September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Aluminum is a known neurotoxin that destroys cellular metabolism and function. Hundreds of studies link to the ravaging effects of aluminum. The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

The guy isn't "possessed" by a card game. By a spirit? Definately possible if the guy isn't saved and baptized with the Holy Ghost.

It sounds as though the woman is suggesting he is saved? Maybe she is mistaken about that and only thinks he is? But I can also imagine that she is putting some real pressure on him to be a husband to her and a parent to their child and I suspect he's really feeling pressured and is now trying to find a release from the new life responsibilies. It also sounds as though the couple is young, because most who play that type game are younger guys, say in the 20's. Being young, married and with a new child would be huge pressure on a young couple.

While that game is neither edifying nor expedient, the bigger problem is his alleged neglect of his family and child in particular. He has a responsibility as a parent, and all else becomes secondary to raising the child up in the way it should go. BUT, if he isn't born-again or really believe, then what he should do doctrinally becomes secondary to repenting and being baptized. So not being saved is the primary issue, along with all the other issues a person will have being unsaved.

So as a little different angle, I think it's just as important to point out his not being a parent and husband is as important as him not playing an unedifying game. We as Christians do all kinds of things we shouldn't do that aren't edifying, so I think we can get caught up in telling what not to do, when it's just as importnat to tell people what to do instead. Too much negative can drive people away. People want a little honey in life, and if all they get is vinegar, they aren't nearly as receptive! The Word is honey to the soul.

Along those lines, the wife needs to remember that she can get too "preachy" and cause harm rather than good. If all he hears is her telling how bad he's being for playing that game, he won't suddenly stop playing because of the nagging. It will only get worse. She needs to pray for being meek and humble, and for God to handle it for her. Get out of God's way and let Him take care of the situation.

The reality is that the game isn't the problem at all. We know an idol is nothing. The problem is he's neglecting his adult responsibilities. If he doesn't want anything to do with the Holy Bible or being Christian, I'd say he was never saved like she may think he was.
