September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Aluminum is a known neurotoxin that destroys cellular metabolism and function. Hundreds of studies link to the ravaging effects of aluminum. The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastoral_counseling

Pastoral counseling is a branch of counseling in which psychologically trained ministers, rabbis, priests, imams, and other persons provide therapy services. Pastoral counselors often integrate modern psychological thought and method with traditional religious training in an effort to address psychospiritual issues in addition to the traditional spectrum of counseling services

What do the scriptures say?

Tit 1:7  For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Tit 1:8  But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Tit 1:9  Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

In the Websters 1828 Dictionary, both pastor and bishop are pretty much the same meaning.

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter!

John 14:
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another COMFORTER, that he may abide with you for ever;
26 But the COMFORTER, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Other Christians can be comfort:

1 Thessalonians 5:
11 Wherefore COMFORT yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, COMFORT the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

Also, does it seem like "Christian counseling" is idolatry, b/c these couples are serving man, and not the Lord? And would this so-called "Christian counselor" NOT be "abstaining himself from all appearance of evil"?(ie-in these counseling sessions, the couples will lay out ALL their "dirty" details)

It would be idolatry if they trust in man rather than God to heal them. But if the person believes the doctor can help if God wills, no. I believe it's about giving credit where it's due, which is to God, not man.

As for "abstain from all appearance of evil", I think that can get to the extreme, in the sense that if you really want to be technical, that verse would mean we should flee the world in general, right? The whole world lies in wickedness, right? So, it's not really like that, to that extreme I don't think. Otherwise we all should be hold up in some remote place completely seperate from the world of unbelievers, and well, that's just not reasonable, nor do I think that is the intent of that verse.

The counselor is in part exhalting himself as an authority, taking a title of sorts. It's taking the high seat in a sense I think. so in that regard, I think this "christian counseling" is just mimicking the world of secular science. just like they offer up their christian version of music, clothing, etc.

Bottom line, it's churchianity in action, in my opinion. But the real tell is in what they are telling people during those sessions, which we of course are not privy to, so there you go.
