It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country.  and legitimacy of Patrick Heron?

I've listened to Heron a couple of times - one time it was an interview on George Noory. My (big)gripe with him is that he doesn't use the KJV. Other than that, I thought he was a decent listen when he discussed end times prophecies. He was also on another NWO/end times presentation. I can't remember the name of it, but he gave some nice contributions.

As for Jack Van Impe - yes, he's a false prophet. Once upon a time ago he bore good fruit(ie-from what I understand, he pastored a small, indie fundamental church and stood strong in the word). But this was until he sold himself out(which was why he ended up getting a lucrative position on TBN, and all of a sudden he started praising the Pope).

Van Impe exposes have been posted on here a year ago. Just hang on for a sec, and will see what I can find.

Another thing(and an example from my experiences)...

In the Spring of last year, my church had us watch a presentation of a guy in my metroplex who did an expose on Islam(Jim Dennison). The first half of his presentation was OK, but as it was going along, his heresies and deceptions slowly but surely came out(ie-he said that when we witness to Muslims, we have to use the name Isa - as we all know, while Isa means Jesus, it is NOT the Jesus of the Bible, but of the QURAN). And like the rest of the NAR wolves, he said how we need to evangelize millions of Muslims to open up the 5th Great Awakening(which New Agers believe in).

Later when I got home, I did some research on him, and saw his web site(and a short youtube video) - couldn't believe how this guy wrote articles in the area papers promoting the SOCIAL JUSTICE "can't we just all get along" gospel. But en yet, when I did a search of "Jim Dennison exposed" on Yahoo, NOTHING popped up. On the contrary, when you do a search for "Billy Graham exposed", 100s of results pop up. Dennison also seems to have gone under the radar from alot of these end times discernment ministries as well(ie-have yet to hear anything about him from Jan Markell, or even Joe Schimmel who I like, FWIW).

Ultimately, point being that there are just SO many false prophets and teachers out there, that it's become incredibly hard to keep up with all of them.

Just to answer your question about Patrick Heron - yeah, my big gripe is that he doesn't use the KJV, but other than that the couple of times I've heard him talking about end times prophecies, he's done a decent job. Is he a false prophet/teacher? "test the spirits...for many false prophets are come into the world" is all we can do with ANYONE(including myself and everyone else on this forum).

There is some evidence that Van Impe has parted ways with old proclomations of 1995 and is exposing AC's False Prophet as Pope:

Van Impe was merely reading off a "prophecy" St. Malachi made many moons ago - the one about how there would be 112 or so Popes before the last Pope(Peter the Roman) would have a short reign on the earth(before destruction). I'll admit that I myself find this "prophecy" somewhat eyepopping b/c right now, we are on that 112th(or is it 111th) Pope, Benedict, who also happens to be 85 and in very poor health(and was perceived as an "outsider" when he was appointed in 2005). And he was using Catholic sources when describing the AC/FP end time prophecies as well(some of which didn't make sense).

One thing about Van Impe is that it's not that he's blatant in his support of the Pope et al, but he'll go along like he's speaking truth, then out of the blue he'll let something like "But Jerome said this..." slip in(Jerome was a prominent Catholic).

For the record, no, I don't endorse St. Malachi's "prophecies", especially this one, but just wanted to point out that this could be one of his "prophecies" that may end up coming true(but of course that doesn't make him a true prophet).

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Van Impe backed some of the Cloud Ten Pictures stuff. These movies inspired me at the time. Since then, I’ve developed a few questions about some of the thing portrayed. I look more at the message vice the messenger and try to parse out the false irregularities. Parsing comes from Berean-ing the presented information. Certain multimedia still has some value to stimulate thinking though. If it’s a new-to-me topic then it grabs my interest. I've had God use some completely secular movies to show me something that He wanted me to know.

As for Van Impe, he’s just as human as everybody else and subject to more or less error. He can also change his position over time if he’s still teachable. If he claims to be a prophet, then that changes things a bit. Guys like that are a dime-a-dozen these days.

The line of popes is claimed that the current pope is the next to last one, that the next one is it.

Van Impe? False prophet. No need to waste any more time on that guy than that.

Next question.

http://news.msn.com/us/us-senate-race-in-kansas-expected-to-end-up-in-court
U.S. Senate race in Kansas expected to end up in court
9/7/14

KANSAS CITY Kan. (Reuters) - The Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Kansas is expected to file a lawsuit on Monday to keep his name off the November ballot, a party leader said on Saturday.

Democrat Chad Taylor, a county prosecutor, filed papers to withdraw from the U.S. Senate race on Wednesday, which could give independent candidate Greg Orman a boost against incumbent Republican Senator Pat Roberts.

However, the Kansas Secretary of State, Republican Kris Kobach, has said Taylor did not follow the rules when he tried to withdraw and ordered him to stay on the ballot, a position Taylor firmly denies.

Taylor's campaign staff has told party officials he is taking legal action to overturn Kobach's decision, Kansas Democratic Party Chairwoman Joan Wagnon said on Saturday.

"He is still collecting affidavits and he will file that lawsuit on Monday," Wagnon said.

Taylor has not responded to messages left at his campaign office and has not said why he seeks to withdraw from the race.

His withdrawal would prevent Taylor and Orman from splitting votes and give a boost to the independent, potentially helping Democrats retain a U.S. Senate majority in November.

Republicans must pick up a handful of seats to control the U.S. Senate and have counted on Roberts holding his position.

Roberts and Orman debated Saturday at the Kansas State Fair, disagreeing over whether Taylor withdrew on his own or at the request of Democratic leaders. Taylor did not attend.

"This is the first time I've ever seen the national Democrats work really hard to get a Democrat off the ballot," Roberts said.

Orman said Democrats did not consult his campaign before Taylor filed the withdrawal papers.

"All I can say is I think our progress at the polls was obviously something he had to take into consideration," he said.

Taylor has trailed Roberts in the polls and in fund-raising and Orman is seen as having a better chance in the conservative state of toppling the incumbent if there is a two-way race.

Roberts received 37 percent, Taylor 32 percent and Orman 20 percent in a SurveyUSA poll for KSN-TV Wichita taken from Aug. 20 to Aug. 23, which had a 4.2 percentage point margin of error.

Juanita Bynum, Twice-Divorced ‘Prophetess’ Who Spoke at Homosexual ‘Ordination,’ to Be Made Bishop

A self-proclaimed “prophetess” who divorced her second husband in 2008 and raised concern in 2009 after it was found that she spoke during an ordination service for a homosexual minister is set to be promoted to the position of bishop.

Juanita Bynum is a Georgia-based speaker and author of the books “Walking in Your Destiny,” “Heart Matters,” and “No More Sheets,” the latter of which resulted in Bynum revealing that she once had been involved in lesbianism.

“I’ve done the drugs, you know, I’ve been with men, I’ve been with women,” she told the “Frank & Wanda in the Morning” show in 2012.

Bynum also discussed her divorce to her second husband, Bishop Thomas Weeks III, who she said physically abused her.

“That abuse that I suffered was because I attracted after my own kind,” she stated. “That abuse was already sitting in me. I had already abused myself mentally and emotionally for years, trying to fill a void that only the power of purpose can fill.”

Bynum has been a regular on the global Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and has spoken at T.D. Jakes’ “Woman, Thou Art Loosed” conference.

In 2009, she spoke at Vision Church in Atlanta during an ordination service for a homosexual minister. During her talk, part of which was posted online, Bynum praised the congregation for providing financial support and other aid during her divorce and subsequent tax problems.

Bynum also specifically addressed an elder in the congregation named Alana Thompson, a lesbian whose child was conceived after she placed an ad on Craigslist seeking a sperm donor.

“Alana, you are an amazing person,” she said, thanking her for her support. “We just love you. … You’re not just my friend. I keep telling you, you’re my sister from another mother.”

“Vision Church” is led by Oliver Clyde Allen, who has lived with his partner Rashad Burgess since 2002. Burgess is called the “first gentleman” of the congregation, and the men have adopted two children.

Global United Fellowship, led by Bishop Neil Ellis, has now announced that it will promote Bynum to the position of bishop.

“GUF professes they will not allow any name denomination, doctrine, tradition, socio-economic or cultural composition, to separate or prevent us from experiencing the authentic fellowship of the saints of the Living God,” reads a report about her elevation. “Their focus is on empowering and the perfecting of the saints through biblical training, mentoring, discipling, personal and ministry development.”

The organization also seeks to “focus on the cultivation of spiritual gifts rather than on doctrines and theological positions.”

There are a number of bishops serving in Global United Fellowship, including Carolyn Showell, who serves a vice presiding bishop.

Watch Benny Hinn And Some Of America’s Top False Prophets Just Make Stuff Up And Tell You It’s Prophecy

In this latest fraud perpetrated against the body of Christ, Benny Hinn is seen leading the charge into apostasy with his "revelation from God" that the deaths of Oral Roberts on December 15, 2009, and the coming death of Billy Graham will be the "twin signs" that ushers in the end times.

Don’t be fooled by this Laodicean foolishness, it’s all a scam to get you to “send in those prayer cards” with checks and cash attached.

“A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:30,31 (KJV)

Benny Hinn and company look each other right in the eye, and with such conviction they began to spout off about the hidden “prophecies of the end times” that only they and their anointed bunch of thieves and fakers have access to. As one after another steps up to “prophesy”, they ooh-and-ahh over this latest “nugget from on high” as if God was giving them fresh revelation that the Bible knows nothing about.

In this latest fraud perpetrated against the body of Christ, Benny Hinn is seen leading the charge into apostasy with his “revelation from God” that the death of Oral Roberts on December 15, 2009, and the coming death of Billy Graham will be the “twin signs” that ushers in the end times.

Benny Hinn starts by passing the ball to one of his cohorts and exhorts him to “exercise his prophetic gift” where we hear something equally fantastical. This time we are told, after the deaths of Roberts and Graham, God will “release His hidden ones” to travel the globe working miracles and bamboozling the gullible.

Sadly, Christians all over the world who know nothing about Bible prophecy, lap this stuff up as if Jesus Himself had uttered it. But don’t be fooled by this Laodicean foolishness, it’s all a scam to get you to “send in those prayer cards” with checks and cash attached. Nothing said in the video is the truth and none of it lines up with the Bible.

Now you know, tell a friend.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-inauguration-religious-leaders-111318347.html
2 religious leaders at Trump’s inauguration preach the 'prosperity gospel'
January 20, 2017

During Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday, five Christian leaders and one rabbi will offer readings and prayer for the new administration. At first glance, the standout among those religious figures might be Rabbi Marvin Hier, the first Jewish leader to pray at a presidential swearing-in since Ronald Reagan took the oath of office in 1985.

Still, President-elect Donald Trump’s decision to choose a Jewish leader isn’t particularly surprising, since his daughter converted to Judaism and his son-in-law’s parents have a longstanding relationship with Hier.

The more controversial picks may be the two Christian leaders who preach the so-called prosperity gospel. According to Brian Fikkert and Steve Corbett, the authors of “When Helping Hurts,” this form of theology “teaches that God rewards increasing levels of faith with greater amounts of wealth.” This belief typically incorporates preaching from the pulpit that true believers must open up their pockets if they want God to shower them with abundant blessings.

Who else will be speaking?

Paula White, Trump’s spiritual advisor

Trump has confided in Paula White as his spiritual advisor for over 14 years. White is the only woman speaking at the inauguration and will chair his Evangelical Advisory Board during his administration. As the senior pastor of the non-denominational church New Destiny Christian Center, she previously hosted her own show, “Paula White Today,” on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), a global Christian TV channel.

“I can absolutely tell you that Mr. Trump has a relationship with God. He is a Christian, he accepts Jesus as his Lord and savior,” White said in an interview with POLITICO last year.

According to the interview, Trump first noticed her while he was watching Christian television. He says she’s “fantastic.”

Prior to New Destiny, White co-founded Tampa, Florida-based Without Walls International Church with her now ex-husband, Randy White. In 2007, Iowa Senator Charles Grassley, a member of the Senate Finance Committee, launched an investigation into the financial practices of the churches led by the Whites and some of the country’s other big televangelists like Benny Hinn and Joyce Meyer.

The findings of that investigation suggested White had a lavish lifestyle. For example, the Whites owned a $2.6 million, 8,000-square-foot waterfront home with a concrete pool and spa in Tampa, according to property records cited by the Senate Finance Committee. White and her then-husband also purchased a $3.5 million condo in (none other than) Trump Tower in New York City, an “insider” told the Senate committee. An “insider” familiar with the church also told the committee that the Whites received housing allowances for both residences.

The Whites also each received compensation of more than $1 million, an insider told the Senate committee. That’s despite the fact that the church itself seemed to be in financial trouble.

In August 2008, Without Walls International defaulted on a $1 million loan due to a credit union and had to file for bankruptcy, the Senate report noted. While the Senate committee ended the probe without penalizing any of the churches involved, the investigation did bring to light some unsavory allegations.

Earlier this month, theologian Michael Horton criticized White in an op-ed in the Washington Post, noting: “Televangelist White has a lot in common with Trump…Both are in their third marriage and have endured decades of moral and financial scandal.”

In response to attacks like Horton’s, White said, in an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett, “Yes, I have gone through divorce, yes I’ve gone through things. I believe marriage is an absolute sacred institution of God…These are things that happen in life. Not everything is perfect in my life but I don’t think everything is perfect in anybody’s life. And that is why we need salvation. That is what redemption is all about. Thank God for his goodness or we’d all be in trouble.”

We also reached out to White for comment on criticisms of the prosperity gospel but did not immediately receive a response.

Despite the criticisms, White has a huge following, and a sort of celebrity status (she’s now married to Jonathan Cain, the keyboard player for the band Journey).

Trump begins Day Two of presidency with prayers

WASHINGTON — President Trump's first full day includes prayers and a visit with spies.

Nearly 24 hours after being sworn in as the nation's 45th president, Trump attended a National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral before traveling to CIA headquarters "to thank the men and women of the intelligence community," spokesman Sean Spicer said.

Meanwhile, thousands marched in the city's streets of Washington, D.C., to protest his presidency and even challenge its legitimacy.

The CIA visit comes after the new president clashed with intelligence officials during the post-election transition over investigations into Russian hacking of Democratic political officials last year.

Intelligence officials said Russia engineered the hacking in an effort to help Trump, while Trump and supporters said other countries could have been involved. He also claimed the intelligence community leaked damaging information on him, including allegations out of Russia. Trump later acknowledged that Russia was behind the hacking, but that it didn't affect the counting of votes.

In other second-day developments:

• The Trump Department of Justice said the president is within his rights to hire son-in-law Jared Kushner as a White House adviser; a DOJ memorandum said a nepotism law passed by Congress does not apply to the executive branch.

• Trump again took to social media, as he tweeted praise for Friday's inaugural events (and one news network's coverage of it).

"A fantastic day and evening in Washington D.C.," Trump said. "Thank you to @FoxNews and so many other news outlets for the GREAT reviews of the speech!"

Others criticized Trump's inaugural address, calling it too dark and pessimistic. Citing the specters of crime, poor education, and shuttered factories, the new president told his constituents, "this American carnage stops right here and stops right now."

A New York Times editorial said Trump ignored positive developments in law enforcement and economic opportunity, and that "the new president offered a tortured rewrite of American history — ignoring the injustices of the past as well as the nation’s economic resilience and social achievements in recent decades."

Trump uses his personal Twitter feed for the post, rather than the official @POTUS one.

The new president extolled his Twitter use during one of the inaugural balls Friday night, asking the crowd, "should I keep the Twitter going or not?" When supporters roared their approval, Trump replied, "I think so. You know, the enemies keep saying, 'oh, that’s terrible.' But it’s a way of bypassing dishonest media.”

Trump supporters said the inaugural address gave them hope he will be able to create the conditions for more jobs and better trade agreements with foreign competitors.

Ray Reynolds, a free-lance photographer from Martinsville, Va., and "Super Volunteer" who made the inauguration ceremony his 47th Trump event, said it was like a "rock concert" that renewed the spirit of his supporters. Reynolds described Trump's non-political business background as an asset: "A successful businessman knows how to negotiate the best deals for the best price."

After the speech and an inaugural parade, Trump signed a series of executive orders that included a demand to federal agencies they they work to reduce the "economic burden" of President Obama's health care law, part of the Republicans' effort to "repeal and replace" the law known as Obamacare.

The Trump administration also ordered a regulatory freeze, similar to the ones imposed imposed by presidents Obama and Bush at the start of their terms.

Newly Trump-led agencies and departments are also starting to assert their authority.

On another social media front, The Washington Post reported that the administration ordered the Interior Department to shut down its Twitter account after it opposed unflattering pictures of the size of the crowd at Trump's inaugural, much smaller than the one Obama had in 2009.

“All bureaus and the department have been directed by incoming administration to shut down Twitter platforms immediately until further notice,” said an email obtained by the Post.

Some congressional Democrats continue to assert that Trump's very presidency is illegal because of ongoing business interests; Trump said he has turned over all of his business operations to his sons and other managers, but ethics attorneys said that is not good enough.

U.S. Rep. Ted W. Lieu, D-Calif., said he has begun a "Cloud of Illegitimacy Clock" to time the businessman's ongoing violations of the Constitution.

"While holding office, Mr. Trump will receive — by virtue of his continued interest in the vast and global Trump Organization and his stake in hundreds of other entities — steady stream of monetary and other benefits from foreign powers and their agents," Lieu said. "This is illegal."
