One of my favorite verses is

I try to apply that to everything i research. But here on this site, we are well versed in the history of the Bible and how we have it and how the Catholics have tried to corrupt it over the years. Scott Johnson has some excellent teachings on the history of the Bible. Well worth listening too.

Also its good to have a new face around here to stir up things. Wink

I`ve often used the Bereans as an example myself and it`s one of a variey of labels I use when I get pressed about affilations.

When I had Yahoo groups and did a lot of online debating I was forced to do a lot a research. It kept me so busy that I didn`t keep up on backing up my info. I got a pc virus and lost about 3 years worth of research along with some commentary I had written about different doctrines.

I still have the early things I wrote but my ability to write commentary had improved quite a bit so I lost my best stuff,the majority of my research links, along with many articles I had saved.

I was ok with it because I was getting burned out anyway. But since then I`ve relied on my memory when it comes to a lot of non Biblical information. Otherwise I`m trying to retrace old research that at times isn`t there anymore. This is actually the first time it let me down. I must have gotten the idea that Jubilees was in the Torah from either a Morman or somebody who was Hebrew roots. I was expecting to find Jubilees and 2 or 3 more of the books in it Roll Eyes

I intended for that to be my ace up the sleeve. LOL!
