    More on Black Lives Matter

    Most of the responses to my recent article titled “Black Lives Matter Exposed” were positive. But two responders called me a racist and one said some things that were clearly unrepeatable.

    If I am a racist for trying to shine some light on what is going on so be it. I am even willing to be called a low down dirty double racist for writing a second article on the subject.

    From what I have read 49 policemen were shot in the U.S. in 2014, 42 in 2015, and 26 so far in 2016. This needs to stop.

    First, everyone needs to know about George Soros and his Open Society Institutes and Open Society Foundations.

    An article by Steve Kroft (of CBS 60 Minutes fame) titled “One Evil Human” says George Soros (birth name was Gyorgy Swartz) was born of Jewish parents in Hungary, but he is an atheist, anti-God, anti-family, anti-American and anti-good.

    The article says in France, George Soros was convicted of “insider trading.” In Hungary, he was fined for “illegal market manipulation.” In Malaysia, the prime minister called him a “villain and a moron.” In Thailand, an activist called him a kind of Dracula that “sucks the blood out of people.”

    The article calls Pres. Obama a “puppet” of George Soros. It says George Soros is the man who most probably put Pres. Obama in office, in 2008 Soros gave $5 billion dollars to the Democratic National Committee and he “controls President Obama’s every move.”

    A Jan. 14, 2015 Washington Times article by Kelly Riddell titled “George Soros Funds Ferguson Protests, Hopes to Spur Civil Action” says tax reports show that Mr. Soros’ Open Society Foundations gave $33 million in one year to organizations that supported the Ferguson, MO protests.

    Second, everyone needs to be honest about Pres. Obama’s character. He is a chronic liar with a forged birth certificate and stolen Social Security number. He has been caught breaking the law and refusing to obey court orders.

    Like his friend George Soros he appears to be anti-American. For years, he sat under a preacher (Jeremiah Wright, Jr.) that preached, “God damn America.” He promised to fundamentally change America. He travelled to foreign nations criticizing America.

    Newt Gingrich said, “Obama is . . . in many ways the first anti-American president.” New York Mayor Rudy Giuliana said he does not think Pres. Obama loves America. Alan Keyes said he is anti-American and “it was insane to put him there” (into the White House).

    He has made America’s weak economy worse; purged dozens of America’s military leaders and presided over the loss of America’s superpower status; damaged America’s relations with her allies, especially Israel; released billions of dollars to a nation that calls for the destruction of America and made it possible for that nation to get nuclear weapons in the future.

    Pres. Obama released thousands of prisoners from jail; opened our borders knowing that terrorists are coming in; fast-tracked an agreement (TPP) that surrenders the sovereignty of America; and supported the establishment of a world government by 2030.

    Third, everyone needs to know who DeRay McKesson is. Records show that he is a leader in Black Lives Matter and a frequent visitor to the White House.

    In an article titled “Cozy: BLM leader lives in home owned by Soros’ Open Society Board Member,” writer Ryan Girdusky reveals where DeRay McKesson lives and he shows that the house is owned by James E. Wood, Jr. and his wife Robin.

    In 2008, George Soros’ Open Society Institute website listed Robin as a board member.

    On July 7, 2016, Black Lives Matter protestors marched in Dallas, TX chanting: 1) “What do we want? Dead Cops! When do we want it? Now!” 2) “Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon!” and 3) “Hands up, don’t shoot!”

    While they were still in the streets chanting that they wanted dead cops now, Micah Johnson started shooting at police officers. And it didn’t end until he had shot 12 officers (5 were killed).

    On July 9, 2016, DeRay McKesson was arrested at demonstrations in Baton Rouge, LA. Others were arrested and at least 2 guns were confiscated. Mr. McKesson was released the next day.

    On July 12, 2016, Pres. Obama spoke at a memorial service for the deceased police officers. The next day, on July 13, 2016, Pres. Obama met for about three hours with DeRay McKesson and others at the White House.

    Understand that an anti-American man called George Soros helped what some believe is an anti-American man named Barack Obama get elected; that Mr. Soros has been giving money to organizations such as Black Lives Matter that are paying demonstrators and chanting for the death of cops.

    Mr. Soros once had a board member on his Open Society Institute that has an interest in the house in which a Black Lives Matter leader named DeRay McKesson lives; that DeRay McKesson visits Pres. Obama at the White House often and that DeRay McKesson met with Pres. Obama and others at the White House about one week after the Dallas police officers were shot.

    Finally, I am not convinced that George Soros and his ally Barak Obama are really trying to help black people. They have had seven and one-half years to do it and things have gotten worse not better. As far as I am concerned, all of the evidence seems to say that they are just using black people to advance their own anti-American agenda.

    If they succeed, everyone in the U.S. (black, white, police or whatever) will be worse off not better off. All of us need to love each other, forgive each other, help each other and pray for each other regardless of race.

White House Responds to Petition Requesting ‘Black Lives Matter’ Be Labeled a Terror Group

The White House has officially responded to an online petition requesting the “Black Lives Matter” movement be labeled a terror group, saying it “plays no role in designating domestic terror organizations.”

The petition was originally created on July 6, the same day a gunman in Dallas opened fire on police, leaving five officers dead. In order for a petition to receive a response from the White House, it must receive at least 100,000 signatures. The petition currently boasts more than 140,000 signatures.

The petition reads as follows:

Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims”. This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations. Black Lives Matter has earned this title due to its actions in Ferguson, Baltimore, and even at a Bernie Sanders rally, as well as all over the United States and Canada. It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare Black Lives Matter a terror group — on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.

In response, the White House quoted extensively from President Barack Obama, encouraging “frank conversations about the steps we can take together to build trust and ensure justice for all Americans.” Speaking at the memorial service in Dallas, the president called on all Americans to “stand in each other’s shoes and look at the world through each other’s eyes.”

Ultimately, the petition’s response from the White House said the government “does not generate a list of domestic terror organizations.”

“Therefore we are not able to address the formal request of your petition,” the response reads. “We encourage you to engage with your community in the ongoing discussion of how we can better build trust and safety in our communities.”

Facebook Bans Commentator for Saying Black Lives Matter 'Promotes Prejudice' - Breitbart

Robbie Travers, a British political commentator from the Gatestone Institute, has had his Facebook account temporarily blocked after he posted a criticism of Black Lives Matter.

Travers, who has a Facebook following of nearly 7,000 people, wrote in a post that although he believed Black Lives Matter had been founded with “good intentions,” it had now become a “supremacist organisation.”

In a matter of hours, the post had been taken down for “violating Facebook’s community standards.”

In a statement to Breitbart News, Travers said: “I think there is certainly a worrying inconsistency, pages which have beheadings, anti-Semitic content and pro-jihadist content are rarely shut down, Facebook needs to address this, and preferably, only remove posts that encourage an individual directly to commit violence.”

However, Facebook’s support for Black Lives Matter is not something new. CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg chastised employees in February for replacing the phrase “Black Lives Matter” on chalkboard walls with “All Lives Matter.” A former employee told reporters in May that the company had been suppressing conservative outlets such as Breitbart whilst artificially promoting stories about Black Lives Matter. Last month, the company put a massive “Black Lives Matter” banner on display at its headquarters.

Gangs In Chicago Reportedly Agree To Use Snipers And Automatic Weapons Against The Police

Is the city of Chicago about to see a wave of unprecedented chaos and violence? The facts that I am about to share with you may seem fantastical at first glance, but they come from the Chicago police and they are being reported by the mainstream media. According to authorities, at a recent gathering of major gangs in the city it was agreed that they would use automatic weapons against the police, and at least one of the gangs already has “a sniper in place” but officials do not know where that sniper is located. As I have warned before, a spirit of violence and civil unrest is rising in America, and the number of police officers that were shot and killed during the first half of 2016 was 78 percent higher than during the first half of 2015. Anyone that does not understand that we have a major problem on our hands has simply not been paying attention.

This meeting of major gangs in Chicago was described as a “summit” by ABC Chicago, and an alert about the security threat that this poses was sent out to every police officer in the city on Friday…

    Chicago police officers are being warned about a security threat involving possible attacks by gangs on the city’s West Side.

    ABC7 has obtained a warning that the department sent out to every police officer on Friday.

    The warning described a summit between senior West Side gang members in which they “agreed to use automatic weapons against Chicago police officers.” The alert also said one gang provided guns and placed a sniper at an unknown location.

An article published by the Chicago Sun-Times went into even greater detail about this story. Apparently the three gangs involved in the summit were the Vice Lords, the Black Disciples and the Four Corner Hustlers, and reportedly it is the Four Corner Hustlers that will be providing automatic weapons to members of the other two gangs…

    The meeting took place Thursday between higher-ups from the Vice Lords, Black Disciples and Four Corner Hustlers, according to an alert issued to department members the day after the meeting.

    The Four Corner Hustlers “provided guns” and have “a sniper in place” though authorities do not know where, according to the alert. The Four Corner Hustlers also are supplying the other two gangs with automatic weapons, which all three factions also have agreed to use against police, the alert states.

It appears that what precipitated this “summit” of major gangs was the shooting death of 18-year-old Paul O’Neal. That incident made headlines all over the nation and resulted in very large protests in downtown Chicago…

    Tensions remain high in America’s third-largest city just days after video footage emerged of the moments leading up to the fatal shooting of Paul O’Neal, an 18-year-old African-American teen.

    O’Neal was gunned down by officers back in July after he stole a car and got into a chase with cops which ended in the city’s South Shore neighborhood.

    Last week, demonstrators in downtown Chicago blocked streets and traffic while protesting the shooting.

If you don’t live in the Chicago area, you may not be aware of the massive gang problem in the city.

Four years ago, the Chicago Crime Commission estimated that there were 150,000 gang members currently living in the city. That was the highest number in the entire nation, and since then that number has certainly only gone up.

Meanwhile, there are just 13,318 law enforcement officers of all descriptions in the city of Chicago.

So essentially the police are outnumbered by a more than 10 to 1 margin, and now the gangs are planning to use automatic weapons?

These are ominous times for the Windy City.

Meanwhile, the threat of violence from Islamic terrorists continues to grow. We all saw what happened not too long ago at a small church in France, and there are a lot of people that are concerned that we could soon see similar scenarios play out all over this country.

For a moment, I would like for you to consider one incident that happened earlier this year at a church in Riverside, California…

    As Father Josiah Trenham prepared to read the Gospel, several parishioners discreetly scooped up their babies, retreated up the aisles of St. Andrew Orthodox Church and out into the spring air, so as not to allow the crying of little ones to disturb the divine liturgy.

    The time-honored tradition was shattered when a car passed by the Riverside, Calif., church, slowing down as the front passenger leaned out of his window and bellowed menacingly through a bullhorn, according to witnesses.

    “Allahu Akbar!” the unidentified man repeated several times as the unnerved parents drew their infants close and exchanged worried glances.

Fortunately that unidentified man only had a bullhorn.

But what if he had been holding a gun or had thrown a grenade?

We do know that ISIS has been warning that there will be more attacks on churches, and in one recent article I described how an entire church in this country ended up on an ISIS kill list.

20 years ago, I couldn’t have imagined writing articles about gangs using automatic weapons in Chicago or about Islamic terrorists potentially attacking churches in America.

But times have changed, and we need to deal with the new realities that are confronting us. In my new book I warn about the chaos and the violence that are coming to America, and what we have seen so far is just the very small tip of a very large iceberg.

Just remember what happened in Orlando. It was the largest mass shooting in American history, but moments before it happened most of the people in that club would have never even imagined that an Islamic terrorist was about to start shooting at them.

On Monday night, that terrorist’s father made a very surprising appearance at a very unexpected location…

    As they were covering Hillary Clinton’s campaign rally in Kissimmee, Florida on Monday, a crew from Florida television station WPTV noticed the father of the Orlando nightclub shooter sitting in the audience, directly behind Hillary Clinton.

Apparently Seddique Mateen actually is a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, which somehow seems oddly appropriate.

But could you ever imagine Osama Bin Laden’s father sitting behind George W. Bush at a campaign rally?

I couldn’t either.

These are very, very strange times that we are living in, and they are about to get a whole lot stranger.

So hold on tight and buckle your seat belts, because it is going to be a very bumpy ride.

Violence Erupts In America’s Heartland As Milwaukee Becomes The Latest U.S. City To Burn

The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin exploded in violence last night as the wave of chaos and civil unrest that is sweeping across America continues to intensify.  At this point, many of our largest cities have become powder kegs of anger and frustration, and a full-blown riot can be set off with a single bullet.  In this case, an armed suspect was shot and killed by Milwaukee police as he attempted to evade the police, and his death almost instantly set off pandemonium in the heart of the city.  America is being ripped apart, and much more violence is coming.  Decades of social decay and economic decline have fundamentally transformed many of our greatest cities, and tensions that have been simmering for a very long time are now being brought to a boil.  Sadly, it seems quite likely that we will see even more rage, hatred and divisiveness in the months ahead.

The sudden eruption of violence that we witnessed in Milwaukee last night was absolutely stunning.  Within just hours after the shooting of the armed suspect, fires were burning all over the city…

    Protesters clashed with officers in the hours after a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect during a foot chase. After an hours-long confrontation with officers, police reported that a gas station was set on fire. Police said firefighters initially could not get close to the blaze because of gunshots.

    Later, fires were started at a bank branch, a beauty supply company and an auto parts store as scores of people gathered near the crime scene on the city’s north side, a grim Mayor Tom Barrett said at a news conference Saturday night. He said the unrest was driven by a social media frenzy urging people to gather in the area.

Of course police were one of the primary targets of the violence.  It is being reported that at least one squad car was set ablaze, and another had a brick thrown through a window.

One prominent Milwaukee city official is blaming racial injustice for the violence.  The following comes from CNN…

    City Alderman Khalif Rainey said the area has been a “powder keg” for potential violence throughout the summer.

    “What happened tonight may not have been right and I am not justifying that but no one can deny the fact that there are problems, racial problems in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that need to be rectified,” Rainey said. “This community of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has become the worst place to live for African Americans in the entire country.”

    Rainey said Saturday’s violence was a byproduct of inequities, injustice, unemployment and under-education.

    “Something has to be done to address these issues,” he said. “The black people of Milwaukee are tired, they are tired of living under this oppression, this is their life.”

Without a doubt, the suffering that is going on in our inner cities is intense.  Our economic infrastructure has been gutted by decades of bad trade deals, and evidence of severe social and moral decay is all around us.

But no matter how bad things are, there is never any excuse for committing random acts of violence.  In addition to setting businesses on fire, it is being reported that rioters were trying to drag people out of their vehicles in order to beat them up.

How in the world does that solve anything?

Meanwhile, police all over the nation continue to be targets of violence.  In a previous article, I told my readers that the number of police officers that have been shot and killed this year has risen by 78 percent compared to last year.

Well, over the past few days some more officers have been added to the list.  For example, the following is an excerpt from a CNN report about an officer that was just shot and killed in south Georgia…

    A police officer was shot dead while responding to a call of a suspicious person in south Georgia, authorities said.

    The shooting occurred Saturday night after the officer, Tim Smith, got the call in a residential area in Eastman, special agent Scott Whitley of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations said.

    While on patrol, Smith encountered the subject and exited his car. That’s when he was fatally shot, Whitley said.

And this is from a Fox News report about an officer that was shot and killed in New Mexico…

    Two Ohio fugitives wanted for a murder have been arrested after authorities say one of them fatally shot a New Mexico police officer.

    Dona Ana County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kelly Jameson said Saturday that 38-year-old Jesse Hanes is suspected of gunning down Hatch Police Officer Jose Chavez during a traffic stop Friday.

In addition, there was another very disturbing incident that just happened a few days ago in Arkansas.  When a suspect started shooting at police officers, one was killed, one was wounded, and a police dog named Kina that got hit and ran away was just found on Saturday…

    Police spokeswoman Kristin Faulkenberry told reporters the dog, named Kina, “was up and walking” when searchers found the animal Friday morning near where the shooting unfolded near Hackett, about 115 miles west of Little Rock.

    The dog was shot and ran into a wooded area Wednesday when a man identified as Billy Monroe Jones opened fire on officers, killing Sebastian County Deputy Bill Cooper and wounding Hackett Police Chief Darrell Spells.

Earlier today I talked to a friend of mine that works as a police officer, and he admitted that he and his wife do think about all of this violence that is being directed at the police.  I suppose that it would be exceedingly difficult not to.  Those that are serving their communities in this way are going to have a very tough time moving forward.  At this point every single law enforcement officer in the entire nation is a potential target, and they are just going to have to find a way to deal with this new reality.

America is more divided than I have ever seen in my entire lifetime.  Instead of learning how to love one another, hatred is growing by the day.

More chaos is coming, more violence is coming, and more of our cities will burn.

Things didn’t have to turn out this way, but thanks to decades of incredibly foolish decisions we will now reap what we have sown.

NO APOLOGY FROM WALMART After Police Officer in Uniform Refused Service By Clerks

The St. Cloud, Florida police department has filed a formal complaint with Walmart after a police officer in uniform was refused service by two clerks working at a Walmart store in St. Cloud.

The incident was reported by Central Florida TV news outlet WFTV which got confirmation from Walmart and police that a clerk refused to ring up the officer’s purchases by pointing at her (the clerk’s) skin color. A fellow clerk laughed and also did not help the officer.

Incredibly, Walmart’s corporate office confirmed the incident but did not issue an apology.

WFTV reported Walmart would not comment because it was a personnel issue.

Eyewitness News confirmed the officer walked into the Walmart on 13th Street, grabbed what he needed and then headed for the checkout.

The officer told a friend the cashier pointed to her skin color and told them she wouldn’t ring up his items.

The officer told that friend a second employee laughed at the way the officer was treated.

…Walmart and police confirmed the incident to Channel 9.

(WFTV reporter Field) Sutton contacted Walmart’s corporate office to comment on the incident, but was told, “This is an unfortunate situation, but we cannot comment on an active HR investigation.”

No apology, no commitment by Walmart that police officers are welcome to shop at Walmart.

The St. Cloud police department issued a statement on the Walmart incident announcing a formal complaint had been filed with Walmart.

In response to local inquiries concerning the allegation where an employee of Walmart refused to serve a St. Cloud Police Officer; a formal complaint has been filed with Walmart’s corporate office. The St. Cloud Police Department trusts that Wal Mart will handle the situation properly and professionally.

The St. Cloud Police Department is grateful for the support from our community. We encourage our citizens to come by the St. Cloud Police Department to pick up their free “back the blue” bumper sticker to show their support of law-enforcement instead of participating in community protests.”

DISGUSTING! CNN Liars Selectively Edit Out Sylville Smith's Sisters Threats to Burn Down the Suburbs

On Saturday Sylville Smith’s sister Sherelle urged Milwaukee rioters to burn down the suburbs.

Sylville was shot dead by a black police officer after he waved a gun a cops on Saturday.

But that isn’t how CNN reported the story.
CNN said Sherelle Smith called for peace.
NewsBusters reported:

    You wouldn’t guess Smith had said anything of the kind based on CNN’s reporting. Both on their website and televised on CNN Newsroom Monday, CNN described Sherelle Smith as “calling for peace.” They conveniently left out the rest of her message, calling for protesters to burn down the suburbs.

    On CNN.com, under the subhead, “Residents try to heal,” the article read:

        Smith’s sister Sherelle Smith condemned the violence, saying the community needs the businesses affected. “Don’t bring that violence here,” Neal, his other sister, said while sobbing.

Two Black Men Ask: Where Are Black Lives Matter Activists and New Black Panthers Amid Louisiana Flooding?

Anthony Brian Logan — a “young black male conservative” who “talks about politics” — posted a video on his YouTube channel a few days back that’s starting to get attention.

The title says it all: “Where Are Black Lives Matter and the Black Panthers During the Baton Rouge Louisiana Flood Crisis?”

Logan began by saying he refers to Black Lives Matter as “Black Lies Matter” since the organization is “not telling the truth, not telling you what’s really going on, giving you a false narrative” regarding the black community. Then he jumped into the flooding in Louisiana.

His point was that Black Lives Matter activists and the New Black Panthers showed up en masse to protest in Baton Rouge after the Alton Sterling shooting — but with thousands of black people suffering amid the flood, neither organization appears to be helping.

Logan then turned to a clip of him speaking to a black man from the flood-ravaged region who was wondering the same thing.

The man, who wasn’t identified, told Logan he’s seen “not one Black Panther boat, not one Black Lives Matter boat, truck or nothing else. So with all the drama that was going on with the Alton Sterling killing — they came out with guns … ready to go to war — but here we go, all these people flooded out and truly in need of some help, and you can’t find not one of ‘em.”

The man added, “If y’all out there, where ya at? Where ya boats? Where ya money? Where ya food? Where ya services at? … Black Lives Matter: Obviously we must [not] matter too much, because I ain’t seen y’all yet, when we really need ya.”

“If black lives really matter, shouldn’t they matter all of the time?” Logan asked in his video description, adding:

    That’s the trillion dollar question. And it’s a question more and more black folks are asking. It’s becoming quite clear that these groups aren’t really for the betterment of black America, or America in general. They are funded by George Soros and his ilk to essentially engage in social engineering on a deeper level than the participants of those groups really understand. The people involved with Black Lives (LIES) Matter, like the prominent face of the organization DeRay McKesson, may just be in it for a payday and to become famous. Not realizing that they are being used as a pawn in a bigger game. Either way you slice it, those people are not in it for the reasons that they purport themselves to be, which is for the overall betterment of black people.

Black Lives Matter Has Officially Cost Mizzou 2100 Students

The University of Missouri’s (MU) flagship Columbia campus has officially lost a staggering 23 percent of its freshman class this year, an even worse figure than administrators initially predicted in the wake of major racial strife.

The big enrollment drop at MU has been brewing for months, but finally became a reality this week with the start of fall term on campus. MU’s freshman class this year has some 4,799 students, a drop of over 1,400 from last year, when freshmen numbered 6,211. Overall enrollment is down by over 2,200, a drop of about 7 percent, according to preliminary numbers released by the school.

The drop is even worse than officials at the school were predicting last spring. In March, interim chancellor Hank Foley warned the school was facing a drop of 1,500 students.

The decline is wreaking havoc on the school’s budget, which has a hole of about $30 million. To contain costs and reflect its shrinking population, the school has already shuttered several dormitories.

It’s not hard to find the cause of the school’s woes. Last year, the black activist group Concerned Student 1950 launched a major protest effort, claiming the school was a hotbed of racism and demanding the ouster of MU president Thomas Wolfe. After black members of the football team went on strike, their demands were swiftly met. At the same time, professor Melissa Click was caught on camera attacking a student journalist trying to cover the protests, and calling for “muscle” to carry him off if he refused to leave. Though Click was eventually fired, campus officials otherwise focused on trying to placate protesters and meet their demands, but this only spurred follow-up protests.

As imitation protests sprung up all over the country, MU rapidly became identified with a new, more vigorous brand of disruptive campus activism bolstered by the Black Lives Matter movement. Evidently, that reputation is causing thousands of students to stay far away.

“The national anthem is and always will be a special part of the pregame ceremony,” the team said. “It is an opportunity to honor our country and reflect on the great liberties we are afforded as its citizens. In respecting such American principles as freedom of religion and freedom of expression, we recognize the right of an individual to choose to participate, or not, in our celebration of the national anthem.”

Leaked Memo Reveals Soros Plan for Federally Controlled Police

A leaked document from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations exposes the billionaire’s level of involvement in attempting to build what his organization describes as a “national movement” to reform local police forces across the U.S. The reform largely consists of federal guidelines for local police forces.
The document identifies an opportunity in the police killings of African-American men in Ferguson, Staten Island, North Charleston, and Baltimore. It relates that the U.S. contingent of Open Society held a planning meeting titled, “Police Reform: How to Take Advantage of the Crisis of the Moment and Drive Long-Term Institutional Change in Police-Community Practice.”

The extensive memo further documents that Soros-financed groups and personalities influenced President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, which last May released a final report consisting of 60 recommendations providing guidance to localities on how to modify policing practices.

The information was contained in a 59-page report on an Open Society Foundations’ U.S. Programs board meeting in New York from May 7-9 of last year.

The document states that the Foundations’ U.S. Programs (USP) was seeking to use “this moment” – meaning the so-called crisis in policing following high profile shootings and charges of racism – to “create a national movement” for police reform.

The federal government is seeking philanthropic support for a number of its initiatives. In addition to seeking support to advance the implementation of the recommendations of the Presidential Taskforce, the White House recently launched the Policing Data Initiative to explore how best to use data and technology to build trust, voice, and solutions to improve community policing. The Department of Justice recently selected the first six cities to host pilot sites for the National Initiative for Building Community Trust and Justice, which was launched last fall to help repair and strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve by exploring strategies intended to enhance procedural justice, reduce implicit bias, and support racial reconciliation.

We are gaining a better understanding of these efforts in order to determine how best USP can use this moment to create a national movement. We have already had a set of preliminary conversations with about a dozen key stakeholders and will undertake a field scan to map the areas of work currently underway to advance police reform, including an assessment of the redundancies and gaps in work, and opportunities for collaboration. As we proceed, we will engage the funder network we helped to establish, the Executive Alliance on Men and Boys of Color, which now includes forty foundations.

The document also identifies reducing incarceration rates as another goal of police reform:

The police killings of African-American men in Ferguson, Staten Island, most recently in North Charleston, Baltimore, and many other American cities, highlight that reform of policing policy and practice must be integral to our criminal justice agenda. Notably, while such reform activities are inextricably linked with our concerns about racial justice and equity, in particular about advancing opportunity for boys and men of color, they are also critically related to our goal of reducing incarceration, given the role that police practices play in bringing people into the justice system.

The memo states Soros-financed groups and activists influenced Obama’s police reform task force.  One of the nine members of the task force was Bryan Stevenson, identified on the final task force report itself as “Founder and Executive Director, Equal Justice Initiative.” However, as the Soros document highlights, Stevenson also serves on the board of the Open Society Foundations’ U.S. Programs.  The Foundations’ document also states that a number of Soros-financed organizations gave testimony to Obama’s police reform task force.

Perhaps more promising is the taskforce empaneled by President Obama on policing, which developed more than 60 recommendations to provide direct support and guidance to localities on how to improve policing practices. (USP Advisory Board member Bryan Stevenson served as a member of the taskforce and a number of grantees, including NAACP-Legal Defense Fund [LDF], Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights [LCCHR], and others, testified at its hearings.)

Since the release of the taskforce’s recommendations earlier this month, there has been much discussion about how best to ensure effective implementation given the federal government’s limited authority to dictate reform at the local level.

The memo reveals a coalition of Soros-financed groups and other organizations advocating for police reform:

The events of the past several months have understandably led to a wide range of activities, including a variety of advocacy efforts, to respond to the significant challenges in policing that have been exposed and the opportunity to promote meaningful and lasting change. For example, organized under the banner of the Civil Rights Coalition on Police Reform, organizations like the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, LCCHR, and LDF are advocating for federal reform efforts with a particular emphasis on data collection and transparency and, as noted above, effecting federal funding streams. A variety of other national advocacy organizations, including grantees Advancement Project, PolicyLink, the Center for Popular Democracy, and the ACLU are working to provide advocates with toolkits and resources to help their organizing efforts. Locally based groups such as the Ohio Student Association, the Organization for Black Struggle, the Asian Law Caucus, and the ACLU of New Jersey, to name a few, are advocating for specific reforms at the city and state levels.

It identifies Black Lives Matter as central to the national campaign: “Another layer of grassroots and youth-oriented groups like Freedom Side, Ferguson Action, Black Lives Matter, and Million Hoodies Movement for Justice are also advocating for specific reforms.”

Earlier this month, Breitbart News first reported that another hacked Soros document confirmed that the Open Society last year approved $650,000 to “invest in technical assistance and support for the groups at the core of the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter movement.”

The Open Society also called for a discussion on whether it would be appropriate for the Soros group to try to “shape” Black Lives Matter in the future, that document related.

Black Teen Assaults 5-Year-Old Girl, School Defends it as Normal Behavior

Father: "I'm very upset, I'm mad"

A 17-year-old black teenager on probation assaulted a 5-year-old girl on a school bus, but the school’s superintendent later tried to defend the behavior as normal.

The girl’s father, Terry Peters, said he noticed a mark on his daughter’s face when he picked her up from the school bus last week.

“People came out and they began to state to me that she got slapped on the school bus,” said Peters told WAGT. “I’m very upset, I’m mad.”

Surveillance footage shows 17-year-old Tavon Walters reach over a bus seat and use another student’s hand to hit 5-year-old Jasmine Peters on the right side of her face.

“He had reached over that seat and he was telling another girl that ‘if you don’t hit her then I’m going to hit her for you,’” said Peters.

However, Bamberg District superintendent Phyllis Schwarting appeared to defend the assault, remarking, “The behavior on the bus was not any more abnormal than most buses.”

School officials also tried to claim that Walters was not responsible for the marks on the girl’s face because they appeared on the opposite side to what is shown in the video.

However, the explanation is clearly that the photo has been flipped horizontally, something the school somehow failed to notice.

The school’s insistence that the assault was “not abnormal” and their attempts to absolve Walters of blame will play into charges by some that black-on-white violent assaults are being covered up in order to defend a leftist consensus that African-Americans are the victims of a racist white America.

For years, the media has played down the racial aspect of black-on-white violent crime by calling it “the knockout game.”

Some commentators have asserted that the attacks represent a disturbing trend of violent criminals feeling emboldened to attack white people in the belief that it is somehow justified in the aftermath of the Ferguson riots.

According to news reports, a 17-year-old South Carolina high school student, Tavon Walters, is facing assault charges after being caught on video slapping a 5-year-old girl on a school bus.

The girl’s father, Terry Peters, noticed a red hand print on Jazmyn’s face after she got home from an after-school program. Jazmyn told her father that the boy dared a girl to hit her but said he would do it if she wouldn’t.

Bus surveillance video shows Walters reaching over the seat and using the hand of the girl seated next to Jazmyn to slap the kindergartner in the face.

Police say Walters is on probation and has a history of violence and getting into trouble at school. The rural school district could provide no good answers as to why such a wide range of ages was allowed on this bus. The boy turned himself in and was given a $1,000 bond.

In the news report below, which shows the attack, the school superintendent didn’t help matters when she nonchalantly stated, “The behavior on the bus was not any more abnormal than on most buses.”

On why the 17-year-old criminal was even allowed to ride the bus, the superintendent said, “Well, he’s not had any bus incidents, for one thing.”

California State University Debuts Segregated Housing for Black Students

California State University Los Angeles recently debuted segregated housing for black students, a move intended to protect them from “microaggressions,” according to The College Fix.

Last year, Cal State L.A.’s Black Student Union wrote a letter to the university’s president outlining a series of demands, including the “creation and financial support of a CSLA housing space delegated for Black students and a full time Resident Director who can cater to the needs of Black students.”

“Many Black CSLA students cannot afford to live in Alhambra or the surrounding area with the high prices of rent. A CSLA housing space delegated for Black students would provide a cheaper alternative housing solution for Black students. This space would also serve as a safe space for Black CSLA students to congregate, connect, and learn from each other,” the letter stated.

Robert Lopez, a spokesman for the university, confirmed to The College Fix that the students’ demand for housing specifically for black students had been met, saying that the school’s new Halisi Scholars Black Living-Learning Community “focuses on academic excellence and learning experiences that are inclusive and non-discriminatory.”

Lopez said the black student housing is within the existing residential complex on campus.

The College Fix noted that other universities, including the University of California, Davis; the University of California, Berkeley; and University of Connecticut, offer similar housing arrangements.

JUST IN: BLACK COPS SUE #BLACKLIVESMATTER FOR STARTING RACE WAR

A Dallas Police Sergeant has filed a federal lawsuit against the Black Lives Matter group accusing their leaders of inciting anti-police violence.

Sgt. Demetrick Pennie, president of the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation and a police officer for 17 years, filed the lawsuit in federal court Friday, claiming the group is inciting racial violence against law enforcement.

He wrote that he filed it on behalf of “police officers and other law enforcement persons of all races and ethnicities including but not limited to Jews, Christians and Caucasians,” Breitbart is reporting.

The defendants are not only members of Black Lives matter, but prominent race-baiting and leftist figures like Al Sharpton, Louis Farrahkan, George Soros, The New Black Panthers Party and even President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

This motley crew have “repeatedly incited their supporters and others to engage in threats of and attacks to cause serious bodily injury or death upon police officers and other law enforcement persons of all races and ethnicities.”

The suit accuses the defendants of inciting supporters and others “to engage in threats and attacks” against law enforcement officers around the country, including the July 7 murders of five Dallas police officers by Micah Johnson after a Black Lives Matter demonstration.

Pennie is represented by Larry Klayman, a lawyer from the conservative group FreedomWatch.

“Sergeant Pennie and I feel duty-bound to put ourselves forward to seek an end to the incitement of violence against law enforcement which has already resulted in the death of five police officers in Dallas and the wounding of seven more, just in Texas alone,” Klayman said in a press release.

The 66-page complaint seeks damages of more than $500 million.

In July, an editorial in the Dallas Morning News praised Pennie for inviting Cleveland Browns football star Isaiah Crowell to attend the funeral of one of the slain Dallas officers after Crowell briefly posted an anti-police image on social media in anger over the deaths of African Americans in police-involved shootings nationwide.  READ MORE

U.S. owes black people reparations for a history of ‘racial terrorism,’ says U.N. panel

The history of slavery in the United States justifies reparations for African Americans, argues a recent report by a U.N.-affiliated group based in Geneva.

This conclusion was part of a study by the United Nations' Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent, a body that reports to the international organization's High Commissioner on Human Rights. The group of experts, which includes leading human rights lawyers from around the world, presented its findings to the United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday, pointing to the continuing link between present injustices and the dark chapters of American history.

"In particular, the legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality in the United States remains a serious challenge, as there has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent," the report stated. "Contemporary police killings and the trauma that they create are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynching."

Citing the past year's spate of police officers killing unarmed African American men, the panel warned against "impunity for state violence," which has created, in its words, a "human rights crisis" that "must be addressed as a matter of urgency."

The panel drew its recommendations, which are nonbinding and unlikely to influence Washington, after a fact-finding mission in the United States in January. At the time, it hailed the strides taken to make the American criminal justice system more equitable but pointed to the corrosive legacy of the past.

"Despite substantial changes since the end of the enforcement of Jim Crow and the fight for civil rights, ideology ensuring the domination of one group over another, continues to negatively impact the civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights of African Americans today," it said in a statement. "The dangerous ideology of white supremacy inhibits social cohesion amongst the US population."

In its report, it specifically dwells on the extrajudicial murders that were a product of an era of white supremacy:

    Lynching was a form of racial terrorism that has contributed to a legacy of racial inequality that the United States must address. Thousands of people of African descent were killed in violent public acts of racial control and domination and the perpetrators were never held accountable.

The reparations could come in a variety of forms, according to the panel, including "a formal apology, health initiatives, educational opportunities ... psychological rehabilitation, technology transfer and financial support, and debt cancellation."

To be sure, such initiatives are nowhere in the cards, even after the question of reparations arose again two years ago when surfaced by the groundbreaking work of American journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Separately, a coalition of Caribbean nations is calling for reparations from their former European imperial powers for the impact of slavery, colonial genocide and the toxic racial laws that shaped life for the past two centuries in these countries. Their efforts are fitful, and so far not so fruitful.

When asked by reporters to comment on the tone of the American presidential election campaign on Monday, the working group's chairman, Ricardo A. Sunga of the Philippines, expressed concern about "hate speech ... xenophobia [and] Afrophobia" that he felt was prevalent in the campaign, although he didn't specifically call out Republican candidate Donald Trump.

"We are very troubled that these are on the rise," said Sunga.

This Myth Is Destroying the Country

It's often said, "There is only one race—the human race." While the phrase has become almost cliché in repetition, it happens to be 100 percent accurate, both scientifically and theologically speaking.

From Ferguson to Baltimore, Tulsa to Charlotte—and on college campuses from coast-to-coast—a great divide is sweeping America. It is fueled largely, if not entirely, by half-truths and outright lies. Truth is irrelevant. Only the narrative matters. When "Hands Up Don't Shoot™" can do so very much to further "the cause," it matters not that it represents a holocaust-denial-level of detachment from reality.

Which tells you everything you need to know about the cause.

This is by design. These embers of racial division are purposely fanned to a red-hot flame by certain political leaders, "social justice" warriors and "community organizers"—cut principally from the same ideological cloth—in order to permanently ingrain a turbulent level of cultural division based solely upon the varying shades of people's skin. This, in turn, is intended to provoke widespread governmental dependency and, thus, one-party political control in perpetuity.

Yet, even at its core the idea of racial division—of race itself—is a myth. To sub-divide humanity based upon nothing more than varying levels of skin pigmentation is to rely upon the weakest of genetic markers.

And "race" really does signify nothing more than skin color.

Science dispels the Myth of 'Race'

In a Feb. 5 Scientific American article titled, "Race Is a Social Construct, Scientists Argue," journalist Megan Gannon writes, "Today, the mainstream belief among scientists is that race is a social construct without biological meaning. And yet, you might still open a study on genetics in a major scientific journal and find categories like 'white' and 'black' being used as biological variables."

"In an article published today (Feb. 4) in the journal Science," continues Gannon, "four scholars say racial categories are weak proxies for genetic diversity and need to be phased out."

"It's a concept we think is too crude to provide useful information. It's a concept that has social meaning that interferes in the scientific understanding of human genetic diversity, and it's a concept that we are not the first to call upon moving away from," notes Michael Yudell, professor of public health at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Under the latest genetic research, race is "understood to be a poorly defined marker of that diversity and an imprecise proxy for the relationship between ancestry and genetics," he adds.

While not directly involved with the research, Dr. Svante Pääbo, a biologist and director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Germany, agrees wholeheartedly with its findings. "What the study of complete genomes from different parts of the world has shown is that even between Africa and Europe, for example, there is not a single absolute genetic difference, meaning no single variant where all Africans have one variant and all Europeans another one, even when recent migration is disregarded."

Still, as the researchers likewise note, "Assumptions about genetic differences between people of different races have had obvious social and historical repercussions." Indeed, there are those on both extremes of the political spectrum with a vested interest in making sure these social and historical repercussions remain as inflamed and catastrophic as possible.

"Race" is a divisive means to a selfish political end.

It is not a scientific reality.

God's Final Word on 'Race'

We love labels. We love to pit people against one another and lump them into neat, fixed little categories of put-upons, most often based upon outward appearances: black vs. white; Hispanic vs. Asian; tall vs. short; skinny vs. fat; old vs. young; abled vs. disabled, and so on.

Yet these divisions are artificial. They're man-made. Every human being is created by a holy God, in His image and likeness, and imbued by Him with infinite worth and import. There is only one true and transcendent physical division, and that division was both created and intended by God to become reconciled as one flesh through the holy bonds of marriage—this, to propagate the human race: "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Gen. 1:27).

Male and female. The XY and the XX. Immutable distinctions with a beautiful and bountiful difference. That's it. All other physical divisions, especially racial divisions, remain artificial.

Our bodies, you see, are merely outward shells. As the great Scottish author and theologian George MacDonald once wrote, "Never tell a child 'you have a soul.' Teach him, 'you are a soul; you have a body.'"

We are souls. We have a body—an outward shell or "Earth suit" as one of my favorite professors used to say. Why on God's Earth are we so deceived to believe that we must separate ourselves and hate one another based upon superficial, almost cosmetic outward appearances?

"Now I urge you, brothers, to closely watch those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them" (Rom. 16:17).

To be sure, Christ Jesus alone can dissolve these divisions. "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is generous toward all who call upon Him" (Rom. 10:12).

These are not financial riches, but riches of love, life, spirit and salvation.

As a man with an Italian wife, a black sister-in-law, a Filipino uncle and biologically-related half Filipino cousins, a step-grandmother who illegally immigrated from Mexico, biologically-related half Mexican aunts and uncles, and dozens of foster brothers and sisters from across the globe, I have learned firsthand throughout my life that "race" is truly meaningless—it's less than skin deep.

Until we learn this as a nation, we will remain a nation divided.

Yes, love is the answer. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34).

There is no political fix to this problem.

It's a spiritual problem, requiring a spiritual fix.

And His name is Jesus.

California community outraged after officer kills unarmed black man

El Cajon, California (CNN)Activists dismayed by the police killing of an unarmed, possibly mentally ill black man in El Cajon, California, demanded Wednesday that authorities release video of the shooting.
They also want a federal probe into the man's death. Police have not released the man's name.

As of Wednesday afternoon, police had released little information about the incident, aside from a still photograph showing the African-American man, in what authorities describe as a "shooting stance," facing off with two officers in a parking lot.

El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells identified one of the officers involved as Richard Gonsalves, a 21-year veteran of the force. In a news conference Wednesday, Wells would not identify the second officer who was involved, except to say that officer was also a 21-year veteran of the force. He gave no explanation for why one officer was being named but not the other.

Wells said he understood the frustration of demonstrators, who gathered at the intersection of Johnson Ave and Interstate 8 earlier Wednesday, blocking a freeway exit for a period of time.

The protests were "angry and loud" but peaceful, he said.

"It's their First Amendment right," he said. "I understand that they don't feel heard. I understand that they're wanting more information."
He said he had seen the video and that it pained him. But he called for patience as the investigation runs its course.

"I saw a man who was distraught, a man who was acting in ways that looked like he was in great pain, and I saw him get gunned down and killed and it broke my heart," he said. "If it was my son, I would be devastated."
