Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land.

September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”
September 20, 2017, 04:32:32 am Christian40 says: "The most popular Hepatitis B vaccine is nothing short of a witch’s brew including aluminum, formaldehyde, yeast, amino acids, and soy. Aluminum is a known neurotoxin that destroys cellular metabolism and function. Hundreds of studies link to the ravaging effects of aluminum. The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

Hi, I'm new. I was saved in a modern church two years ago following a traumatizing breakup with a Catholic guy (thankful the Lord led me out of that one). I naturally questioned my church's endorsement of the NIV and ESV simply because I am a truth seeker and these versions are clearly imperfect and uninspired. I recently left this modern church to find an independent bible believing church. It was a very difficult and painful decision given that I was so attached to the people and was very heavily involved in piano accompaniment and nursery work. I was attacked and was told that my reasons for leaving were not justified by scripture (according to which standard??), but for reasons that the Lord showed me and through inner-testimony of the spirit I know I made the right decision.

I'm just curious if anyone else is using the Common Man's Reference Bible by David Hoffman. He makes great points in his notes and in his regular sermons he explains why he used certain references and he talks about his notes in more detail. I highly value the truth of the KJV alone but I have found this book to be particularly helpful.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 Jn 2:27

Preachers and evangelists have their place. Fellowship has its place as well. Both are important. But I find direct inspiration, through prayer, to be the most reliable for personal growth.

I've also had to walk away from a church full of people that I loved when doctrine contradicted everything that He had shown me over several years.

The breaking point was when the leadership outright told me, "We don't believe that part of the Bible." I'd been with them for years before this came up.

I chose truth over personal comfort.

"We ought to obey God rather than men" is often easier said than done. But Christ has always been faithful to fulfill my needs one way or another since then. My lifeline is with Him first and most, and not with a flawed brick and mortar church. The church has saved nobody.

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"

Thanks. As I've said in my post, I also highly value the truth of the KJV alone. I just think Hoffman is a good preacher.
