Behind Closed Doors: Rare Pics of a Masonic Memorial Temple

I was sent a link to this photographer’s tumblr page containing rare pictures of the Montreal Masonic Memorial Temple. Dedicated and officially opened June 22, 1929, it was added to the register of National Historic Sites of Canada in 2006. Interesting how a lot the symbolism within these walls is now found in pop culture.

The Chamber of Reflection. It is a “small room adjoining the Lodge, in which, preparatory to initiation, the candidate is enclosed for the purpose of indulging in those serious meditations which its sombre appearance and the gloomy emblems with which it is furnished are calculated to produce. It is also used in some of the advanced degrees for a similar purpose.” The chamber contains numerous Alchemical symbols and sayings.

Good insight on the passages, Lisa - I am just listening to Fritz Springmeyer's Illuminati bloodlines presentation at the Prophecy Club for the first time. He pretty much said the same thing-that it's important for Christians and churches to discern and know the DEPTHS of all this evil. I think this is the problem with today's church - yes, they have it correct when they say we need to be strong in our faith, however, for some reason, they've lost alot of discernment and have invited alot of devils into their buildings. I don't know, but I think they may have this misperception that these devils, Freemasons, witches, or whoever, will get their hearts convicted the more they stay in their churches.

I remember in my previous church in my previous city, this owner of strip clubs started attending our church, yes, a WELL KNOWN community person who's notorious for owning all these strip clubs et al in the city - both I and my mom thought she and her beau would eventually convert. The more I think about it - she's more likely a witch or some other occult member(ie-even the local media et al there painted her in a somewhat positive light) out to try to leaven the church(although it already was).
