Pro 1:11  If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Pro 1:12  Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
Pro 1:13  We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:
Pro 1:14  Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:
Pro 1:15  My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
Pro 1:16  For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.
Pro 1:17  Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
Pro 1:18  And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.

'We are above the law of the land'
Muslim's stunning claim at Texas rally for Islam

A leader for the Texas branch of the Council on American Islamic Relations has told a crowd at a rally for Islam that members of the faith really shouldn’t be bound by American law.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, the executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch, a keynote speaker as the recent rally.

The event was a rally in Austin, a part of the nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events.

CAIR itself has been under investigation for its documented ties to terrorist organizations in the past. Some details revealed by Daniel Pipes are that:

CAIR funded the Holy Land Foundation, which was used to funnel money to Hamas. President Bush shut down Holy Land Foundation, which CAIR called “unjust” and “disturbing.”
CAIR denied Osama Bin Laden was behind 9/11, even though Bin Laden said so on camera.
CAIR demanded removal of a billboard in Los Angeles in 1998 that described Osama bin Laden as “the sworn enemy,” saying that this description was “offensive to Muslims.” [Osama had by this point released his Declaration of War on the United States.]
CAIR called the conviction of the 1993 WTC bombers “a travesty of justice.”
CAIR called the conviction of Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind sheikh who planned to blow up New York City landmarks, a “hate crime.”
CAIR labeled the extradition order for suspected Hamas terrorist Mousa Abu Marook “anti-Islamic” and “anti-American.”

CAIR also had on its advisory board Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the attempted 1993 WTC bombings. It was the same Siraj Wahhaj who was asked to deliver the “Juma,” or invocation at the Democratic National Convention for President Obama. He also once remarked, “It is my duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Quran.”

CAIR is a bunch of racists like the ADL.

While I agree that a religion isn't bound by a state's laws, the big difference in Christians answering to a higher law and Islam is that Islam wants to institute their way of life for all mankind on earth in a earthly carnal kingdom, while Christians look to a new heaven and earth.

Florida: Mega church pastor partners with former CAIR chairman to oppose “anti-sharia” bill
http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com/2013/03/30/florida-mega-church-pastor-partners-with-former-cair-chairman-to-oppose-anti-sharia-bill/

Dr. Joel C. Hunter, senior pastor of the Northland Church in Longwood, Florida, asked Atif Fareed, former Chairman of CAIR Florida, to read Hunter’s statement opposing SB 58 Application of Foreign Laws in Certain Cases to the Florida Senate Committee on Governmental Oversight and Accountability on March 21, 2013.

Mega church senior pastor of 15,000 evangelical Christians partners with Islamist to oppose anti-Sharia bill in Florida Legislature.Perhaps you can educate Dr. Hunter with facts regarding Islam, Jihad, Islamists, CAIR, Sharia and Taqiyya.

Dr.

Atif Fareed told the committee:

But I want to read something very important to you today.  I am a Muslim, but a senior pastor of an evangelical church, the Northland Church, Dr. Joel C. Hunter, he sent me an email yesterday afternoon and he wanted me to read this to you.  And this is how his letter goes exactly word by word:

“To my state senators:  As a pastor of one of the largest churches in Florida I believe  Senate Bill 58 will do more harm than good if enacted.  Its effect will be to increase bias rather than protection.  It seems to me to be a cure without a disease.  Existing law and judicial precedent have proved sufficient to deal with any concerns addressed by this proposed law.   Having confidence in both our constitution and the character of our judicial process I agree with the America Bar Association, the Anti-Defamation League and the American Civil Liberties Union that this law and House Bill 351 will be detrimental rather than the good intended.  As a conservative evangelical Christian it is unusual for me to side with the ACLU but I think objecting to unnecessary law is a conservative principle as well as a libertarian one.  In deed not making laws unless they are absolutely necessary is at the core of our character as a country.  Thank you for considering my views.  Dr. Joel C. Hunter, Senior Pastor Northland Church distributed.

To see the video recording of Atif Fareed’s presentation to the Senate Committee click here and advance the video to the 68 minute mark.

“I could not wait until the committee meeting was over to inquire if Joel Hunter actually authorized or requested Atif Fareed to present this statement to Florida Senators.”  Notes David Caton, Florida Family Association President.  “I sent the below email to Joel Hunter to which he affirmed Yes in less than five minutes.  He must be really proud to align with the Council on American Islamic Relations.”

Hunter claims he is a “conservative evangelical Christian…” yet:

He continues as a spiritual advisor to the President.”

AH! THAT'S the reason. He's an Obama minion. Go figure. Yet again, supporting Islam and Obama end up in the same conversation.

But talk about sellout. How can a claimed Christian support anything Muslim? But to throw support behind Islam and Sharia law? That is no Christian. That's a wolf in sheep's clothing, or a demon in a suit and tie. Disgusting.

Deal approved in Muslims' suit against McDonald's

A judge on Wednesday finalized a $700,000 settlement between McDonald's Corp. and members of Michigan's Muslim community over claims a suburban Detroit restaurant falsely advertised its food as prepared according to Islamic law.

Ahmed Ahmed, the Dearborn Heights man who represents plaintiffs in the class-action suit, claims he bought a chicken sandwich in September 2011 at the restaurant but found it wasn't halal. Islam forbids consumption of pork, and God's name must be invoked before an animal providing meat for consumption is slaughtered.

The McDonald's restaurant chain and one of its franchise owners agreed in January to the tentative settlement that would be shared by Ahmed, as well as a Muslim-run Detroit health clinic, the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn and lawyers.

The two sides met Wednesday for final approval before Wayne County Circuit Judge Kathleen Macdonald, who has overseen the case and refereed objections by outside groups since a preliminary deal was announced in January. The settlement was originally set to be finalized March 1, but Macdonald extended the public comment period after pressure from Dearborn lawyer Majed Moughni, who criticized the class-action settlement on Facebook and was temporarily barred from communicating publicly about the case.

Ahmed's portion of the settlement is considered an "incentive award" and represents his work on the case, his attorneys say.

"As a firm, we've borne the burden of litigating this case for over 19 months, and have paid a steep price in time and money to do so," Kassem Dakhlallah, an attorney whose firm represents Ahmed and the class, told The Associated Press in an email. "We are happy that we are able to finalize this case and get the settlement funds paid to the Huda Clinic to be used for medical care for the community, and to the Arab American National Museum to be used to allow our young ones to continue their educations after high school."

Macdonald said she was "proud to preside over" the long case and resolution reached by both sides.

The lawsuit technically covered anyone who bought the halal-advertised products between September 2005 and January from the restaurant and another McDonald's in the city with a different owner. The other location wasn't a defendant or a focus of the investigation.

Dakhlallah has said he was approached by Ahmed, and they conducted an investigation. A letter sent to McDonald's and the restaurant franchisee, Finley's Management, by Dakhlallah's firm said Ahmed had "confirmed from a source familiar with the inventory" that the restaurant had sold non-halal food "on many occasions."

In the settlement notice, Finley's Management said it "has a carefully designed system for preparing and serving halal such that halal chicken products are labeled, stored, refrigerated, and cooked in halal-only areas." The company added it trains its employees on preparing halal food and "requires strict adherence to the process."

McDonald's attorney Thomas McNeill said the investigations and negotiations proved that if a problem arose, "it was isolated and rare."

Dakhlallah said giving money to the charities is the best outcome, since most people wouldn't have kept their receipts, making "identifying class members who have valid claims nearly impossible."

Moughni argues that Dakhlallah and his colleagues could have made greater attempts to find those who were harmed and, failing that, identified more relevant organizations, such as Dearborn's public schools. He said the clinic is several miles away from the restaurant and the museum has nothing to do with halal food.

Macdonald disagreed, calling the charities "appropriate recipients," but Moughni said he's considering an appeal.

"We think it's wrong," he said. "It's unfair for the class members."

There are only two McDonald's in the United States that sell halal products and both are in Dearborn, which has one of the nation's largest Arab and Muslim communities. Overall, the Detroit area is home to about 150,000 Muslims of many ethnicities.

Is there a McDonalds in the US that serves kosher food just for Jews? Nope...

http://www.jewlicious.com/2009/11/kosher-mcdonalds-outside-of-israel/

According to a 2002 report, there is nearly 2 million Jews in New York, and not a single kosher menu in the whole US.

And they have two halal McDonald's? In such a small US city? Something doesn't add up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population_by_urban_areas

Dearborn Michigan has a population of less than 100,000 people TOTAL. Michigan itself has about 10 million residents.

So, why is McDonald's bowing to Islam at all in the US? Statistically speaking, they are pretty much a small, nearly non-existent group.

And then there is this kind of stuff...

The "Gang of Eight" want to spend 50 million on helping illegal immigrants file for the amnesty the bill is offering.

How are these politicians still in office?

http://news.yahoo.com/immigration-bill-spend-50-million-advise-illegals-055033744.html

Quote
The Senate’s Gang of Eight immigration bill offers $50 million in taxpayer-funded assistance to help illegal immigrants file for the multi-stage amnesty offered by the controversial bill.

The proposed spending is intended to help illegals get “registered provisional immigration status,” which is the first stage of the legalization process.

The money can be given to activist groups to support immigrants who need help “completing applications and petitions, including providing assistance in obtaining the requisite documents and supporting evidence … applying for any waivers for which applicants and qualifying family members may be eligible,” according to Section 2106, beginning on page 131 of the complex 844-page bill.

The very long bill also includes language granting the Secretary of Homeland Security the authority to spend the money on other priorities.

The money can be used for “providing any other assistance that the Secretary or grantees consider useful or necessary to apply for registered provisional immigrant status,” the bill says.

Also, in more good news for illegal immigrants, the $50 million may be just a down payment. Section 2106(d)2(A) of the law provides a five-year authorization to congressional appropriations committees to spend even more taxpayer funds to help activist groups guide illegal immigrants in their quests for green cards as well as access to taxpayer aid and welfare programs.

“In addition to the amounts made available under paragraph (1), there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2014 through 2018 to carry out this section.”

The money is to be distributed by the secretary first “to eligible public or private nonprofit organizations.”

THAT is stone cold socialism, and a theft of public funds in an attempt to manipulate the situation through doling out federal cash to select people, all in the effort to help foreigners who are here illegally.

'The Quran is our constitution'

Tracing roots of Islamism inside the U.S.

“God is our Goal. The Prophet is our leader. The Quran is our constitution. Jihad is our way. Death in the service of God is the loftiest of our wishes. God is great, God is great.”

This is the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded in Egypt as a vehicle to establish a worldwide Islamic empire governed by Shariah law. In “The Grand Deception”, a 70-minute film by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), Steve Emerson traces the roots of Islamism inside the United States. This film examines the extent of Islamist influence within the country and highlights the danger it for all Americans.

Emerson, who broke the story of the U.S. suddenly deporting the original “person of interest” in connection with the April 15 Boston Marathon bombing, illustrates how the Brotherhood has transformed Islam into a political agenda, and this mix of religion and politics has become known as Islamism. Since the Brotherhood’s founding in 1928, it has established a presence in more than 70 countries, and countless organizations worldwide have adopted its strategy and goals.

“The Grand Deception” uncovers that today; organizations created by or inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood enjoy considerable influence within the United States. The government, media, and law enforcement often turn to these organizations when they want the pulse of the American Muslim community. But critics – Muslim and non-Muslim alike – say that engaging these organizations poses a danger.

According to these critics, although members of these organizations might appear to be moderate, they support an interpretation of Islam that is at odds with democracy and human rights as they are commonly understood in the Western world. Engaging these organizations bestows an undeserved legitimacy upon them and makes it easier for them to advance their secretive agenda.

Based extensively on primary source materials, as well as expert first-hand accounts and authentic archival material, “The Grand Deception” provides access to factual content and differentiates that content from a range of subjective viewpoints. From there you as a viewer are free to come to your own conclusion about the Muslim Brotherhood’s and radical Islam’s presence and progress in the United States.

Additional related and highly recommended titles:

The undercover exposé “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America,”which reveals the insidious and well-funded efforts of the Muslim Brotherhood under the nonprofit guise of CAIR to fully support the international jihad against the United States.

“STOP THE ISLAMIZATION OF AMERICA: A Practical Guide to the Resistance,” in which renowned activist Pamela Geller answers the question “How can we defend America against Islamic supremacist encroachment?” by offering proven, practical guidance on how freedom lovers can stop jihadist initiatives in local communities.

“THE EVERLASTING HATRED” THE ROOTS OF JIHAD,” – a clear and eye-opening book that lays bare the complex roots of Islamic fundamentalism and its purpose: to replace the Judeo-Christian world order with an Islamic world order.

Islam Projected To Be Dominant UK Religion In 10 Years
5/17/13
http://www.albanytribune.com/17052013-islam-projected-to-be-dominant-uk-religion-in-10-years/

One in 10 people under 25 are Muslim, while Christianity is in decline, the 2011 UK census reveals. An explosion in the Muslim population and an aging Christian demographic could mean Islam will be the dominant religion in the UK in 10 years.

A new analysis of the 2011 census by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed that the number of Christians was falling 50 per cent faster than had previously been thought. Earlier analysis of the statistics showed only a 15 per cent decline, but the ONS found that this figure had been beefed up by 1.2 million foreign-born Christians.

Furthermore, the re-analysis showed that the majority of Christians were over the age of 60 and for the first time less than half of young people describe themselves as Christian. As a result the ONS has calculated that in a decade only a minority will classify themselves as Christians in England. Christianity is still the dominant religion in the UK with over 50 per cent of the population regarding themselves as believers.

However, this may be set to change as the British Muslim population has surged dramatically over the past 15 years, increasing by 75 per cent in England and Wales. The 2011 census puts the Muslim population of the UK at around 5 per cent, a total that has been boosted by around 600,000 Muslim immigrants who have arrived in the UK over the past decade.

Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society, said to UK daily the Telegraph that the decline of Christianity is “inevitable.” “In another 20 years there are going to be more active Muslims than there are churchgoers,” he said.

Moreover the number of people identifying themselves as atheists has increased by 10 per cent, rising from 15 per cent to 25 per cent. The change has been dubbed as a “significant cultural shift” by the British Humanist Association, while the Church of England has shrugged off the statistics, maintaining they still retain a strong base of believers.

“While this is a challenge, the fact that six out of 10 people in England and Wales self-identify as Christians is not discouraging. Christianity is no longer a religion of culture but a religion of decision and commitment. People are making a positive choice in self-identifying as Christians,” said a spokesperson for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales told press in December.

In addition the census registered an increase in followers of Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Judaism.

‘Sleepwalking into segregation’

The rising number of immigrants and different ethnicities in the UK has given rise to increasing levels of segregation. Think tank ‘Demos’ has labeled the phenomenon ‘white flight’, citing the falling number of ethnic whites in areas where they are minorities.

Demos’ investigation revealed that new ethnic minorities like Somalis where moving into areas where older most established ethnic populations like Afro-Caribbeans had previously been dominant.

The population of London is indicative of the change in the British demographic with 600,000 white Londoners moving out of the capital in the past decade. In spite of the fact that the British capital’s population has grown by more than a million, the number of white British residents has decreased from 4.3 million to 3.7 million.

“We do have an integration problem,” said Demos director David Goodhart to RT. The “changing ethnic composition” of the British capital is causing a large exodus of ethnic white out of the city, he added.

Goodhart went on to say that the problem of integration was not confined to Great Britain and is prevalent all around the EU despite attempts to eradicate segregation.

“Part of the point of the euro was to disperse German power and prevent the rise of nationalism in Europe, but it has done precisely the opposite on both fronts. We now have serious national resentments in countries like Greece,” he stressed.

Trevor Phillips, the former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission warned that the statistics did not spell good news for integration in the UK.

Muslim Brotherhood infiltrating US college campuses
5/17/13

CHARLOTTE, May 17, 2013 – The infiltration of Amerca by the Muslim Brotherhood goes to the very heart of what we are witnessing in the realm of global terrorism, even before 9/11/01.

It has only been a few weeks since the media frenzy over the concept of self-radicalization of the brothers Tsaranaev and the Boston Marathon bombings. Most reports from those attacks suggested that the process of self-radicalization, or even Islamic radicalization in general, is a relatively brief process.

Not so, and it should be a cause for concern for every American.

As far back as 1988, an FBI informant working inside the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States issued a warning about a front called the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). According to the anonymous FBI source, the IIIT was then in the first of six phases to “institute  Islamic Revolution in the United States.” The objective was to peacefully infiltrate the United States government and American universities.

That report was issued a full seven years after the Institute was founded in 1981 by Dr. Jamal Bazinji, Dr. Hisham Yahya Altalib, Dr. ‘Abdul Hamid Ahmad Abu Sulayman among others with seed money from the Muslim Brotherhood. Today, the IIIT has branches and offices in at least 15 countries worldwide and no less than 15 major colleges and universities in the United States.

A quick read of the overview on the IIIT website sounds innocent enough with wording that readily appeals to an intellectual community. “The International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) is a private, non-profit, academic, cultural and educational institution, concerned with general issues of Islamic thought and education. The Institute was established in the United States of America in 1981 (1401 AH). It is independent of local politics, party orientations and ideological bias. The headquarters of the Institute are situated in Herndon, Virginia.”

Seeking evidence of contributing to terrorist organizations, the FBI raided the IIIT headquarters in Herndon in 2002. Several members were arrested and found to be active leaders of terrorist organizations.

The Muslim Brotherhood itself lists IIIT in its top 30 organizations that have the goal of “a grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

The FBI source also warned the Muslim Brotherhood had unlimited funds for the IIIT and has “set up political action front groups with no traceable ties to the IIIT or its various Muslim groups.” What is most frightening about that information is that the FBI report was verified in 1991.

Is anybody listening?

The mission statement and objectives of the IIIT can be found on their website: http://www.iiit.org/AboutUs/AboutIIIT/tabid/66/Default.aspx

The carefully stated words themselves may sound innocent enough, but a close reading between the lines shows differently if you research Koranic theology and text.

“Mission — The International Institute of Islamic Thought is dedicated to the revival and reform of Islamic thought and its methodology in order to enable the Ummah (Muslim nation) to deal effectively with present challenges, and contribute to the progress of human civilization in ways that will give it a meaning and a direction derived from divine guidance. The realization of such a position will help the Ummah regain its intellectual and cultural identity and re-affirm its presence as a dynamic civilization.”

“Objectives — In its endeavor to teach and prepare teachers for the modern world and produce intellectuals who can relate their Islam to modern day challenges the Institute aims to:

Serve as a think tank in the field of Islamic education, culture and knowledge.

Formulate a comprehensive Islamic vision and methodology that will help Muslim scholars in their critical analysis of contemporary knowledge.

Develop an appropriate methodology for understanding the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet.

Develop an appropriate methodology for dealing with Islamic legacy and contemporary knowledge, in order to draw on the experiences of both past and present, to build a better future for the Ummah and humanity at large.

Develop an appropriate methodology for understanding and dealing with the present situation of both the Ummah and the world in general, and the field of education in particular, in view of contemporary challenges and opportunities.

The Institute seeks to achieve its objectives by:

Teaching, training of teachers, publication of text books.

Supporting researchers and scholars in universities and research centers, and publishing selected scholarly, cultural and intellectual works, in English, Arabic and several other languages.”

Among the major universities that have embraced IIIT on their campuses are the United States Naval Academy, University of Delaware, American University, University of Maryland, Georgetown University and the University of Virginia.

Is is coincidental that so many of these institutions of higher learning are based in or near Washington, D.C?

Conspiracy theory? Perhaps, but the point is that radical terrorism is alive and well within our country and around the world, and it is not the result of impressionable young people becoming self-radicalized overnight.

The IIIT has been active in the United States for more than thirty years, yet it exists largely under the radar.

Turkey to Build $100 Million Mega-Mosque in Maryland; Connected to Islamic Extremists
5/21/13
http://www.punditpress.com/2013/05/turkey-to-build-100-million-mega-mosque.html

On May 15th, the Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan and two leaders linked to the Muslim Brotherhood visited Lanham, Maryland to celebrate the future opening of a $100,000,000 mega-mosque. The project is being funded by the Islamic government of Turkey.

Erdogan has seen his share of controversy. In February, he stated that Zionism is a "crime against humanity." In June 1997, he stated, "The Jews have begun to crush the Muslims of Palestine, in the name of Zionism. Today, the image of the Jews is no different from that of the Nazis."

The Muslim Brotherhood and their connection to antisemitism and hatred needs no introduction.

Yet cheering him on at the ceremony "was the Maryland Secretary of State... and likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2016, Martin O’Malley." He even made a speech promoting the "sister city relationship" that Maryland and Turkey has.

At the ceremony, the Prime Minister "placed a ceremonial stone on a 15-acre construction site." That 15-acre construction zone represents something greater. In fact, the mosque will become "the largest and most striking examples of Islamic architecture in the western hemisphere," according to Muslim Link Paper.

The Clarion Project details the two Muslim Brotherhood members who attended:

The first, Naeem Baig, is the president of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). A 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo, which says its “work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within,” lists ICNA as one of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” It even refers to meetings with ICNA with talk about a merger.

ICNA is linked to the Pakistani Islamist group Jamaat-e-Islami and its conferences feature radical speakers. A former ICNA president was recently indicted for horrific war crimes committed during Bangladesh’s 1971 succession from Pakistan – the torture and murder or 18 political opponents.

The second official from a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that attended the event was Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). ISNA and several of its components are listed as U.S. Muslim Brotherhood fronts in the same 1991 Brotherhood memo. ISNA was also an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case, dubbed the largest Islamic terror-funding trial in the history of the U.S. Federal prosecutors in the case also listed ISNA as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.

Construction of the mosque is scheduled to be finished by 2014.

The Clarion Project recently reported on the growing ties between the Turkish government and Native American tribes. With Congress' help, thousands of Turkish contractors and their families may be flooding into America's heartland and settling in semi-autonomous zones of the Native Americans, well out of the reach of American authorities.

The Clarion Project also reported on the Turkish Fethullah Gulen school network in America, which is currently under FBI investigation. The network is the largest charter school network in America.  It is the same network that has been a critical component in Turkey’s on-going transformation from a secular democracy into an Islamic state.

Erdogan and his Islamist government calls Hamas a “resistance” group, despite the fact that Hamas specifically targets Israeli civilians with suicide bombings and rocket attacks. Not surprisingly, Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal is a big admirer of Erdogan.

Since taking office in 2003, Erdogan has been implementing his Islamist agenda, slowly but steadily changing Turkey from a secular democracy to an Islamist state: College admissions have been changed to favor religious students, the military has been gutted of its secular generals (with one in five generals currently in prison on dubious charges) and women have been routed out of top government jobs. Honor killings in Turkey increased 1,400 percent between 2002 and 2009. Persecution of artists and journalists has become commonplace as opponents are charged with "crimes" like “denigrating Islam” and “denigrading the state.”

According to the Muslim Link, the new center will have five buildings, including a mosque “constructed using sixteenth century Ottoman architecture that can hold 750 worshipers.”

The Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center will be the largest Islamic site in the Western Hemisphere. The fact that it is being built by the government of Turkey represents the next step in Erdogan's desire to increase the Islamist influence in America.

Feds suggest anti-Muslim speech can be punished

A U.S. attorney in Tennessee is reportedly vowing to use federal civil rights statutes to clamp down on offensive and inflammatory speech about Islam.

Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, was quoted by the Tullahoma News this week suggesting that some inflammatory material on Islam might run afoul of federal civil rights laws.

"We need to educate people about Muslims and their civil rights, and as long as we’re here, they’re going to be protected," Killian told the newspaper.

Killian, along with the FBI special agent that runs the Knoxville office, are set to speak next week to a special meeting with the local Muslim community, informing them about their rights under federal law.

"This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion," Killian said about the meeting. "This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are."

Killian pointed to a recent controversy where a local Tennessee politician posted a photo of a man aiming a shotgun at the camera with the caption "How to wink at a Muslim."

"If a Muslim had posted ‘How to Wink at a Christian,’ could you imagine what would have happened?" Killian asked, according to the newspaper.

The Department of Justice did not respond Friday to a question about what guidelines it draws concerning offensive speech and Islam, or whether the department believes that civil rights statutes could be used to stifle criticism of Islam.

While threats directed at individuals or small groups can lead to punishment, First Amendment experts expressed doubt that the government has any power to stop offensive material about Islam from circulating.

"He’s just wrong," said Floyd Abrams, one of the country's most respected First Amendment attorneys. "The government may, indeed, play a useful and entirely constitutional role in urging people not to engage in speech that amounts to religious discrimination. But it may not, under the First Amendment, prevent or punish speech even if it may be viewed as hostile to a religion."

"And what it most clearly may not do is to stifle political or social debate, however rambunctious or offensive some may think it is," Abrams said.

A conservative watchdog group, Judicial Watch, accused the Obama administration of using federal law to specifically protect Muslims from criticism.

"In its latest effort to protect followers of Islam in the U.S. the Obama Justice Department warns against using social media to spread information considered inflammatory against Muslims, threatening that it could constitute a violation of civil rights," the group wrote in a blog post.

In recent years, the federal government has faced difficult questions about how to respond to material posted about Islam and the Prophet Muhammed — especially when the content causes riots or attacks abroad.

In 2010, a Florida pastor made international news when he threatened to burn 200 copies of the Koran on the ninth anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

The federal government admitted it was powerless to stop Jones, though President Barack Obama condemned the idea. Jones backed off from his September attempt, but later burned a Koran in 2012.

A similar controversy erupt when a Coptic Christian man posted the trailer for an anti-Muhammed film online — causing rioting and an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo.

The Obama administration condemned the attack, while blasting the filmmaker for religious intolerance.

Group sets meeting to increase tolerance of Muslims, culture

A special meeting has been scheduled for the stated purpose of increasing awareness and understanding that American Muslims are not the terrorists some have made them out to be in social media and other circles.

“Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society” will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center, 147 Hospitality Blvd.

Special speakers for the event will be Bill Killian, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and Kenneth Moore, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Knoxville Division.

Sponsor of the event is the American Muslim Advisory Council of Tennessee — a 15-member board formed two years ago when the General Assembly was considering passing legislation that would restrict those who worship Sharia Law, which is followed by Muslims.

Killian and Moore will provide input on how civil rights can be violated by those who post inflammatory documents targeted at Muslims on social media.

“This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion,” Killian told The News Monday. “This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are.”

Killian said the presentation will also focus on Muslim culture and how, that although terrorist acts have been committed by some in the faith, they are no different from those in other religions.

He referred to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing in which Timothy McVeigh, an American terrorist, detonated a truck bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. Commonly referred to as the Oklahoma City Bombing, the attack killed 168 people and injured more than 800.

It was the deadliest act of terrorism within the United States prior to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history. Terry Nichols was also charged and incarcerated as a coconspirator.

Killian also referred to the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting on Aug. 5, 2012, when Wade Michael Page, an American white supremacist, fatally shot six people and wounded four others in a mass shooting at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis. Page committed suicide by shooting himself in the head after he was shot in the stomach by a responding police officer.

“Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were both Christians as was the guy who shot up the Sikh temple,”
no they weren't McVeigh was Catholic if that, but he was no Christian. http://www.ethicsdaily.com/news.php?viewStory=15532

Terry Nichols was athiest before getting saved in prison, so he wasnt a Christian at the time. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,122527,00.html

Wade Michael Page was a racist N@zi, so he wasnt a Christian either, http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/aug/08/wade-michael-page-violent-far-right

So what we have here is that Bill Killian is a LIAR and not very good at looking up facts.
Killian said. “Sikhs are not Muslim, Many people think they are Muslim, but they split off with the Hindu religion.”

Killian referred to a Facebook posting made by Coffee County Commissioner Barry West that showed a picture of a man pointing a double-barreled shotgun at a camera lens with the caption saying, “How to Wink at a Muslim.”

Killian said he and Moore had discussed the issue.

“If a Muslim had posted ‘How to Wink at a Christian,’ could you imagine what would have happened?” he said. I know what would happen, nothing. As they dont just post threats but run over and decapitate soldiers just walking down a street, or brutally cut off peoples heads making youtube vids. “We need to educate people about Muslims and their civil rights, and as long as we’re here, they’re going to be protected.”

Killian said Internet postings that violate civil rights are subject to federal jurisdiction.  Cheesy

“That’s what everybody needs to understand,” he said. Yes, shut up or we will KILL you.

Killian said slide show presentations will be made.

Zak Mohyuddin, a Muslim Advisory Council member, said a shortened version of a documentary called “Welcome to Shelbyville” will also be featured.

The documentary, produced by the Public Broadcasting Service, spotlights recent demographic changes in nearby Shelbyville, with a focus on the growing number of immigrants from Latin America and Somalia with many Somalis from the Bantu minority ethnic group which practices Islam.

Mohyuddin said Muslims across the nation consistently issue press releases condemning terrorist acts, but the media usually does not pick up the information. He added that the apparent silence leaves the impression that Muslims do not condemn such acts.

Like Killian, Mohyuddin said word needs to be spread so more people understand the Muslim culture.

“It is in the self-interest of Muslims in the United States to counter violent extremism, because we and our children do not want to be viewed with suspicion,” Mohyuddin said. “The Muslim community is a vital resource in the fight against terrorism.”

Killian said he has made other presentations in the state about Muslim culture and civil rights laws, and the Muslims he’s become acquainted with are outstanding citizens.

“Some of the finest people I’ve met are Muslims,” he said, adding later: “We want to inform everybody about what the law is, but more importantly, we want to provide what the law means to Muslims, Hindus and every other religion in the country.

“It’s why we came here in the first place. In England, they were using Christianity to further their power in government. That’s why the First Amendment is there.”

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits making any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on Dec. 15, 1791, as one of the 10 amendments that comprise the Bill of Rights.

I have to say, I'm not sure what to make of that character "Achmed" being tolerated as it's been. When I first saw it, I cringed, thinking here comes the Islamic extremists complaining, issuing fatwahs and such. But nothing. Not a peep. Hmm. They really push the edge of comedy to get away with all kinds of stuff I guess.

No doctrinally correct Christian would say that! Real believers know what that sound signifies, which is evil.

Missouri Governor Vetoes Bill Banning Sharia Law Over Fear of Endangering Foreign Adoptions

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has vetoed a bill that would have prevented judges in the state from using Sharia Law in their judgments, citing fears of endangerment of foreign adoptions and other international concerns.

Nixon appeared at a a press conference on Monday at the office of Lutheran Family and Children’s Services, where he explained his position.

“There are certainly problems facing our state and nation, but this isn’t one of them,” he said. “The laws passed in Jefferson City have real consequences. This bill could jeopardize a family’s ability to adopt children from other countries.”

Pastor Alan Erdman, the president of the adoption agency, agreed.

“[This legislation] would spell disaster for children and families, in addition to increasing the costs and processes that govern these adoptions,” he said.

However, the bill’s sponsor, Republican Senator Brian Nieves, called the notion “absurd.”

“If he would have said the bill might cause an invasion of flying armadillos, that would have been just as valid,” he stated. “I think the governor owes it to the people of Missouri to come clean [on the reason for the veto].”

Connect with Christian News
But Nixon also outlined in his written statement that the legislation is unnecessary and “could invite retaliatory action by a foreign country by denying all adoptions to Missourians.”

The bill, known as “The Civil Liberties Defense Act,” does not specifically mention Sharia law (Islamic law), but was written with the intent of preventing Islam or other foreign religions from overtaking or influencing state law. The bill passed in the Senate 24-9 and 109-41 in the House of Representatives.

“Missouri’s been pretty fortunate as far as this goes.” Nieves said. “[And we want to ensure that the state] keeps things the way they are.”

Six other states have passed similar legislation. Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana, South Dakota, Tennessee and Oklahoma have all agreed to prohibit state government agencies from using Sharia and other foreign laws in their decision-making processes. As previously reported, legislators in Kansas overwhelmingly passed the bill last May, with a unanimous vote in the House and only three dissenters in the Senate.

However, last year, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals also declared a law in Oklahoma unconstitutional which stated that “courts shall not consider international law or Sharia Law.”

Nieves may pursue an override vote in the legislature. However, if so, Faizan Syed, executive director of the St. Louis chapter of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, said that he would seek to influence legislators to defeat the override.

“Now that people know the arguments against these laws and what kind of problems they can cause, we’re confident that we can encourage enough legislators to be against the override,” he said.

Legislators need a two-thirds majority vote to override Nixon’s veto.

Absurd is an understatement! More like treasonous.

The bill passed in the Senate 24-9 and 109-41 in the House of Representatives.

There are 163 House members, and 34 Senate members. So they had 13 House members that didn't vote, and 1 Senate member that didn't vote.

Quote
Legislators need a two-thirds majority vote to override Nixon’s veto.

Now the question is, do those who don't vote still count towards a veto? They shouldn't, which means they got more than 2/3 majority on both votes with those who voted. Something isn't adding up. Even if those non-votes count, they still got 2/3 in the House and Senate.

Somebody needs to explain that! I don't get it.

Looks like the people really wanted it, but one person, the governor, overrides the wishes of the people, claiming he's afraid what foreigners might think! They already hate the US you clown!  Roll Eyes

The Not-So-Veiled Threat to Non-Muslims in Tennessee

The attempted snow job by the American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) of Tennessee which sponsored the joint Department of Justice/FBI event, "Public Disclosure in a Diverse Society," Tuesday night in Manchester, Tennessee, did not work with the 2,000 attendees. Claims that American Muslims are loyal citizens, partners in counterterrorism investigations, part of radicalization prevention efforts, and an integral part of American society for centuries fell flat, especially coming from the host organization that was formed only two years ago in response to anti-shariah legislation in the Volunteer State.

A well-informed crowd responded with calls of "taqiyyah" when members of AMAC, a group that bills itself as "a bridge between the Muslim community and law enforcement," touted Muslim contributions to U.S. society and their dedication to upholding American values. (Taqiyyah doctrine obligates Muslims to deceive infidels as part the required effort or jihad to institute Islamic doctrine or shariah). In actuality, Muslim organizations have specifically instructed Muslims not to cooperate with law enforcement and have demanded that all counterterrorism-training materials be expunged of critical references to Islam and Muslims, as well the training instructors fired or retrained who fail to follow along.

When it became clear at Tuesday's event that the promulgation of lies was falling on deaf ears, one AMAC speaker resorted to shaming the audience for their alleged rudeness and intolerance. In the crowd's defense, the passionate response was one of righteous anger against a doctrine that increasingly threatens Western civilization and values in the wake of the Boston bombings and the murder and beheading of British soldier Lee Rigby. That indignation was also a response to the hypocrisy of a program designed to falsely portray Muslims as victims of prejudice in dire need of special civil rights protection from hate crimes. No mention was made of jihadist acts, honor killings, demands for special accommodations, and the Muslim disinclination to assimilate to American cultural norms.

To further insult the crowd, the AMAC speaker showed a condensed version of the video "Welcome to Shelbyville" in which Tennesseans were portrayed as ignorant, bigoted rednecks. The rejection of the Muslim presence in Tennessee was explained away by previous resistance to integrating blacks and Hispanics. The situation was addressed as one of racism and fear of the unknown rather than a very real fear of what Islamic doctrine requires Muslims to do. This was an educated crowd well aware that Islamic doctrine clearly states that Muslims must not befriend non-Muslims and are required to wage jihad to establish a global Islamic government under shariah. Attendees appeared very familiar with the enemy threat doctrine, Muslim aspirations to replace the Constitution with shariah, and ubiquitous calls from Muslims for "death to America" and "death to Christians and Jews."

It is particularly telling that no other group in the United States has been the focus of such a degree of attention and outreach, although FBI religious hate crime statistics from 2009 indicate that Jews are more than eight times more likely to be victims of religious hate crimes than Muslims. Yet there is no special protection afforded to Jews, no events announcing the prosecution of individuals who post material offensive to Jews, nor outreach programs to the American Jewish community to better serve their interests. When it comes to Jews and Christians, offensive remarks and portrayals are permitted under the First Amendment.

It is truly remarkable that the mission of an entire government agency, NASA, was reconfigured from space exploration and aerospace technology to Muslim outreach by the Obama administration in 2009. At that time, Obama required NASA to reach out to Muslims and help them "feel good about their historic contributions to science, math, and engineering."

Recently, Obama announced that he was launching the Muslim Outreach Summit to elicit feedback from American Muslims on how the government can better serve them. It is unprecedented for any group in the U.S. to receive this level of special consideration.

Following the Benghazi attack, Obama went to the UN and announced, "The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam" and that "Intolerance is a form of violence." He didn't reference the desecrations of images of Jesus Christ and churches or voice concern about Holocaust denial. He mentioned only the criticism of Islam as a cause for concern and a reason to curtail free speech rights. Let us not forget that in the "Audacity of Hope," Obama avowed, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

DOJ attorney Bill Killian addressed the crowd by reading statutes verbatim from PowerPoint slides that defined hate crimes, civil rights violations, and federally prescribed violations and penalties. Prior to the event, he had released this statement: "This is an educational effort with civil rights laws as they play into freedom of religion and exercising freedom of religion.... This is also to inform the public what federal laws are in effect and what the consequences are." However, the DOJ and FBI have not scheduled meetings addressing the concerns of any other group but Muslims. Twelve such outreach sessions are planned for Tennessee alone.

FBI Special Agent Kenneth Moore ridiculed the idea that the evening was intended to threaten citizens with the possibility of prosecution and imprisonment for offending Muslims. He pointed out that despite the raucous conduct exhibited during the event and the protests, no one would be arrested that evening as evidence of the government's commitment to the First Amendment. However, the crowd remained unconvinced that their free speech rights were not in jeopardy at some future point as part of the government's program to accommodate the demands of Muslim and Islamic doctrine.

The event presented messages on two levels. Overtly, Muslims attempted to airbrush their image in America as having nothing to do with supremacy, triumphalism, and terrorism. A few hijabed members of the AMAC even sported T-shirts with messages supporting the First Amendment to apocryphally showcase their dedication to American principles and laws.

As for government officials, they ostensibly conducted an informational session on legal statutes related to offensive statements and reassured the crowd that arrests would not take place. But the covert message was clear: This event was held to reinforce the supremacy of Muslims and their civil rights as no other group has been afforded this level of deference or accommodation. It was a veiled threat to non-Muslims that Muslims and Muslims alone will receive special protection by the government and hate crime prosecutions are on the table at some future point. Americans beware.

CNN did a news profile on this small town in TN in their battles with sharia law infiltrating them - it was either last year or the year before. It started out as this town firmly against it, but by the news show's end(it was an hour long), not only did the city court/council(forgot which) start to favor sharia, but it looked like the community may have slowly started to side with it too.

Either you put your faith in Christ, or your faith in the world. There's no such thing as "good" and "evil" forces in the world. As history has shown, you side with the world, you will be playing by their rules, plain and simple.

Mat 7:24  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Mat 7:28  And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Mat 7:29  For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Rednecks don't forget. They still got a burr under their saddle from the Civil War, so naturally they are real suspicious of anybody wanting to move in to their neck of the woods.

I'm familiar with that town, Manchester, TN. My grandparents use to have a house there next to my grandfather's brother. It's also where I learn to drive a stick shift. Use to go rabbit hunting in that area, and still have relatives there.

All I can say is that Islam will have to force it's way on the people in that area. They still hate communists there, unlike the US government.

I can tell you those people there aren't stupid. They just want you to think that, as they just smile and wave, drinking their co-cola and peanuts with a Moon Pie. Southerners are slow to anger, but they don't forget. You get on the wrong side of them, you won't know it till suddenly one day you realize they won't have anything to do with you, and not a word is said. They just ignore you and go on about their business, and good luck doing business once they turn their back on you. Your better off just moving away, because that dog won't hunt.

Islam ain't seen nothin' like a southern redneck!

And I can assure you, they mean it when they yell "Get off my land!", which is usually followed by a shell being racked!

School Recites Pledge in Arabic, One Nation Under Allah?

A Colorado high school principal is defending his decision to allow students from a cultural club to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in Arabic — and denied that it was attempt to push an Islamic agenda.

Tom Lopez, the principal at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, told Fox News he has received a number of telephone calls and emails from outraged parents – but he stands by his decision.

“These students love this country,” he said. “They were not being un-American in trying to do this. They believed they were accentuating the meaning of the words as spoken regularly in English.”

The school recites the Pledge of Allegiance once a week and on Monday a member of the Cultural Arms Club led the student body in the Arabic version of the pledge.

The club seeks to “destroy the barriers, embrace the cultures” that exist within the high school.

Danielle Clark, communications director of the Poudre School District, said they understand why parents are upset.

“We understand not everybody would agree with the students’ choice,” she told Fox News. “We’ve heard there are some who are upset.”

On the other hand, she said she received one email from a person who “thought it was a great thing.”

Clark said the cultural club has a history of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in a number of different languages.

“It’s not just Arabic,” she said.

Last year, the group found itself in a firestorm of controversy after reciting the pledge in Spanish.

“This is a student-initiated and student-led club,” Clark  said. “There is no school sponsor or advisor. It doesn’t come under the umbrella of the district.”

She said the students simply asked the principal permission as a courtesy.

“We deferred to the students because it’s their deal,” she said.

Club members said they don’t understand why there’s a controversy.

“No matter what language it’s said in, pledging your allegiance to the United States is the same in every language,” student Skyler Bowden told The Coloradoan.

But an Arabic translation of the Pledge of Allegiance would have replaced “one nation under God” with “one nation under Allah.”

“Obviously in Arabic, you would use the word Allah, but Christian Arabs would use the word Allah,” said Ibrahim Hooper, of the Council on American Islamic Relations. “It’s not necessarily specific to Islam and Muslims.”No they wouldnt, as Allah is the name of the pagan MOON god. So no Christian would ever invoke the name of Allah.

Clark said she did not hear the pledge and does not speak Arabic so she could not confirm exactly what words were used.

Some local residents said the pledge should be recited in English. Others wondered if there was another reason involved.

“This is no longer about language,” wrote one reader in a letter to the local newspaper. “This is about targeting a group you know will object, intentionally stirring them up under the guise of your opinions on multiculturalism and subjecting your school and community to a divisive issue for absolutely no gain.”

Lopez said he’s been getting bombarded by all sorts of accusations – one critic even labeled him a traitor.

“They claim they are outraged that this is blaspheming a real major tenet of our patriotism – which in their mind the Pledge of Allegiance is only in English,” he said.

He’s also been accused of “pushing a Muslim Brotherhood agenda – to push Islam into the school.” That’s a claim that Lopez denied.

Hooper told Fox News he was dumbfounded by complaints about the Arabic version of the pledge.

“How on earth is it un-American to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in another language,” Hooper asked. “It doesn’t make sense unless the people complaining are anti-Muslim or anti-middle eastern bigots.”

Principal Lopez said he was getting “worn down” by the complaints and the sense of “hate” among some of the critics.

“I’ve been shocked with prejudicial statements that have been made,” he said. ” I’ve been shocked with the lack of seeking understanding. There’s definitely suspicion and fear expressed in these people’s minds. There’s some hate.”

But some residents say they feel strongly that the Pledge should be recited in English.

“As a veteran and a friend of a man killed defending these children in their little games they like to play with our pledge, I’m offended,” wrote Chris Wells on the Daily Coloradoan. “There are things that we don’t mess with – among them are the pledge and our anthem.”

“If they wish to adapt the country as their own, then they need to learn the language and start speaking it as their first language,” wrote another reader.

Hooper suggested the students could use the incident as a learning “opportunity that there is real intolerance and bigotry out there.”

So then, what do Arabic-speaking people say if they don't use the Arabic word "allah"?

We need to make sure the distinction is made between context and meaning of a word.

You would have two people speaking Arabic, no, three people.

One is secular, one is Muslim, and one is Christian. They all only speak Arabic.

I contend that they all would use the Arabic word for God. Now is there a different Arabic word to denote "a god" from "God of Abraham"? That I don't know. Seems like there would be. If not, it makes it easy. All of them would use the same word for a god.

Now Muslims may use that specific Arabic word because they believe it means their Islamic god. If that particular usage refers to the so-called "moon god", then it would stand to reason a Christian wouldn't want to use that word. SO, what Arabic word would a Christian use?

"fighting intolerance" seems to be the new norm in America - and no, it has nothing to do with Civil Rights. This time around, it has a lot to do with forcing people to accept and love evil.

1The 5:22  Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Okay, so is that word "Ilah" capitalized to mean THE God of Heaven, or should it be lower case to mean "a god"?

From what your saying, the word "Allah" is a proper noun, a name, not a title or description, and "ilah" is the Arabic word to mean "god", and "Ilah" to mean God Almighty?

Personally, I haven't seen anybody describe the difference, and have never read or heard that word "Ilah" before.

http://www.islam101.com/tauheed/ilah.htm

It seems from what I read at this site (honestly no clue if the author is correct or some Islamic heretic), but they seem to explain that the word "ilah" does mean "god" or "a god" in the general sense, more or less. Allah however is used as a proper name to mean their Islamic "God".

"Ilah" is not used it looks like as much as the lower case, because they describe the word to be used as saying something is considered their "ilah", and it could be a god, or even a man, or an object.

Quote
Invoke not; or pray to, any ilah along with Allah. There is no ilah but He.2

(28 : 88) Surat Al Kassas

See how they use the word? "ilah" is used to mean "a god", while "Allah" to them means "God".

The only other question is do Muslims believe when they use the word "Allah", do they think they are talking about the same god as the god of the Jews?

I realize in reality Muslims are worshiping a false god. I get that. But what I'm trying to clarify is how Muslims believe what the words mean to them, what they think they mean, versus what an Arabic speaker thinks the words mean.

Seems like an Arabic-speaking person that is not Muslim would not use "Allah" if they didn't believe in Islam, as it looks like in Islam, they call their god "Allah", while a non-Muslim would use "Ilah" for God, and "ilah" for "a god".

Not speaking the language makes it a bit tricky!  Roll Eyes
