Why Did 8 People Turn 180 Degrees on Abortion Stance in Seconds?
Ray Comfort, Living Waters Release Pro-Life Documentary Sunday

http://www.christianpost.com/news/why-did-8-people-turn-180-degrees-on-abortion-stance-in-seconds-55970/

Quote
The evangelist producer of an online documentary to be released this Sunday has high hopes that the film, which shows eight pro-abortion young adults change their stance to pro-life just moments after being asked a question, goes viral.

The 33-minute documentary called “180” is produced by Ray Comfort and his ministry, Living Waters. Even after watching the film’s trailer on its website, viewers are left with no clues as to what question was asked or what exactly prompted eight people to change their views on abortion.

Comfort told The Christian Post that in the process of making the film he asked a question that was “so powerful that it not only changed the people’s minds about abortion, and made them do a 180 (degree turn in viewpoint), but it made them do a 180 when it comes to their own eternal salvation.”

When asked by CP, the preacher, who is also known for challenging atheists in one-on-one debates and street preaching in Huntington Beach, Calif., did not reveal the question he asked. Comfort said that with the help of Christians, "180" has a good chance of going viral.

“The reason this film is unique is that we have eight young people who change their minds from being pro-abortion to pro-life in a matter of seconds because of one question I ask them,” he said. “On the video you will actually see a neo-**** – a very nasty neo-**** named Steve, who is anti-Christian, an anti-God atheist, who is probably pro-everything evil, loves Adolf Hitler, hates blacks, hates Jews, hates America – do a complete 180 to the point to where you actually like the guy because he starts talking about his own eternal salvation.”

Comfort said the documentary is very gripping and captivating, and as one pastor who has seen the film said, “You don’t watch ‘180,’ you experience it.”

“For me to tell you what the question is would steal your experience because you’ve got to see the facial expressions change,” Comfort said. “You’ve got to see the people, when they are asked a question, change from one of a hard look in their facial expression to suddenly, a light going off, as they change their minds and realize how evil abortion is just with the one question.”

The video for the movie was initially intended to be a free DVD supplement for a book Comfort wrote, called Hitler, God, and the Bible.

“The video went in a direction I never intended it to,” he said. “It became a pro-life movie, much to our surprise.”

The documentary starts off by showing “14 college students who haven’t got a clue who Adolf Hitler is,” Comfort said. “It swings from there into the pro-life message in a very subtle and interesting way to the point where you cannot look away because of the scenario where the people are placed in the video.”

In addition to the film being available for free online at 180movie.com beginning Sunday, Comfort plans to give 200,000 DVD copies of the film to 100 colleges in the United States.

“We are absolutely delighted that finally Christians can do something concrete when it comes to this very emotional and divisive issue of abortion,” he said. “They can just give this video out to someone.”

Comfort related to the CP how some YouTube videos, such as “Charlie bit my finger,” can garner phenomenal viewing numbers, in the hundreds of millions. He sees no reason his film can not have the same kind of astronomical numbers and result in a major social shift.

“We’d like to see this film go viral because if you can change what a person believes about abortion you are going to change the way they vote, and that can change the direction of this nation and this nation surely can be turned back to God,” he said. “A lot of people have (already) said this will turn the nation back to God with His help.”

"And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it." Exodus 20:25 (KJB)

6   Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
7   Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8   And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
1 Peter 2:6-8 (KJB)

Yeah, something you DON'T hear from the "Republicans" on Capitol Hill is how the OCCULT/WITCHES are behind this genocide largely b/c this is how they do their child sacrifice.

I mean it's nothing but a Hegelian Dialect b/w "Republicans" and "Democrats", where the "Democrats" act like women have a right to their own bodies, and the "Republicans" are just merely putting an OUTWARD showing of being Christian. BTW - John Roberts and Alito(both Bush Jr appointments) are pro-Roe vs. Wade.(they say they're against abortion, but view RvW as the "law of the land") And Clarence Thomas is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies(another form of genocide in America).

The Damnable Heresy of Ray Comfort

"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." —Romans 4:5

It hurts me to write this article, because I like Ray Comfort. I believe Mr. Comfort is a sincere man, but sincerely wrong. Unfortunately, as is the case with John MacArthur and so many other heretical Bible teachers today, Ray Comfort teaches a false gospel. The great deception is that 95% of everything they say is good wholesome Bible. Ray Comfort is an eloquent speaker, and he is certainly correct on the issue of God's Law, i.e., a person cannot be saved without realizing their GUILTY condition and condemnation under the Law of God.

HOWEVER, the big problem with Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron is that they teach the damnable heresy of LORDSHIP SALVATION. Like all Lordship Salvationists, Ray Comfort errantly teaches that salvation by faith ALONE in Jesus Christ is not enough to save someone. That is a false Gospel. According to Ray Comfort, a person MUST also cease from their sinful lifestyle and give up worldly living to be saved. Thus, eternal life ceases to be a gift in Ray Comfort's mind, and has now been turned into a reward. It is much more than a matter of mere semantics. The Bible teaches one Gospel, not two.

Ray Comfort is an extremely popular evangelist, with his ministries THE WAY OF THE MASTER and LIVING WATERS. Unfortunately, Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron teach the heresy of Lordship Salvation...

“Merely being sorry for your sins, or confessing them to God won't help you. You must turn from sin (repent).”

SOURCE: LIVING WATERS ministry, SAVE YOURSELF SOME PAIN

Heresy! This is a backwards gospel, where a sinner must reform as a prerequisite to qualify for salvation. In this false gospel, the burden of changing is placed upon the sinner instead of upon the Lord. It is indeed salvation by self-righteous works. The gospel is a big deal and worth fighting over. Ray Comfort leads sinners to believe that God will not save them unless they are willing to stop sinning; but the Bible disagrees with Mr. Comfort.

In Biblical salvation, you come to Christ by faith to be forgiven of your sins, and then God works on your heart to change as you grow in the milk of the Word (1st Peter 2:2). God chastises His children who continue in sin (Hebrews 12:6-8), but all believers sin (Romans 7:14-25). Ray Comfort says that lustful and thieving believers never got saved...

On page 1197 of THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, Ray Comfort comments on Matthew 7:22,23...

"These are perhaps the most frightening verses in the Bible. Vast multitudes of professing Christians fit into the category spoken of here. They call Jesus 'Lord,' but they practice lawlessness. They profess faith in Jesus, but have no regard for the divine law. They tell 'fibs' or 'white' lies, take things that belong to others, have a roaming eye for the opposite sex, etc. They are liars, thieves, and adulterers at heart, who will be cast from the gates of heaven into the jaws of hell."

SOURCE: THE EVIDENCE BIBLE, by Ray Comfort, pg. 1197; 2003, Bridge-Logos Publishers, Orlando, Florida

In sharp contrast, read what Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980) has to say Scripturally about worldly believers.

That is self-righteousness! Clearly, Ray Comfort believes that some personal effort to depart from sin is necessary to be saved by God. This is self-righteousness; and not the salvation of the Bible which is received freely by faith in Christ. Revelation 22:17 states: "Let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Romans 4:5 plainly states that one's faith in Christ makes that person righteous in the eyes of God.  Adding even the slightest work of self-righteousness to the Gospel corrupts it into a false way, a false plan, a road to damnation.

Sadly, Mr. Comfort and his sidekick, Kirk Cameron, are doctrinally corrupted and confused; likely because they are followers of heretic John MacArthur (evidenced by Kirk Cameron promoting the John MacArthur Study Bible on his website). They are WRONG to teach that repentance unto salvation means ceasing from sin. They are also wrong to teach that repentance is a completely separate act from believing upon the Lord to be saved. These are 2 deadly heresies concerning salvation. THE TRUTH is that you simply turn to the Lord by faith to be forgiven of your sins and you are saved immediately, completely and eternally. It's that simple. We are the SINNER and Jesus is the SAVIOR!

180 Movie on Abortion Reaches 1 Million Views

The movie 180, the Ray Comfort-produced documentary that shows how asking questions about Nazi, Germany can spark a change of heart in people’s minds on the issue of abortion, has reached 1 million viewers.

Since its official launch three weeks ago, the film has been viewed more than 1 million times on YouTube and the Facebook page associated with the documentary has catapulted to over 22,000 people. The film hit the 500,000 view mark on October 3 and hasn’t let up since.

The documentary is popular because it is just 33 minutes in length and it shows the conversations Comfort, a pastor, had with people who admit they are now looking at abortion in a new light after discussing the issue with him.

Comfort tells the Christian Post newspaper that the film has become so popular he had had requests to translate it into 19 different languages and ten different television networks have plans to air the film in the coming weeks and months. More than 135,000 copies of the DVD have been sold to pro-life groups and individuals and Comfort says 200,000 copies of the DVD will be distributed to 100 different college and university campuses on a single day soon.

“It’s the Church that will turn the tide against abortion in America,” he tells the Post. “Kay Arthur, Randy Alcorn and I worked on a 180 Course to help equip Christians to learn the principles used in the film. It’s a two-part, training course for all churches, groups, and individuals, so they can not only save temporal lives, but reach the lost. It will turn a church 180 degrees toward the least and the lost.”

“I am more than delighted that so many see that they can make a difference when it comes to the horror of abortion,” Comfort said of the pro-life people who like the film and have promoted it. “No doubt many good Germans gave their lives simply by asking what was going on behind the walls of concentration camps or by protesting when it came to cruelty to Jews.”

“We need not pay such a great price, because ‘180’ can speak up for us. All we need do for that to happen is for us to put our fingers to a keyboard see minds and lives changed, or to put it another way, we can use a mouse to move a mountain,” he said.

“We want every Christian who has access to a computer to realize that they literally have the world at their fingertips, and by promoting 180Movie.com they can not only see hearts changed about the horror of abortion, but people can hear the words of everlasting life through the Gospel,” he told the Post.

Following up on '180's' popularity

A Christian evangelist says he's touched by the number of people who have supported a pro-life documentary his ministry produced. (See earlier story)

In a collective effort, 1,000 pro-life individuals were able to distribute 200,000 copies of 180 to students on college campuses. The film, produced by Christian evangelist Ray Comfort of Living Waters, discusses the sanctity of life and the issue of abortion.

"We went to UCLA and we gave out about 2,000 copies, and then I got up and I was able to preach and touch on the subject of abortion," Comfort shares. "And we had a crowd of between 400 and 500 people wait and listen for about two hours, so it was a wonderful opportunity."

Since its September 26 debut, the film has generated more than 1.2 million views on YouTube and has been dubbed "the hottest movie on the Internet."

"We knew we had something special, but we didn't expect a million views in a matter of 22 days," the producer admits. "It's because so many Christians have seen this is such a serious issue that children are being murdered in their midst."

Comfort tells OneNewsNow the film is available for $1 at HeartChanger.com, where a 64-page booklet called the "180 Course" can also be found.

"That's what people can do -- either get the physical video, learn how to share these principles yourselves, or get on the Internet and use social media by sending the link all over this world," he notes.

Jewish Anti-Defamation League derides ‘180’ anti-abortion movie as ‘perverse’

 Roll Eyes

Link to Video please watch:

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has condemned the film “180” for comparing abortion in the United States to the Holocaust.

The ADL called the movie “cynical and perverse” and “one of the most offensive and outrageous abuses of the memory of the Holocaust we have seen in years,” in a statement released Wednesday by Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.

The film “180,” available on DVD and on YouTube, is an initiative by Project Heart Changer, led by the Living Waters organization. It opens by exposing the ignorance of young Americans about the Holocaust, and then goes on to compare the American peoples’ acceptance of abortion to Hitler having the sanction of the German people to kill Jews.

The movie has gone viral on YouTube, with just under 1.5 million views in the six weeks since its release. According to Project Heart Changer more than 250,000 copies of the DVD were sold within a month of its release, with well over that number given away at American universities and high schools.

Ray Comfort, the Jewish creator of “180,” responded to the criticism, arguing, “ADL should be thanking me. Instead they have come out swinging.”

“ADL’s motto is to fight ‘anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry’,” Comfort said. “There’s no hatred, prejudice or bigotry in ‘180.’ It’s an award-winning movie that opens with 14 people (mainly college students) who have no idea of the identity of Adolf Hitler. Clearly the American education system has failed these kids. This is a movie that educates young people about the horror of the Jewish Holocaust.”

Foxman, however, who is a Holocaust survivor, charged, “The creators of the film clearly don’t get it… No Christian who understands Jewish suffering should resort to inappropriate comparisons to the Holocaust to send a message that abortion is wrong.”

Comfort replied to the accusation, saying, “No one but a Holocaust survivor can really understand the horror of what the Jews suffered. But the analogy stands.

“Hitler justified their murder by saying that Jews weren’t human. Abortion advocates do the same by calling a baby a ‘fetus’ (as do ADL in their press release).

“Yet at 6 weeks 6 days a baby has a heartbeat, eyes, a mouth and hands. We show actual footage of this in our movie. Science now tells us that at the moment of conception there is DNA, determining the eye-color, hair-color and the height and personality of the person. Destroy that, and you destroy the person.”

“My only explanation,” Comfort concluded, “is that they (the ADL) haven’t thought it out before they rushed to judgment. If anyone should stand up for those who have no voice for themselves, it should be the Jews.”

Pro-Life Movie 180 Has Billboard Company Censor Advertising

Three of the largest billboard companies in Southern California have declined to allow the producers of the acclaimed pro-life movie 180 purchase advertising on the billboard networks.

Ray Comfort, the creator of the movie, which has been seen more than 1.5 million times on YouTube, says he believes it is because the movies compares the travesty of abortion to the Holocaust. He did not name the companies that had been refusing to run advertising.

“One is owned by a Jewish family,” he told LifeNews in a statement yesterday. “Their spokesperson was very upset that we dared to compare American abortion to the Holocaust. But there are no pictures involved. All we want is to put up text saying: ’180movie.com — award-winning — free viewing — one million views in 22 days.’ They have the right to refuse, but I think their refusal hasn’t been well thought out.”

Comfort says the same companies are running ads he believes many pro-life people would find immoral or objectionable.

“If they don’t see the comparison of the killing of six million Jews with the slaughter of nearly sixty million Americans through abortion, it’s probably because they don’t consider a baby in the womb to be human,” Comfort said. “That’s exactly what Hitler did with the Jews. He said that they weren’t human, and then he made billions when he killed them and seized their assets.”

“American abortion makes billions through the slaughter of the unborn, and like the Nazi machine it is a well-run money-making industry that has been successful in brainwashing millions into believing that a baby is something other than a baby,” he continued.

The Los Angeles-based Jewish producer said, “After being turned down by these companies, we decided to ask the churches of America to put 180movie.com on their church signs. We also produced huge ’180′ window stickers for cars. These take up the whole back window and act as a moving billboard.

“Millions of Americans are being legally slaughtered in our country, but here is something positive we can do. This short movie is changing minds about abortion and saving lives.”

Comfort points to the thousands of emails that have poured into his organization, in response to the 33-minute award-winning movie:

“I’m a student at University of Michigan-Flint. I had a conversation with someone who I found out was a Christian and he asked me if I had seen ’180′ and I told him yes and I loved it. He said that ’180′ is taking MSU’s campus by storm.”

“I shared 180 with my pro-abortion literature teacher, and she is now pro-life.”

“I’m a senior at a public high school in West Virginia. Because of 180 I was able to turn around the entire class opinion about abortion and by the end of the class 25 of the 25 students and my teacher as well had all raised their hand agreeing that abortion should be illegal.”

“I never thought it possible that 33 minutes could have such an impact on my life, but they did. ’180′ was one of the most (if not THE most) influential movie I have ever seen. It not only changed my mind about abortion, but it also brought me to our Lord Jesus Christ, for I too had hidden myself in denial of God’s existence, because of all the sins I have committed.”

The 180 movie has created a firestorm with more than 26,000 often angry comments, because it shows eight people who are adamantly pro-abortion changing their minds and becoming pro-life in a matter of seconds, because they were asked one question.

A free DVD of the award-winning viral movie “180″ may be coming to a high school near you as the promoters of the film follow up on their successful distribution of 200,000 copies of the movie to college and university campuses.

Ray Comfort, the creator of the documentary says it has been so popular “because it’s ‘shocking.’ It opens with 14 people (mainly college students) who have no idea of the identity of Adolf Hitler.”

“One reviewer said, ‘So, what’s a pretty good documentary could have been even stronger without the fools early on,’” Comfort said. “Perhaps those who are quick to call these students fools lack perception themselves. These young people are rather ignorant as to perhaps the darkest period of human history, because the American education system has failed them.”

Late last month, between 180,000 and 200,000 copies of the 33-minute DVD were given out at 100 of America’s top universities, and now the Jewish author and TV co-host is turning his attention to high schools.

Finally ended up seeing this when I was surfing another web site and was posted on their front page(didn't want to see it here initially b/c I thought it was one of those GOP pro-life pep rallies WITHOUT leading anyone to the Lord Jesus Christ, which we've seen 100s of times).

Anyhow, EXCELLENT, MIND-BLOWING film! The BEST part is where Ray Comfort lead this issue to lead these people to the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Smiley

I was amazed how the Lord really was working in the young, MTV/current culture people in it. Even though they may not have said anything, you could tell by their ACTIONS they wanted to get saved! And Ray didn't speak some nonsense works-based message either.

Thank you for posting this!

Well, the guy who made this video(Ray Comfort) has some doctrinal issues(he believes in Lordship Salvation) - this may have been a decent video presentation(I'll admit I liked it when I saw it a couple of years ago), but nonetheless don't let these guys like Comfort fool you into thinking we can "wake everyone up" to this, when in fact in the end times, Apostasy and doctrines of devils just get worse and worse. As for Comfort saying being a Christian changes our way we vote. Roll Eyes Was he saying when we become Christians, we just blindly follow the GOP establishment? Did he also forget about the Bush's ties to abortion for a long, long time?

http://news.yahoo.com/why-anti-abortion-groups-struggling-ballot-box-060900688.html
Why anti-abortion groups are struggling at the ballot box
11/26/13

Since the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, access to abortion has been one of the most contentious topics in American politics. The battle has raged across the country for the last four decades, as anti-abortion and pro-choice activists have clashed in the courts, state houses, and the halls of Congress.

Last week’s referendum in Albuquerque, N.M., where voters rejected a ban on abortion after 20 weeks, underscored a new development in the fight. And it also highlighted a fundamental disconnect in the way Americans approach restrictions on terminating pregnancies — particularly when they're asked to pull the trigger on a significant change to abortion law.

If it had passed, the measure would have been the first in the country to curb abortion at the local level. The campaign was part of a new strategy by anti-abortion activists to circumvent Democratic-controlled state legislatures. Albuquerque was seen as a test case, since it's a Democratic enclave with a large Latino (and thus Catholic) population that is home to New Mexico’s only two abortion clinics.

But like so many ballot measures that aim to stop abortion, this one failed by a wide margin — 55 to 45 percent — despite polling that at one point showed the referendum might succeed. It’s just the latest evidence that the anti-abortion movement is struggling to score victories at the ballot box, even as conservative state legislatures across the country have passed dozens of laws aimed at making it harder for a woman to get an abortion.

In 2011, voters in Mississippi, arguably one of the most conservative states in the nation, rejected a personhood amendment to its constitution that would have enshrined the idea that life begins at conception. A full fifty-eight percent of voters were against it.

In 2008 and 2010, Colorado voters defeated personhood initiatives by roughly three-to-one margins. The residents of South Dakota overwhelmingly voted against banning abortion in 2008. Since 2005, a total of 15 ballot measures have gone before voters and 13 of those have failed.

“We've seen time and time again when the issue is actually put before the voters that they defeat these attempts to ban or restrict abortion,” said Gretchen Borchelt, senior counsel and director of state reproductive health policy at the National Women’s Law Center, a non-profit based in Washington, D.C. “The voters see how extreme these measures really are.”

Opponents of abortion have had much more success in red state legislatures. Bans on abortion past 18 or 20 weeks have been enacted in 12 states, though three were suspended by the courts. Twenty-six states have laws that require women to wait at least 24 hours between when they receives counseling and have the procedure. Several more require that parents either be informed or give consent to minors seeking abortions.

In Texas, lawmakers have succeeded in shutting down several clinics by forcing abortion providers to have admitting privileges at local hospitals. Doctors are also required to show patients images from the ultrasound and make the fetal heartbeat audible. The new rules forced 12 of the state's 36 clinics to stop providing abortions.

But that doesn’t mean the right-to-lifers are giving up on the referendum front. There are several ballot questions already being prepped for the 2014 midterms, including another personhood referendum in Colorado.

However, instead of proposing modest, incremental changes, these groups seem intent on putting the most extreme anti-abortion propositions before voters — and the evidence shows that voters just aren't prepared to go there.
