This was from 1998, but nonetheless this proves the true colors of these so-called pro-life/pro-family groups's...

http://mphawaii.tripod.com/Religion/KingJamesBible.htm

WASHINGTON D.C. (AP)  - In a somewhat surprising announcement three right wing Christian groups - the Family Research Council, the Christian Coalition and Americans For Truth About Homosexuality - have announced that they were urging their members to cease using the King James Version of the Bible, known as the KJV.

The King James Version was commissioned by King James I of England (also known as James VI of Scotland) and produced in 1611.  Scholars are now fairly certain that James was a homosexual. Biographer David Harris Willson who authored "King James VI and I" is in no doubt.  "Oh, yes. James had a number of 'favorites' such as the Earl of Somerset, and the Duke of Buckingham with whom he undoubtedly had sexual relationships."

Gary Bauer of the Family Research Council, who only days ago announced he was considering a run for the Republican nomination in 2000, has said that Christians should cease using the translation and use instead a more recent version of the Bible such as "The Good News Bible" or the Revised Standard Version.  Speaking at a press conference Gary Bauer said, "I feel uncomfortable that good Christians all over America, and indeed the world, are using a document commissioned by a homosexual.  Anything that has been commissioned by a homosexual has obviously been tainted in some way".

Standing alongside Bauer, Peter LaBarbera of the Washington D.C.-based Americans For Truth About Homosexuality agreed. "The Homosexual has from the earliest times sought to subvert Christianity in many subtle ways - some so subtle that we scarcely notice.  I would ask Christians to check who is responsible for both the translation as well as the editing of their Bibles.  We all need to be vigilant."

Pat Robertson of the Christian Coalition which is based in Virginia sent apologies for not being able to attend the press conference.  In a phone conversation he said, "It is very important that we stand up to the homosexual wherever and whenever he appears."

Has Bauer even READ these OTHER versions Huh It's well documented that 1) A lesbian was on the NIV translation committee, and 2) These other versions have completely deleted SODOMITE.

http://www.jesus-is-lord.com/falwell.htm

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. Luke 6:26

This world is full of compromising sellouts who care more for the praise of men than the praise of God. These people won't stand on nothing. A dear reader who respected Jerry Falwell recently sent me some e-mail along with Falwell's responses to her.

E-MAIL FROM OUR READER
Dear Sis Tracy,

I am forwarding 2 responses to separate letters I sent to Jerry Falwell regarding a comment he made on a recent T.V. show.

He said to the people gathered as he opened his Bible that although he was reading from the KJV, they should follow along "as best they could with whatever version they had available", and added that he was not professing to be a KJV "cult". I was very troubled by this statement. This is not verbatim, but is very close to the original statment.

I sent a letter to him explaining how I had been deceived by the NIV as a new Christian, and even quoted the fallacies I had learned and where to find them.

S-----, it is obvious that someone has led you into false doctrine and a total misunderstanding of the Deity of Christ and other cardinal truths. I would urge you to get a mentor who can teach you the Bible and help you away from the heresy you now endorse. My prayers are with you. Jerry Falwell

Mmmm. Let's see...here Falwell resorts to the tactic that many of the other compromising, tolerant, unity-at-all-costs, ecumenical, non-separated folks do. The lady sent him specific verses and he retorts by calling her a heretick without qualification. What a sellout. Next....

OUR READER:
Dear Sis Tracy,

Here is part 2 of the response, and interestingly enough, he again does not acknowledge the original heresy I spoke of in the NIV, only Bibles prior to 1611 or in other languages. [Editor's note: that's 'cause Falwell is afraid to take a stand.] I wish I'd had the foresight to save the letters I sent to him, so you could see more clearly.

The point here to me is how blatantly he is denying the context of my letter, by completely not seeing the whole point from sqaure one!!! I am so disappointed, I really thought he cared about our Lord's word. The first scripture to come to my mind after this experience is Matt.7:21-23...a man of this magnitude, using this elusive technique with me, makes me leary.

FALWELL'S SECOND E-MAIL TO OUR READER

Subject: Re: TV show- 8/15/98
Date: Mon, 17 Aug 1998 21:50:49 EDT
From: TallOaksVA@aol.com

S-----, I did misunderstand you. I agree...The KJV is the best of the versions, in my opinion. But, I am unwilling to say that all Bibles prior to 1611... or all Bibles in other than the English language... are inferior. God bless.
Jerry Falwell

Didn't nobody ask him about Bibles before 1611 and didn't nobody ask him about foreign language Bibles. The question was about modern ENGLISH corruptions. He is so scared of what people will think of him that he WON'T think straight. He purposely side-steps the issue. Anybody who is looking for the truth, cannot help but see that there ain't no comparison between the King James Bible and the modern corruptions. Mr. Jerry "Sellout" Falwell, instead of evading the issue, you need to take a good look at the facts and stop worrying about what your followers (or should I say customers?) will think or say. Sellout.

Was listening to Worldview Weekend's show from last week, and Brannon House mentioned how a month before Falwell passed away(in 2007), he was calling out the heretical Emergent Church. It was prior to this for years, he was yoking up with these same people(ie-attended a Purpose Driven conference with Rick Warren).

Here are the links...

The 'Emerging Church': Straying from the Gospel

Don't know if Falwell was part of the NWO team all along, but either way, he may have realized the errors of his ways, and repented of them late in his life. It wasn't only this article he wrote, but he also preached a sermon exposing the EC at his campus as well. He died shortly afterwards.

Anyhow - it's sad to see alot of these pastors straying away from the truth - not just turning toward this Postmodernism nonsense, but much worse straying away from the AV1611. Can't tell you how many times these pastors would say sporadically during their sermons "But the King James says this...", but primarily preach out of some other corrupt version of their liking. It's as if they've turned themselves into used car salesmen trying to grab at the air for words.

Eze 18:24  But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
Eze 18:25  Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
Eze 18:26  When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
Eze 18:27  Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
Eze 18:28  Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

bump

Another ploy from the Jesuits - get controlled-opposition groups like the religious right/moral majority to expose ONLY certain enemies(abortion, gay marriage, and p0rnography), and then they quietly point you to bigger evils(in this case, getting you away from the KJV and into the Vatican versions NIV, NKJV, etc).

A very subtle bait and switch ploy from them.

Saw this on Yahoo - for the most part, you can't deny that the Millenials' Baby Boomer (professing Christian)parents handed down these corrupted bible versions to them. This "generation gap" b/w them doesn't surprise me at all.

http://news.yahoo.com/8-differences-between-boomers-millennials-140843070.html
8 Differences Between Boomers and Millennials
5/20/14

When the baby boomers were kids there was a generation gap. We boomers believed in long hair; our parents wanted us to cut our hair. We voted for Kennedy, Johnson and McGovern. They liked Ike and supported Richard Nixon. We wanted to turn on, tune in and drop out. They wanted us to go to school and get a job.

Of course that's an oversimplification of the early days of the baby boom. But there are some generalizations about today's baby boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) and our children, the millennials (born between 1981 and 1995), that are more grounded in fact. Paul Taylor of the Pew Research Center has written a book called "The Next America" which relies on public opinion surveys and demographic data to highlight some of the contrasts between the generations. Here are some of the major differences between baby boomers and millennials:

1. It's true that people get more conservative as they age. According to Pew Research, 59 percent of baby boomers favor smaller government. Millennials exhibit no more trust in the establishment than baby boomers did, yet the majority of millennials, 53 percent, say they want a bigger government that offers more services.

2. The generations basically agree on Social Security. Despite their preference for small government, boomers oppose making cuts in Social Security to secure the long-term future of the program. Millennials are slightly more open to Social Security reforms, with 37 percent thinking some reductions to Social Security need to be considered, compared to just 29 percent of baby boomers. But for many Millennials it's a moot point. Half of millennials don't believe they will receive Social Security when they retire.

3. Millennials are more progressive on social issues. According to Pew Research, baby boomers oppose gay marriage by a slim margin. But a solid majority (68 percent) of millennials support gay marriage. An equal number support the legalization of marijuana. Millennials are less likely to be religious. Less than 70 percent of millennials say they are affliliated with a particular religion, compared to 80 percent of the general population.

4. But they are not necessarily Democrats. Despite a more liberal bent, millennials are reluctant to identify with a political party. Half of millennials say they are Independents, compared to 27 percent registered as Democrats and 17 percent as Republicans. Some 70 percent approved of President Obama when he was first elected president, but that support has declined to about 50 percent.

**These "truth" movement types like Ron and Rand Paul have infiltrated college campuses too.

5. Millennials are less affluent. This generation is the first in U.S. history to enter adulthood in worse economic shape than their parents. The unemployment rate for millennials is higher than it was for their parents at the same age, and they have higher student debt. A new Pew Research report says 37 percent of U.S. households headed by an adult younger than 40 have student debt. Households with student loans have a median net worth of $8,700 compared to $64,700 for households without student debt.

6. Millennials are reluctant to get married. But when they do, they are more likely to marry someone of a different race. Back in the 1960s, less than 3 percent of marriages were between people of different races or ethnicities. Today, it's 15 percent. More than a quarter of Asians and Hispanics marry outside their ethnicity, as do one out of six African Americans and 10 percent of whites. Half of millennials say intermarriage is a good thing for society, compared with a third of boomers.

7. But maybe they do want to buy a home. Millennials have flocked to the cities. But the jury is still out as to whether millennials will move back to the suburbs when they get married and have children. According to a study by the National Association of Realtors, fewer than 25 percent of 30 year olds own their own home, compared to 80 percent for boomers, and the number of young homeowners has been declining. Yet according to the Washington think tank NDN, 64 percent of millennials say it is "very important" to own their own home. Another survey by TD Bank found that 84 percent of renters ages 18 to 34 intend to purchase a house in the future.

8. More millennials live at home than their parents did at the same age. More than a fifth (22 percent) of households currently have two or more adult generations living under the same roof, a level not seen since the end of World War II. But while this is a symptom of the new generation gap, it does not mean there's a war between the generations. "It's hard to wage a war when you're living under the same roof," Taylor says.

You can't deny that these many corrupt bible versions that recent current generations have been exposed to have played a big role.

http://news.yahoo.com/younger-members-split-gop-social-issues-150151163.html
Younger members split with GOP on social issues
5/25/14

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — At a recent meeting, the Tampa Bay Young Republicans recited the Pledge of Allegiance, prayed and then tackled the night's topic: marijuana.

Their guest? Personal injury lawyer John Morgan, a huge Democratic Party donor campaigning to legalize medical marijuana in Florida. Months earlier, the same group supported a Supreme Court opinion that was a victory for gay marriage advocates even as Republican leaders insisted marriage should be between only a man and a woman.

The group illustrates a growing generational divide in the GOP as younger Republicans increasingly break rank from the establishment on social issues. In Alabama, a college Republican group leader was nearly kicked out of the party for supporting gay marriage. The successful push to legalize gay marriage in Minnesota was backed by several prominent younger Republicans. And in Colorado, the spokesman for a group that pushed to legalize marijuana was a Republican activist. Perhaps only in opposing abortion are most young Republicans nationally as conservative socially as older members.

"We've grown up in a time where everything's much more open. We want to talk about more things," Tampa Bay Young Republicans president Anibal Cabrera said. "We're willing to listen to the other point of view. We're willing to have an opposite opinion."

Whether the split on social issues forces the GOP to change its platform or risk alienating younger voters probably won't be answered until after the 2016 presidential election, said Matthew Corrigan, a University of North Florida political science professor. He said one thing to watch is support for Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, the son of former Texas Rep. Ron Paul, who is mixing a libertarian message with a more moderate outreach to Republicans.

"It's unsettled," Corrigan said. "If the nominee of the Republican Party signals less of an emphasis on social issues than in years past, that leaves an opening for these young Republicans who may have more libertarian leanings, but there's a lot of seniors within the party that I don't think are ready to give up on those positions."

While Republicans nationally have struggled to recruit younger voters, women and minorities, the Tampa group says welcoming socially liberal as well as conservative members has helped swell its ranks from seven to 200 members in less than a year. Executive director Lacey Wickline said the party establishment could learn from the approach, but instead has largely ignored the group.

"We're doing something right. We've got the energy, we're trying to do what's right by our party, and where's the support?" Wickline said. "If you're really trying to target the under 40 demographic, there's only one place to turn — that's us."

Part of the shift among younger Republicans is growing up in an era where gay rights, pot smoking and other issues are more acceptable, even among conservatives.

"We grew up on 'Will and Grace' and our parents grew up on 'All in the Family,'" said Stephanie Petelos, the chairman of the College Republican Federation of Alabama who was almost banished from her party for supporting gay marriage.

Alabama Republican Party Chairman Bill Armistead said there may be some differing opinions among younger Republicans, but he still feels most support the party platform. Those interviewed noted even young Republicans tend to be anti-abortion. And Armistead pointed out that the man elected to replace Petelos after she graduated firmly supports traditional marriage.

"It was very disruptive for the previous college chairman to advocate a position that's contradictory to our state position and our national platform," Armistead said. "It did not represent the majority of college Republicans, yet she used her position to advocate her personal opinions, which is unfortunate."

Beyond being a generational issue, young Republicans say their positions stem from the party's belief that government shouldn't intrude on people's lives. Ron Paul's 2012 presidential campaign got most of its following from younger Republicans attracted by his libertarian message that allowed for gay marriage and the legalization of marijuana.

"When it comes to issues like gay marriage or marijuana legalization, younger Republicans often find themselves asking, 'Why is government involved in this at all?'" said Alex Holzbach, a Tallahassee-based Republican political consultant who served as president of the Florida State University College Republicans before graduating this year. "It's really just a realization that the party's current status quo against some of these issues is in direct conflict with our belief in smaller, less intrusive government. "

He and Petelos said they are Republicans because they believe the party is stronger on economic issues, and both said the GOP's position on social issues made it harder to recruit college students.

"It's just a little bit harder to get into what the Fed did last week than it is for equality for one of your best friends from high school," Petelos said.

The economy is especially relevant when recruiting students staring down college loan debt and a tough job market, said Young Republican National Federation Chairman Jason Weingartner.

"It's often the Democrats that are trying to shake the narrative so that we go back to discussing predominantly social issues so it will distract from the current economic climate," he said.
