The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. I'm 2/3 done with this video posted 2 posts above - stopped it at the 1:02:00 mark b/c something really caught my attention - the Theresa Rhoades woman...look how this "industry" is playing its part in WARRING AGAINST THE FAMILY.

Her daughter was diagnosed with a mental illness just b/c her parents discipline her to do her homework and chores around the house FIRST before anything else? Huh

Seriously - no wonder why the family unit is in incredible disaray now - you have single parent households. Children born out of wedlock. Divorce rates skyrocketing. Dead-beat moms/dads. All b/c their previous generations got stubbornly and rebelliously laxed in terms of training up their children.

Personally, as you all know, I was under the bondage in this "industry" once upon a time ago - and therapists in these "institutions" were making me to believe too that my parents were at fault for very similar reasons.

Ultimately - I will say this - I am VERY thankful that my mom warned me about the many dangers of this world like rock music, partying late at night, secular movies, being careful in terms of choosing friends, etc when I was growing up. Yes, I'll admit I rebelled and did the opposite for years - but the fruit of her warnings and disciplining toward me REALLY reaped WHOLESOME in the LONG run(ie-I used to be obsessed with Hollywood movies for years and years, until her words, as well as the words in the KJB, really sank into my ears in recent years).

Ephesians 6:1  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Eph 6:2  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
Eph 6:3  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

No - this ISN'T a salvation issue, per se - but nonetheless even Christians who disobey this very commandment WILL live very miserable lives while they're on this earth(personally, been there done that).

http://www.naturalnews.com/045419_Elliot_Rodger_Xanax_psychiatric_drugs.html
Elliot Rodger, like nearly all young killers, was taking psychiatric drugs (Xanax)

6/3/14

(NaturalNews) Like nearly all mass murderers and psycho killers, Elliot Rodger is now confirmed to have been taking massive doses of psychiatric drugs. Law enforcement authorities have now confirmed Elliot Rodger, the "sorority girl" killer of Isla Vista, California, was taking massive doses of Xanax, a psychiatric drug belonging to a class of chemicals called benzodiazepines.

"Elliot had been taking Xanax for awhile, according to his parents ... there were fears he might have been addicted to it, or taking more than was prescribed," a law enforcement source told RadarOnline (1), which first broke the story.

"The Xanax had been prescribed to Elliot by a family doctor," the story continues.

A second story on RadarOnline (2) explores, "disturbing details about the community college student's dependence on Xanax."

That story goes on to report:

Based on interviews with Elliot's parents, Peter and Li Chen, the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department "is being told that he was likely addicted to Xanax ... Peter and Li have been doing basic research on addiction to Xanax, and based on what they have read, they believe the tranquilizer made him more withdrawn, lonely, isolated, and anxious," a source told Radar. "It's their understanding that when Xanax is taken in large amounts, or more than the prescribed dosage, these are some of the side effects."

Time after time, mass murderers are found to have been taking psychiatric drugs

Elliot Rodger now joins a long and ever-expanding list of other killers who were either taking psychiatric drugs or withdrawing from them at the time they committed mass murder.

While the mainstream media predictably blames guns for all mass shootings, it rarely looks at the chemical drugging of the person who pulled the trigger on those guns. After all, guns don't operate by themselves. They require a person to make a decision to commit murder.

In case after case, mass murderers on psychotropic drugs describe themselves as feeling withdrawn, isolated, distant and almost living out a "video game" that isn't real. This is what psychiatric drugs to do you: they make you feel detached from reality.

Here's just some of the true history of psychiatric drugs and mass murder:

* Eric Harris age 17 (first on Zoloft then Luvox) and Dylan Klebold aged 18 (Columbine school shooting in Littleton, Colorado), killed 12 students and 1 teacher, and wounded 23 others, before killing themselves. Klebold's medical records have never been made available to the public.

* Jeff Weise, age 16, had been prescribed 60 mg/day of Prozac (three times the average starting dose for adults!) when he shot his grandfather, his grandfather's girlfriend and many fellow students at Red Lake, Minnesota. He then shot himself. 10 dead, 12 wounded.

* Cory Baadsgaard, age 16, Wahluke (Washington state) High School, was on Paxil (which caused him to have hallucinations) when he took a rifle to his high school and held 23 classmates hostage. He has no memory of the event.

* Chris Fetters, age 13, killed his favorite aunt while taking Prozac.

* Christopher Pittman, age 12, murdered both his grandparents while taking Zoloft.

* Mathew Miller, age 13, hung himself in his bedroom closet after taking Zoloft for 6 days.

* Kip Kinkel, age 15, (on Prozac and Ritalin) shot his parents while they slept then went to school and opened fire killing 2 classmates and injuring 22 shortly after beginning Prozac treatment.

* Luke Woodham, age 16 (Prozac) killed his mother and then killed two students, wounding six others.

* A boy in Pocatello, ID (Zoloft) in 1998 had a Zoloft-induced seizure that caused an armed stand off at his school.

* Michael Carneal (Ritalin), age 14, opened fire on students at a high school prayer meeting in West Paducah, Kentucky. Three teenagers were killed, five others were wounded..

* A young man in Huntsville, Alabama (Ritalin) went psychotic chopping up his parents with an ax and also killing one sibling and almost murdering another.

* Andrew Golden, age 11, (Ritalin) and Mitchell Johnson, aged 14, (Ritalin) shot 15 people, killing four students, one teacher, and wounding 10 others.

* TJ Solomon, age 15, (Ritalin) high school student in Conyers, Georgia opened fire on and wounded six of his class mates.

* Rod Mathews, age 14, (Ritalin) beat a classmate to death with a bat.

* James Wilson, age 19, (various psychiatric drugs) from Breenwood, South Carolina, took a .22 caliber revolver into an elementary school killing two young girls, and wounding seven other children and two teachers.

* Elizabeth Bush, age 13, (Paxil) was responsible for a school shooting in Pennsylvania

* Jason Hoffman (Effexor and Celexa) – school shooting in El Cajon, California

* Jarred Viktor, age 15, (Paxil), after five days on Paxil he stabbed his grandmother 61 times.

* Chris Shanahan, age 15 (Paxil) in Rigby, ID who out of the blue killed a woman.

* Jeff Franklin (Prozac and Ritalin), Huntsville, AL, killed his parents as they came home from work using a sledge hammer, hatchet, butcher knife and mechanic's file, then attacked his younger brothers and sister.

* Neal Furrow (Prozac) in LA Jewish school shooting reported to have been court-ordered to be on Prozac along with several other medications.

* Kevin Rider, age 14, was withdrawing from Prozac when he died from a gunshot wound to his head. Initially it was ruled a suicide, but two years later, the investigation into his death was opened as a possible homicide. The prime suspect, also age 14, had been taking Zoloft and other SSRI antidepressants.

* Alex Kim, age 13, hung himself shortly after his Lexapro prescription had been doubled.

* Diane Routhier was prescribed Welbutrin for gallstone problems. Six days later, after suffering many adverse effects of the drug, she shot herself.

* Billy Willkomm, an accomplished wrestler and a University of Florida student, was prescribed Prozac at the age of 17. His family found him dead of suicide – hanging from a tall ladder at the family's Gulf Shore Boulevard home in July 2002.

* Kara Jaye Anne Fuller-Otter, age 12, was on Paxil when she hung herself from a hook in her closet. Kara's parents said ".... the damn doctor wouldn't take her off it and I asked him to when we went in on the second visit. I told him I thought she was having some sort of reaction to Paxil...")

* Gareth Christian, Vancouver, age 18, was on Paxil when he committed suicide in 2002, (Gareth's father could not accept his son's death and killed himself.)

* Julie Woodward, age 17, was on Zoloft when she hung herself in her family's detached garage.

* Matthew Miller was 13 when he saw a psychiatrist because he was having difficulty at school. The psychiatrist gave him samples of Zoloft. Seven days later his mother found him dead, hanging by a belt from a laundry hook in his closet.

* Kurt Danysh, age 18, and on Prozac, killed his father with a shotgun. He is now behind prison bars, and writes letters, trying to warn the world that SSRI drugs can kill.

* Woody, age 37, committed suicide while in his 5th week of taking Zoloft. Shortly before his death his physician suggested doubling the dose of the drug. He had seen his physician only for insomnia. He had never been depressed, nor did he have any history of any mental illness symptoms.

* A boy from Houston, age 10, shot and killed his father after his Prozac dosage was increased.

* Hammad Memon, age 15, shot and killed a fellow middle school student. He had been diagnosed with ADHD and depression and was taking Zoloft and "other drugs for the conditions."

* Matti Saari, a 22-year-old culinary student, shot and killed 9 students and a teacher, and wounded another student, before killing himself. Saari was taking an SSRI and a benzodiazapine.

* Steven Kazmierczak, age 27, shot and killed five people and wounded 21 others before killing himself in a Northern Illinois University auditorium. According to his girlfriend, he had recently been taking Prozac, Xanax and Ambien. Toxicology results showed that he still had trace amounts of Xanax in his system.

* Finnish gunman Pekka-Eric Auvinen, age 18, had been taking antidepressants before he killed eight people and wounded a dozen more at Jokela High School – then he committed suicide.

* Asa Coon from Cleveland, age 14, shot and wounded four before taking his own life. Court records show Coon was on Trazodone.

* Jon Romano, age 16, on medication for depression, fired a shotgun at a teacher in his New York high school.

Missing from list... 3 of 4 known to have taken these same meds....

* What drugs was Jared Lee Loughner on, age 21... killed 6 people and injuring 14 others in Tuscon, Az?

* What drugs was James Eagan Holmes on, age 24... killed 12 people and injuring 59 others in Aurora Colorado?

* What drugs was Jacob Tyler Roberts on, age 22, killed 2 injured 1, Clackamas Or?

* What drugs was Adam Peter Lanza on, age 20, Killed 26 and wounded 2 in Newtown Ct?

Over 10,000 American Toddlers Are Being Given ADHD Drugs
June 3, 2014

And once again, our country’s disadvantaged kids are being unnecessarily medicated nearly three times more often.

According to CDC officials, more than 10,000 American toddlers—children who are just 2 or 3 years old—are being medicated for alleged attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

There are few studies on the impact of psychostimulant ADHD drugs like methylphenidate (Ritalin) or amphetamines (like Adderall) in children this young. However, we do know that the side effects of ADHD drugs include stunted growth, insomnia, hallucinations, high blood pressure, involuntary movements, aggressive behavior, heart attack, brain hemorrhage, stroke, migraines, and seizures. Emerging evidence also suggests that Ritalin can cause long-term damage to developing prefrontal cortexes, resulting in “rigid behavior, difficulties with multitasking, or problems with short-term memory” later in life.

Technically, there is not even a diagnosis for ADHD in children under 3 years old. In part, this is because “hyperactivity and impulsivity are developmentally appropriate for toddlers”—meaning that we’re medicating kids just for being kids.

Another fact illuminated by the CDC study: toddlers on Medicaid—free or low-cost healthcare provided by the government for low income families—are disproportionately more likely to be prescribed ADHD drugs. The CDC analysis, which studied Medicaid recipients in Georgia and projected the data nationally, found that one in 225 toddlers on Medicaid are being medicated for ADHD. This means at least 10,000 poor kids are being drugged for a medically nonexistent disorder. By way of comparison, only 4,000 toddlers covered by private insurance are being given ADHD meds.

Researchers also found that “effective non-pharmacological treatments,” including providing “a more structured environment” for children, were being ignored.

It’s not just ADHD drugs—here’s what else kids and adults on Medicaid are more likely to be prescribed:

Powerful anti-psychotic medications. Kids on Medicaid are prescribed powerful antipsychotic medications at a rate four times higher than children on private insurance: from 2001 to 2004, 4% of Medicaid kids aged 6 to 17 received anti-psychotic drugs (less than 1% of kids on private insurance did).

Poorer kids are also more likely to be drugged for less severe conditions than middle class kids. For example, while anti-psychotics are intended to treat disorders like schizophrenia, autism, and bipolar disorder, poorer kids are more likely to be prescribed these dangerous meds for ADHD and simple misbehavior. This is called “off label” prescribing: it’s perfectly legal, though there are no long-term studies on the effect of these very dangerous drugs on children when prescribed for less severe conditions.

Antibiotics—for colds. More than half of adult Medicaid patients with colds or respiratory track infections were prescribed antibiotics in 2007—although antibiotics are not recommended in these cases and such inappropriate prescribing directly contributes to the global antibiotics resistance crisis.

Addictive opioids. As we recently reported, one in five pregnant women now take opioid painkillers. What’s worse, women on Medicaid are being prescribed painkillers during pregnancy at much higher rates: 23% of women on Medicaid, compared to 14% of women with private insurance, are being prescribed opioids (Medicaid covers the medical expenses for 45% of American births).

Additionally, a CDC report that analyzed opioid overdose deaths in Washington State from 2004 to 2007 found that 45.4% percent of overdose deaths were among persons enrolled in Medicaid. The overdose death rate was 30.8 per 100,000 people in the Medicaid-enrolled population, and just 4 per 100,000 in the non-Medicaid population.

What’s going on here? Why are our country’s poor so much more likely to be prescribed dangerous drugs?

Over all, research has shown that Medicaid patients don’t fare much better than those without insurance. Here’s why:

Medicaid often reimburses doctors much less for non-drug interventions like counseling and therapy than it does for drug prescriptions.

Some characteristics of disadvantaged neighborhoods—which form much of the Medicaid population— may contribute to misbehavior in kids. According to Dr. Nancy Rapport, a child psychiatrist who specializes in underprivileged youth, home environments can lead to “symptoms” of ADHD: “In acting out and being hard to control, they’re signaling the chaos in their environment. Of course only some homes are like this—but if you have a family with domestic violence, drug or alcohol abuse, or a parent neglecting a two-year-old, the kid might look impulsive or aggressive. And the parent might just want a quick fix, and the easiest thing to do is medicate. It’s a travesty.”

Fewer and fewer doctors will see Medicaid patients, particularly since the Affordable Care Act vastly expanded the Medicaid program. It’s reasonable to assume that the doctors who do accept Medicaid patients have less and less time to spend with their patients, and are thus much more likely to use a “take these drugs and call me in the morning” approach. This is especially true of psychiatrists: a full 56% are not open to seeing new Medicaid patients. Since there can be extremely long wait times for psychiatrists accepting Medicaid, it’s often pediatricians that prescribe the medications. Not only are Medicaid kids not spending enough time with doctors, they’re likely not even seeing the right ones: only one in five children are receiving treatment for emotional and behavior “disorders” from an “appropriately trained professional.”

Particularly when Uncle Sam is footing the bill, “selling” cash cow psychiatric drugs to poor kids is a favorite pastime of drug companies. In 2008 alone, psychiatric drugs netted $40.3 billion to Big Pharma; meanwhile, prescriptions for psychiatric drugs for kids rose nearly 45% between 2002 and 2007. In 2009, Pfizer was forced to pay a $2.3 billion settlement for illegally paying 250 child psychiatrists to promote the off-label prescription of Geodon—a powerful antipsychotic—to teens. One doctor was given $4,000 a day to promote its off-label use at conferences to doctors who had no idea he was being paid to do so.

Whatever the reasoning, over-prescription of dangerous drugs to kids—regardless of their socioeconomic status—is killing our children.

Take, for example, the case of four-year-old Rebecca Riley. On December 13, 2006, paramedics arrived at her Massachusetts home to find her slumped over her parents’ bed, dead. Medical examiners identified the cause of death brought on by the medications she was prescribed for ADHD and bipolar disorder when she was just two years old: Depakote, Seoquel, and Clonidine. None of the drugs Rebecca was prescribed are approved by the FDA for use in children her age.

What kind of society treats its children this way? Is nothing more important than drug company profits?

FYI, the MSM "talking heads" are using Robin Williams' suicide to push this "mental health" agenda(supposedly Williams had that "chemical imbalance" depression). And from there they were able to squeeze in socialized medicine(ie-Obamacare) and gun control!(when they talked about "mentally ill" people doing shootings at schools and public places)

Remember they did the same thing when Rick Warren's son (supposedly)committed suicide last year.

I guess by their logic, Apostle Paul had "depression" too...

Romans 7:7  What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Rom 7:8  But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
Rom 7:9  For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
Rom 7:10  And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.
Rom 7:11  For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
Rom 7:12  Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Rom 7:13  Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
Rom 7:14  For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15  For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16  If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19  For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20  Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Rom 7:22  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

And Peter...

1Peter 1:6  Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
1Pe 1:7  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1Pe 1:8  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1Pe 1:9  Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

good verses BA2, i think that 99% of psychiatrists wouldn't understand the verses you gave here though
and remember alot of psychiatrists kill themselves because of the spiritual ramifications of what they sow,
one cant go and destroy peoples minds for the sake of money and get away with it, God repays the works of darkness.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Hebrews 10:30    For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Robin Williams's Suicide Inspires Others to Speak Out About Depression
8/13/14
https://www.yahoo.com/health/robin-williamss-suicide-inspires-others-to-speak-out-94643251217.html

Depression is a mental disorder that carries with it a stubborn social stigma, as well as a thunderous silence. But ever since Monday, when the heartbreaking news of Robin Williams’s suicide came with the detail that he was “battling severe depression of late,” the floodgates of personal sharing on the topic have busted wide open. Across the Internet, in spaces from Twitter and Facebook to individual blogs and the columns of major news sites, people both well known and obscure are coming forward to talk about battles with demons of their own.

“I am lucky to be alive,” wrote celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on his Facebook page. “And even luckier that I didn’t listen to that doctor who misdiagnosed me as bipolar after meeting me only once when I was thinking of suicide daily for months during a powerful depression in my mid-20s. Talking openly about #depression removes any ‘stigma’ or ‘shame.’ You don’t have to suffer silently!”

It’s a truth that’s finally getting out there, which, despite the fact that it took a tragedy to make it happen, is positive, according to Chicago-based clinical psychologist Karen Cassiday, president-elect of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. “I think it’s a very good thing that people are disclosing their depression, as it leads not only to social support, but also social recognition,” she told Yahoo Health. “If something is kept silent, it creates stigma. It’s important for people to find out that they are not alone.”

**You see how craftily they are going after born-again believers? No - they will NOT give this "social recognition" label to born-again believers in this lost world. But obviously - it doesn't matter anyways as our inheritance is with eternal life with Jesus Christ, and NOT with this wicked world!

That’s especially important, according to Cassiday, since there’s a “persistent public perception that everyone else [but you] is very together.” But the truth of the matter is that, according to various statistics, more than half of the population will meet the criteria for a mental illness at some point in their lifetimes, she said. “So we’ve completely misunderstood what ‘normal’ is.”

But word is finally getting out. Scary Mommy blogger Deborah Cruz shared her own bipolar diagnosis in an essay this week, noting that news of Williams’s suicide is “a punch to the gut because many of us who suffer from this diagnosis know that this is a very real outcome for our lives.” In “It’s Time to Share My Dirty Little Secret,” blogger Tammy Palazzo wrote, “People often think that those of us who suffer from depression are downers who have difficulty functioning in every day life. These are just some of the myths that create stigmas and often prevent people from being honest about their own mental illness. For me, the truth is I function very well and, most often, I am pretty upbeat — typically the life of the party. And no, I am not bipolar. I simply am not depressed every single day. But when I go down, I go down hard. And once I am down, it is very hard to get back up.”

**Proverbs 24:16  For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Fellow comedians have gotten serious in honor of Williams, too. On her Facebook page, Judy Gold wrote, “Two years ago, I did a benefit for a NYC Mental Health Organization at the Comic Strip. When I finished my set, I told the audience that I suffer from clinical depression, and I got one of the biggest applause breaks of my career.” She later posted a photo of her medication sitting atop books including “Darkness Visible,” and noted, “I will never be ashamed. Time to get rid of the stigma and start talking. RIP Robin.” Another comic, Marc Maron, in introducing the repost of his sadly prescient 2010 podcast interview with Williams, noted in a shaky voice,

“Depression is real… I do know what depression is… Having a father that struggles with it, it’s a horrible thing.”

**Yes, rejecting Jesus Christ and his finished works on the cross is NO PEANUTS as well!

Hebrews 10:31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Comedian Sky Williams delivered a powerful personal statement via his YouTube channel, that’s quickly going viral, to try and explain how depression feels. “I know what it feels like, and it’s more than just not being happy. It’s like you can’t bring yourself to be happy,” he said. “You look at the things you once really loved and enjoyed and you just can’t find enjoyment in them anymore. Sometimes you can’t eat, sometimes you can’t sleep, sometimes you can’t even move.” And Louis CK tweeted a reposted Tumblr essay from Rob Delaney, in which he discusses his suicidal depression.

Colossians 3:1  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Col 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

At BuzzFeed, staffers got real by posting their own personal testimonies. One discussed how he tried to run from demons through alcoholism in his twenties, while others shared tales about their depression-related isolation, suicide attempts, medication adjustments and eventual recoveries. “I went through four different therapists and five different medications before I found the combination that worked for me, and when that happened it was not like magic, it wasn’t like a beam of sunlight breaking through the clouds,” wrote Cates Holderness. “It was like trudging up a mountain pass, swamped in mud and ice with an 80-pound weight around my neck. But finally I reached the peak, and started down an easier path.”

On the Huffington Post, several blog posts this week address the issue: In one, the Rev. Jeff Hood, a Baptist pastor, reveals details about his own attempt to kill himself — as does Shealagh Whittle, who survived swallowing a bottle of Tylenol PM more than a decade ago. “I felt like I was slowly being suffocated from the inside,” she wrote, “like all the light around me had been gradually snuffed out until I was left entirely alone. Parenting expert Katie Hurley, in her essay, discusses the emotional fallout of surviving her father’s suicide.

And the list of personal blogs on the topic is only getting longer, with poignant disclosures from people named Elizabeth Hawksworth, Ginny McQueen, Annabel Giles, Sarah Bessey, and, at Slate, Molly Pohlig, who articulated the threat of the Williams news very well. “It is jarring when a beloved celebrity dies of something you could possibly die of yourself—when all of a sudden people are talking about the illness you have,” she writes, “the one that they usually don’t want to talk about at all.”

I hope I'm not trying to beat Robin Williams with a dead horse here - but nonetheless thought his article needed to be exposed here(with scripture) - to sum it up in a nutshell: "depression" did NOT take Williams' life. It was largely b/c he lived his life 100% pleasing, pleasing, and pleasing the world - but even all of the fame, fortune, and a shelf-full of awards didn't prevent him from going down the darkness alley deeper and deeper.

James 5:16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Philippians 3:18  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
Php 3:19  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

John 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Revelarion 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Matthew 27:3  Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Mat 27:4  Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
Mat 27:5  And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

2Corinthians 7:10  For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Look at the agendas they're craftily pushing in this article...

http://healthyliving.msn.com/health-wellness/theres-a-suicide-crisis-in-america
There's a suicide crisis in America

Robin Williams is the latest face of it. The numbers prove it, and we need to do something about it.

8/15/14

Two years ago, suicide became the leading cause of death by injury in America, surpassing car accidents for the first time. And the major reason for that change was a cohort shift: Men and women between the ages of 35 and 64 are increasingly committing suicide. The latest addition to these statistics is Robin Williams.

Since nothing ever happens in America until it happens to a celebrity, perhaps this will be the moment when we notice that we're living in the middle of a suicide crisis, and a suicide crisis that particularly affects middle-aged men.

Four years ago, there were 38,364 suicides compared with 33,687 deaths by car accident. In a sense, those numbers would not be so worrying if their acceleration were not so marked.

The group that has shown the highest increase in suicide rates is middle-aged men and women, for whom the number of suicides has risen by a horrifying 28.4 percent in a mere decade. The sharpest increase has been among men in their fifties, for whom the number has risen nearly 50 percent since 1999. Now nearly 30 per 100,000 American men in their fifties kill themselves. Suicides are increasing across the board, from college students to the elderly, but the increases for the middle-aged are shocking.

The reasons for this rise are unknown. The increased availability of prescription drugs may play some role. Suicide by poisoning was an increasingly common method. There have never been more guns in America and gun ownership also correlates to an increase in suicide. There has also been the brutality of the recession and the new reality of people in middle age taking care of elderly parents while they're also taking care of young children.

**So then why aren't they putting out a poison-control agenda?

Obviously, economic pressures are the most compelling reason. Suicides increase dramatically during recessions. They increased during the Great Depression and during the Asian financial crisis. Across Europe, suicides increased by 3.3 percent after the crash. There have been significant increases in suicides for men across the world, at over 10 percent for the European Union countries. But not a 50 percent jump as for men between 50 and 59 in America.

But the more substantial (and more complicated and disturbing) answer may be cultural. Suicide is not connected to religious values or to traditional family structures. But suicide is one of the most media-sensitive of phenomena.

"The Werther Effect," as it is known in social science, explains how and why people emulate suicides when they read descriptions of them. The phrase derives from the wave of suicides that followed the publication of Goethe's novel The Sorrows of Young Werther in 1774, but the phenomenon remains in effect today. When Austria controlled the publication of the details of subway suicides in newspapers and on television in 1987, for example, the number of suicides and suicide attempts decreased 80 percent in six months.

More prevalent suicide in media, the studies say, does lead to more suicide in real life.

**Yes, alot like how rock music folks like Ozzie Osborne put pro-suicide lyrics in their songs.

The suicides of cultural figures—and God it feels like there have been far too many this year, and the best people, too—are only a symptom. Individuals decide to take their lives for many complex reasons. But more so now than ever, those decisions emerge out of our culture. We live, as has been well-established, in an increasingly lonely, increasingly depressed world.

**Yes, look at our depravity-state culture - now even alot of these modern-day "bible" perversions endorse sex outside of marriage, gender-neutral identity, and sodomy. No wonder why Millenials(for the most part, that is) have a very confused idea over what Christianity really is.

The number of children officially qualifying as "disabled by mental disorders" has increased 35 times between 1987 and 2007. It should come as no surprise that the most common way a life ends violently today is by choice. And that fact has very suddenly emerged only in the past 10 years. Depression is increasing markedly, while the stigma against depression remains in effect. One of them has to give, because in combination they kill tens of thousands.

What does it mean? What do we do about it?

Every now and then, I read a backlash-to-the-backlash-style essay which basically runs like this: The idea that we are living in extraordinary times is wrong. There has always been technological change. There have always been recessions. ...And so on. But for the generational cohort to which Robin Williams belonged, in which suicide has been growing by 28 percent, the growth of suicide is not historically or in any other way the norm. That is the trend—the real trend, the indisputable trend—that we need to figure out most urgently.

**Or get saved, and read your bibles...

1John 1:5  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1Jn 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

http://www.anh-usa.org/tylenol-use-during-pregnancy-may-increase-adhd-risk-for-children/
Tylenol Use During Pregnancy May Increase ADHD Risk for Children
8/12/14

The manufacturer and some doctors are trying to dismiss the new research, despite mounting evidence of Tylenol’s dangers. Action Alert!

A study just published in JAMA Pediatrics finds that Tylenol (acetaminophen) taken by women during their pregnancy may raise the risk of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and similar disorders in their children up to 40%—with the risk increasing the more acetaminophen the mother takes.

Acetaminophen can cross the placental barrier, and the study’s authors say it is plausible that the drug may interrupt fetal brain development by interfering with maternal hormones or through neurotoxicity.

Infections such as influenza in pregnancy are known to affect the brain development of infants—they’re linked to autism, for instance. So the researchers in this study asked women if they were taking acetaminophen to reduce a fever to treat flu symptoms. Even when taking this into account, women who took acetaminophen were more likely to have children later diagnosed with ADHD.

This isn’t the first study to note the connection between a mother’s Tylenol use and her child’s reaction to the toxic drug. A study published late last year showed that women taking acetaminophen during pregnancy increased the risk of their children having serious behavior problems at age 3 by an overwhelming 70%.

Troublingly, some conventional physicians are dismissing the study out of hand, stating that a cause-and-effect relationship hasn’t yet been proven and that further study is required. Dr. Andrew Adesman, chief of developmental and behavioral pediatrics at Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, stated, “From a pediatric perspective, the editorial did not recommend a change in practice, and that seems reasonable. I don’t think we know that anything is safer than acetaminophen.”

Nothing safer than acetaminophen? Every year, 78,000 people go to the emergency room from intentional or accidental acetaminophen overdose; 33,000 are hospitalized, and about 450 die. The problem has gotten so bad that the FDA has asked doctors to stop prescribing any medication that has more than 325 mg of acetaminophen per dose.

The study soundly contradicts Dr. Adesman’s statement about Tylenol’s safety. The researchers put it this way: “We always thought acetaminophen is kind of harmless and not so bad to take during pregnancy, and probably it is, if you take it once or twice. But if you take it repeatedly, you see these risks creeping up. It’s not the greatest news for [pregnant] women. We really don’t have a safe drug, I’m afraid” (italics ours).

Unsurprisingly, the manufacturer is denying any accountability, citing the lack of “randomized controlled studies demonstrating a causal link.” We would note that the lack of causal evidence was cited for the relationship between smoking and cancer as well!

The drug maker’s further statement that Tylenol has “one of the most favorable safety profiles” is ridiculous if one simply looks at the data, as we reported in January. According to the FDA, acetaminophen was the leading cause of acute liver failure in Americans between 1998 and 2003. There is no reason to think this has changed since. Acetaminophen is dangerous because just a small extra amount can create a dangerous overdose: twice the maximum safe dose taken over just several days could cause severe liver damage. Sometimes, according to the former head of the Drug Information Center at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania, “the difference between a safe dose and a dangerous dose is two Extra Strength Tylenol tablets.”

Dr. Joseph A. Mercola has some advice for a toxin-free pregnancy: avoiding any and all unnecessary drugs and vaccinations; buy organic foods to reduce exposure to pesticides and GMOs; avoid items that contain BPA; and use natural cleaning products and toiletries in your home.

As if that weren’t enough to worry about, many doctors favor the injection of powerful steroids into the mother when there is any risk of premature birth. These steroids are supposed to increase a premie’s chances of survival, but the positive effects (mostly on the lungs) last only a few days at most. Very few expectant mothers are told the truth—that the injections must be repeated over and over again until the child is born to have any lasting effect.

If Tylenol affects brain development, imagine what these powerful steroids do. And don’t expect to get much information any about long-term side effects. Some of the developmental consequences might not show up for a decade or more, and who can prove that problems at that stage are linked to the pregnancy?

Rick and Kay Warren to Hose Free Mental Health Conference

Rick and Kay Warren of California’s Saddleback Church will be hosting a free 24-hour mental health conference online today (Oct. 10). The “24 Hours of Hope” event intends to "encourage individuals living with mental illness, educate and support their families, and equip church leaders for compassionate and effective health ministry."

More than thirty experts will explain eating disorders, anxiety, crisis management and holistic care Christian Today reports.

Rick and Kay Warren’s son committed suicide in 2013; his lifetime battle with mental illness prompted the pastors to plan the conference for the public.

"The day he [Matthew] died was the absolute worst day of our lives, and many people have asked us how we got through those darkest days of our despair, our grief and our sorrow, and the answer is Jesus Christ," Rick Warren said.

“It was our faith in him, our family, our church, our small group, our friends. You see, we weren't made to go through the worst times of life on our own, and if you're in pain right now, any kind of emotional or mental pain, you need other people in your life – you need the Church."

Kay Warren said, "We want to create awareness of the struggle that 450 million people around the world experience as they live with a mental illness and dispel the stigma so that they can get the help that they need.”

From what I understand - their son Matthew lived on his own. Yes, a 20-something year old young man, who(supposedly) was suffering from a "mental illness", was LIVING ON HIS OWN!

Pt being that if anyone is living on his own - this proves that he(or she) is independent and able to take care of themselves. You have no idea how many mentally ill homeless people I've seen - as a matter of fact saw one standing in front of a grocery store yesterday just brushing his teeth and talking to himself. But on the contrary, it wasn't like Warren's son was wandering the streets 24/7(otherwise it would have been all over the rag mags prior to his death).

Quote
"The day he [Matthew] died was the absolute worst day of our lives, and many people have asked us how we got through those darkest days of our despair, our grief and our sorrow, and the answer is Jesus Christ," Rick Warren said.

And Warren has said this over, and over, and over again for over a year now(ie-how they went through the worst time of their lives).

I have news for you Rick - I've read stories of parents with autism children - they make MANY sacrifices for their children. They DON'T have a social life(as they're always keeping their lives private from others to be overprotective of their children). They spend hours researching the best foods and vitamins. And most importantly, they NEVER complain, NEVER.

But what did you do, Rick? You just threw your son to many, many psychiatrists(who stuffed him with Big Pharma meds) - while you and your wife flew around the world hanging out with a bunch of reprobates.(and wrote many leavened books)

Quote
“It was our faith in him, our family, our church, our small group, our friends. You see, we weren't made to go through the worst times of life on our own, and if you're in pain right now, any kind of emotional or mental pain, you need other people in your life – you need the Church."

No, NO - the body of Christ is supposed to be studying and sharing scripture together, Rick.

Ephesians 3:16  That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
Eph 3:17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph 3:19  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

And tell that to Apostle Paul...

2Corinthians 11:25  Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
2Co 11:26  In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
2Co 11:27  In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
2Co 11:28  Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Quote
Kay Warren said, "We want to create awareness of the struggle that 450 million people around the world experience as they live with a mental illness and dispel the stigma so that they can get the help that they need.”

You know - even these Hellywood celebs like Paul Newman, Sylvester Stallone, and Carroll O'Conner were quiet, humble, and kept a low profile when their children died tragic deaths. No, I'm not defending them(as they are/were lost people) - but again, just stating the obvious.

With that being said - the Warrens should have done something when their son was still alive. Where were they months before he was in dire desperation?

Warren has NO excuse, NONE!

http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/story/24535717/mom-says-dearborn-hts-school-banned-her-sons-bible-sent-home-inappropriate-worksheets
Mom angered school banned her son's Bible, used inappropriate worksheets
1/23/14

(WJBK) - Jessica Cross of Dearborn Heights is frustrated with her children's school after her 8-year-old autistic son was told not to bring his Bible to class anymore, and then her 6-year-old daughter's worksheet referenced alcohol. Her children attend Highview Elementary.

She says her son, Jason, would take his Bible to school as his book of choice to read during free time. He was eventually told that book is "only for church, not school."

Cross says this was just the beginning of her frustration with this school. She says, for months, she's been disgusted with the way her special needs son has been treated.

"Putting my son in time outs for 13 hours a week and refusing him lunch, and just absurd things and just, if I did something like that I'd lose my kids!" says Cross. She has kept classroom logs and says she's gotten nowhere with the school officials since October.

"We've done meetings. We've met together, and whenever we all get in the same room together, then they just lie," she says.

But what her daughter, Jaclyn, asked her Wednesday while she was cooking dinner was the last straw for this mother.

She says her daughter asks, "'Mommy, why would a daddy drinking wine make a mommy happy?' And I dropped my spoon, I was like, 'What?'"

Her daughter's worksheet read, "My dad drinks wine. He puts a lime in his wine. It makes my mom smile."

When she voiced her concerns to the superintendent, she says the response was: "What would you like me to do about it? What can I do about it?"

VIDEO: Click on the video player above to watch the report from FOX 2's Erika Erickson

FOX 2 spoke with the superintendent of Crestwood schools, Dr. Laurine VanValkenburg. She says she understands Cross's frustration and says, "If a child wants to bring a bible to school, they may."

As for that worksheet VanValkenburg apologized, adding that she has been unable to address the situation as she has been out of town. She says she will make sure both incidents are looked into when she returns.

For FSU shooter, strong start followed by mental unraveling
11/20/14
http://www.tampabay.com/news/education/college/officials-man-accused-of-shooting-three-students-at-fsu-library-attended/2207287

WEWAHITCHKA — There was a knock on the door of the home in this tiny town not 75 miles from Tallahassee, and at the doorstep stood the man who, in a few weeks time, would open fire on students in the library at Florida State University.

Myron May, a 31-year-old alumnus, had returned to the state that had raised him.

He had driven to Wewahitchka from New Mexico, where things had not been going so well. He told Abigail Taunton, a long-time family friend whose boys he had run cross-country with, that he was considering declaring bankruptcy.

Taunton listened as May leveled an even more alarming confession: He was afraid, he told the woman, that someone was trying to kill him. Back in New Mexico, he had opened his door to see a man across the street pointing a gun at him.

What May did not say, and perhaps did not know himself — just weeks before he was shot by Tallahassee police after refusing to stop his own attack — was that this New Mexican hit-man was only a small piece of his mental unraveling.

For at least three months, documents obtained by the Tampa Bay Times show, the man who shot and wounded three people at Florida State University suffered delusions consistent with a significant mental illness.

Atlanta TV station WSB reported late Thursday that eight people who knew May have been told to expect packages from him in the mail on Friday. Police have told the eight to notify them as soon as the packages arrive, the report said.

On Thursday, Tallahassee police Chief Michael DeLeo said that May had a written journal and videos where he details fears of "being targeted."

"Preliminary review of these documents and videos demonstrate that Mr. May was in a state of crisis," the chief said.

On Sept. 7, May called police in Las Cruces, N.M., to complain that someone had installed a camera in his apartment, according to documents released to the Times. He told police he could hear voices coming through the walls, and the voices were talking about him. One evening, for instance, he heard the voices commenting on his actions as he applied lotion after a bubble bath.

A month later, on Oct. 6, May suddenly resigned his position as an assistant district attorney in New Mexico. The next night, his ex-girlfriend called Las Cruces police to her house, explaining that May was showing symptoms of a "severe mental disorder" that he had been hospitalized for several weeks prior.

May had stopped sleeping, sometimes for four or five nights in a row, and recently had taken an abrupt trip from New Mexico to Colorado, without saying why, Danielle Nixon told police. In addition to spending time at Mesilla Valley Hospital, she said, May was taking prescription drugs.

The night she called the police, Nixon said, May had shown up at her home rambling and gripping what looked like part of his car. She said he told her it was a camera and asked her to keep it for him. Police knocked on May's door for a welfare check, but records indicate they may have gone to the wrong apartment.

He was not there. And then, he was back in Florida.

But when May showed up to that tiny town outside Tallahassee, all he told Taunton was that he feared for his life and had been unhappy with work. Taunton, 60, told May that he could stay in her guest house, a wooden building with a slanting green roof, while he looked for a place to live and studied to take the Florida bar exam in February.

"He seemed to be depressed," Taunton says now at the children's home she runs. "Not happy, not smiling like we all remembered him doing so well."

He was smiling on Aug. 18, 2001, his first day at Florida State, and that was because he loved and has always "loved the place," freshman year roommate Osei Boakye says.

They liked to argue about songs by the rapper Nas and drive from DeGraff Hall to Taco Bell. There, they'd sit in the car in the parking lot and eat boxes of 25-cent tacos and they'd free-style rap which, Boakye says, was pretty funny. They were so bad at it.

May was whip-smart and focused on his studies, eventually graduating cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics. He drank rarely, and when he did, he never drank to get drunk. As for drugs, he told Abigail Taunton's husband, David, he only dabbled with marijuana.

Boakye introduced May and Anton Gammons, who remembers him as a "meek, humble guy" who was into church and liked to recite Bible verses.

"I know everyone says this," Gammons said, "but if you put 100 guys in a room and said one of them would be a shooter like this, Myron would be the last guy you would think it could be."

Everyone says this, and that includes Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fort Walton Beach, who worked with May in student government while they were both at Florida State.

Gaetz was president of the campus's Insight political party, which focused on community outreach programs. May, a member of the Student Senate, got involved in the party's community service committee. Gaetz remembers May wore a jersey with the nickname "Sensitive Joe" across the back.

"He was such a caring individual," Gaetz said. And what everyone says: "Of all the people I knew at Florida State, he would be at the bottom of my list of someone who would be aggressive in any way."

May could be paranoid, Boakye says, which feels like so much in hindsight. But in college, Boakye didn't think much of his friend's suspicions; nine times out of 10, May was right.

Like the time May kept saying — no, insisting — he was going to be fired from his campus job. This seemed silly to all of his friends. But May said his boss was looking at him funny. After he quit, he told Boakye that he had been right: His boss said he was planning to let May go.

After graduating from Florida State in 2005, May went on to law school at Texas Tech. He spoke so highly of his undergraduate days that, in 2008, he helped reactivate the college's chapter of Phi Beta Sigma, an African-American fraternity May had belonged to during his days in Tallahassee.

Asher Glasgow, pursuing his master's degree in education, was also a Phi Beta Sigma who brought the chapter back. The two men "clicked automatically," and although they spent most of their time studying, they'd go get a beer or catch a football game.

There in Lubbock, Glasgow got his heart broken. "It's going to be fine," his friend and fraternity brother would tell him. "There are other women out there." And, "Don't get to that boiling point."

Glasgow appreciated his support, so they kept in touch after law school. May did well, earning six figures at a Houston law firm. But while the pay was good, the work didn't satisfy him. "He wanted to help the community," says Boakye, who was also regularly in touch.

To that end, May moved to New Mexico. He worked as a prosecutor in the felony division of the third judicial district attorney's office in Las Cruces between January and October, following a stint with the public defender's office in the area.

Speaking to reporters Thursday, District Attorney Mark D'Antonio described May as likable and dedicated. "Everybody will tell you that he was efficient, very well-intentioned during his work, worked hard, and honestly was a very good public defender and a very good assistant district attorney," he said.

As a junior-level prosecutor in the office, May handled felony drunken driving cases, assaults and burglaries, D'Anotonio said, noting that May showed no signs of mental illness during his time as a prosecutor.

D'Anotonio said the last time he saw him was Oct. 2. He put his arm around May. "How are things going?" he asked.

May told him that everything was great.

When D'Antonio came to work the following Monday, he found a brief resignation letter from May on his desk.

"My office and my staff are in deep shock," D'Antonio said. "We're all quite put aside by this. We don't understand the nature of it. I don't understand all the facts. But it's extremely shocking to us all."

Boakye says he spoke to May last week. He seemed fine. They had planned to come back to FSU for homecoming this year, along with other college friends, but the plans had fallen through.

May's best friend from college hadn't been rattled to learn May had quit his job and moved back to Florida. May had wanted to start his own firm, and this seemed like a logical step, Boakye said.

Gammons says May had also discussed starting his own practice with him. They had been sharing advice about "hanging their shingles" over Facebook.

Abigail Taunton, the woman who let May stay in her family's guest house, said May spent his days studying for the bar using a computer prep course.

They let him stay at the cottage for free, knowing that he was in financial trouble. He told David Taunton that he a house payment close to $2,000 a month, though a tenant paid most of it. He also had a monthly payment for his car. They agreed to pay him $500 a month to help David research mineral rights.

The Tauntons knew he had left a lucrative job in Houston to make much less but do more meaningful work. They had known the man since he was 13, when he moved to the town with his grandmother, poor but religious. He spent so much time in their home.

Recently, the family went on a camping trip. May asked to come. He had never gone camping, he told the Tauntons' son, Josh.

So they took him, and Josh taught him how to shoot a 410 shotgun, a small model, good for hunting squirrels. "He asked me if he was making me nervous," Josh said, "because he wasn't very skilled with the gun, walking behind me, you know, that kind of stuff. That's when he said he had had a gun back when he was in New Mexico."

May told Josh that he had bought a pistol, and that he'd hit the range a little bit in New Mexico. There wasn't much more to it. The camping trip came to a close.

Then this past Friday came, and May went to have dinner with this grandma. He seemed happy, said his uncle, Wallace Freeman. He didn't talk about business. He spoke about the Bible, and he prayed. He said he and Wallace were going to cook his grandmother a nice Thanksgiving dinner.

Freeman said his nephew stayed the night. Then he went to stay with a pastor and her husband in Tallahassee. But May had never told Abigail and David Taunton that he wasn't coming back after dinner. A few days later, Abigail texted him. He wrote her back.

May said he was sorry that he hadn't told her where he was going. He told her he was having "spiritual warfare." And finally, he told her that he was all right.

The people who knew Myron May — when he was 13, when he was in college, when he was employed and when he was not — all say they understand now that their friend had a mental illness. Some of them, like Boakye, wonder if they should blame themselves. Others, like the Tauntons, say there was no way to know that such a frightful thing was coming.

But what is hardest to reconcile, they all say, is not the who of it, Myron May, or even the what, the horrible shooting.

It is the where.

Myron May had a Florida State frame on his license plate. He loved planning trips back there. And what is perhaps most disquieting of all, these people say, is that this man spent so much of his four years in Strozier Library.

He lived there.

They can not understand why — not now, they say, not ever, not even in the grips of mental illness — that he would let himself die there, like this.

That he would try to take lives there.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see from this article - the United Nations' "mental health" and gun control agendas are craftily being pushed.

10,000 American Toddlers now Taking Amphetamine Based ADHD Drugs
9/16/14

You never thought you would find yourself living in a society where 2 or 3 year-olds were legally high on amphetamines every day, did you?

In a far beyond sick release of information, it has been revealed that toddlers can be prescribed amphetamines including, Ritalin, Adderall, and ‘ADHD medications’ legally. There is no rule against it, and apparently some people do not have the moral depth to understand the consequences of giving amphetamines to a mind in a stage of development that early.

About 10,000 toddlers are now known to be on amphetamines/Ritalin/other ADHD drugs. It’s almost unbelievable, I know.

The American Academy of Pediatrics doesn’t even have guidelines for amphetamine prescription for children below 4 years old. However, it can be expected that at such a young age, children will quickly develop a dependence on these drugs, setting the state for addiction to other amphetamines later in life including methamphetamine.

That is exactly what happens to a lot of people who use amphetamines, methamphetamine. Just imagine how badly a human being would be messed up if they did amphetamines starting at age 2.

A recent survey found that 7.5% of children ages 6-17 are currently on prescription medications for some type of mental illness, ADHD medications make up 80% of them.

This has to stop. It seems in American society today, the gap between the consciousness levels of people is getting wider. In other words, it seems a certain part of our population is getting more and more aware, intelligent, conscious, and deliberate of their actions. At the same time, another part of our population is getting more and more complicit, thinking through their actions less and less.

This epidemic of children on medications is showing the true birth-to-pharmaceutical pipeline that is being formed through pediatricians, schools and ‘Big Pharma’.

We cannot allow our society to feed toddlers amphetamines. That crosses a moral threshold so defined, so offensive, so gross, it simply must be stopped.

Please share this with absolutely as many people as possible, and in the future we can pursue further efforts to make sure this never, ever happens again. This is a million miles beyond sick to those who understand the effects of these drugs.

Average Drug Label Lists Over Whopping 70 Side Effects
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/06/09/average-drug-label-lists-over-whopping-70-side-effects.aspx
6/9/2011

Using a computer program, scientists analyzed 5,600 drug labels and more than 500,000 labeled effects. They found that the average drug comes with a list of 70 potential reactions, according to researchers.

In fact, the more commonly prescribed drugs averaged around 100 side effects each, with some drugs containing as many as 525 listed reactions.

MSNBC reports:

“The greatest number of side effects was found in antidepressants, antiviral medications and newer treatments for restless leg syndrome and Parkinson's disease. In general, medications typically used by psychiatrists and neurologists had the most complex labels, while drugs used by dermatologists and ophthalmologists had the least.”

Dr. Mercola's Comments:

On average, if you take one prescription drug you'll be exposed to 70 potential side effects. If you take one of the more commonly prescribed drugs, the potential drug reactions rise to about 100 -- and some drugs even carry over 500! Amazingly, despite this finding researchers told MSNBC that "having a high number of side effects on a drug's label should not suggest that the drug is unsafe"!

What should it suggest, then, is what I would like to know.

Because if a food or a supplement could cause 70 to over 500 side effects, you can bet you'd be hearing about its grave dangers from every media outlet. Instead, the researchers have downplayed the drug dangers, stating that the side effects lists are more about "protecting manufacturers from potential lawsuits" than they are about measuring true toxicity.

But you can rest assured that a drug manufacturer will only list the side effects they absolutely have to … no more. So the fact that the average drug is disclosing 70 side effects is an indicator of just how many risks there really are.

Prescription Drugs Even Deadlier Than Illegal Drugs

You might not realize that more than 700,000 people visit U.S. emergency rooms each year as a result of adverse drug reactions. And, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), adverse drug reactions from drugs that are properly prescribed and properly administered cause about 106,000 deaths per year, making prescription drugs the fourth-leading cause of death in the United States.

Compare this to the death toll from illegal drugs -- which is about 10,000 per year -- and you begin to see the magnitude of the problem that the pharmaceutical industry is propagating
. Even more shocking, three years ago an analysis of federal data by the nonprofit Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) found that in the first quarter of 2008, fatalities from adverse drug reactions accounted for 23 percent of all adverse reaction reports!

Naturally, some drugs are far riskier than others. But often a drug doesn't earn a reputation for being "riskier" until the fatalities have already begun to stack up. Further, even the "average" medication causes potential side effects, which is a steep risk by any measure.

Just how many risks should be deemed acceptable by public health agencies and consumers?

According to study researcher Dr. Jon Duke, assistant professor of medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine, on MSNBC:

" … having all these labeled side effects can overwhelm doctors who must weigh the risks and benefits when prescribing a medication … The Food and Drug Administration has taken steps to discourage such 'overwarning,' but at present, information overload is the rule rather than the exception."

So the FDA has tried to discourage drug manufacturers from "overwarning" doctors and patients about the risks

An important issue that is rarely focused on when examining drug side effects is what happens to those who are taking more than one medication? The potential ramifications are mind-boggling, with side effects numbering in the thousands … too many to ever really pinpoint back to a particular pill.

Polypharmacy Raises Drug Side Effects Exponentially

According to the latest statistics from the Kaiser Health Foundation, the average American aged 19 to 64 now takes more than 11 prescription drugs! The word 'polypharmacy' means "many drugs," and essentially refers to these instances where an individual is taking multiple drugs -- often because more drugs are prescribed than are clinically indicated.

This situation used to be primarily a concern for the elderly, who generally take more medicines than younger folks -- in the United States, the average senior fills more than 31 prescriptions per year. But over the past several years, even children as young as 3 are increasingly being prescribed four or more drugs!

This is a significant problem, as the more drugs you mix together, the greater the chances of serious side effects. And if the average American is taking 11 prescription drugs, and the average prescription drug carries 70 side effects … do the math!

That's an average of 770 potential individual side effects but the drug to drug interaction is far higher and is likely one to two orders of magnitude greater. To me, this is simply unacceptable, especially considering that most drugs people take are for conditions that can be better treated, and prevented, using natural methods.

You Can Take Control of Your Health

There's a reason why I titled one of my foundational books "Take Control of Your Health" and that is because by doing so you can avoid falling prey to drug side effects. You can avoid taking most drugs in the first place, and you'll be that much healthier because of it. Currently you carry the greatest burden when it comes to changing the drug paradigm. I don't think we'll see doctors changing their prescribing ways anytime soon -- it's what they're trained to do. In most cases, it's ALL they do! So as a patient, you have to take responsibility for your health, and question the drugs prescribed to you.

Do you really need that drug?
Is it prescribed appropriately, or is it being prescribed for an off-label use?
What are the side effects?
Is it addictive?
What are the natural alternatives?
Did I do a careful search to check for side effects or natural alternatives?

Ultimately, it's your body, and the decision to medicate yourself for an ailment is yours alone. However, I urge you to research any drug your doctor prescribes before you take it. Do not just take your doctor's word for its safety. Most physicians have little information to offer you aside from what they've been told by their drug reps.

Remember that no drug is completely safe.

Even under the BEST circumstances -- such as with a drug that has gone through unbiased, stringent, long-term testing -- anything can happen when a drug is released into the uncontrolled environment of your body. It may interact badly with another drug you're taking, or perhaps a food you eat causes an unforeseen reaction, or maybe your genetic makeup, metabolism or the state of your immune system will cause it to have an unpredictable impact.

So I hope that you will view drugs as a last resort instead of a first choice, and will instead embrace the massive shift in thinking to realize that your body can heal itself if you give it the proper "tools."

It is possible to maintain optimal health by simply avoiding unnecessary drugs and understanding the fundamentals of good nutrition and exercise. If you start with just the five steps listed below, you will be embarking on a journey to outstanding health and drug-free wellness:

Eliminate fructose and most grains
Eat unprocessed, high-quality foods, organic if possible, right for your nutritional type
Eat your food as close to raw as possible
Consume enough animal-based omega-3 fats
Exercise regularly

About time! Smiley

Federal Court Stands Up For Gun Rights For People Who Have Been ‘Committed To a Mental Institution’

A panel of three Republican members of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit held that a man who was previously “committed to a mental institution,” might nonetheless be allowed to have a gun, despite a federal ban on firearm possession by such individuals.

The decision, which was handed down on Thursday, concerns a man named Clifford Charles Tyler who was involuntarily committed to a mental institution in 1986 after he went through an “emotionally devastating divorce.” At the time, a mental health evaluation of Tyler found that he was “crying non-stop, not sleeping, depressed, and suicidal.” The commitment occurred after Tyler’s daughters “became scared and contacted the police,” and a state court later found that Tyler could be “reasonably expected within the near future to intentionally or unintentionally seriously physically injure [himself] or others, and has engaged in an act or acts or made significant threats that are substantially supportive of the expectation.” Following his commitment, however, Tyler rejoined the workforce and remarried, and he has not experienced another “depressive episode.”

According to the court’s opinion by Judge Danny Boggs, Congress authorized a process permitting people like Tyler who are legally prohibited from owning guns to “appl[y] to the Attorney General for relief from the disabilities imposed by Federal laws.” This program, however, is not funded. Instead, Congress authorized grants to states allowing them to set up their own programs for screening people who may have their gun rights restored. Tyler’s home state of Michigan, however, has not set up such a program.

Uhm...what does scripture say?

John 3:35  The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Joh 3:36  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Did anyone listen to bro Bryan's 2 part study on exposing psychiatry?

So psychiatrists are 2-3 X's more likely to commit suicide than the general population? Color me surprised - seriously.

Look at the showbiz industry and the number of suicides/tragic deaths that happen - pt being that it seems like when there's professions with alot of money-making involved, ultimately you have to pay up the piper over the long run. Psychiatrists are pretty wealthy individuals as well.

Matthew 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke 16:9  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

Notice in the Matthew verse - you HATE the one, but LOVE the other. Jesus Christ says HATE(NOT some mere word like "dislike" or "indifferent to").

Notice in the Luke verse - Jesus Christ says WHEN, NOT if. Yeah, WHEN ye fail(b/c ye make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness).

Ultimately, there ARE consequences for being money-hungry.

This was from a wildly popular 1993 movie, "The Fugitive" - this is another example of Hellywood telegraphing their punches - the main character in this movie(Harrison Ford) was accused of murdering his wife. Then after he escapes from prison, he slowly finds out that a big pharmaceutical company may have falsified his research, so they can put this scam drug on the market.

Yes, it's alot like what we're seeing pharmaceutical companies doing today.

Maker Of Children's Tylenol Contaminated With Metal Particles Pleads Guilty
3/11/15
https://www.yahoo.com/health/maker-of-childrens-tylenol-contaminated-with-113346156332.html

A subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson pleaded guilty Tuesday to a federal criminal charge that it sold over-the-counter infant’s and children’s liquid medicine containing metal particles.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, acknowledged failing to take corrective action after discovering the adulterated bottles of Infants’ and Children’s Tylenol and Children’s Motrin. The company agreed to pay $25 million to resolve the case.

Metal particles, including nickel, iron and chromium, were introduced during the manufacturing process at McNeil’s plant in Fort Washington. Prosecutors said McNeil knew about the problem for nearly a year but failed to take immediate steps to fix it.

The company and prosecutors said in court Tuesday that no one was injured.

"McNeil’s failure to comply with current good manufacturing practices is seriously troubling," Acting Assistant Attorney General Mizer said in a statement after the judge accepted McNeil’s plea.

"The Department of Justice will continue to be aggressive in pursuing and punishing companies such as McNeil that disregard a process designed to assure quality medicines, especially OTC drugs for infants and children," he said.

McNeil is a unit of Johnson & Johnson. The New Brunswick, New Jersey, health care giant has struggled with scores of product recalls since 2009. In late 2009, the company recalled Tylenol, Motrin, and Benadryl after consumers reported a moldy odor coming from newly opened bottles and complaints of stomach pains and diarrhea were filed.

In this case, McNeil first learned of the particle problem in May 2009, when a consumer complained about black specks inside a bottle of Infants’ Tylenol, according to court documents. McNeil subsequently found metal particles during production but continued making the liquid medicines for several more months.

"There were investigative steps taken, but not all of the steps required under all of our internal operating procedures," company attorney Michael Schwartz told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

McNeill eventually traced the problem to the machinery at its plant in Fort Washington and issued a recall. The Food and Drug Administration said the potential for serious medical problems was remote but advised consumers to stop using the medicine.

The suburban Philadelphia plant — which was linked to several recalls of Tylenol and other nonprescription drugs for children and adults — was shuttered in April 2010 and rebuilt from the ground up, but it has yet to reopen.

The company is operating under an agreement with the FDA requiring increased inspections and oversight at its factories.

McNeil said Tuesday it has significantly improved its procedures.

"McNeil has been implementing enhanced quality and oversight standards across its entire business to ensure we are best able to meet our commitment to consumers, patients and doctors who rely on our products," company spokeswoman Carol Goodrich said.

Tulane’s mental health meltdown
After a spate of campus suicides, students are demanding more psychological services. But how much responsibility does the college bear?

4/3/15

Late last November, as Tulane’s campus was winding down for Thanksgiving break, University President Michael Fitts sat on an airplane, reading through a sheaf of documents. In his hectic first year on the job, Fitts was crisscrossing the country, introducing himself to donors and alumni associations. But in this quiet moment midair, the former law professor finally had time to focus on his students.

What he read deeply moved him, but also left him worried. Fitts was only a few months into his new job, and five of his students were dead, three of them by suicide. Here in front of him was a 28-page compendium of students’ firsthand accounts of their experiences with his school’s mental health system. It was jarring and disturbing.

The stories depicted a campus in a full-blown mental health crisis. Students struggling with anxiety, crippling depression and other serious mental illnesses said they weren’t receiving the help they needed from the overloaded campus counseling center, which has a hard cap on how many times a student can see a therapist. Students wrote about falling into a hole of despair, wanting to die, and feeling as if no one at Tulane wanted to help.

Some of them directly criticized Fitts, saying he didn’t seem to care enough about what was obviously a dire situation. “I have never seen you on campus or heard about you meeting and getting to know our students,” one wrote. Another said Tulane felt like a “very expensive deathtrap” — a pressure-cooker of an academic and social environment with limited mental health support.

The new president says he had not realized that so many Tulane students were in so much pain. And he only learned about it because a Tulane senior named Shefali Arora took it upon herself to solicit stories from her peers on social media and methodically gather them into a public Google document to chronicle the campus’s mental health crisis.

Arora took this step in response to the latest student suicide, which had shaken the campus just a few days earlier. Mary Travis, a popular and artistic sophomore from Texas, committed suicide in her dorm on Nov. 22, shocking her friends and sorority sisters, some of whom had gone out with her just the night before. In September, Daniel Rupert, another sophomore, killed himself in his dorm room, devastating members of his fraternity and other groups of friends. A public health graduate student took her life off campus in October. (Two students died as a result of accidents over the same period, adding to the grief. Benjamin Burlock, another sophomore, accidentally fell in a dormitory to his death. And Andy Joseph, a junior, died on campus in an accident caused by an epileptic seizure.)

“The comments were very helpful for me in getting the sense of the pain out there and also what were the issues in the uppermost in people’s mind,” Fitts recalled.

He tapped out a reply to Arora on his iPhone, apologizing for his “grueling” travel schedule, which prevented him from interacting with students as much as he would have liked to. “We are definitely talking about ways we can support all members of Tulane who may be at risk,” he wrote. “On a separate note, I also am vowing to try to be more visible and available on campus, including eating at Bruff [Commons Dining Hall] more often.”

Since then, Tulane has rolled out some small changes to its mental health services to address student criticisms, and finally held a public memorial, called “Tulane Cares,” outside the student center for the five who died. But the changes fall short of what many students wanted, and are unlikely to meet the staggering need for mental health services on campus.

Tulane provides a snapshot of how universities across the country are struggling to face up to their students’ overwhelming mental health issues. It’s Tulane’s turn now to search for answers, to announce some reforms to its counseling center, to vow to “destigmatize” mental health issues on campus. But tomorrow, it’ll be another university. No college is immune. The problem is growing, and it’s universal. Universities are welcoming a generation of students who are more anxious than ever, and who appear to be cracking under the weight of the growing pressure to get into a good college and then to pay for it. Society burdens kids with this pressure, and then sends them off to college to deal with it. At the heart of the wrenching debate is a touchy question: How much responsibility do colleges really bear for the psychological well-being of their students?

More and more students are showing up to college already struggling with one or more mental illnesses. Today’s college freshmen are significantly more likely to report that they are struggling with depression than even their predecessors of just five years ago, and college counseling centers are bending and nearly snapping under the pressure of serving kids with serious mental health issues. Nearly 95 percent of college counseling directors said their campuses have a greater number of students with “severe psychological issues” than ever before, according to a 2014 survey. Thousands of students were hospitalized for psychiatric conditions by counseling centers that same year.

it's not that these young men and women need to go to college and learn their it is that they need the Lord Jesus Christ!! (desperately) it just shows what happens when people throw out God and His word from their lives, Satan has power to destroy people

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalms 22:19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

Psalms 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Psalms 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

Psalms 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Proverbs 10:29 The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

A Christian can live with joy, peace and hope even in hard circumstances oh that these students and teachers would know the Lord Jesus!!

it's not that these young men and women need to go to college and learn their it is that they need the Lord Jesus Christ!!

And keep you from evil!

I've been through the whole psychiatry nonsense a long time ago - I was told how I needed to go out and "socialize" with others, have a girlfriend, etc, etc.

Seriously - my LORD, my rock, my fortress, my salvation, my BIBLE says OTHERWISE - I don't mind being alone at all, to be honest...you hang out with the world, you will get defiled with it. You fellowship with our LORD and his saints, you will get wisdom liberally, and eternal life.

Romans 6:13  Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14  For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

BIG LIST OF DRUG-INDUCED KILLERS
Charleston church shooter may be just the latest

6/20/15

As WND has reported, Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof was a known drug user who was caught with the powerful mind-altering narcotic Suboxone when apprehended by police during an incident on Feb. 28.

Suboxone is used to treat addiction to opioid drugs such as heroin. It’s adverse effects include anxiety, irritability, depersonalization, confusion, suicidal thoughts and irrational, sometimes violent behavior.

Other drugs linked to mass killers have more often been geared toward treating mental illness. According to a data set of U.S. mass shootings from 1982-2012 prepared by Mother Jones magazine, of 62 mass shootings carried out by 64 shooters, the majority of the shooters (41) were noted to have signs of possible mental illness — the precise kinds of mental illnesses that psychotropic medications are prescribed for.

It is a well-documented fact that in the 1980s, a shift occurred in the direction of treating the mentally ill. Rather than institutionalize them, the preferred method was to “mainstream” them, encouraging them to function in society while being treated with a mind-numbing array of new anti-depressants being developed by the pharmaceutical industry.
