The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Catholic Politicians You Thought Were Evangelical

Correction Appended
Some Catholic politicos have become popular among evangelical Christians. So popular, in fact, that they can sometimes be mistaken for an evangelical themselves.

Here are five Catholic politicians who are often believed to be evangelicals:

Rick Santorum

In 2005, then Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, who is the current GOP front-runner, was named by Time Magazine as one of the 25 most influential evangelicals. Santorum's strong support of Israel, traditional family values and anti-abortion legislation has garnered him favor among evangelical Christians.

Jeb Bush

Former two-term Florida Governor Jeb Bush was born into conservative royalty. He is the second son of former President George H. W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush and the younger brother of former President George W. Bush. A former Episcopalian, Bush converted to Catholicism, the faith of his wife, Columba, in 1995.

Newt Gingrich

Republican Presidential Candidate and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was baptized at a Southern Baptist church in New Orleans while he was attending graduate school. His conversion to Catholicism in 2009 came after he began attending mass in 2000 with his third wife, Callista.

Bobby Jindal

The first Indian-American governor in America grew up in a Hindu household and converted to Catholicism while in college. The former congressman was sworn in as governor of Louisiana in 2008 after running on a platform of ethics reform. Jindal has a consistently pro-life voting record and signed a bill that allows high school teachers to present alternative views to evolution, such as intelligent design.

Clarence Thomas

Six of the nine current Supreme Court justices are Catholic. Thomas attended a Catholic seminary for a short time before attending College of the Holy Cross, a private Catholic college in Worcester, Mass. Thomas was one of four dissenting judges in Planned Parenthood v. Casey (1992) who argued that Roe v. Wade (1973), the case that legalized abortion, was wrongly decided.

Santorum Begins Tennessee Tour at Spirit-Filled Church

Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum appeared before an enthusiastic crowd of supporters this afternoon at a Spirit-filled Southern Baptist church in Chattanooga, Tenn.—his first stop in the state before the Super Tuesday primaries on March 6.

Abba’s House, formerly Central Baptist Church of Hixon, is led by charismatic author Ron Phillips and opened its doors to the Chattanooga Tea Party, which coordinated the event to parade local and regional candidates in a “Liberty Forum,” highlighted by Santorum’s appearance.

Having lived in New Orleans for almost 20 years, I know who Bobby Jindal is. He was first in the spotlight at a YOUNG age when he served under then-gov Mike Foster's health care team(or insurance, whatever it is), and then really got into the spotlight when he ran for governor in 2003(but lost to Kathleen Blanco).

He then ran for Congress in 2004(and won) - subsequently, my former pastor there openly admitted on the pulpit that he would travel to DC to have fellowship with Bobby Jindal, b/c (supposedly)they share the same faith. I didn't think anything of it at the time, b/c I had no idea how deceptive the Catholic religion was. However, you didn't hear any concerns among the pews, deacons, Sun school teachers, the city seminary school President(who attended our church), the other Baptist pastors in the city, etc, etc over what he was doing.

And it was in 2007 when Jindal ran for governor again, when it was made know over some snide comments he made about the Protestant Reformation. But en yet, NO concerns from any of the Baptist ministers in the state, almost all of whom let Jindal speak on their pulpits.

Anyhow, you can see how Apostacized the SBC/Protestant churches are b/c they have allowed these demons to infiltrate their churches. And the whole "moral majority"'s agenda seems to have been just that, allow Catholicism to infiltrate the walls of these non-Catholic churches.

Shocked That right there shows the depth at which the Jesuits have infiltrated.

Isn't intelligent design another form of evolution, like the ancient astronaut theory Huh But somehow what Jindal's doing is OK? Angry

Sure, these "conservative" politicians and judges may be "pro life", however, if they really had true love for the sheep(the people in this country), then they would be doing everything they can to, including laying down their own lives, to prevent these agendas. Pt being that Thomas and the rest of these folks are doing nothing but partaking in a Hegelian Dialect when it comes to these issues. If let's say the USSC rules pro-choice 9-0 or 7-2, then it would look incredibly obvious to everyone in the country that the whole thing is nothing but a charade.

Santorum expresses support for Bruce Jenner

Bruce Jenner got support from a surprising quarter on Saturday: Rick Santorum.

“If he says he’s a woman, then he’s a woman,” Santorum, the former GOP senator from Pennsylvania, said about Jenner in South Carolina, according to BuzzFeed. Let me know how that works out for you when HE wants to shower with your wife in the woman's shower at her gym.

Jenner, the former Olympic gold medalist and reality television star, announced last week that he identified as and was transitioning to a woman.

Santorum, who is considering a second straight bid for the Republican nomination, has long had a reputation as a staunch social conservative.

“My responsibility as a human being is to love and accept everybody. Not to criticize people for who they are. I can criticize, and I do, for what people do, for their behavior. But as far as for who they are, you have to respect everybody,” Santorum said.

Santorum did add that “these are tough issues” for both businesses and society, including the question of whether Jenner could use a women’s bathroom.

Santorum has been one of the GOP's most strident opponents of gay marriage over the years, at one point comparing the issue to the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Last month, Santorum said he wouldn't attend a gay wedding – something other potential GOP candidates have said they would.

Just saying Rick, the arrival of sodomites in your land IS JUDGMENT from the Lord.

I'm not trying to defend the GOP either - but they've pretty much infiltrated every aspect of society(the sodomite log cabin Republicans have been around for years, as far back as Bush II). And now the "conservative" Southern Baptist Convention is entertaining ideas of having "dialogues" with the sodomite community.

Yes - pt I'm making here is that sodomy upon a nation is JUDGMENT.
