Well, there WILL be a world-wide war in the last days, but it won't be b/c of "global warming"!

Rev 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Water Woes: Vast US Aquifer Is Being Tapped Out

Nearly 70 percent of the groundwater stored in parts of the United States' High Plains Aquifer — a vast underground reservoir that stretches through eight states, from South Dakota to Texas, and supplies 30 percent of the nation's irrigated groundwater — could be used up within 50 years, unless current water use is reduced, a new study finds.

Researchers from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., conducted a four-year study of a portion of the High Plains Aquifer, called the Ogallala Aquifer, which provides the most agriculturally important irrigation in the state of Kansas, and is a key source of drinking water for the region.

If current irrigation trends continue unabated, 69 percent of the available groundwater will be drained in the next five decades, the researchers said in a study published online today (Aug. 26) in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

"I think it's generally understood that the groundwater levels are going down and that at some point in the future groundwater pumping rates are going to have to decrease," study lead author David Steward, a professor of civil engineering at Kansas State University, said in a statement. "However, there are lots of questions about how long the water will last, how long the aquifer will take to refill and what society can do." [Earth Checkup: 10 Health Status Signs]

Taking water measurements

Steward and his colleagues collected data on past and present groundwater levels in the Ogallala Aquifer, and developed statistical models to project various scenarios of water depletion over the next 100 years.

Using current trends in water usage as a guide, the researchers estimate that 3 percent of the aquifer's water was used up by 1960; 30 percent of the aquifer's water was drained by 2010; and a whopping 69 percent of the reservoir will likely be tapped by 2060. It would take an average of 500 to 1,300 years to completely refill the High Plains Aquifer, Steward added.

But, if reducing water use becomes an immediate priority, it may be possible to make use of the aquifer's resources and increase net agricultural production through the year 2110, the researchers said.

"The main idea is that if we're able to save water today, it will result in a substantial increase in the number of years that we will have irrigated agriculture in Kansas," Steward said.

A lot of variables

Yet, making projections about water security is challenging, because there are a number of factors to consider, and even though the High Plains Aquifer touches eight different states, the effects can be highly localized, said Bridget Scanlon, a senior research scientist and leader of the Sustainable Water Resources Program at the University of Texas at Austin, who was not involved with the new study.

"We know the aquifer is being depleted, but trying to project long-term is very difficult, because there are climate issues and social aspects that have to be included," Scanlon told LiveScience. "Projections are so difficult because I think we're clueless about a lot of things, like extreme weather events."

Scanlon pointed out that the new study does not consider the impact of extreme weather, such as droughts or floods. In 2011, Texas experienced a devastating drought that cost the state some $8 billion in economic losses, according to a report by Susan Combs, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. NASA satellites that studied the parched land determined that the drought depleted the region's aquifers to low levels that had rarely been seen since this type of mapping began more than 60 years ago. [Dried Up: Photos Reveal Devastating Texas Drought]

Finding a solution to the groundwater depletion problem is also tricky without unfairly targeting the farmers, Scanlon said.

"Farmers are trying to make a living, and they're responding to economics," she explained. "Asking them to drastically reduce water might be like asking me to retire now because there are so many unemployed people."

Too many unknowns?

Steward and his colleagues anticipate future technologies will help farmers irrigate their land more efficiently. "Water use efficiencies have increased by about 2 percent a year in Kansas, which means that every year we're growing about 2 percent more crop for each unit of water," Steward said. "That's happening because of increased irrigation technology, crop genetics and management strategies."

But in some areas of the country's plains, the properties of the groundwater and soil largely dictate the irrigation techniques, Scanlon said. In parts of Texas and Kansas, the groundwater is brinier, which means if some farmers employ more efficient irrigation techniques, they will also be pumping up salty deposits that are not adequately washed away by rainfall.

"This is a very nice study, but we really need to address droughts and socioeconomic issues, and other approaches to figure out the problem, beyond the technical," Scanlon said. "If we don't know what we're doing, are we just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic?"

Yep, and people like T. Boon Pickens know it. And is exactly why he and other rich people have already bought all kinds of acreage over that aquifer.

There may or may not be some plan to move people into cities, but there sure is an effort going on to move the homeless out of cities!

The article almost reads like something from the Onion...It's all fueled by "business", the 'ole "it's your fault your poor, now get out of my yard!".

South Carolina city makes being homeless illegal

By Barnini Chakraborty

WASHINGTON –  South Carolina’s capital city is dishing out some southern discomfort following a controversial decision to criminalize its homeless.

On Aug. 13, the Columbia City Council approved a plan that effectively makes homelessness illegal in parts of the city. The proposal forces those who sleep outdoors to be sent to a shelter on the outskirts of town. Those who don’t comply will be rounded up and forced to leave or sent to the slammer.

“It’s basically a choice between two kinds of jail,” Jake Maguire, spokesman for Community Solutions’ 100,000 Homes Campaign, told FoxNews.com. “There’s jail and then there’s the shelter.”

He added, “Once you get there, you can’t come and go. You are basically brought to a place where you are expected to stay. If you want to go back downtown, you have to get approval for them to shuttle you back.”

But Councilman Cameron Runyan, the man behind the proposal, believes moving Columbia’s homeless shelter 15 miles from the city’s downtown area can cut crime and draw in more businesses and opportunities.

“If we don’t take care of this big piece of our community and our society, it will erode the entire foundation of what we’re trying to build in this city,” Runyan told the council. “What I see is a giant risk to business.”

Under Runyan’s “Emergency Homeless Response” plan, homeless-looking people in the city’s 36-block downtown district will be asked by police to move to a shelter on the outskirts of the Columbia. If a person refuses, they could be arrested on a range of public nuisance laws.

Once at the shelter, the only way to leave is by reserving a shuttle ride. To make sure the homeless don’t return, a police officer will be stationed on the road leading to the downtown district to keep the homeless away.

The plan has received support from Columbia’s business leaders who say the city’s homeless problem has been their eroding economic opportunities for decades...

Red worms found in drinking water supply to Oklahoma town

OKLAHOMA CITY - Beating the late-summer heat isn't as easy as running to the sink in one northeast Oklahoma town, as residents there are being asked not to drink tap water after red worms were found in the filtering system.

The worms — ranging from a half-inch to an inch long — showed up earlier this week in the drinking water supply in Colcord, a small town about 80 miles east of Tulsa.

City councilman Terry Wood said city water was turned back on Wednesday morning after workers cleaned, drained and re-cleaned the water tower. No worms were found in the tower, he said.

"We are still looking into this problem. I mean we need to get to the bottom of it and we will continue to investigate and do pretty much what we need to do to find out what happened here," Wood said.

Residents are being asked not to consume the water or use it to brush teeth or prepare food, Wood said, but it can be used for showers and other activities.

Erin Hatfield, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, said it is uncommon for red worms to show up in a water system in the state, though it's fairly common in the southeastern United States.

She was not sure why or how the worms wriggle into water systems.

There are no adverse health effects with the red worms, she said, and the DEQ provided Colcord officials with recommendations for their water system to prevent future red worm infestations.

Several businesses and organizations, like Walmart and the Cherokee Nation, have donated bottled water for residents in the 815-person town to use, Wood said.

"We've had situations before where we've been out of water," he said. "We've just had to use bottle water for consumption, so I don't guess it's been comfortable for some people but the last few hours haven't been that bad."

Colcord Public Schools canceled classes Wednesday, but Superintendent J.D. Parkerson said teachers and students are eager to return to classes Thursday, though no official decision has been made.

Health officials have provided guidelines to school administrators to make sure the schools are safe for the approximately 650 students.

For the record, I myself am single(so I'm not trying to belittle anyone who's a single male).

But nonetheless, there is language in this particular article which sounds very Agenda 21 depopulation-ish type of language(as well as warring on the family unit).

More US men living alone

Census data show that men now comprise 34 percent of single-person households.

More men in America are living alone, possibly due to a spike in the divorce rate over the past few decades, according to new data released this week from the US Census Bureau.

In 1970, men ages 15 to 64 comprised 23.2 percent of one-person households. That figure increased to 34.3 percent in 2012

However, one-person households among women of the same age remained fairly consistent during that same time period, dropping just slightly from 30.9 percent in 1970 to 30.1 percent in 2012.

In many divorces, mothers retain custody of the children, the Census report notes.

The U.S. divorce rate has declined in recent years but remains well above levels seen in the 1970s, The Wall Street Journal reports. Citing data from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Wall Street Journal reports that there were approximately 877,000 divorces and annulments in 2011, down from 944,000 in 2000. The U.S. population increased substantially during that same time frame.

“Over the last half-century, the trend in the U.S. has been toward smaller households, fewer family and married-couple households with children, and more people living alone,” Census researcher Jonathan Vespa told the Wall Street Journal.

The US Park Police Is the New UN Police Force

How many bad policemen does it take to say that we are living in a police state? Of all the abuses of power by the newly federalized police across America, there is one law enforcement agency that is moving to the head of the class with regard to invoking police state type of tactics against innocent American citizens, and that agency would be the United States Park Police. However, the United States Park Police is a misnomer because the title of this agency should be The United Nations Park Police. The unconstitutional and brutal practices of this Gestapo organization provides Americans with a glimpse of what it will be like to live under the New World Order under its Agenda 21 policies.

This article will first provide examples of how the US Park Police consistently operates outside of the US Constitution through repeated acts of brutality toward American citizens in complete violation of their individual civil liberties. Finally, this article will address the topic for the “legal” justification being used in order to justify these acts of brutality under the color of international law.

The United States Park Police

The following paragraphs will detail an out of control criminal police organization. However, this is not just a story about police brutality. This is a story about what it will be like to live under United Nations control. The connection between these two variables will soon be apparent.

Watching these “law enforcement” personnel from this rogue agency is reminiscent of some of the more heinous and infamous police state tactics from the past ranging from the KGB to the Gestapo.

When American citizen ventures into a national park, beware, the United States Constitution is null and void in our national parks. The following are examples of what you could be in for when you leave the United States and enter the parks controlled by the United Nations.

Park Police Brutally Arrest Peaceful Woman at Liberty Bell

The victim of the following unspeakable abuse of power is Emily Yates. Yates was attending a protest rally when she was arrested for literally sitting on the wrong bench.

Apparently, the wrong bench that Emily Yates sat on was the “cops” bench and not the people’s bench. Viewer discretion is advised as there is some adult language and the violence perpetrated by these thugs with badges is difficult for any civilized person to watch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZIK5XXwAMI&feature=player_embedded

One can only hope that eyewitnesses at the scene wrote down the names of the offending officers and then sent the videos of this event  to their respective wives and mothers in order to demonstrate how these thugs treat women who have done nothing wrong.

If this is not a shining example of the fact that the Brown Shirt thugs are not just coming to America, they are already here and they are policing our parks. And these are parks that we still pay taxes to support.

Thomas Jefferson Is Rolling Over In His Grave

“The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.”

Thomas Jefferson

Who will ever forget the following abuse of power by the U.S. Park Service when people were arrested at the Jefferson Memorial for dancing and kissing in public.

What we see in this video is a cop who tells people that they cannot dance or kiss in public. However, when the people ask him what law they are breaking, this intellectual scholar with a badge refuses to tell them and merely responds with “We will arrest you.”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BU7JGUwJsyU&feature=player_embedded

Again, someone should send this video to these cops children in order to show them what kind of America their fathers are creating with their repeated expressions of unconstitutional brutality.

The Crime of Hiking

If you are keeping score, it is illegal to sit on the “wrong” bench, to dance on national park ground and you will get arrested for kissing in park grounds as well. Now, we can add hiking to the list of offenses which will draw the ire of the Brown Shirts of the US Park Police.

Below is a video of US Park Police randomly stopping hikers and searching them. No probable cause and no reasonable suspicion, these hikers were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and apparently the US Park Police are beyond the law. Newsflash to all American citizens, when you are detained by these thugs, invoke the Constitution and see how they respond. Repeatedly ask them, “Am I free to go?” Do not consent to a search of your person or your vehicle without a warrant. Do not make it easy for these thugs to enact their reign of terror upon innocent citizens.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43KGxjX4NVY&feature=player_embedded

The “National” Parks Are No Longer Part of the United States

All of the above behaviors by the Park Police are technically legal because the United States no longer owns the national parks and the aforementioned police force acts with impunity outside of the law.

When an American citizen sets foot on a national park, they cease to be an American citizen complete with all the rights and privileges of being an American citizen.

These abuses of power by the US Park Police are taking place exclusively on land no longer owned by the United States. The United Nations, following their Agenda 21 plans own our national parks and they have converted these parks to Biospheres Reserves and World Heritage Sites which are under the control of the United Nations. International law governs these areas and therefore, their police force is outside the control of our Constitution and our courts.

Biosphere Reserves:
■Big Bend National Park, Tx. (801,163 acres)
■Big Thicket National Preserve, TX (85,750 acres)
■Congaree Swamp National Monument (SC (22,200 acres)
■Death Valley National Monument, CA (2,067,628)
■Denali National Park and Preserve, AK (6,500,000 acres)
■Everglades National Park and
■Fort Jefferson National Monument, Fl. (1, 571,199 acres)
■Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserver, AK (7,523,888 acres)
■Glacier National Park, Mt (1,013,572 acres)
■Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, AK (3,283,168 acres)
■Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN/NC (520,269)
■Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HI (229,177 acres)
■Isle Royale National Park, MI (571,790 acres)
■Joshua Tree National Monument, CA (559,954 acres)
■Kings Canyon National Park, CA (461,901 acres)
■Mammoth Cave National Park, KY (52,708 acres)
■Noatak National Preserve, AK (6,574,481 acres)
■Olympic National Park, WA (922,651 acres)
■Organ Pipe National Monument, AZ (330,689 acres)
■Redwood National Park, CA (110,232 acres)
■Rocky Mountain National Park (265,727 acres)
■Sequoia National Park, CA (402,482 acres)
■Virgin Islands National Park, VI (14,689 acres)
■Yellowstone National Park, WY (2,219,791 acres)

World Heritage Sites

■Carlsbad Caverns National Park, NM (46,766 acres)
■Grand Canyon National Park, AZ (1,217,158 acres)
■Mesa Verde National Park, CO (52,122 acres)
■Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve and Preserve, AK (13,188,325 acres)
■Yosemite National Park, CA. (761,236 acres)

This is only the beginning of getting Americans out of rural areas and into the stack and pack cities of the future under UN Agenda 21 policies.

Conclusion

This is only the tip of the iceberg and we owe a debt of gratitude to the Park Police for the demonstration of what the New World Order has in store for average Americans.  Remember, the US Park Police is really the UN Park Police of the Agenda 21 Division.

These plans will continue unabated until we wake up a sufficient number of Americans which would ultimately constitute a force  strong enough to stand up to this tyranny. However, I fear that in a couple of years we will still be saying we need enough Americans to wake up to make make a difference. But by then, it will be too late. Game over.

UN brewing up new -- and expensive – global 'sustainability development goals'

EXCLUSIVE: The United Nations is planning to create a sweeping new set of “sustainable development goals” for the planet that will likely require trillions of dollars of spending on poverty and the environment, a drastic reorganization of economic production and consumption -- especially in rich countries -- and even greater effort in the expensive war on climate change.

It’s an agenda that its prominent boosters have declared will make the next 15 years “some of the most transformative in human history,” although the exact nature of the goals themselves, and how they are to be achieved, is unclear.

In typical U.N. fashion, panels of high-profile international figures have offered up their views, task forces have been commissioned to come up with suggestions, hundreds of non-governmental organizations have been polled, and a 30-nation working group is holding sessions that will extend early into next year before offering more concrete suggestions to the U.N. General Assembly, where they will be further chewed over.

The goals themselves are slated to become a program of the U.N.  -- and all the nations that endorse them -- in 2015, as part of what U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has called  “a universal sustainable development agenda” for the planet -- an equally undefined set of far-reaching aspirations for global environmental management and new and expanded roles in the future for the U.N.’s sprawling array of funds, programs and institutions.

They are supposed to be endorsed at an as-yet-unplanned global U.N. summit -- the successor to the Rio + 20 summit on sustainable development which boosted the current elaborate process -- in 2015.

According to skeptics such as William Easterly, an economics professor and co-director of New York University’s Development Research Institute, the program also has great potential to become a “huge unworkable mess.”  So far, Easterly says, what he sees is a “confused mashup of every development fad of the last 20 years” married to the aim of giving the U.N. a more central role in economic development -- “not a good thing,” in his opinion.

Other experts, such as Charles Kenny, a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington, are more forgiving. The still-unformed SDGs, he says, are “a way to frame conversations about where we want to be and how much progress we can make. I think right now we're in the negotiation stage. We'll get to the campaign in 2015.”

In effect, the U.N. is hoping to double down on the mixed success of its so-called Millennium Development Goals, or MDGs, an eight-point program of mostly anti-poverty measures that was endorsed in 2000 and is slated to expire in 2015 -- when the new sustainable development goals, or SDGs, are intended to take their place.

The MDGs aimed largely at improving life for the globe’s most desperate people. They included such targets as cutting in half the number of people around the world living in extreme poverty (less than $1.25 per day); reducing child mortality rates by two-thirds; reversing the spread of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other killer diseases; and cut in half the number of people without access to safe drinking water and sanitation.

In a number of cases, the MDGs have already succeeded:  The number of people living on $1.25 a day, for example, was cut in half by 2010, according to the U.N. -- though most of that change was due to the massive economic transformation of China, and to a lesser extent, India.

The number of children under age 5 dying each year has also declined, from 12.4 million to 6.6 million -- less than the  Millennium Development Goal, but still substantial progress. The same applies to rates of HIV/AIDs and malaria, largely due to the efforts of the Global Fund to Combat AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, initially sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Given the diverse sources for the relative success of the MDG effort, there is no telling how much they have cost. But Ban is still exhorting everyone to ante up further. “We must do everything we can to achieve the MDGs by the end of 2015,” he told a special “high-level event” at the U.N. on September 25, while hailing some $2.5 billion in new contributions from governments, philanthropies and corporations.

The Sustainable Development Goals, however, are much more sweeping, and likely to be much harder to measure. Their overall aim -- at least so far -- is to marry the specific targeting of the most successful MDGs with the much more sweeping and imprecise language of “sustainability” -- a term that has never been very specifically defined.

Roughly speaking, “sustainability” is supposedly centered on the social, economic and environmental well-being of individuals, societies and the entire planet -- but without the precision of hard-edged economics to measure its inputs and outcomes.

Instead, the new development agenda is characterized as “one that seeks to achieve inclusive, people-centered, sustainable global development,” in the words of a U.N. task force composed of some 50 U.N. agencies and international organizations, which reported on the topic last year.  It would also include unspecified “reforms of mechanisms of global governance.”

Among other things, the task force declared,  “Immediate priorities in preserving environmental sustainability include ensuring a stable climate, stopping ocean acidification, preventing land degradation and unsustainable water use, sustainably managing natural resources and protecting the natural resources base, including biodiversity,” -- in short, a total, and global, environmental renovation that includes the draconian limits on carbon emissions agreed to in the Kyoto Protocol, which the U.S. has not ratified.

(According to U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Dean Pittman, speaking in New York last week, the U.S. is already “investing approximately $800 million per year” through President Obama’s newly announced Global Climate Change Initiative “to address the climate needs of developing countries.”)

Additional topics that the old MDGs did not address, that the task force mentioned, included “productive employment, violence against women, social protection, inequalities, social exclusion,” as well as “persistent malnutrition and increase in non-communicable diseases, reproductive health and complexities related to demographic dynamics, peace and security, governance, the rule of law and human rights.”

**Come to think of it, entertainment media in particular has been pushing agendas like violence against women, inqualities, social exclusion, etc for years.

Atop that, the task force said, “Sustainability also implies ensuring inter-generational justice and a future world fit for children. This entails safeguarding a sustainable future in which children will be able to grow up healthy, well-nourished, resilient, well-educated, culturally sensitive and protected from violence and neglect.”

In short, pretty much everything.

The themes of occasional highly specific potential targets coupled with sweeping objectives are deeply embedded in the report this summer of  a U.N.-sponsored, 27-member High-Level Panel  on the post-2015 Development Agenda, appointed by Ban in July 2012, which included British Prime Minister David Cameron among its top-tier members.

The report declared that the world must “finish the job that the MDGs started,” and eradicate “extreme poverty from the face of the earth by 2030” -- meaning raise the standards of the estimated 1.2 billion people still living on less than $1.25 per day.

The panel left fill-in-the-blanks percentages -- assuming much further discussion ahead -- for suggested measurable goals, such as reductions in the mortality rate for child-bearing women, or in the number of children whose growth is stunted annually by malnutrition.

But the panel also added such things as “prevent and eliminate all forms of violence against girls and women;” “adopt sustainable agricultural, ocean and freshwater fishery practices and rebuild designated fish stocks to sustainable levels;” and “safeguard ecosystems, species and genetic diversity.”

Some of these goals, the panel admitted in a discreet footnote, “require further technical work to find appropriate indicators” of success.

What all of this might cost is also largely unexamined. Instead the panelists focus on benefits, often arrived at by elaborate methods. Thus, the report states, “Every $1 spent to reduce stunting [of growth in children] can yield up to $44.50 through increased future earnings.”

(The 2012 research paper cited by the panel, and examined by Fox News, sets the overall cost of a campaign to reduce the number of underweight children by 10 million annually -- along with 210 million adults -- at about $154 billion, in current terms. It assumes an averaged 15 percent increase in individual income due to higher agricultural productivity in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya and India as the main source of benefits.)

Nonetheless, observers development expert Kenny, a supporter of the goals, “given progress toward wiping out $1.25 a day poverty and the global decline in malnutrition, the eventual aim of close-to abolishing hunger so-defined doesn't sound implausible to me (even if it might be implausible by 2030).”

Of the rest, he says, “think of the proposal as a long list that will be chipped away at on the grounds of political and practical plausibility both in terms of measurement and achievement.”

Skeptic Easterly sees the new goals -- not to mention the long, elaborate ramp up, the incessant consulting, and frequent consultation with experts who essentially agree on the process -- differently.

As he puts it:  “Compared to this, the Millennium Development Goals look like masterpieces of clarity. This process seems to get worse over time.”

There's your bottom line; can't have a productive, profitable slave system if all the slaves are malnourished and sickly. Some are looking at the poor of the world as potential employees that pay taxes into the system and aren't a burden to the world, just like how some look at "immigration reform".

The EPA Legally Controls All Water, Food Production and Private Property

Mike and Chantel Sacket, from Priest Lake, Idaho, were preparing an 0.63 acre plot of land for the construction of their new home when an order by the EPA was issued to remove piles of fill material and replant the vegetation that they had removed from their property. The couple paid $23,000 for their property.

The order from the EPA was issued after the couple had gone through the process of acquiring all of the necessary permits to begin construction. Failure to comply with the EPA order would have resulted in a daily fine of up to $37,500.

The Idaho couple sued, in an attempt to prove that their land did not meet the criteria for being declared a wetland by the EPA; however, the lower court refused to hear the case. Fortunately, the Supreme Court sided with Mike and Chantel as well as several other property owners who had been the victims of EPA tyranny. The details of the case are provided here.

What seemed like a victory for property owners against the EPA may prove to be short-lived. The EPA is back and they are back with a renewed vengeance. Under the Clean Water Restoration Act, the EPA is in control of all “navigable waters.” On the surface, the term “navigable waters” would seem to provide some measure of protection to the public from invasive EPA enforcement by placing some reasonable limitations on the EPA’s regulatory power. Alas, that is proving not to be the case.

The Clean Water Restoration Act

The Clean Water Restoration Act goes far beyond the original intent of the law which was the protection of waterfowl and the conservation of wetlands. The proverbial fly in the ointment has its roots in the recent removal of the term “navigable waters”.

Under the new guidelines, if you use well water, the EPA has jurisdiction over your property and can even forcibly evict you and your family. If it rained overnight, or you have runoff from a recent snowfall, and there is any resulting puddles on your property, this can result in the loss of the free use of your property. You are also subject to eviction from your land if your property resides above an underground water aquifer.

A Thinly Veiled Excuse

In reality, this law has nothing to with preserving water and is simply a thinly veiled excuse to separate as many Americans from their land as possible. This strategy is straight out of the Agenda 21 playbook and it is being used to attack private property rights throughout the West. This strategy dovetails nicely with something I recently wrote about with regard to the fact that many state governments in the West are prohibiting the trapping and use of rainwater and the reuse of farm irrigation water. The last thing the Federal government wants is to allow Americans the right to fully control their property and to experience any kind of water independence.

The underlying intent of these policies is to attack America by lashing out at the food producers of America. The Wetlands legislation is being used to force the food producers of this country off of their land as the EPA begins to assess farmers $37,500 dollar, per day, fines for having any kind of standing water on their properties. The EPA is all too happy to provide relief for farmers and ranchers and acquire their land to help these victims of federal tyranny to get out from underneath their fines.

Most rural communities understand what is happening to them, but these events are receiving almost no attention except for the exceptional news blurb. The most dramatic reporting on this event occurred in the past week on FOX News in which Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared on FOX and recounted many of the claims which I have identified here.

A number of other water issues have been the subject of recent Congressional oversight and subsequent legislation. Some legislators have been highly critical of recent regulatory initiatives which have abused the personal property rights of individual farmers, ranchers and homeowners. As of this date, despite some scant interest in EPA abuses, Congress has failed to act against the EPA for Fifth Amendment violations of property rights.

The True Intentions of the EPA

There is one person who has almost more water than God, but he is not and he never will be regulated by the EPA and his name is T. Boone Pickens.

Pickens could be found guilty of diverting rainwater to a house of prostitution and he will never run afoul of the EPA and its enforcement army from the Army Corps of Engineers, because Pickens is part of the plot to hand off the nation’s water supply to private corporate interests which will be beyond the reach of the EPA.

America is the victim of a three pronged attack which is designed to control all water: (1) Through the Clean Water Act, the EPA controls all water; (2) As a result of controlling all water, the EPA will come to naturally control all food production; (3) Since all property has some degree of water on it, the EPA is, in effect, the draconian landlord over everyone’s property.

Rules for Thee but Not for Me

That one person which is not impacted by EPA regulations and that person controls as much water as he wants. That infamous corporate raider and robber baron of the oil industry, T. Boone Pickens, is leading the charge to unscrupulously enrich himself as he leads the global depopulation efforts to create a series of artificially contrived water shortages. Pickens was one of the first to rush to capitalize on the impending water shortage by his insidious acquisition of the largest underground aquifer in the US, the Ogallala Aquifer, containing a quadrillion gallons of water, This massive underground reservoir extends from Texas to South Dakota.

In Roberts County, TX., Pickens has purchased nearly 70,000 acres, as well as the water rights to personally remove up to half of the Ogallala Aquifer of which he plans to sell back to nearby residents in order to enrich himself. Much of this aquifer extends into prime farm land located in America’s bread basket. One man, T. Boone Pickens, is acquiring the ability to turn the American heartland into a dust bowl. Pickens will soon have the political power to charge so much for water, that farmers will be forced to abandon their farms and ranches in a Hunger Games rendition in which government sponsored interests will eventually become the sole purveyor of the nation’s food and water supply as the anti-humanist, Pickens, makes more money from water than he ever did with oil.

In order to acquire the water and expand his control over the Ogallala Aquifer, Pickens needed more political power. In 2006, Pickens bought off the Texas State Legislature for $1.2 billion. This purchase of water-related law making power has allowed Pickens the ability to do accomplish four goals: (1) He created an eight-acre town and an accompanying local government, and subsequently made his tiny municipality into a powerful Water Supply District; (2) As such, Pickens automatically acquired the right to issue tax-free bonds and thereby, giving himself the lucrative benefit of borrowing at a tremendous discount; (3) Now operating as a public entity, Pickens is armed with the power of eminent domain which will allow him to expand his water acquisition potential in which he bullies local residents, along the aquifer, to sell their properties for pennies on the dollar; (4) Pickens used his 1.2 billion dollar bribe money to get the Texas legislature to pay for a 250 foot wide water pipeline corridor all the way to Dallas where Pickens will make an estimated yearly profit of $165 million at taxpayer expense. Pickens has become the poster child for the phrase “crony capitalism.”

According to Business Week, Pickens is now the number one owner of water in the United States. He will soon possess the ability to create a waterless wasteland through the heartland of America and who is going to stop him, Obama or the corrupt Texas State Legislature?

Pickens isn’t content with his new-found power over Texas water supplies. Pickens is in the process of greatly expanding his control over water as he petitioned Congress and the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee to expand his private/public water district’s power of eminent domain and right-of-way, so that he can operate across state lines as well. If this is fully granted, Pickens will control all water between Texas and South Dakota. Pickens is also in the process of doubling down as he has added his previous wind projects to the water district by proposing a vast $12-billion wind farm, to sit on the same land he is acquiring for his water pipeline. The cost of the water pipeline is estimated at $1.5 billion, which is being financed at taxpayers’ expense through bonds and low-interest loans.

Pickens told Business Week that he is only planning on selling surplus water, but according to the United Nations research and scientific studies report, nearly two-thirds of the entire population inhabiting the planet will face severe, life-threatening water shortages by the year 2025. So, Mr. Pickens, what surplus could you be talking about? And you only thought you had to worry about Obama collapsing the economy through his socialist policies.

Every bit of the Pickens plan violates the both the spirit and the letter of the law with regard to the EPA’s claimed right regulate all water. Pickens is not, and will not meet any EPA resistance.

Pickens Is Not Alone

The former CEO of Nestle, Peter Brabeck, does not believe that the common man has an inherent right to water. Brabeck stated in an interview for a documentary We Feed The World, that he believes water should only be something only the wealthy have access to. This is the same Nestle and Peter Brabeck which Jesse Ventura Conspiracy Theory episode “Blue Gold” featured in Ventura’s show about this rogue corporation. In the Ventura program, he exposed Nestle for bribing public officials in order to be able to take out massive amounts of water from the Great Lakes and sell it to countries such as China.

Of course it has been well-chronicled that the Bush family is moving to acquire massive amounts of water in South America including the continent’s larger underground water aquifer. The Bush family has built an expansive ranch on 100,000+ acres with the labor provided by the Army Corps of Engineers in another example of crony capitalism.

Conclusion

It is quite clear that while the EPA is moving towards the control of water, food and property rights, thus paving the way for globalist crony capitalists to obtain control over the nation's water and food supply, as well as usher in a society which has no private property rights.

It is also becoming increasingly clear that the globalists are buying up our water rights and are planning to sell it back to us at exorbitant rates. In this Hunger Games scenario, the elite will one day control all water, food and property rights and can, therefore, hold humanity hostage in servitude to the whims of the global elite.

Yet another article that does it's best to sensationalize the truth.  Roll Eyes

Whatever bone they have to pick with Pickens, that doesn't justify twisting the facts as they clearly do in that article.

I've casually followed this "story" for a few years now. Yes, Pickens has purchased a ton of land in the area of the Ogalala Aquifer, but in no way does the guy control it! That's just an outright lie. If he were the only land owner of land sitting over the aquifer, then maybe, but he doesn't. Not even close. That aquifer covers an area spread across at least 3 states.

T. Boone Pickens does NOT control the Ogalala Aquifer!

As for the building of an "eight-acre town", haven't seen the first mention of that till now. Considering the way this article is written, I have my doubts as to the truthfulness of their claims.

Quote
In 2006, Pickens bought off the Texas State Legislature for $1.2 billion.

THAT statement just might get them sued for libel!

They don't even bother to clarify just what they mean by "bought off". They just claim he did it, which would be illegal for him and politicians to do.

The people behind this article may not like Pickens, but that doesn't give them license to inflate and embellish the truth, and even lie about it.

Clean water sources obviously are important, and no question politician's actions are in question, but that doesn't justify altering the truth to satisfy one's own agenda.

But this one statement is just plain ignorant and stupid at the same time!...

Quote
(3) Since all property has some degree of water on it, the EPA is, in effect, the draconian landlord over everyone’s property.

Not all land has water on it! That is a lie, or at the very least an extreme exaggeration. In reality, most land DOES NOT have water on it, that's why water is at a premium because water is not just anywhere.

"all property", really? Let that author come to Arizona! Then let them show me just where all that water is they claim is there. Haven't these people ever heard of a desert?  Roll Eyes

God knows I hate these type op-ed conspiracy theory type articles. They belong at places like GLP and Infowars.  Roll Eyes

This seems way more Agenda 21 than, a global warming scam, oh wait, the whole thing is a scam. Still this looks like Agenda 21 hidden in a global warming scam

Obama Signs Global Warming Executive Order to ‘Prepare Nation’ for Effects of Climate Change

President Barack Obama signed an executive order Friday to “prepare the nation” for the dire consequences of global warming by establishing a new task force aimed in part at steering local communities toward making “smarter” investments to prepare for climate change-caused catastrophes.

“The impacts of climate change—including an increase in prolonged periods of excessively high temperatures, more heavy downpours, an increase in wildfires, more severe droughts, permafrost thawing, ocean acidification, and sea-level rise—are already affecting communities, natural resources, ecosystems, economies, and public health across the Nation,” the executive order states.

The 10-page order establishes the Task Force on Climate Preparedness and Resilience to advise the Obama administration. One of the goals of the order seems to be to set ground rules for cooperative development goals at the local level.

The order says to “identify opportunities to support and encourage smarter, more climate-resilient investments by States, local communities, and tribes, including by providing incentives through agency guidance, grants, technical assistance, performance measures, safety considerations, and other programs.”

The task force is comprised of seven Democratic governor of states, and one Republican governor of a territory, Gov. Eddie Calvo of Guam.

The Democratic governors are Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, Jerry Brown of California, Jay Inslee of Washington state, Jack Markell of Delaware, Martin O’Malley of Maryland, Pat Quinn of Illinois and Peter Shumlin of Vermont. The task force also includes local officials, including 14 mayors, two county officials and two tribal officials.

The order also tells federal agencies to identify changes to land and water policies and regulations “to strengthen climate resilience.” Additionally, it requires federal agencies to increase the amount of information with local communities to be prepared for climate problems.

“The E.O. instructs federal agencies to work together and with information users to develop new climate preparedness tools and information that state, local, and private-sector leaders need to make smart decisions,” a White House statement said. “In keeping with the president’s Open Data initiative, agencies will also make extensive Federal climate data accessible to the public through an easy-to-use online portal.”

This whole "climate change" deception is only covering up their real agenda - using HAARP and weather control modification. At our present time, their weather control modification has really gone out of control(ie-which has lead to massive fish and bird die-offs in the last couple of years).

'SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT' THE EVIL FACING AMERICA

by Tom DeWeese
October 21, 2013
NewsWithViews.com

On July 23, 2004, I addressed the fifth annual Freedom 21 Conference in Reno, Nevada. Freedom 21 was the first coalition of limited government/private property advocacy groups. Freedom 21 eventually sponsored 10 national conferences and educated and trained a cadre of leaders to fight Agenda 21. But in 2004, George Bush was in the White House two years after the devastation to individual liberty, free enterprise and private property that defined the Clinton Presidency. Yet, pre-TEA Party, so many Americans failed to understand the threat they faced. The movement was divided into fractured issues. Even the major Conservative organizations refused to mention Agenda 21 (some still do).

To this gathering I delivered a call to arms. We had circled the wagons so tightly, we only had one left. I said we needed to charge! Stop being on the defensive. Go straight at the Sustainablists. Take it to the people. Amazingly, this was 7 years before the tactics I called for in 2004 began to take shape. The TEA Party brought our people together in a unified force. Battles over Sustainable Development broke out in Spokane, Washington. Then Richard Rothschild and his gallant fellow Commissioners in Carroll County fired the first real shot as they ended the county’s membership in ICLEI – the first to do so. Today, more than 150 communities have taken that same action. Several state legislatures are introducing legislation to stop the spread of Sustainable Development. And the perpetrators like ICLEI and the American Planning Association are “concerned.”

Keep all of that in mind as you read this speech, given so early in the fight, when we hadn’t made a single advancement in our battle. When people in our own movement thought we were crazy conspiracy theorists. As the title of my book reads (which covers much the activity during this time) “Now Tell Me I was Wrong” Most importantly, take it to heart, because I could still give this speech today, calling for the same actions. We’ve made a lot of headway – but we still have a long way to go. —Tom DeWeese

My friends, we come here today from many walks of life. A wide variety of reasons got each of us started on the road to activism.

Some of us started simply because we noticed something funny about our child's curriculum in school. Some of us were outraged by government trying to take away our guns. A good many of us suddenly found government agents and members of private groups plotting to take away our land. Some have had their livestock confiscated. Some have found themselves facing jail just for doing what their fathers and grandfathers have done on the same land for decades.

Some of us just wanted to be allowed to go to church, pray to God and celebrate Christmas without being fined for it. A few of us would even like to be able to go to a restaurant and order food we like - even if it is greasy, fattening and full of carbs and calories.

All of us just want to live in an America where our rights and pursuit of happiness is protected. And so we fight. And now we've found ourselves here today in a room with hundreds of others in the same boat.

We Can’t Win This Way

I have one thing to tell you. You are not going to win in the manner we are fighting now. Because the other side has cut us up into little pieces. They've divided us and conquered us.

They've succeeded because you think your fight is against gun control. Because you think your fight is against bad schools. Because you think your fight is against the Endangered Species Act and roadless programs, and wetlands regulations, and water rights and Heritage Areas. Because you think your fight is against Democrats and not Republicans. Because you think it's a fight between evil liberals and good guy conservatives.

You're wrong. Your fight is against a well-planned, well orchestrated agenda for the complete transformation of America. And unless you learn that fact now, today... and unless you fully educate yourselves to every aspect of that agenda and fight it on the proper terms… then you cannot win!

I'm here to tell you that every one of these issues you are facing is interrelated. There is an agenda being implemented before your very eyes. It's called Sustainable Development.

And I will tell you now, if you want to keep your guns, your property, your children and your God… if you love liberty… then Sustainable Development is your enemy!

So what is Sustainable Development? Imagine an America in which a specific "ruling principle" is created to decide proper societal conduct for every citizen.

That principle would be used to consider everything you eat, what you wear, the kind of homes you live in, the method of transportation used to get to work, the way you dispose of waste, perhaps the number of children you may have, even your education and employment decisions.

Sustainable Development is that "ruling principle" for the implementation of what former Vice President Al Gore said we must all suffer through in order to purify our nation from the horrors of the Twentieth Century's industrial revolution.

In his book, "Earth in the Balance," Gore called it a "wrenching transformation of society." Those are pretty powerful words that should concern anyone who values liberty. It's a warning that the rules are changing. That a new power elite is taking control.

Perhaps you are beginning to notice such changes as you go about your daily routine, but haven't understood where those changes, and the ideas behind them, are coming from. But Sustainable Development is a very difficult concept to grasp. It's written in an almost foreign language - designed to mislead and refrain from alarming you.

Let me put it in the simplest language I possibly can. The Atkins Diet is not sustainable. Now, why do I say that? Because on page 350 of the UN's Global Biodiversity Assessment Report it says that the grazing of livestock, including cows, sheep, goats and horses, is not sustainable. One reason for that concept is because Sustainablists contend that the animals pollute streams and damage the river banks.

Getting us to stop eating beef is a major effort needed to fully implement the Sustainable Agenda. Since they are cowards who fear your reaction to an outright banning of eating meat, they have to try to trick you into thinking that not eating meat is your idea. So they use scare tactics. For years they have told you that eating meat raises your cholesterol. Fat is bad for you. Meat causes heart attacks. With PeTA's help they were succeeding in turning us all into little sissies eating salads.

Then along comes Dr. Atkins who shows us that a low carb beef diet will help you lose weight in a healthy way. Suddenly the nation has gone Atkins crazy. Beef sales are sky rocketing. The Sustainablists are in a tail spin. They've lost control of your eating habits.

Now watch what they are doing to get you back on track. Suddenly reports are being published in leading women's magazines about Atkins being dangerous to your health. Lawsuits have begun to pop up against the diet.

Do you see how it works? That's how the Sustainable Development agenda is implemented. Behavior modification based on fear. Freedom of choice is not part of Sustainable Development. And so I repeat, - the Atkins Diet is not sustainable.

Sustainable Development: A Life Plan Chosen By Someone Else

Now, perhaps you'll understand why there are Sustainable Development papers, guidelines and regulations to impose the ruling principle:

• On our public education system - to prepare our children to live in a sustainable world.
• On our economy - to create partnerships between business and government, making sure business becomes a tool to help implement the policies
• On the environment - leading to controls on private property and business.
• On health care - the new drive against obesity is leading directly toward controls on what we eat.
• On farming - Sustainable Development policies affect farmers' ability to produce more crops by regulating or banning free farming practices that have fed America and the world for 200 years.
• On our social and cultural environment - where political correctness is controlling policy, including hiring practices, immigration policy, multiculturalism, marriage laws, etc.
• On our mobility - with emphasis on carpools and public transportation and away from the freedom of personal transportation.
• And on public safety - where the rule of law and the court system is being challenged by new regulations that affect the right to privacy and unreasonable search and seizures.
• It's important to understand that these leading issues we face today are not just random concerns that find their way into the forefront of political debate. They are all interconnected to the policies of Sustainable Development.

And you must understand that Sustainable Development is the official policy of the government of the United States of America - and every state, city and small burg in the nation.

It is completely bi-partisan. It is being equally implemented by Republicans and Democrats. No matter the outcome of any election - the Sustainable Development agenda moves forward unabated.

What I am telling you here today is that Sustainable Development isn't just some land use policy. It is a complete transformation of American society; away from the rule of law; away from the ideals of property ownership, free enterprise, free travel and even free association.

Sustainable Development. It's a life plan. Planned by someone else. Not you.

Step By Step Stealth Enforcement

And Sustainable Development is not a myth, or a theory or a conspiracy - as I've heard some in our own movement call it.

Since the 1970's literally hundreds of issue papers, charters, guidelines and treaties have been presented at scores of international meetings, each becoming a building block in the creation of what would eventually become Sustainable Development.

Finally in 1992 the UN's Earth Summit in Brazil brought all of these ideas together in two major documents called "Agenda 21" and the "Biodiversity Treaty." Here the ideas were officially presented to world leaders that all government on every level, needed to be transformed into top-down control over housing, food production, energy, water, private property, education, population control, gun control, transportation, social welfare, medical care, and literally every aspect of our lives.

To get the full picture, add to these the UN's Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, both of which create UN-mandates on abortion, child rearing and government interference on families.

In 1993 President Clinton created the President's Council on Sustainable Development. From that Council came a flood of policy papers and recommendations to enforce it as government policy.

And the Clinton Administration didn't need Congress to get into the act. All Cabinet officials had to do was change some wording of existing programs and reroute already-approved funding to begin to implement the agenda - without Congress and without debate. Former Commerce Secretary Ron Brown told a meeting of the President's Council that he could implement 67% of the Sustainable Development agenda in his agency with no new legislation. Other agencies like Interior, EPA, HUD and more did the same thing. To help it all along, Clinton issued a blizzard of Executive Orders.

The American Heritage Rivers Initiative was born that way. So were roadless policies designed to stop logging in national forests. National parks have become core biosphere reserves designed to shut out any human activity. And the buffer zones around them are designed to shut off existing human activity, allowing the core to continually grow like a cancer tumor.

Any possible excuse to control human development or activities began to sprout up - from rails-to trails bikeways - to wet lands regulations - to historic preservation projects. Endangered species, real or made up, have been used to close down industry and steal private lands. Valuable natural resources have been locked away in national parks and preserves.

In this way an international agenda to transform the world into global governance under Sustainable Development policy took hold and became official policy of the United States of America.

The red states from the 2000 election are made up of the desperate Americans who rushed to the polls hoping to get a breath of fresh air - a champion to turn these smothering policies around. But in four years, other than throwing a few bones on roadless areas, President Bush has yet to undo a single Clinton Executive Order on Sustainable Development. It is still the official policy of the United States government.

Every day more of the agenda is implemented. This is what you are fighting at home - no matter what the issue. Almost every community in America now has some sort of "visioning statement" designed to control development and property use, while dictating rules for business, transportation, water use, food production, and much more.

Our public schools have been transformed, away from academic institutions, becoming, instead, factories that pump out a worker class to fill the needs of a centrally-controlled sustainable economy.

Christianity has come under attack because it is the foundation of Western civilization, which is the root of the ideas of limited government and individual freedom. Those ideals must be crushed in the new Sustainable world where individual thought would turn the well-ordered society of Sustainable Development into chaos. And in such a world, you dare not have any armed citizens. As I said, it is all one crushing transformation stemming from Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development.

It’s a House of Cards and They Know It!

But so many of us fail to see that. We just focus on our one issue, refusing to see that we are fighting a massive power structure.

Do you think it's just a coincidence that school curriculum makes no sense? If so, you're looking at it all wrong. You still think the schools are supposed to teach your children academics. You think your job is just to fix some misguided policies. The fact is the public school system is working perfectly for what it was designed to do. And, if you understand the Sustainablist agenda, it will all make perfect sense.

Do you think it's just a coincidence that all of these environmental regulations have popped up to lock away the land? Read Agenda 21 and you will find that every issue your facing, from endangered species, to wetlands, to grazing policy to water policy to smart growth to the expansion of national parks are all described in detail. Read it and everything will be as clear as a road map. Ignore it and you will be rolled on your single issue.

If you don't grasp the fact that you are dealing with an agenda that is driving all of these issues - and that they are not just single issues - then you cannot win! I am not saying change the issues you are involved in. Of course, keep fighting on your individual issues as you always have, but just know that there is an over-all agenda behind your adversaries.

Can you imagine what we could do if we all "got it"? If we all came to the realization that we are fighting the same foe, the same agenda? Divided we lose. United we can blow down their house of cards. Because that's what it is, a house of cards built on lies and very bad policy.

Do you know that, as we sit here feeling down and somewhat hopeless, that the other side is terrified of you? They fear that you will finally understand their agenda and that you will unify and begin to fight back as an effective force rather than in a bunch of splinter groups.

Did you know that the web has been burning up with e-mails and memos about Freedom 21 meeting here this week in Reno, at the Nugget? You see, the Nugget was the site of a series of meetings in the nineties called the Wise Use Movement. Those meetings were the first attempts for property rights advocates, and ranchers, and the timber, mining industries to organize and fight back. Those meetings were what brought me and lots of other folks in this room into the fight.

The Sustainablists did everything possible to vilify us as violent reactionaries who just wanted to pave the Earth. They call us the "astro-turf crowd." Now, here we are again with some of the original organizers of the Wise Use Movement on our program. That has set off the alarm bells in Sustainablist circles.

But now there are three times more of us and we're not just ranchers and timber people. I believe that the inclusion of Niger Innis and the Congress on Racial Equality (CORE) is one of the most important developments in the past ten years for our movement. In addition, we've joined forces with Second Amendment advocates and academic education activists and many more.

Down at the politburo their heads are spinning. One of the groups which has been sending out hysterical briefing memos on Freedom 21 is the Anti-Defamation League, one of the most vicious groups in the nation. There are many more such groups involved, but I have personally seen those from the ADL, so I mention them. They view themselves as the keepers of moral thought and they view you as equal to the KKK.

We Choose Freedom

Some of their lackeys may be among us today with the mission to report back to their handlers about what is said here at Freedom 21. Well here's the message I want them to take back. Tell them that this week at Freedom 21 our movement has been reborn.

Tell them that property rights and multiple-use activists understand that the Sustainable Development agenda is the core of all of the individual land use issues facing us; property rights activists "get it" and choose liberty over Sustainable Development.

Tell them that education activists now understand that the true agenda isn't just misguided education policies, but a transformation of the process to implement the Sustainablist agenda. Education activists "get it" and choose liberty over Sustainable Development.

Tell them that Christians understand that the assault on their religion is necessary to destroy Western Culture in order to replace it with Sustainablism. Christians "get it" and choose liberty over Sustainable Development.

Tell them that gun owners understand that the universal drive to disarm the nation is necessary in order to implement the Sustainablist agenda. Gun owners "get it" and choose liberty over Sustainable Development.

Tell them that Niger Innis and the Congress on Racial Equality understand that Sustainable Development is starving and killing blacks in Africa and around the world. CORE "gets it" and chooses liberty over Sustainable Development.

That's the message I want the lackeys to take back to those who are working every waking hour to enforce their philosophy of death on free Americans.

How To Fight Back

Now, let me quickly give you one idea that we might use to effectively fight back and stop Sustainable Development. There is a flaw in their implementation system. The fact is Congress does not pass laws making regulations mandatory for implementation of the Sustainable Development agenda. That would be a violation of the 10th Amendment. To get around it, Congress sets up a system of grants that come with strings. In order to get the money you have to "voluntarily" comply with the rules that go with it. The system has been set up with the help of groups like the Sierra Club, the National Education Association and Planned Parenthood, to name a few.

They all fully understand the game and its rules. And they have over 12,000 fellow organizations on the state and local level to agitate and enforce those rules by applying pressure to local community councilmen and commissioners. That's how the Sustainable Development agenda is being implemented in every single community and school in the nation.

My friends, there are about 3,300 counties in this nation. I propose that as we continue to pressure Congress and State Houses on our chosen issues, that we spend a major part of our efforts to elect county commissioners and city councilmen. We have to find men and women of integrity who understand the Sustainablist agenda. They would have to be activists who could resist the pressure and not accept the federal Trojan Horse of grant money. If we could do this successfully in just 10 or even 5 counties in the country, the news would spread like wildfire and more would join us.

No, it won't stop the Forest Service and the Park Service S.W.A.T. teams from invading your land, but it will begin to change the dynamics of the battle. Congress will respond. Whether you're supporting a third party or doing it through one of the two major parties, we would build an unstoppable power base that would spread across the nation.

I can tell you now, that if we keep trying to pressure Congress as our only tactic or try to elect a President who will listen, we will fail.

To save liberty in America, Sustainable Development must be stopped. We have to start at the local level where our grassroots efforts are strongest. Where it's easiest to win. We can find five county commissioners. We can get them elected one at a time. And then get more to join them. And we can begin to build a prairie fire across the nation.

Do these things my friends; first understand that whatever issue you have chosen to fight for is actually part of the Sustainable Development scheme.

Arm yourselves with that knowledge, and then step-by-step work to elect local representatives who will resist the Sustainablist agenda and its money. The money is the key. Take back your communities and in that way, step-by-step, take back America.

Environmentalists use 'science' to prophesy of apocalyptic ecological doom. Needless to say, mixing science with eschatology is pure science fiction. For a much better appreciation on how environmentalism may actually relate to the apocalypse, tune into my biblical lecture entitled, "Relating Baalism to Environmental Fascism and the Apocalypse" delivered in December of 2012 at the Dallas Pre-Trib Conference.

Just one comment from the above video - apparently, the oak tree is occult symbolism the environmental movement uses.(even Hitler worshiped the oak tree)

Was always wondering why an oak tree is on Rick Warren's PDL, until now...

Grand Canyon Mine Halted Due to Financial Restraints
11/6/13
http://www.webpronews.com/grand-canyon-mine-halted-due-to-financial-restraints-2013-11

The Grand Canyon is perhaps best known for its role as an amazing, awe-inspiring sight of nature’s beauty and power, a beautiful American landmark that brings flocks of tourists (and their wallets) to areas that might not otherwise have a chance at much revenue. A lesser-known aspect of the Grand Canyon, however, is the multiple mining projects that go on around the national landmark. Such endeavors are proving to be less profitable than is ideal, however, as one mining company has decided to halt its endeavors in the grand canyon due to financial restraints.

A uranium mining company, in the midst of sinking a shaft for a mine just south of the Grand Canyon National Park, put its work on hold due to “market conditions and the expense of litigation.” The company, Energy Fuels Resources Inc, stated that the project will be halted until December of 2014, over a year from now, or “until a ruling is issued in a federal case challenging the U.S. Forest Service’s decision to allow development of the Canyon Mine near Tusayan.” The company had previously stated that they planned to extract 83,000 tons of ore to create 1.6 million pounds of processed uranium (“yellow cake”), but the time frame will now need re-evaluating in the face of halted production.

Financial restraints might not be the only reason the mine has been halted, however. A local Native american tribe and multiple conservation groups have been working to halt the mine’s production for years, saying that the mine posed “potential harm to waters and wildlife of Grand Canyon, as well as cultural resources.” This constant backlash, as well as record-low prices for yellow cake uranium, have finally condemned the mine to a stand-still until some compromises can be met.

Sandy Bahr of the Sierra Club was quoted as saying, “Obviously this is an indication that it doesn’t look good from an economic perspective. We obviously think that it has never looked good from an environmental perspective. It would be nice if they would also recognize that aspect of it and make the shutdown permanent.” With prices low and the backlash strong, it seems like this mine may soon meet a permanent end.

Water Wars – Nine Thirsty Regions Where H20 Conflict Is Threatening

The Population Institute warns that the demand for fresh water already exceeds the supply by 17%. By 2030, 47% of the world’s population will be living in areas of high water stress, claims the OECD. Will armies battle each other, as the cry for “blue gold” gets furious? Will “water wars” be as prevalent as conflict for the “black gold” of oil? Two documentary films have wetted public interest - Blue Gold: World Water Wars, and Last Call at the Oasis, and a dystopia novel - The Water Wars - warns of its imminence. In actuality, history’s pages are already splashed with dozens of conflicts.  In 2,450 B.C. the Sumerian cities of Lagash and Umma warred over Tigris-Euphrates water. More recently, Senegal and Mauritaniabattled in 1989 over grazing rights in the Senegal River Valley – hundreds were killed, 250,000 fled their homes. The Pacific Institute provides an excellent map and timeline of 225 water skirmishes. In the future, here’s nine danger zones...

Obama Allows Great Lakes Water To Be Sold To China As Half The U.S. Faces Extreme Water Crisis

What in the world is Barack Obama thinking?  At a time when the United States is facing the greatest water crisis that it has ever known, Obama is allowing water from the Great Lakes to be drained, bottled and shipped to China and other countries around the globe.  Right now, the Great Lakes hold approximately 21 percent of the total supply of fresh water in the entire world.  Considering the fact that global water supplies are becoming extremely tight, that is an invaluable resource.  One recent UN report projected that two-thirds of the people in the world will be dealing with “water stress” and 1.8 billion people will be facing “absolute water scarcity” by the year 2025.  So why are we allowing foreign corporations such as Nestle to make millions upon millions of dollars pumping water out of the Great Lakes and selling it overseas?  Considering the massive worldwide water crisis that we know is coming in the years ahead, shouldn’t we be doing everything that we can to protect this precious natural resource?

Now that is just a party bias accusation. Obama isn't responsible, water has been free for the taking for years out of the Great Lakes. Several presidents are responsible for not restricting access to commercial operations.

The eco-friendly wood in rebuilt New Orleans homes is now rotting
1/3/14
http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/3/5270310/make-it-right-eco-friendly-wood-rotting-new-orleans-homes

Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation has built 100 energy-efficient and eco-friendly houses in New Orleans to replace homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Unfortunately, the organization believes that some of the wood it used is now rotting, reports The New Orleans Advocate.

The organization used TimberSIL, an innovative glass-infused wood product produced by a South Carolina manufacturer, to build porches and outside steps. The absence of chromated copper arsenate and other chemicals typically used to prevent rot and decay was a selling point for Make It Right.

The absence of chemicals for preventing decay was a selling point

"Instead of treating the wood with toxic chemicals, it's actually infused with sand, or silica, such that it takes on the properties of treated lumber," Tom Darden, the executive director of Make It Right, said in a 2010 interview. "At the end of its life cycle, which is estimated to be about 300 years, it can be mulched and composted, believe it or not."

Unfortunately, Make It Right has found that TimberSIL can't stand the moisture in the balmy city and has turned dark gray and begun falling apart. The organization has replaced wood in 30 homes and is considering legal action. TimberSIL has reportedly caused trouble for at least one other client: a project in Western Massachusetts that had to be repaired when the builders found the wood retained too much moisture and couldn't hold paint.

Say Goodbye to Your Car, House and Your Freedom

If Satan has an ally in the halls of government, it would be Agenda 21. Agenda 21 is pure evil as it seeks to destroy all property rights, limit private citizen’s ability to grow their own food and it takes away critical resources from the people such as water. Agenda 21 was created by the enemies of humanity and the friends of Satan.

The Price for Opposing Agenda 21

If your name is Stacy Lynne, you know all too well the evils of Agenda 21. Stacy used to fight against the implementation of Agenda 21 in her town of Fort Collins, Colorado. She was very effective in her fight to preserve her community’s personal liberties. She was so effective, that the Agenda 21 forces stole her son without so much of an allegation of wrongdoing. A judge had to be imported to Fort Collins who worked for IMF and World Bank to exact revenge against Stacy and her child for her anti-Agenda 21 activities. Stacy has not seen her son in 15 months, yet her parental rights have never been legally severed. The Agenda 21 forces of Fort Collins, Colorado, are brutal and inhuman.

Kim Fahey of Antelope Valley, CA., liked living off of the grid. He also enjoyed building his own home. He was so good at living off of the grid, that the officials from LA County sentenced him 543 days in jail for code violations. Yes, that’s right, code violations! His neighbors are being forced off of their land in Antelope Valley by Agenda 21 code enforcement SWAT teams.

The people living in 15 counties in Northern California and Southern Oregon are attempting to withdraw from their respective states and form a new state called the State of Jefferson. These citizens are doing so because they can better deal with the abuse coming from federal agencies such as the EPA if they are not under the control of the California and Oregon state governments.

Farmers and ranchers from the area, who have had their water rights awarded to them by the courts over a 100 years ago, are seeing their water disappear through administrative fiat. Benign activities such as hunting, fishing and other outside recreation have all but disappeared under these policies. As a result, the farmers and ranchers in this area are facing financial ruination.

These three cases merely form a microcosm of the abuses being perpetrated all across this country. Nobody can oppose the unconstitutional Agenda 21 without risking the loss of their child, going to jail or losing their property without compensation.

Thank God It’s Not Me

The lyrics to the once popular song, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, no longer applies. In fact, just the opposite appears to be true. It seems that only the rural residents are at risk. Unfortunately, that too is no longer true. If you own property and don’t live in a core inner city with all the crime and pollution, you are at risk for suffering the same kind of plight as Stacy, Kim and the residents of the wannabe State of Jefferson.

A New Plan

If you have seen the two Hunger Games movies, then you understand that the average citizen must be made to live in stack and pack apartments, that they do not own, while they reside inside of eleven mega-cities totaling six million people each in densely populated living conditions. This is not Hollywood fiction, this is happening right now in America.

The real brains behind the unfolding Agenda 21-inspired mass migration from the suburbs to the inner cities is Mike Kruglig and his new group of community advisers, Building One America. Most of you have never heard of Kruglig or Building One America and there is a good reason for their anonymity. If a majority of the American people ever discovered Kruglig’s true intentions for suburban dwelling Americans, they would chase him down the street and string he and his people up from the nearest light pole.

The secretive agenda of Building One America has been mostly achieved by Obama’s appointment of like-minded community activists to his staff. In fact, Kruglig was one of Obama’s original community organizing mentors from the President’s Chicago Southside days. The word stealth applies because of a damning photo depicting Kruglig and Obama meeting at the Whitehouse in 2011 which appeared on the Building One America website. (The photo is displayed above).  However, this type of publicity would not have been good for the swing voters living in America’s suburbs in the 2012 election. Obama’s people had the video scrubbed as well as the search engine links. However, the Breitbart people retained a copy of the picture. This begs the question, if the Building One America plan is so good for America, then why would the Obama people conceal his affiliation with Kruglig and his group of Agenda 21 social engineers?

Kruglig’s Agenda 21 Building One America group proposes the creation of a regional tax-base sharing revenues in which suburban tax money is directly redistributed to nearby cities and economically depressed concentric zones of inner-ring suburbs. Building One America also seeks to move the poor out of cities by imposing mandatory low-income-housing quotas for middle-class suburban developments.

Kruglig’s group also seeks to export the controversial regional tax-base sharing scheme currently in place in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area to the rest of the country. Under this program, a portion of suburban tax money flows into a common regional pot, which is then effectively redistributed to urban, and a few less well-off “inner-ring” suburban municipalities. The Minneapolis-St. Paul area regional government is run by unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats (i.e. Commissars) who are out of control. It is critical to know that removing the election process from this Agenda 21 wealth redistribution endeavor was deliberate for reasons that will become obvious.

The Specifics

Kruglik’s group also favors a variety of policies designed to force people out of their cars and force suburbanites, robbed of their own tax money, to relocate into densely populated stack and pack cities.

Among Kruglick’s strategies to separate people from their cars is the Vehicle Mileage Tax (VMT). Road pricing for the VMT would be implemented to force drivers out their cars. This will impact all drivers except for the Obama inspired exemption of low income drivers.

The VMT is designed to give favored status to certain groups. These groups represent organizations that want to transfer wealth through the heavy hand of administratively controlled regional government by interfering in the housing, transportation and the land use market place.

This tyranny is also being beta tested in the (San Francisco) Bay area in a project entitled One Bay Area Plan. One Bay Area Plan is a 25 year plan which combines housing, transportation, and Agenda 21 land use policies. The public cover story is that the project is designed to save the planet by reducing greenhouse gases.

The generated revenue, estimated at $15 million per day, would be used to fund further Agenda 21 transportation schemes such as buses, trolleys and light rail in which only a few people presently ride.

This plan also calls for Upzoning which would expand the plan to even more areas in the Bay. This would mean even more requirements for high density housing in cities that do not have their “fair share” of low income people. This will result in more 200 square foot apartments being constructed near public transit lines. It should be noted that New York City Mayor, Commissar Bloomberg, is doing something very similar in New York City in which the construction of any new apartment unit over 500 square feet is being forbidden in some neighborhoods.

This Bay Area Agenda 21 plan also contains a concept referred to as the Communities of Concern (i.e. low income and communities of color) would receive funds from these windfall profits that the region would receive. It appears as if Obama is trying to provoke a race war. Additionally, development fees would be eliminated for affordable (i.e. low income) housing developments, while subsidies would be used for favored activities such as the creation of more micro apartments and the construction of low income housing in the suburbs.

Sadly, the politicians who enact this tyrannical lunacy rarely understand the implications and the overall scheme of their bad political works. What these mental giants understand is that ICLEI, courtesy of our central bank, is throwing huge sums of money at various communities to enact these draconian pieces of legislation.

Agenda 21: California Law Would Abolish Private Property

Part of the United Nations’ Agenda 21 is the abolition of private property. Confiscation of private property will be done under the guise of “sustainability.” They’ll argue that having a large plot of land is an inefficient use of the land, and that your land would be better used if it were developed into something else.

Perhaps they’d prefer that a mass transit rail run right through your property. So they’d take your property over through eminent domain, forcing your out of your own house and off your property to somewhere else where they have much more dense housing, and use the land that was previously yours as they saw fit.

These types of tyrannical gestures are being implemented around our country at the local level. In California, there is a law that’s awaiting Governor Brown’s signature that would institute an agency at the county level that could seize private property basically on a whim and using “sustainability” as the excuse.

Writing for the San Rafael Patch, Richard Hall sums up SB 1 here:
A city mayor or county supervisor forms a new joint powers authority called a “Sustainable Communities Investment Authority” (SCIA), they appoint elected officials to serve on the SCIAs board.
If you live within 1/2 mile of a bus that runs every 15 minutes during peak commutes, or the SMART train or Caltrain in a single family home neighborhood your neighborhood can be targeted by the SCIA as inefficient land use and “blighted” as it is not high density multi-family housing. Almost everyone reading this in Marin (apart from some Steve Kinsey constituents in Western Marin) is therefore affected – I have seen the map with these 1/2 mile radiuses and it covers almost all Marinites.
The SCIA can then wield the power of eminent domain to purchase unused, for sale or even occupied land in order to build high-density multi-family housing – that it deems to be efficient land use.
The SCIA can then impose local taxes on us to pay not just for the eminent domain purchases but to help the land developer build by subsidizing the building of high density housing.
In order to meet criteria in SB1 allowing imposition of local taxes the SCIA must impose “a sustainable parking standards ordinance that restricts parking in transit priority project areas to encourage transit use to the greatest extent feasible.” Yes you read that right, “to the greatest extent feasible.” This could mean anything from reducing available parking, to introducing parking permits and parking meters.

This is, of course, nothing less than communism. They just don’t call it communism. They call it “social justice.”

Maryland Lawmakers Finally Consider Repealing So-Called ‘Rain Tax’

Maryland lawmakers in 2012 passed a bill to levy a fine on anything that prevented rain water from reaching the earth (i.e. roofs, patios, etc.), meaning many state residents had no choice but to literally pay a tax on rain.

However, the measure has apparently proven unpopular enough that a few state lawmakers finally proposed some serious changes this week.

Snow storms all up and down the East Coast forced Maryland’s state government to close Tuesday, but not before several committees held hearings on legislation calling for a repeal or modification of the Storm Water Management Watershed and Restoration Program.

One of the proposed measures, according to WBAL-TV, suggested that the 10 jurisdictions affected by the rain tax law use their own general funds to curb runoff.

“If a local jurisdiction says we can fund that in our general fund budget, we don’t have to have a new tax. Why would we force them to have a new tax? This just gives flexibility to local governments,” said the bill’s sponsor, state Sen. Alan Kittleman (R).

Another bill called for a two-year moratorium on the implementation of the original rain tax.

“Some of the counties have received threatening letters and fines of up to $32,000 a day. So I want to kind of put a stop to that until we get a chance to see what [the Maryland Department of Environment] expects from each county,” bill co-sponsor state Sen. Barry Glassman (R) said.

But attempts to modify or overturn the rain tax may face an uphill battle. Storms on Tuesday kept supporters of the new measures at home — but supporters of the rain tax made sure their presence was felt at the hearings.

“Delaying the fee requirement, delaying enforcement just allows our local water quality to languish,” Chesapeake Bay Foundation affiliate Alison Propts said.

State Senator Mike Miller (D) lashed out at jurisdictions that have so far ignored the rain tax mandate: “You ought to look inside at the mirror and maybe help us all.”

There was no immediate reschedule date for other bills. Meanwhile, state Sen. Miller and Maryland House Speaker Michael Busch, a Democrat, both declared the repeal legislation “dead on arrival,” WBAL-TV reported.

The rain tax is the result of the Environmental Protection Agency ordering Maryland in 2010 to curb storm water runoff into the Chesapeake Bay, explaining that the state needed to reduce its nitrogen levels by roughly 22 percent and its phosphorus levels by 15 percent.

The EPA estimated that the project would cost roughly $14.8 billion. In response to this hefty price tag, Maryland lawmakers designed a tax that could be levied on all “impervious surfaces” (i.e. a rain tax).

MORE MSM Propaganda...

Check Out the 420-Square-Foot NYC Transformable Apartment With 8 Rooms
1/24/14

New York City is infamous for its cramped living quarters and outrageous rents. Entrepreneur Graham Hill chose to make the most out of his rather small digs. The TreeHugger founder is raising eyebrows with his 420-square-foot apartment that can transform into eight different rooms.

"We also think we can get the functionality of a larger apartment in less space," explained Hill in a video posted to Gizmodo.com, noting that New Yorkers feel that they can manage small spaces better. "That’s really good for the environment. It’s also really good for their pocketbook."

When he says "really good for their pocketbook," we assume that he means relative to the average price for said space in Manhattan. Hill’s loft is in the more expensive neighborhood of SoHo.

"I think that simplifying your life gives you a little more time, a little more ease, and might actually make you a little happier," he said.

At first glance, Hill’s apartment looks like a simple studio. But then the entrepreneur begins moving aside bookshelves, opening cabinets, and removing furniture from drawers and closets. Hill uses an aforementioned bookshelf that moves from the wall to divide his living space in half and create a bedroom. The main bed comes down from a wall behind the couch. On the other side of the makeshift wall, two bunk beds fold down from the other permanent wall. In that set-up alone, Hill creates a bedroom and guest room, in addition to his kitchen space and bathroom. His kitchen has a dishwasher that operates on two gallons of water, a combo microwave/conventional oven, and a refrigerator built into a drawer. The bathroom consists of a sink, shower, and separate room with a toilet.

Hill obtained the apartment’s design through crowdsourcing.

"We got 300 entries from around the world — some really amazing stuff," he explained. "We ended up selecting these two Romanian architecture students, Adrian [Iancu] and Catalin [Sandu]."

The final result is based largely on the students’ prints. The apartment was purchased in 2009, and the first photos of the redesigned space hit the Internet three years later.

California drought: Past dry periods have lasted hundreds of years, scientists say

Past dry periods lasted hundreds of years

1/25/14

California's current drought is being billed as the driest period in the state's recorded rainfall history. But scientists who study the West's long-term climate patterns say the state has been parched for much longer stretches before that 163-year historical period began.

And they worry that the "megadroughts" typical of California's earlier history could come again.

Through studies of tree rings, sediment and other natural evidence, researchers have documented multiple droughts in California that lasted 10 or 20 years in a row during the past 1,000 years — compared to the mere three-year duration of the current dry spell.

The two most severe megadroughts make the Dust Bowl of the 1930s look tame: a 240-year-long drought that started in 850 and, 50 years after the conclusion of that one, another that stretched at least 180 years.

"We continue to run California as if the longest drought we are ever going to encounter is about seven years," said Scott Stine, a professor of geography and environmental studies at CSU East Bay. "We're living in a dream world."

California in 2013 received less rain than in any year since it became a state in 1850. And at least one San Francisco Bay Area scientist says that based on tree ring data, the current rainfall season is on pace to be the driest since 1580 — more than 150 years before George Washington was born. The question is: How much longer will it last?

A megadrought today would have catastrophic effects.

California, the nation's most populous state with 38 million residents, has built a massive economy, Silicon Valley, Hollywood and millions of acres of farmland, all in a semiarid area. The state's dams, canals and reservoirs have never been tested by the kind of prolonged drought that experts say will almost certainly occur again.

Stine, who has spent decades studying tree stumps in Mono Lake, Tenaya Lake, the Walker River and other parts of the Sierra Nevada, said the past century has been among the wettest of the last 7,000 years.

Looking back, the long-term record also shows some staggeringly wet periods. The decades between the two medieval megadroughts, for example, delivered years of above-normal rainfall — the kind that would cause devastating floods today.

The longest droughts of the 20th century, what Californians think of as severe, occurred from 1987 to 1992 and from 1928 to 1934. Both, Stine said, are minor compared to the ancient droughts of 850 to 1090 and 1140 to 1320.

Modern megadrought

What would happen if the current drought continued for another 10 years or more?

Without question, longtime water experts say, farmers would bear the brunt. Cities would suffer but adapt.

The reason: Although many Californians think population growth is the main driver of water demand statewide, it actually is agriculture. In an average year, farmers use 80 percent of the water consumed by people and businesses — 34 million of 43 million acre-feet diverted from rivers, lakes and groundwater, according to the state Department of Water Resources.

"Cities would be inconvenienced greatly and suffer some. Smaller cities would get it worse, but farmers would take the biggest hit," said Maurice Roos, the department's chief hydrologist. "Cities can always afford to spend a lot of money to buy what water is left."

Roos, who has worked at the department since 1957, said the prospect of megadroughts is another reason to build more storage — both underground and in reservoirs — to catch rain in wet years.

In a megadrought, there would be much less water in the Delta to pump. Farmers' allotments would shrink to nothing. Large reservoirs like Shasta, Oroville and San Luis would eventually go dry after five or more years of little or no rain.

Farmers would fallow millions of acres, letting row crops die first. They would pump massive amounts of groundwater to keep orchards alive, but eventually those wells would go dry. And although deeper wells could be dug, the costs could exceed the value of their crops. Banks would refuse to loan the farmers money.

The federal government would almost certainly provide billions of dollars in emergency aid to farm communities.

"Some small towns in the Central Valley would really suffer. They would basically go away," said Jay Lund, a professor of civil and environmental engineering at UC Davis.

"But agriculture is only 3 percent of California's economy today," Lund said. "In the main urban economy, most people would learn to live with less water. It would be expensive and inconvenient, but we'd do it."

Farmers with senior water rights would make a huge profit, he said, selling water at sky-high prices to cities. Food costs would rise, but there wouldn't be shortages, Lund said, because Californians already buy lots of food from other states and countries and would buy even more from them.

Fallback plans

In urban areas, most cities would eventually see water rationing at 50 percent of current levels. Golf courses would shut down. Cities would pass laws banning watering or installing lawns, which use half of most homes' water. Across the state, rivers and streams would dry up, wiping out salmon runs. Cities would race to build new water supply projects.

If a drought lasted decades, the state could always build dozens of desalination plants, which would cost billions of dollars, said law professor Barton "Buzz" Thompson, co-director of Stanford University's Woods Institute for the Environment.

Saudi Arabia, Israel and other Middle Eastern countries depend on desalination, but water from desal plants costs roughly five times more than urban Californians pay for water now. Thompson said that makes desal projects unfeasible for most of the state now, especially when other options like recycled wastewater and conservation can provide more water at a much lower cost.

But in an emergency, price becomes no object.

"In theory, cities cannot run out of water," Thompson said. "All we can do is run out of cheap water, or not have as much water as we need when we really want it."

Over the past 10 years, he noted, Australia has been coping with a severe drought. Urban residents there cut their water demand massively, built new supply projects and survived.

"I don't think we'll ever get to a point here where you turn on the tap and air comes out," he said.

Megadrought now

Some scientists believe we are already in a megadrought, although that view is not universally accepted.

Bill Patzert, a research scientist and oceanographer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, says the West is in a 20-year drought that began in 2000. He cites the fact that a phenomenon known as a "negative Pacific decadal oscillation" is underway — and that historically has been linked to extreme high-pressure ridges that block storms.

Such events, which cause pools of warm water in the North Pacific Ocean and cool water along the California coast, are not the result of global warming, Patzert said. But climate change caused by the burning of fossil fuels has been linked to longer heat waves. That wild card wasn't around years ago.

"Long before the Industrial Revolution, we were vulnerable to long extended periods of drought. And now we have another experiment with all this CO2 in the atmosphere where there are potentially even more wild swings in there," said Graham Kent, a University of Nevada geophysicist who has studied submerged ancient trees in Fallen Leaf Lake near Lake Tahoe.

Already, the 2013-14 rainfall season is shaping up to be the driest in 434 years, based on tree ring data, according to Lynn Ingram, a paleoclimatologist at UC Berkeley.

"It's important to be aware of what the climate is capable of," she said, "so that we can prepare for it."

Agenda 21 Is Increasing the Scope of Its Enslavement of America

The Common Sense Show
http://thecommonsenseshow.com/2014/01/29/agenda-21-is-increasing-the-scope-of-its-enslavement-of-america/www.thecommonsenseshow.com

Agenda 21 destroys people from all walks of life. Its policies are draconian. Its unconstitutional dictates are carried out with impunity. Agenda 21 seeks to destroy the family by separating children from parents. Its allies are destroying private property rights. Agenda 21 wants to remove all people from rural areas through the enforcement of the anti-small farmer administratively contrived policies frequently concocted by bureaucrats who are outside the reach of the electorate. Agenda 21 proponents allow no discourse as to the veracity and legitimacy of its policies. Agenda 21 advocates pursue a course of extreme revenge against those who speak out against its policies. Agenda 21 is the driving force behind the ridiculous and mindless control policies besieging America under the guise of HOA regulations. Agenda 21 is the administrative arm of the climate change extremists who use pseudoscience to pursue policies related to the elimination of private property rights. As some of you already know, Agenda 21 seeks to remove nearly all energy usage from the populace. Ultimately, Agenda 21 creators seek to reduce the population by 90%. Agenda 21 is the enemy of humanity and this article is a snap shot of how the Agenda 21 forces are attacking people on an individual, a state and a regional basis.

Agenda 21 Attacks Its Detractors by Separating Families

Anti-Agenda 21 activist, Stacy Lynne, defeated several Agenda 21 proposals in Fort Collins, Colorado, which would have cost the local community hundreds of jobs. And what was her reward? Did she get a commendation from the city council? Did she get a meritorious service award from Mayor? What she received was one of the most heinous political retaliations in recent history. Her son, Jaden, was stolen by the Agenda 21 controlled courts in Larimer County, Colorado. Her son was taken without so much as allegation of wrong doing and the part of Stacy. Despite never having had her parental rights severed,  she has not been allowed to see her son in 16 months.

Agenda 21 Attacks “Off the Grid” Americans

Kim Fahey, located in Antelope Valley, CA., constructed one of the most unique homes in the United States. He received notoriety for the design of his home which became affectionately known as Phonehenge. Fahey was also living off the grid, a huge violation of Agenda 21 protocols. The Agenda 21 beholding LA County Sheriff Swat team subsequently descended upon Fahey and arrested him for code violations. He was sentenced to 543 days in jail because he could not afford to haul away the debris of his home which was demolished by the County. However, the real target, was his off the grid lifestyle.

Agenda 21 Attacks Small Farmers

I  would like to say that all of these events are somewhat operating in isolation. However, they are becoming all too commonplace. Consider the case of Martha Boneta. Martha is a farmer who has fought the Agenda 21 corrupt forces of Fauquier County, Virginia.Fauquier County is fining Martha for the following offenses:

1. Selling farm produce and advertising her pumpkin shavings.

2. Hosting a birthday party for a grand total of eight 10-year-old girls.

The reality is that Martha isn’t breaking any laws. On the other hand, Fauquier County is breaking its own zoning ordinances, the Virginia Right to Farm Act, and the Virginia and United States Constitution. Martha Boneta’s actions are perfectly legal. However, the Agenda 21 forces do not care about what is legal as they live under the creed that might makes right.

Fauquier County government is fining her with $5,500 per-day fines for hosting the birthday party without a permit. She is also being fined for  advertising her pumpkin carvings, despite the fact that she has a business license. Are you kidding me? One has to now get a permit to host a birthday party?

Here’s a link to a recent video with Martha Boneta telling her story on Fox and Friends.

In the video, Martha makes the claim that she now owes $2 million dollars to the County in fines. Since that time, she was also audited by the IRS in her role as a Tea Party member. Subsequently, the County authorities tried to have her mortgage revoked. This is classic Agenda 21 retaliation perpetrated against those that dare to speak out.

Because of the notoriety and attention brought to this case, the Virginia State Legislature is considering a bill that will hold local governments in check by making local governments accountable and will hold government officials personally liable when they intentionally violate the rights of landowners.

Agenda 21 Forces Steal A Million Acres and An Entire Town

The EPA and the Department of Justice and Department of Interior, have decided it would be a good idea if it seized an entire town, including everyone’s property and turn it over to an Indian Nation. The EPA did exactly this without telling the mayor or any other elected official.

The town in question is Riverton, Wyoming and this transfer of ownership was accomplished under the authority of the Clean Air Act which “allowed” the EPA to hand over Riverton to the Wind River Indian Reservation. This land grab amounts to the transfer of ownership of over one million acres and impacts over 10,000 Americans.

In the case of Riverton, WY., the EPA has a powerful ally in the form of President Obama through the use of Executive Order (EO)13603. This EO combined with the heinous actions of the EPA have now been used to steal an entire town and over a million acres from Wyoming. If mutli-state areas as well as a state can be subjugated by Agenda 21, then none of us are safe.

Agenda 21 Attacks An Entire Region of the Country

Agenda 21 forces have become so brazen so as to attempt to destroy the farmers and ranchers in Northern California and Southern Oregon. In other words, Agenda 21 advocates are attempting to destroy an entire area of the country!

At a public meeting in September of 2013, the Siskiyou County board of supervisors approved a secession declaration, designed to leave California, the Redding Record Searchlight reported.
The fervor to leave the state of California was also fueled by Modoc County Supervisors  who voted 4-0 in favor in secession. Federal government abuse of property rights is fueling this rebellion in Northern California and Southern Oregon.

“Over the years, many rural residents have been frustrated by federal environmental laws restricting logging and other forestry activities. The local residents feel that becoming a state would finally allow them to push the Agenda 21 controlled federal government to alter the onerous restrictions on government-owned land.

The residents of Northern California and Southern Oregon are united in escaping the ravages of agenda 21. Effectively, hunting and fishing have been eliminated by the Agenda 21 enforcement agent, the EPA. Farmers and ranchers are being denied previously adjudicated water rights in an attempt to depopulate the rural areas of this region. The Agenda 21 forces will not stop until the entire region becomes a dead zone.

Conclusion

There was a time, not so long ago, if you mentioned Agenda 21, you were labeled a tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist. Only two years ago, I was at a town hall meeting and Senator McCain was asked about Agenda 21 and he said that he did not know what Agenda 21 was. Today, Agenda  is out in the open for all who want to see.

In this article, I have traced instances of individual persecution, harassment of farmers, the theft of an entire town and the subjugation and destruction of an entire region of the country by Agenda 21 forces. And despite all  of the evidence, most people have never heard of Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 is attempting to turn American society upside down. If the average person could be made aware of the principles underlying Agenda 21, every city council member, every mayor, every state legislator would be be too afraid to promote anything close to an Agenda 21 policy. My friends, we have a lot of work to do.

And from what I've heard, these 501c3 churches are involved as well promoting Agenda 21 - they may not know A21 directly, but indirectly(at least), they're promoting it with their "working together for the community for the common good" moto. Come to think of it, this is Rick Warren's 3 legged-stool plan - for the private sector, government, and churches to form a partnership together. Yeah, definitely beware of these churches that promote such!
