Listing the motives for the Palestinian militant group's Oct. 7 massacre in Israel, he accused Jews of "bringing red cows" to the Holy Land.

September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

Thats cool man. No worries, but you might want to look into how we have the Bible today and the people who God used to bring it to us.

Amo 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Amo 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

I know the history behind the King James. It`s the only Bible I read and I`ve defended it a few times. I think you put an unecessary limitation on yourself when you decide it has to be King James or nuthin though.

Thats the thing. You have two texts. The KJ and everything else. The KJ comes directly from the apostles and disciples at Antioch. Everything else comes through the Catholic Church. The decision is quite easy. Now im not a KJV ONLY in that you have to worship the book. You dont need a Bible to tell people about Jesus or to get saved. I use creation for that.

But that being said, and as BA2 and others here like to point out what the Catholic versions say compared to the KJ, you can clearly see a difference and a program of deception at work.

King James is clearly the best English Bible and I would agree that the Catholic text has been tampered with.

But I think some allowence needs to made for people who can`t deal with the King James grammer. A long time ago I taught myself to read King James but it took me about 5 years of working at it to get there. And I have above average reading ability. For a lot of people I think it would be very hard.

Our King James has also been adapted. I`ve seen an original King James, it was very old and I could barely read it. What we call King James is not the original.

There is also the issue of translating into other languages. No translating effort made today is going match what was accomplished with the King James. But for people who can read or speak English it`s a lot better then no Bible to read.

It's real name is the 1611 Authorized Version.

I have an exact copy of the 1611 AV. Old English is actually easy to read if you know the nuances. You have to remember that the 1611 AV/KJ was written and published BEFORE we had spelling and grammar rules.  The KJ we have today IS the exact same as in 1611, the only difference was to spelling.

I found it hard to follow.  This was about 25 years ago or more so I`d probably find it easier now.

I broke down and did a little research tonight. Seems that Jubilees and the other books are part of what is called the Jewish oral tradition rather then the written Torah so in essence you were right. I guess that`s what I get for talking about something I haven`t spent any time on in years. It might be longer then that since I had to admit I was wrong about something  Angry   Cool

I know the feeling well. We are a small site, but we are pretty knowledgeable. The world and your heart will constantly strive to deceive us. And there are SO many programs and info out there that does it so well. Especially on the History Channel.  Angry

One of my favorite verses is
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

I try to apply that to everything i research. But here on this site, we are well versed in the history of the Bible and how we have it and how the Catholics have tried to corrupt it over the years. Scott Johnson has some excellent teachings on the history of the Bible. Well worth listening too.

Also its good to have a new face around here to stir up things.  Wink Smiley

I`ve often used the Bereans as an example myself and it`s one of a variey of labels I use when I get pressed about affilations.

When I had Yahoo groups and did a lot of online debating I was forced to do a lot a research. It kept me so busy that I didn`t keep up on backing up my info. I got a pc virus and lost about 3 years worth of research along with some commentary I had written about different doctrines.

I still have the early things I wrote but my ability to write commentary had improved quite a bit so I lost my best stuff, the majority of my research links, along with many articles I had saved.

I was ok with it because I was getting burned out anyway. But since then I`ve relied on my memory when it comes to a lot of non Biblical information. Otherwise I`m trying to retrace old research that at times isn`t there anymore. This is actually the first time it let me down. I must have gotten the idea that Jubilees was in the Torah from either a Morman or somebody who was Hebrew roots. I was expecting to find Jubilees and 2 or 3 more of the books in it  Roll Eyes I intended for that to be my ace up the sleeve. LOL!
