The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. Pro-life group’s hidden camera footage shows complicity in ‘sex-selective’ abortions

Live Action says Planned Parenthood and other U.S. abortion providers are willing to assist in the termination of baby girls for pregnant women who choose abortion because they want to have baby boys. And the pro-life abortion watchdog says its video series and a new website will expose it all.

“This was a multi-state, national investigation demonstrating that this is a widespread problem across our country,” Live Action president Lila Rose told The Daily Caller in an interview Monday.

“First of all, the statistics and studies indicate that we are adding to the growing problem across the world of sex-selective targeting of unborn girls for abortion. We are going to be demonstrating — starting with this video from Texas — that the abortion industry in the United States is aiding and abetting this horrific problem.”

The first in what Live Action says is a series of videotaped incidents exposing American abortion facilities’  willingness to assist in sex-selection abortions took place at a South Austin, Texas Planned Parenthood clinic. In the footage, a Planned Parenthood counselor appears to readily assist and advise a Live Action actor who said she was trying to obtain an abortion if her baby is female.

America's war on baby girls

The pro-life investigative group Live Action says its latest probe has found that some Planned Parenthood clinics are willing to do abortions based on the sex of the unborn child.

Live Action is headed by Lila Rose, who tells OneNewsNow their latest probe looks into sex-selective abortions in the United States. She notes that an estimated 160 million preborn girls have been killed through abortion in countries such as China and India. She was asked: Is it happening in America as well?

"We actually went undercover into Planned Parenthood and non-Planned Parenthood abortion clinics across the country, posing the scenario of a late-term, sex-selective abortion of a baby girl," she describes. "And we uncovered -- and we have documented http://www.onenewsnow.com/Business/Default.aspx?id=1605936 -- Planned Parenthood clinics across the board encouraging the late-term abortions of little girls just because they are girls."

ProtectOurGirls.com http://protectourgirls.com/

The U.S. House is to vote today (Wednesday) on a bill that would ban sex-selective abortions nationwide. Rose notes that several countries have banned the practice, but it is completely legal in most of the United States.

"We have documented the abortion industry practicing this, encouraging this," she laments. "So it's about time that legislators send a strong signal to the country and to Planned Parenthood that it's never okay to kill a child just because of their sex."

Four states currently prohibit sex-selection abortions: Arizona, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.

Rose, a guest on American Family Radio's Today's Issues, said a number of researchers who would be considered very liberal and pro-abortion are expressing alarm at sex-selective abortions in the U.S. She says her group intends to release additional undercover videos in a series entitled "Gendercide: Sex-Selection in America."

Pro-Life activist Jill Stanek weighed in on Live Action's undercover video Wednesday during an appearance on Sandy Rios in the Morning on AFRTalk.

"The thing that came out of this [video] was even though Planned Parenthood has said in at least two statements now, since the sting was conducted, that they hate gender bias," stated Stanek. "They said, according to CNN yesterday, gender bias is contrary to everything our organization works for daily in communities across the country. This is false."

Stanek argued the abortion-provider's actions on the video betray their words.

"Planned Parenthood did not just step back and not pass judgment, but it helped facilitate, giving her information on how to get sex-selection testing ... also encouraging this girl to wait until [her] late trimester, until 24 weeks, when a baby is six months old and saying that there is nothing unsafe about a six-month abortion -- which is completely false."

And she believes that after viewing the video, the general public now has more reason to oppose the federally funded abortion-provider.

"Planned Parenthood gaffed in three different areas, according to this video," Stanek noted. "Seventy-seven percent of Americans, according to Susan B. Anthony List, said that they would support a sex-selective ban -- and overwhelmingly, repeatedly, for decades, Americans have polled that they don't like late-term abortions ... even second-trimester abortions ... and they definitely do not like them for elective reasons."

Dems kill bill banning sex-selection abortions...

The House on Thursday rejected a Republican bill that would impose fines and prison terms on doctors who perform abortions for the sole purpose of controlling the gender of the child, a practice known as sex-selective abortion.

The Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA), H.R. 3541, was turned away in a 246-168 vote. While that's a clear majority of the House, Republicans called up the bill under a suspension of House rules, which limits debate and requires a two-thirds majority vote, and in this case, would have required more support from Democrats.

Twenty Democrats voted for the bill, while seven Republicans opposed it. The bill needed roughly 30 more votes for approval.

Suspension votes are normally used for non-controversial bills, but the GOP-backed bill was clearly controversial. Republicans have occasionally put controversial bills on the suspension calendar in an apparent attempt to show that Democrats oppose certain policies.

In some cases, Republicans have rescheduled these bills for regular consideration after they have failed, allowing for passage by a simple majority. But Republicans gave no sign that they would try again with PRENDA.

Earlier in the day, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) indicated that the issue of stopping sex-selective abortion is important enough that the would try again, but he was not specific.

"This is an important issue to the American people," Boehner said to reporters off the floor. "This type of sex selection most Americans find pretty repulsive, and our members feel strongly about it. That's why it is being brought to the floor."

During debate on the bill Wednesday, Republicans said the bill is consistent with the broader U.S. position that sex-selective abortion should be condemned around the world.

"In 2007, the United States spearheaded a U.N. resolution to condemn sex-selective abortion worldwide," said Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), the sponsor of the bill. "Yet, here in the land of the free and the home of the brave, we are the only advanced country left in the world that still doesn't restrict sex-selective abortion in any way."

While some Democrats made it clear that they oppose sex-selective abortion, they indicated that they oppose the bill's enforcement provisions, which they said would put in place an unacceptable limit on women's rights to choose abortion.

"We can all agree that women should not choose to terminate a pregnancy based solely on gender, but this bill criminalizes a legal procedure," Rep. Suzanne Bonamici (D-Ore.) said Thursday afternoon.

"The bill includes a provision that would allow a women's husband or parents, by merely alleging that an abortion is because of gender, to seek injunctive relief to prevent the doctor from performing abortion procedures, sending an incredibly private and personal decision into the courts," Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) added Thursday.

"It is another Republican intrusion into a woman's right to choose," said Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) of the GOP bill on Wednesday. "Women should be able to make such sensitive and private decisions with their families, their doctors and their god, free from the fear of the police."

Republicans voting against the bill were Reps. Justin Amash (Mich.), Charlie Bass (N.H.), Mary Bono Mack (Calif.), Bob Dold (Ill.), Richard Hanna (N.Y.), Nan Hayworth (N.Y.), and Ron Paul (Texas).

Democrats voting for it were Reps. Jason Altmire (Pa.), John Barrow (Ga.), Dan Boren (Okla.), Jim Cooper (Tenn.), Jerry Costello (Ill.), Mark Critz (Pa.), Henry Cuellar (Texas), Joe Donnelly (Ind.), John Garamendi (Calif.), Tim Holden (Pa.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Daniel Lipinski (Ill.), Stephen Lynch (Mass.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Mike McIntyre (N.C.), Collin Peterson (Minn.), Nick Rahall (W.Va.), Silvestre Reyes (Texas), Mike Ross Ark.) and Heath Shuler (N.C.).

What do you think Mark? Have they gone completely over the edge? This stuff is what destroyed Nineveh, Babyon, Sodom, Gomoroh, and the list goes on. Rome and Jerusalem aren't safe either.

In fact, it appears there are major cracks in Vatican City, and Jerusalem has it's own place in prophecy, so as I see it, it wouldn't suprise me to see whole cities collapse around the world, for starters. One here, one over there, kind of like a mudslide. That's when I think the populace starts physically demanding things get fixed, and society just unhinges from there.

And don't forget how our modern-day churches aren't aware of any of this. Yeah, imho, modern-day churchianity has probably gone over the edge the most of all of these groups, even more so than in the OP.

That would be so cool...

Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Butm that is one of the oddest votes ive ever seen. I know they need to kill the babies to keep the sacrifices going, but to sit and claim that Repubs have a war on woman and than stop a Bill that would stop gender selection abortions that are killing girl babies. Just dont get it. But the Lord really needs to rock DC, as in rock the whole place to the ground.

Well, it would be cool in that Jesus fixes things, but not cool to see the demise of so many people.

Yeah, I agree, nothing makes sense in this, which is to me evidence that a double-minded man really is unstable in all his ways!
