saith the Lord. (Jeremiah 31:35–37)

The book of Ezekiel records that God dispersed Israel into all nations because of sin, but God would
one day bring them back because of His holy name—not because of their righteousness. The nation of
Israel exists today only because of the holy name of the God of Israel.

I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their
way and according to their doings I judged them….But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of
Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went….Thus saith the Lord God; I do not this for
your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen,
whither ye went. And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen….For I will
take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own
land….And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be
your God. (Ezekiel 36:19, 21–24, 28)

Zechariah prophesied the restoration of Israel, but said that when the people return, it will be in
unbelief toward God and the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. The prophet showed that God will restore
Jerusalem, and that He will judge the nations for trying to destroy Jerusalem. At the time of this judgment,
Israel then turns to belief in the Lord Jesus: “…and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and
they shall mourn for him” (Zechariah 12:10). Israel is in unbelief today, just as Zechariah stated would
happen. The day of their restoration to the Lord God of Israel remains yet in the future:

It shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of
supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one
mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
(Zechariah 12:9–10)

God is using the rebirth of Israel to prove the replacement doctrines incorrect. Just as Moses and the
prophets wrote, the physical descendants of Abraham have returned and restored the nation. In the Bible,
Jerusalem literally means the city of Jerusalem, and Israel means Israel; one cannot spiritualize it to mean
the church. Islam and replacement theology both refuse to believe the Bible about the restoration of Israel
and Jerusalem. These combined false beliefs failed to prevent the restoration of Israel.

If this restoration of Israel is not of God, then what is it? The restoration of modern Israel fulfills the
prophecies of the Bible. It comes down to the final authority: is the final authority a man-made doctrine
like replacement theology or Islam, or the Bible with its clear verses that establish the restoration of
Israel? The restoration of Israel smashes replacement theology. The foundation of replacement theology
rests upon unbelief in God’s word. This is a serious error that leads to consequences with God, including
spiritual blindness.

To try and get around the error of the replacement and covenant theology, some believers in these
doctrines have gone so far as to say that the Jews in Israel are not real Jews. When the Tsar was killing
“Jews” in the Russian pogroms, no one said, “Stop! They are not real Jews.” When the Nazis were killing
the Jews, no one said to Hitler, “Stop! They are not real Jews.” Now, when these same Jews go back to
Israel, they are accused of not being real Jews.

God is using the rebirth of Israel to cut through false and incorrect views of His word. The promise of
God in the Bible is crystal clear on page after page. Man-made doctrines and false prophets have tried to
alter this covenant, but in the latter day God has made the truth clear for all to see. God is very serious
about His word. “Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform
it” (Jeremiah 1:12).

Belief in false doctrines concerning the literalness of the rebirth of Israel blinds people to the work of
God that is occurring right before their eyes. God is moving to fulfill His word, and millions cannot see it.
It is sad that believers in Jesus Christ, because of false doctrine, are actually against the work of God.
Replacement theology and Islamic theology are in agreement against Israel. They both refuse to recognize
that Israel exists because of the everlasting covenant.

It is a grave thing to be on the wrong side of God when He is defending His everlasting covenant. The
wrong doctrine can cause apathy toward Israel and the Jews, leading to failure to pray for and support
Israel in a time of crisis. This incorrect doctrine blinds a person’s ability to recognize God’s judgment
falling on America for forcing Israel to divide the covenant land. Therefore, this person is spiritually
unable to intercede for America as it faces judgment.

God is very serious about the land and covenant. The Lord God of Israel will literally use Jerusalem
as an anvil to destroy the nations that come against it. Jerusalem will draw the nations like a moth to a
light. Multitudes of people have rejected God and the Bible, and this rebellion will cause the nations to
come against God’s anvil. God has warned beforehand about what will happen when armies try to destroy
Israel and take Jerusalem. The entire world will see the mighty power of God as He uses Israel as His
anvil.

God is using the rebirth of Israel to expose false prophets and false doctrines and to have a literal
witness on the earth to the authority of His Word. It is important that one’s faith be in accord with the truth
of the Bible. God’s Word has been tested in the furnace of the earth, and the Bible has proven itself to be
like pure gold and silver. The everlasting covenant has been tested now for four thousand years of history.

It is in effect for all to see. God is faithful to His Word and promises.
