September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Aluminum is a known neurotoxin that destroys cellular metabolism and function. Hundreds of studies link to the ravaging effects of aluminum. The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

The one thing that realy got to me, besides angels with wings, and woman angels, were the "space ships". To quote the most famous of Captains,

This looks super new-agey....

OH DEAR LORD!!!

Run from this game and do not look back.

I will admit that the graphics are stunning, but that is where it ends.

The main person you interact with is a woman named Axis? She is dressed more for a burlesque show, than what you will see in Heaven. The whole game is centered around her. Some comments from the actual game site "Axis is more than just a pretty face", "Dad and kids will love this game".

No this just has a very bad feeling to it.

You arrive in Heaven by a star ship. Really? That right their should tell you something. There isnt a lot of info on this yet, but I will not be buying or playing. Avoid at all costs.

This game might be from the pits of hell. First thing I noticed that the attention is focused on this woman. Her flesh looks to appealing and magnetic to the eye. I did check the game out and I was actually surprised how pro Jesus it was. This game is constantly quoting scripture and praising Jesus in His name. You are right though Dok in every way, I'm sure there lies dangers in playing this game. This is a puzzle game which was strange to me because God is not a author of confusion. Maybe the game makers needed some sort of feature to make the surroundings exciting. As I was running around this virtual some what heavenly city (as weird as that sounds) I noticed dozens of golden statues in the shape of a muscular man with wings reaching for the sky. I can't imagine God having Golden statues in his Kingdom but what do I know. Just a gut feeling I guess. Unless I missed scripture somewhere. I am going to finish this game just to see what other hidden messaged their might be. I know it sounds dumb but it's sorta of a investigation to see how Satan is attacking people through this game. It's hard to trust any game now a days.

So why does God need star ships?

Id say the statue is Satan reaching for Heaven. I cant imagine a statue in heaven let alone one of an Angel.

And that girl "Axis" really bothers me. Why would they call her Axis? Thats the name given to Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and the Empire of Japan. Its not a name associated with nice things. Just makes no sense.

In reality I would be looked at as a thief and a robber running around in God's Kingdom as corrupted flesh.

Look familiar?...

Video game development is what I was trained to do in the world, and I have asked God about this very topic of games. How can a believer participate in making video games, even "Christian" games, and still be edifying and expedient? The short answer I received was a reminder that whatsoever is not of faith is sin. And in rememberence of the verse that tells us "...if thou mayest be made free, use it rather".

So my point is that I have researched to some degree the "Christian" gaming industry, and what I found was not surprising really. Just an extension of the organized church itself. The developer community is really small as it is with few "Christian" game dev companies out there. When I have thought about how to apply our faith to a game concept, it quickly becomes difficult to stay in faith and at the same time apply the techniques of secular game development. Every "Christian" game I've looked at so far has been just a "Christian" repackage of a worldly game design.

The problem I also run into is that game theory teaches the techniques of promoting interaction and usually some kind of combat, which promotes the attitude of "I can be good or better than others" and encourages the player to rely on his carnal skills of "works" or to "level up". It literally teaches players to trust their own works over the reality that God does the work, not us.

We know that "an idol is nothing", but there is more edifying and expedient things we are exhorted to do I believe. Needless to say, I had to take a step back from game development work and re-evaluate whether I'm in the faith as a trained digital animator and multimedia professional. Jesus keeps pointing back to His words and not towards the works of the world. I believe that I am indeed called to be Christ's servant. I also believe that Jesus is calling us to let the dead bury their dead and follow Him.
