Fatima Movement claims prophecy predicts that the Vatican will be destroyed this month

According to the Fatima Movement, the Vatican is going to be destroyed on August 17. Its website even has a countdown clock that marks doomsday down to the millisecond.

The Fatima Movement making this prediction is not the same as the Fatima Movement of Priests. Its doomsday prophecy allegedly comes from "the Mother of God" written in a 1944 document and "released on April 21, 2010 for the people." The Fatima Movement claims that its prediction about the Vatican is based on the real Third Secret of Fatima and that the version released by the Vatican is not true.

    The Three Secrets of Fátima consist of a series of visions and prophecies given by an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to three young Portuguese shepherds, Lúcia Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto, starting on 13 May 1917. The three children claimed to have been visited by a Marian apparition six times between May and October 1917. The apparition is now popularly known as Our Lady of Fátima.

    According to the official, orthodox interpretation, the three secrets involve; Hell, World War I and World War II, and the shooting of Pope John Paul II.

    On 13 July 1917, around noon, the lady is said to have entrusted the children with three secrets. Two of the secrets were revealed in 1941 in a document written by Lúcia, at the request of José da Silva, Bishop of Leiria, to assist with the publication of a new edition of a book on Jacinta. When asked by the Bishop of Leiria in 1943 to reveal the third secret, Lúcia struggled for a short period, being "not yet convinced that God had clearly authorized her to act." However, in October 1943 the bishop of Leiria ordered her to put it in writing. Lucia then wrote the secret down and sealed it in an envelope not to be opened until 1960, when "it will appear clearer." The text of the third secret was officially released by Pope John Paul II in 2000, although some claim that it was not the entire secret revealed by Lucia, despite repeated assertions from the Vatican to the contrary.

The Fatima Movement claims to have access to the translation of an authentic copy of the Third Secret from which it bases its August 17 prediction.  It is a one-page document, quite different from the Vatican's four-paged version. Its Third Secret is transcribed as:

    During the kingdom of John Paul II the cornerstone from Peter's tomb must be removed and transferred to Fatima.  Because the Dogma of faith is not preserved in Rome, her authority will be removed and given to Portugal.

    The cathedral of Rome must be destroyed and a new one built in Fatima.

    If 69 weeks after this command is announced Rome continues it's abomination, the city will be destroyed.

    Our Lady told us this is written, Daniel 9 24-25 and Mathew 21 42-44.

Every time I read that Mystery Babylon passage in Revelation, for some reason, I keep thinking it will be destroyed BEFORE the final tribulation act(3.5 or 7 years) begins.

I mean the Vatican is really pushing ecumenicalism, especially with Islam(yes, all religions, but it's doing its hardest with Islam of all the pagan ones). Ultimately, Islam AIN'T gonna be friends with ANYONE - the more you give them stuff on a silver platter, the more they'll take more miles from you.(ie-in their Koran, they say how in the end days, the infidel needs to be slayed)

Pt being that the Roman Catholic Church system is gonna be in for a big surprise if they really think Islam will be their close buddies.

Anyhow, it could very well be the case when Rome gets destroyed, the 3.5 - 7 year NWO tribulation could kick off.

And no, I'm not saying some Islamic leader, whether it's Obama or Farakhan, will be the antichrist or false prophet.
