The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Jerusalem gay pride parade stabbing suspect rejects court’s authority

A Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court judge extended the remand of Yishai Schlissel for 12 days at a Friday hearing for allegedly stabbing six people at the capital’s annual gay pride parade the previous day, although the ultra-Orthodox suspect said he rejects the court’s authority.

Schlissel, 50, of Modi'in Ilit in the West Bank – who was released from prison three weeks ago after serving a 10-year sentence for committing a similar crime at Jerusalem’s 2005 gay pride parade – said the court had no jurisprudence because it did not “follow the rules of the holy Torah.”

“I do not accept this court’s authority,” Schlissel defiantly told Judge Chana Miriam Lomp during the hearing. “This court is part of the mechanism of evil. I have no interest in cooperating at all. I do not recognize any of the regime’s institutions.”

Noting Schlissel’s previous conviction, the severity of the crime he is accused of, and that he poses an imminent threat to society, Lomp honored the police request to keep him behind bars for a minimum of 12 days.

Schlissel was tackled to the ground and arrested on Keren Hayesod Street, in downtown Jerusalem, less than 30 minutes into the march after wildly stabbing the six participants.

According to a Shaare Zedek Medical Center spokeswoman, a 17-year-old female victim who was treated there has been transferred to Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem and is in serious condition, while a 26-year-old man has been upgraded to stable condition.

The four remaining victims of the attack are recovering from light-to-moderate wounds.

In 2005, Schlissel was convicted of attempted murder and aggravated assault for stabbing three people marching in that year’s gay pride parade. Although he was initially sentenced to 12 years imprisonment, a successful 2007 appeal lowered the sentence by two years.

While Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said on Saturday that she could not comment on the case, the Judea and Samaria District Police issued a statement saying that although Schlissel resides in its jurisdiction, officers were not obligated to follow him into Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Post’s sister paper Maariv, reported that following Schlissel’s release from prison, he returned to his ultra-Orthodox West Bank community and penned a hand-written pamphlet railing against the impending parade.

“It is the obligation of every Jew to keep his soul from punishment and stop this giant desecration of God’s name next Thursday,” the pamphlet reportedly stated.

“Once again, the evildoers want to have a parade of sin, and of all places, in Jerusalem – city of the king of kings, blessed be he – in order to defile its holiness and desecrate its holy name on Thursday,” the missive continued.

“They are always looking for ways to desecrate God’s name even more.”

Shlissel, who wrote that the parade was a result of “our enormous sins,” added that such events constitute “tests from God” to determine peoples’ faith, “and if it matters to us if His name is desecrated so greatly, or if each person is only worried about himself.”

Moreover, Shlissel contended that it is incumbent on all religions to collectively reject displays of gay solidarity and pride.

“It is [an obligation] on all the religions to come together and stop this event,” he wrote.

Right Wing MK: Jerusalem Pride Parade Is an Abomination'

Habayit Hayehudi lawmaker Betzalel Smotrich calls anti-violence protest held in wake of stabbing a 'witch hunt' against those opposing LGBT rights.

One day after calling the Jerusalem gay pride parade, in which six people were stabbed, an “abomination march,” an Israeli lawmaker from the right-wing Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) party was standing by his remarks.

“So here I say it again fearlessly: I object vehemently to violence, and promise to object no less vehemently to the recognition of same-sex couples in the Jewish State,” Betzalel Smotrich wrote Sunday in a Facebook post. “I promise to fight violence, and no less than that, I will fight any attempt to besmirch traditional Jewish family values.”

Smotrich had made the remarks about the “abomination march” on Twitter the previous evening.

On Facebook, he called the Saturday night anti-violence protests in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, following the stabbing of six at the gay pride march in Jerusalem on Thursday and an arson attack on a Palestinian West Bank village the next day that killed an 18-month-old boy, “a left-wing witch hunt” and said they were “all incitement and silencing” against anyone who opposes the organizers’ views.

Smotrich said that demonstration organizers “saved [Habayit Hayehudi chairman Naftali] Bennett from himself,” by withdrawing an invitation for him to speak at the Tel Aviv rally. Bennett’s invitation was rescinded after a hostile reaction from participants to his participation and after he refused to sign a pledge committing to advancing homosexual-themed legislation.

Bennett, who said he was on his way to the rally when organizers called and told not to show up, tried to repair the damage done by Smotrich, but said he would not support recognition of same-sex marriage.

“I am in favor of full rights for the gay community,” Bennett told Army Radio on Sunday. “In terms of formal recognition by the State of Israel for marriage, I am not.”

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Bennett said: “Whoever wants to find me fighting against violence, I am next to him with all my strength. Whoever wants me to remain silent, I will stand up to him with all my heart.”

Meanwhile, three days after being critically wounded by an ultra-Orthodox man that went the stabbing rampage at Jerusalem's gay pride parade, Shira Banki, a 16-year-old Israeli teen, succumbed to her wounds Sunday afternoon. Five other people were wounded in the attack which was perpetrated by Yishai Schlissel, a Haredi man from Modiin Ilit who committed an identical attack at the 2005 gay pride march and was recently released from prison after serving a 10-year sentence.

Thousands march in Jerusalem Gay Pride under police guard

Thousands of revellers attended Jerusalem's Gay Pride parade under heavy police protection on Thursday, a year after an ultra-Orthodox Jew killed a teenager at the march. Marchers carried rainbow flags emblazoned with the Star of David and a group banged drums as they walked. Many laid flowers under a picture of Shira Banki, 16, who was killed at the march in July last year.

Jerusalem chief rabbi calls LGBT community 'cult of abomination'

Chief Sephardi Rabbi of Jerusalem Shlomo Amar spoke out harshly against Reform Jews and the LGBT community in an interview with Israel Hayom's weekend supplement this week. He went as far as to call Reform Jews "evil" and homosexuals "a cult of abomination," prompting LGBT community leaders to launch complaints with the police for incitement.

Tel Aviv LGBTQ Pride Week Is World's Largest Celebration Of What God Destroyed Both Sodom And Gomorrah For

“Tel Aviv Pride Parade is not just a celebration, but also an important declaration of support. Tel Aviv, which has already been acknowledged as the world’s ‘most gay-friendly city’ will continue to be a light-house city – spreading the values of freedom, tolerance and democracy to the world,” said Tel Aviv-Jaffa Mayor Ron Huldai.

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Remember Lot’s wife.” Luke 17:28,29,32 (KJV)

The Bible tells us, that in the last days, life in our society will be like it was back in the days of Lot, and the gay and lesbian community that existed back then. God allowed them to grow and expand to the point where the Old Testament LGBTQ filled all the land of both Sodom and Gomorrah. They demanded, and got, queer rights, a queer government and a queer society. God let it all come together until their ‘cup’ was full, then He had the last word by simultaneously wiping out both cities  by raining down fire and brimstone. instantly killing everyone.

The God of the Old Testament is the exact same God of the New Testament, and His opinion of the LGBTQ lifestyle still hasnt changed one tiny bit. Pope Francis’ proclamation that to the LGBTQ community that ‘God made you Gay‘ is a stunningly false statement that is immediately refuted by both Testaments of scripture.

<span data-mce-type="bookmark" style="display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;" class="mce_SELRES_start"></span>

All this brings us to today’s story about Gay Pride Week celebrations that will begin in Tel Aviv, Israel, on June 8th, and it asks a very pertinent question. How is it possible that the Jews, who the Bible says are God’s chosen people, whose ancestors were the Old Testament prophets, are responsible to staging the world’s largest LGBTQ celebration anywhere in the world? It boggles the mind to consider the dichotomy it presents.

Last year, over 200,000 people from Israel and abroad attended Tel Aviv’s Gay Pride Parade, packing the streets for the colorful annual event under this year’s theme “Bisexuality Visibility.”

In your King James Bible, the word ‘cup’ appear exactly 68 times and it usually has one of two meanings. It can be a good thing, like in Psalm 23 where King David talks about ‘my cup runneth over’ with the goodness and blessings of the Lord. And the word ‘cup’ can also be a bad thing, a very bad thing, that speaks to a cup being filled that when its height is reached, God’s judgment will pour out and be rained down upon the offenders.

“Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.” Isaiah 51:17 (KJV)

Israel was regathered on May 14th, 1948, in glorious fulfillment of Bible prophecy, but while the sons of Jacob were regathered physically, they have not returned to the LORD spiritually. In fact, as the nation of Israel continues to grow and prosper to such astonishing degrees, because of their rebellion to the God of Abraham, they are actually filling the ‘cup’ that will be poured out upon them in what the Bible refers to as the time of Jacob’s trouble.

It is sadly ironic that Israel refers to the Tel Aviv Pride Week celebrations as ‘spreading the values of freedom, tolerance and democracy to the world’ when in fact it is creating many of the reasons for why Israel, and the entire world, will be plunged into a time of global judgment  that will result in the most horrific tribulation that this world will ever see.
