ODNR RULES YOUNGSTOWN OHIO EARTHQUAKES CAUSED BY BRINE INJECTION WELL MARCH

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTcTa1N139A&feature=share

Quote
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources investigation has ruled that the 12 Earthquakes spanning from 2011-2012 in the Youngstown area were caused by the brine injection well on Ohio Works Drive. A combination of the injection fluid disturbing a previous unknown ancient faultline in the precambrian rockbed. The investgation came only when a massive 4.0 or higher Earthquake hit the Yongstown McDonald area at around 3:00pm EST on New Year's Eve Day 2011. Hundreds of residents reported hearing an extremely loud "Bang" or explosion sound just prior to the Earthquake New Years Eve. Similar reports of a loud "bang" were also heard recently in Hawaii just prior to their Earthquakes a just over a week ago.

Although the brine injection well on Ohio Works Drive is shut down, the damage has been done from the year of hydrolic injection of thousands of gallons of brine waste water trucked in from Pennsylvania into the previoulsy unknown fault line.

The report's findings, the Ohio regulator said, show the earthquakes were based on "a number of coincidental circumstances," not just a direct link to the brine disposal. For one, investigators said, the well began operations just three months ahead of the first quake.

really? thats the evidence? Gues that is also what caused all the earlier earth quakes in the region before 1950. I live here in NE Ohio people. We have earthquakes.

March 10, 2012 – ALASKA – A 5.6 magnitude earthquake was reported just off the coastline of the Alaskan peninsula at 5:10 am. The earthquake registered at a depth of 17.7 km or 11.0 miles below the surface and struck the ocean floor. The epicenter of the earthquake was 819 km (508 miles) SW of Anchorage, Alaska and 1455 km (904 miles) W of JUNEAU, Alaska. Both seismicity and volcanic activity has been steadily increasing along the Alaskan region over the last several weeks. People in high-risk areas should stay alert for the potential occurrence of seismic episodes. –The Extinction Protocol

http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2012/03/12/moderate-twin-earthquakes-shake-kashmir-valley/

March 12, 2012 – KASHMIR - Two earthquakes of moderate intensity shook Kashmir Valley within three hours today but there were no reports of any casualty or damage. “An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale rocked Northwest Kashmir at 1136 hrs,” an official of the Disaster Management Cell said. He said the epicenter of the quake was in Gilgit area in Pakistan. Another tremor measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale was experienced at 0156 hrs, the official said. The two quakes caused panic but there were no reports of any casualty or damage to property, he said. Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and areas of Kashmir valley along the Line of Control, located in highly active Siesmic Zone V, were devastated by a 7.6-magnitude temblor in October 2005. The monster quake killed over 75,000 people in PoK and 1300 in the Valley. –The Economic Times
Forecasters warned in December of 2011 that the region might be overdue for a mega-earthquake which could leave much of the scenic valley in ruins.

http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2012/03/23/expert-says-minor-earthquakes-have-become-frequent-in-armenia/

March 23, 2012 – ARMENIA – The number of earthquakes has recently increased in Armenia and the region. The National Seismic Protection Service (NSPS) of Armenia on Wednesday registered a magnitude-3 tremor, whose epicenter was 13 kilometers southeast of Martuni city. Thirteen earthquakes measuring 3 magnitude or higher have occurred in the region. In an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am Ashkhen Tovmasyan, representative of the National Seismic Protection Service, said According to her, seismic risks are growing with urban development and with population growth. Risk increases in Armenia when new buildings are built and population grows, if there was no urban development there would be no risks. As Ashkhen Tovmasyan mentioned, currently there are no serious anomaly indicating earthquakes, so there is no need to worry about any earthquake. There are often all the indicators of an earthquake but no quake happens. The expert advised to build buildings in safe places and avoid blocking the main entrances. –News.am

Posted on March 25, 2012 by The Extinction Protocol
March 25, 2012 – HONOLULU – Many people from the Big Island to Oahu felt a magnitude 4.9 earthquake Saturday morning. The quake struck a little after 10:45 a.m., centered just west of Honomu in East Hawaii, at a depth of 27 miles. There are no reports of major damage or injuries. Scientists say the earthquake was too small to generate a tsunami and the weight of the Big Island settling is the likely cause. Geologists at the Hawaiian Volcanoes Observatory say there have been no aftershocks so far, and there’s been no change in the ongoing eruption at Kilauea Volcano. -KITV

The islands rumble a fairly good bit as a norm, especially the Big Island. But then there is an active volcano there!

March 25, 2012 – CHILE – A magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit central Chile on Sunday, 64 miles (103 kim) west north west of the town of Talca, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake was at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km). Magnitude 7.0 earthquakes or greater are capable of causing widespread and heavy damage. The epicenter of the earthquake was 219 km (136 miles) from Santiago, Chile- near the vicinity of a moderate 5.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the region on yesterday. Seismic tension has been mounting over some of the world’s most dangerous subduction regions in recent weeks and stress eruptions may not be over yet. This is the second 7.0 + magnitude earthquake to strike the world in 5 days, provided the USGS doesn’t downgraded the earthquake. On March 20, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck the western coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. Chile in on the front-line of the Nazca plate, one of the most dangerous subductive plate boundaries in the world. A 9.5, the strongest earthquake ever recorded in modern history, devastated Chile in 1960. –The Extinction Protocol

San Diego residents rattled by 3 loud booms, following tremor

March 30, 2012 – SAN DIEGO, CA – The USGS confirmed a small earthquake struck San Diego County Thursday night. The quake struck with a magnitude of 3.3 and at a depth of 7 miles at 11:09 p.m. The epicenter of the earthquake was four miles south-southeast of the Palomar Observatory, 17 miles northeast of Escondido and 39 miles north-northeast of San Diego, according to a computer-generated USGS report. News stations in the area said they received over a dozen calls from concerned viewers who described the earthquake as very loud and said it was accompanied by three eerie booms. There were also reports of violent shaking. No injuries or damage was reported the tremor. No one in our generation remembers so many small tremors across the world triggering so many sonic booms. One has to wonder what is happening in the earth beneath our feet. –The Extinction Protocol

Well, one thing about earthquake study is that they have had monitors all over the place for decades now to measure the strength and number of quakes, so the numbers should be very easy to tell if there really has been an increase of any sort over a period of time.

I was not aware a quake can make these sounds they claim. Haven't heard that said before till recently.

April 1, 2012 – NEW ZEALAND – Three earthquakes, the largest measuring magnitude-4.8, have been recorded near volcanic White Island within half-an-hour each other. GNS Science reported a 4.8 quake at 4.08 pm, 110 km north of White Island, which sits off New Zealand in Bay of Plenty.  A second quake, measuring 4.7 struck at 4.24 pm, followed by a 4.1 quake at 4.30 pm. All three quakes were shallow, with the focal depth of each quake being measured at between 3 km to 6 km. The first two tremors were reportedly felt in Coromandel. White Island, New Zealand’s largest volcano last erupted in 2000. GNS Science could not immediately be reached for comment on whether the earthquakes might affect volcanic activity on the island. –Stuff.NZ

http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/the-april-11-2012-event-cluster-of-large-earthquakes-rattle-the-globe-from-indonesia-to-mexico/

The April 11, 2012 Event: cluster of large earthquakes rattle the globe from Indonesia to Mexico

April 12, 2012 – WORLD – A strong earthquake hit Mexico on Wednesday, shaking buildings and sending people running out of offices onto the streets of the capital Mexico City. The U.S. Geological Survey said the 6.5 -magnitude quake was centered on Mexico’s Pacific coast near Michoacan and struck fairly deep under the earth at 65 km or 40 miles. Prior to the Mexico earthquake, a powerful and shallow 5.9 struck near the Juan de Fuca tectonic plate off the coast of Oregon- indicating tectonic plates worldwide are being rattled by planetary seismic tension. Prior to Oregon earthquake, two massive 8.0+ magnitude earthquakes (8.6 and 8.2) struck the ocean floor off the north coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. As I warned in my book The Extinction Protocol, the power unleashed in these seismic events is growing. This is testament to the dangers and seriousness of the earth-changes facing us and how these events are unleashing more unbridled force with each successive eruption. The Indian Ocean strike-slip fault earthquakes are very unusual. As a matter of fact, I’ve never heard of a strike-slip lateral earthquakes of this great a magnitude; especially under water. Preliminary assessment of the Indonesian quakes by U.S. geologists suggests one plate lurched past each other as much as 70 feet. San Andreas is a strike-slip, lateral- can we even imagine two sections of ground moving 70 feet near San Francisco? Had the force of the Sumatra quakes been unleashed upon San Andreas, the city would have been completely destroyed. Ironically, the largest surface displacement ever recorded in a lateral strike-slip fault was 21 feet and that was in the 1906 7.9 San Andreas earthquake. Just so we understand the significance of what transpired today; the Japanese March 11, 2011 earthquake move the ocean floor 79 feet sideways and 10 ft upwards, but today’s earthquakes happened in double 8.0+ magnitude sequence and moved the earth nearly as far. Worst, the seismic tension from the event ricocheted around the world and contributed to other earthquakes. –The Extinction Protocol

Mark, is it still OK if I post news items from this web site? I've been doing so since Jan when I saw it linked on a youtube channel I follow.

Anyhow, this isn't the first time I've seen New Age Codewords on these articles(but caught my attention closely for the first time), but like said, it posts news items, not necessarily Op-Eds.

uhm, sure. But i would look into this guy some. Remember the new-age communicates in code words... and "earth changes" is their word for the end times and the removal of all the bad vibrating people, IE: born again Christians.

So basically, alot of these New Agers may have the outward appearance of being anti-NWO, but inwardly they are subtlely promoting the New Age? This web site seems to be an ideal example.

Alex Jones is a prime example - he uses the codeword "species" quite a bit.

Magnitude-6.5 quake shakes Vanuatu

NEW YORK — A magnitude-6.5 earthquake rattled the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The quake struck at 9:05 a.m. Sunday local time (2205 GMT Saturday), some 8.7 kilometers (5.4 miles) below the surface, the USGS said.

The USGS said the quake hit some 148 kilometers (91 miles) southeast Port-Vila, Vanuatu and about 1,864 kilometers (1,158 miles) northeast Brisbane, Australia.

Great topic!  I have heard that the USGS is rating earthquakes below what other countries are rating them.  For example, if China has an earthquake magnitude 7.0, USGS will say the magnitude was 6.7.

Strong earthquake shakes central Chile

SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) — A strong magnitude-6.7 earthquake shook central Chile late Monday, prompting authorities to order the evacuation of a stretch of coastline and causing hundreds of people in the capital to flee buildings in panic.

There were no reports of major damage, but authorities in the port city of Valparaiso said a 72-year-old man died of a heart attack during the quake. The earthquake was felt for almost a minute in Valparaiso and the capital, Santiago.

The U.S. Geological Survey initially put the quake's magnitude at 6.5 but later raised it to 6.7. Its epicenter was 26 miles (42 kilometers) northeast of Valparaiso, and it had a depth of 23 miles (37 kilometers). It struck just minutes before midnight local time Monday (3:50 Tuesday GMT).

The Chilean navy's hydrographic and oceanographic service discounted the possibility of a tsunami, but authorities maintained an order for people to move to higher ground along a roughly 500-mile (roughly 780 kms) stretch of coastline running from the city of Constitucion to Tongoy, north of the capital. Thousands of people were later allowed to return home, said Deputy Interior Secretary Rodrigo Ubilla.

The quake knocked out power and telephone service in various parts of Santiago, but the National Emergency Office of the Interior Ministry said that it had received no reports of major damage or injuries so far.

There were reports of rockslides on a highway outside of Santiago, and residents of Valparaiso said the facades of some old buildings had fallen.

Public Works Minister Laurence Golbourne said that that Chile's airports and roadways appeared undamaged.

Chile is highly earthquake-prone. A magnitude-7.1 earthquake struck central Chile on March 25, the strongest and longest that many people said they had felt since a huge quake devastated that region two years ago. In 2010, the 8.8-magnitude quake caused a tsunami that obliterated much of the coastal downtown of the central Chilean city of Constitucion.

6.2 magnitude earthquake strikes near S. Sandwich Islands

Posted on April 17, 2012

April 17, 2012 – ANTARCTICA - A shallow 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck near the Sandwich Islands around the Scotia tectonic plate. This is the third major 6.0+ magnitude earthquake to strike the planet in 16 hours. The earthquake is only one of the latest in a growing cluster of large quakes to strike the planet along plate boundaries after the massive 8.6 and 8.2 lateral slip-fault quakes off the coast of Sumatra set the entire planet reeling. Today’s 6.2 magnitude quake was rather shallow about 1 to 5 km in depth and is not expected to generate a tsunami.

New Brunswick town plagued for weeks by ‘earthquake swarm’ — and no one knows why

Apr 17, 2012 – 8:17 PM ET | Last Updated: Apr 18, 2012 8:55 AM ET

Springtime in McAdam, a tiny village in southwestern New Brunswick not far from the Maine border, is like springtime in most other parts of Canada. Locals chatter about the NHL playoffs, the garden they are planting, the grass that needs to be cut, the fish they can’t wait to catch and the cottage they can’t wait to get to, once the warm weather really settles in.

Lately, however, an interloper has elbowed its way into the community’s daily dialogue. Pushing aside the playoffs. Pushing its way to the very top of the talking points.

“Everybody is talking about the earthquakes,” says David Blair, a retired science teacher and lifetime McAdam resident from his home on Old Harvey Road, just east of downtown.

“You’ll be out and about and people will say, ‘Did you feel the one last night, or did you feel the one this morning? Some people will say yes, others might say no. It really depends on what you are doing.’
