Turkey’s Erdogan: Israeli settlement push an ‘absolute provocation’

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Monday condemned Israel’s decision to ramp up settlements in the West Bank as an “absolute provocation”. Israel announced plans last month for 3,000 more settlement homes in the West Bank. It has also retroactively legalized about 4,000 settlement homes built on privately owned Palestinian land, a move that brought condemnation from the United Nations and the European Union.

Left-wing lawmaker challenges coalition, submits ‘Annexation Bill’

Ministers must explain to the public how Israel will look in 20 years without any political solution on the horizon, said Zionist Union MK Ayelet Nachmias-Verbin. Earlier this week, the opposition lawmaker, who has supported a two-state solution, submitted a bill that suggested annexing area C of the West Bank and applying Israeli law and sovereignty there. “Does the Israeli government want to rule over Palestinians or does it want a Jewish and democratic state?” said Nachmias-Verbin on Friday.

SENIOR FATAH OFFICIAL NABIL SHAATH SAYS THAT DEPLOYING TERRORISM IS HOW A PALESTINIAN STATE WILL BE CREATED

The Fatah official then told his Palestinian audience, “Your cause is just. You are occupied. Your land was stolen. Your rights were taken. Therefore, I’ve never seen any problem with carrying out the armed struggle while diplomatic and political activity supporting your cause is being carried out.”

A SENIOR OFFICIAL FROM PALESTINIAN PRESIDENT MAHMOUD ABBAS’ FATAH PARTY SANCTIONED “ARMED STRUGGLE” – A EUPHEMISM FOR TERROR – AS THE “INDISPUTABLE” RIGHT OF PALESTINIANS IN ORDER TO “LIBERATE OUR HOMELAND.”
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Why is there no peace between the Jordanian Palestinians and the Jews? As you will see here, Palestinians not only say that they should have Jerusalem, they go so far to say that the entire land of Israel is really Palestinian territory. Senior Fatah leader Nabil Shaath says that the “only way” there will be peace is when the Jews get out of Israel. Actually, Mr. Shaath, the Bible says it will be you and the Muslims who will be forced to vacate the Holy Land.

“Our cause is just. Our right to the armed struggle is an indisputable right. The Israelis didn’t come here through negotiations. They did not come at our request. They are usurpers who came with weapons to murder and tried to expel [us],” Nabil Shaath said in an interview with Fatah-run Awdah TV last month, translated by Israeli monitoring group Palestinian Media Watch.

Shaath, who served as Palestinian Foreign Minister, called for the creation of a “Palestinian Arab democratic state” in which Jews, Muslims and Christians live together, thereby eliminating the Jewish state altogether.

FATAH LEADER NABIL SHAATH: THE ARMED STRUGGLE IS OUR RIGHT

“The Israelis succeeded in expelling a large part of our people by force. Therefore, our right to the armed struggle is indisputable,” Shaath said. “We are humane people. We want to liberate our homeland. After we liberate our homeland, we will have no problem with living in a democratic state in which Jews, Muslims and Christians live – in a Palestinian Arab democratic state.”

The Fatah official then told his Palestinian audience, “Your cause is just. You are occupied. Your land was stolen. Your rights were taken. Therefore, I’ve never seen any problem with carrying out the armed struggle while diplomatic and political activity supporting your cause is being carried out.”

Nikki Haley slams United Nations for anti-Israeli double standards
Carlos Garcia

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley gave a very strong statement condemning the United Nations for their anti-Israel bias and double standards against America’s Middle East ally. She made her comments to the press shortly after attending her first Security Council meeting Monday.

“The first thing I want to do is talk about what we just saw in there,” Haley began. “The Security Council just finished its regular monthly meeting on Middle East issues. It’s the first meeting like that that I’ve attended, and I have to say it was a bit strange.”

The Security Council is supposed to discuss how to maintain international peace and security. But at our meeting on the Middle East, the discussion was not about Hezbollah’s illegal build-up of rockets in Lebanon. It was not about the money and weapons Iran provides to terrorists. It was not about how we defeat ISIS. It was not about how we hold Bashar al-Assad accountable for the slaughter of hundreds and thousands of civilians. No, instead, the meeting focused on criticizing Israel, the one true democracy in the Middle East. I am new around here, but I understand that’s how the Council has operated, month after month, for decades.

I’m here to say the United States will not turn a blind eye to this anymore. I am here to underscore the ironclad support of the United States for Israel. I’m here to emphasize the United States is determined to stand up to the UN’s anti-Israel bias. We will never repeat the terrible mistake of Resolution 2334 and allow one-sided Security Council resolutions to condemn Israel. Instead, we will push for action on the real threats we face in the Middle East.

United Nations Resolution 2334 is the controversial policy that the United States abstained from vetoing as one of the last acts of former President Obama before the inauguration. Under that resolution, the United Nations formally condemned the settlements that Israel built in contested lands claimed by the Palestinians.

“We stand for peace,” Haley continued.

We support a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is negotiated directly between the two parties, as President Trump reiterated in his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu yesterday. The outrageously biased resolutions from the Security Council and the General Assembly only make peace harder to attain by discouraging one of the parties from going to the negotiating table.

Incredibly, the UN Department of Political Affairs has an entire division devoted to Palestinian affairs. Imagine that. There is no division devoted to illegal missile launches from North Korea. There is no division devoted to the world’s number one state-sponsor of terror, Iran. The prejudiced approach to Israeli-Palestinian issues does the peace process no favors. And it bears no relationship to the reality of the world around us.

“It is the UN’s anti-Israel bias that is long overdue for change,” Haley concluded. “The United States will not hesitate to speak out against these biases in defense of our friend and ally, Israel.”

The statement follows up on Haley’s announcement that the United States would take notice of what supposed allies did not back us sufficiently at the United Nations, and would make an appropriate response. Haley also signaled at her confirmation hearing that she would not absolutely follow President Trump’s policies as promised on the campaign Trump when she said that she was opposed to the “Muslim ban” and that part of their mission was to “educate” Trump about the benefits of the United Nation.

Trump had promised to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move that would enflame Muslim passions because it signals the preeminence of the Jewish claim over the ancient holy city. Trump has since distanced himself from moving the embassy and the Israeli settlements after becoming president.

I Expect US Embassy in Jerusalem Soon, Defense Minister Liberman Tells VP Pence

The comment came on the heels of a factfinding mission by two Republican senators to Jerusalem last weekend. The members of the House Subcommittee on National Security affirmed during the trip, which included scouting locations for the embassy, that President Donald Trump would not veto the Jerusalem Embassy Act when it comes up for review again in May.

Arab League Warns: Us Embassy Move Is ‘Serious Threat To World Peace’

One day after Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman met with US Vice President Mike Pence, the Arab League on Wednesday voted unanimously in Cairo for a resolution blocking the proposed relocation of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. “The establishment of any diplomatic mission in Jerusalem, or transfer of one to the city, is an explicit assault on the rights of the Palestinian people and all Muslims and Christians, and a serious violation of international law,” the League said.

UN Leader’s Support for Jewish Temple a ‘Breath of Fresh Air’

“It is completely clear the Temple that the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple,” Guterres said…..so it is particularly outrageous that the UN has been hijacked by Israel’s enemies to delegitimize the Jewish state.”

Israel Closes Southern Border With Egypt After Warning Of Imminent Passover Terror Attack From ISIS
The border closure comes a day after militants in Egypt bombed two churches, killing dozens of Christian worshippers during Palm Sunday ceremonies. In the wake of those attacks, Israel's anti-terrorism office called on all Israeli tourists in Sinai to return home immediately and asked Israelis planning trips to the Sinai to cancel.

4/10/17

Israel closed its Taba border crossing to the Sinai peninsula on Monday following warnings by its anti-terrorism office of an “imminent” militant attack there and urged its citizens to leave Egypt hours before the start of the Passover holiday, when Sinai is a popular destination for many secular Israelis.

Soon after the announcement, sirens wailed in parts of southern Israel alerting residents to a rocket attack. The military said a rocket fired from Sinai exploded in southern Israel, hitting a greenhouse but causing no injuries. The Islamic State group later claimed responsibility for the attack.

Yisrael Katz, Israel’s transportation and intelligence minister, said in a statement Monday there was intel regarding a potential “terror attack” against tourists in the Sinai peninsula. The crossing remains open for those wanting to return from Egypt.

5/2/17
UNESCO Passes Resolution ‘Occupied Palestine’ Disavows Israeli Sovereignty In Jerusalem In 22-10 Vote
The UNESCO resolution calls on Israel to rescind any “legislative and administrative measures and actions” it has taken to “alter the character and status” of Jerusalem. It rejects the idea of a “basic law” in Jerusalem, based off of a 1980 Knesset law, which implies that the city is one unified whole and governed solely by Israel.

The United Nations’ cultural agency UNESCO voted to condemn Israel’s sovereignty in Jerusalem in 22-10 vote on resolution ‘Occupied Palestine’

“Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people. And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all. And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost. So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight. And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.” 1 Chronicles 21:22-16 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: The word Jerusalem appears 811 times in your King James Bible, and clearly shows the Jewish connection to it. Not only that, the Bible also records the day where King David purchased the threshing floor of Ornan that became the site of Solomon’s Temple to the LORD in Jerusalem. So the idea that the United Nations could pass a resolution condemning the Jewish control of Jerusalem is beyond absurd – it’s satanic. UN please take note that the LORD is watching everything and is preparing His soon response to your actions. You can read about it in Zephaniah 3:8 (KJV) if you’re interested.

The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization — passed a resolution called “Occupied Palestine” by a vote of 22-10, with 26 countries abstaining or absent, on Tuesday.

The resolution calls on Israel to rescind any “legislative and administrative measures and actions” it has taken to “alter the character and status” of Jerusalem. It rejects the idea of a “basic law” in Jerusalem, based off of a 1980 Knesset law, which implies that the city is one unified whole and governed solely by Israel.

On the Anniversary of Israel's Founding, UNESCO Offers a 'Gift'

As millions of Israeli and diaspora Jews marked Israel's 69th Independence Day, the United Nations cultural body UNESCO voted Tuesday to adopt its latest resolution denying Jewish ties to Jerusalem.

The resolution—which passed in a 22-10 vote, with 23 abstentions—states that "all legislative and administrative measures and actions taken by Israel, the occupying Power, which have altered or purport to alter the character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem, and in particular the 'basic law' on Jerusalem, are null and void and must be rescinded forthwith."

The 10 countries voting against the resolution were the U.S., U.K., Italy, Netherlands, Lithuania, Greece, Paraguay, Ukraine, Togo and Germany. Among those voting in favor of the measure were Brazil, China, Egypt, Iran, Russia, South Africa and Sweden.

Italy was the only European Union country to publicly oppose the resolution ahead of the vote.

"Our opinion is very clear," Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano said. "UNESCO cannot be the place for a permanent ideological confrontation."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday, "There is no nation in the world for whom Jerusalem is more holy than for the Jewish people," adding that UNESCO "is trying to bury this truth. We will uphold it."

Israel's Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon called the resolution "distorted" and "shameful," and said it will "not change the fact that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people."

http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/ahead-trump-visit-netanyahu-declares-jerusalem-embassies-especially-us/
Ahead Of Trump Visit, Netanyahu Declares All Embassies, Especially The US, Should Be In Jerusalem
The remark came less than two weeks ahead of the expected visit of US President Donald Trump, who during his presidential campaign last year, promised to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a potential move he has distanced himself from since his election in November.

5/12/17

Ahead of Trump visit, Netanyahu says Jerusalem is eternal capital of Israel and embassies should be relocated there

“And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.” Isaiah 31:9 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Just mere days before President Trump is scheduled to visit Israel, on the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem, PM Netanyahu said that the US Embassy, as well as all other nation’s embassy, should be moved to Jerusalem. Is Trump heading to Israel to announce the prophecy infused and game-changing move? He will be in Israel May 22-23, after stopping in Saudi Arabia and before he goes on to the Vatican.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that all foreign embassies in Israel should be located in Jerusalem, chief among them the American embassy.

Speaking at a Likud event on Thursday, Netanyahu said Jerusalem is the “eternal capital of the Israeli people and it is fitting that all embassies, especially that of our friend the United States, be moved the Jerusalem.”

The remark came less than two weeks ahead of the expected visit of US President Donald Trump, who during his presidential campaign last year, promised to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a potential move he has distanced himself from since his election in November.
Netanyahu: US Embassy Should Move to Jerusalem

Israel considers Jerusalem its undivided capital while the Palestinians want East Jerusalem, including the Old City, as the capital of a future state. The international community has never recognized Israel’s annexation of East Jerusalem after Israel captured it in 1967.
Most foreign embassies in Israel are in Tel Aviv, with some nations also maintaining consulate-generals in Jerusalem.

The possible relocation of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is still said to be under consideration amid contradictory reports that a decision was made against the idea and rumors that the US president may announce the move during his expected trip to Israel later this month.
Donald Trump Promises To Move Embassy From Tel Aviv To Jerusalem:

“The president has not made a decision yet and is still reviewing that,”White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters on Wednesday at the daily press briefing.

Sanders was asked about a report on the Hebrew-language news site NRG that implied Israeli sources were notified Trump had decided against moving the embassy and would sign a waiver in June blocking implementation of a longstanding Congressional mandate ordering the relocation.

Every president since the 1995 law has exercised their right to sign that waiver — including Barack Obama and his predecessors George W. Bush and Bill Clinton — every six months.
Since rumors of the president’s upcoming visit to the region surfaced, speculation has grown that Trump may announce the embassy move in the Jewish state.

Trump’s trip, which was officially announced last week, comes just before Jerusalem Day, when Israel will celebrate 50 years since capturing the city’s eastern neighborhoods and holy sites in the Six Day War.

HOW DONALD TRUMP MOVING THE U.S. EMBASSY FROM TEL AVIV TO JERUSALEM COULD TRIGGER THE PSALM 83 WAR

He will be in Israel May 22-23, after stopping in Saudi Arabia and before he goes on to the Vatican. He will also travel to Brussels and Sicily for NATO and G7 summits on the final leg of his first foreign trip.

Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) publicly mused two weeks ago that Trump would use his visit to announce the relocation of the US Embassy.

“What better time could there be to announce the relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem than when you are over here celebrating with our Israeli friends this very important 50th anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem?” he said. source

Trump's Approval Rating With Jewish Israelis Plummets As He Won't Commit To Embassy Move Promise • Now The End Begins

President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Jewish Israelis has dropped by 23 percentage points since he took office in January

“And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Candidate Trump told prospective Jewish and Christian voters that his promise to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv was “100% guaranteed” to take place shortly after he became president. This platform promises is one of the main reasons why Christians and Jews voted for him.  In a few days, President Trump will give a speech in Israel, in Jerusalem, and his spokespeople are playing coy. Why did God allow Trump to win the election against all odds? To keep this promise. The president should choose wisely, very wisely. The Bible says that God “setteth up kings”, He also removes them as well.

One possible factor: the absence of a firm decision as to whether he will move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as promised.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the poll, conducted by Smith Research was released on Thursday and found that only 56% of 500 Jewish Israelis who were polled said they considered the Trump administration more pro-Israel than pro-Palestinian. That figure is down from 79% on January 11.

Jewish Israelis do not think Trump has turned against them, however. The poll also found only a one percentage point increase in those who consider the Trump administration to be more pro-Palestinian, rising from 3% to 4%.
Donald Trump Promises To Move Embassy From Tel Aviv To Jerusalem:

“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3 (KJV)

The poll reportedly had a margin of error of 4.5%. Another poll will be taken after Trump’s Israel visit. The Jerusalem Post notes that Trump will need to work to convince Israelis that he is on their side during his visit to the Holy Land next week.

Also on Thursday, a White House official told Breitbart News that it does not expect to announce plans to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, despite Trump’s campaign promise to do so.

“There’s no planned announcement for the embassy on the trip,” the White House official said. However, the official reportedly cautioned that the plan could change. Separately, the Post reported Thursday that a decision on the embassy could take place after Trump’s visit.

Palestinian Officials To Withdraw Recognition Of Israel If Trump Moves US Embassy | NBC Nightly News:

Despite the absence of confirmation or a solid plan for the potential embassy move, Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has toured several sites in Jerusalem to decide which is best for the relocation. He has also expressed his confidence that the move will ultimately take place.

During a Jerusalem Unity Day event at the Capitol on Wednesday, DeSantis said, “I’m not necessarily predicting that that’s going to happen, but I think if you’re ever going to do it, with all the celebrations that are going to be going on next week, just think of how much energy this would ad to that; not only in Israel, but here in the United States, for the millions and millions of Americans who would like to see this happen.”

He added, “moving the embassy there [to Jerusalem] is a great statement to say Israel is here to stay.” source

NTEB EXCLUSIVE: Sources Tell Us President Trump Will Sign Waiver Postponing The US Embassy Move To Jerusalem
President Trump promised during his campaign to move the embassy, a policy embodied both in federal law and the Republican Party platform. But since he came into office, Trump’s promise seems to have lost some momentum.

5/30/17

On Thursday, President Barack Obama’s last waiver pursuant to the Jerusalem Embassy Act will expire. Absent a new waiver by President Trump, the provisions of the law will go into full effect. Trump promised during his campaign to move the embassy, a policy embodied both in federal law and the Republican Party platform. But since he came into office, Trump’s promise seems to have lost some momentum.

“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: We were able to confirm through contact with Rep. Ron DeSantis’ office in Washington that the event mentioned below is scheduled to take place on June 7th, 2017, and that it is by invitation only. And sadly, we were also able to confirm that it is “highly likely” and a “very safe bet” that President Trump will follow in the footsteps of Obama, Bush and Clinton and sign the waiver on June 2nd delaying the transfer of the US Embassy to Jerusalem. This is one story that I hope and pray we have to issue a retraction on. Keep your promise, President Trump, and move that embassy to Jerusalem now!

The Knesset and the Congress will jointly mark 50 years since the reunification of Jerusalem in an event scheduled to be broadcast on live video link between the two legislatures next Tuesday. The move could be viewed as tacit recognition by the White House of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and spark controversy.

Sources told The Jerusalem Post that either President Donald Trump or Vice President Mike Pence will participate in the event on Capitol Hill, alongside Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, its host. In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein will take part from the Knesset. All members of Knesset and both houses of Congress have been invited to the event, which was organized by Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer.
Celebrating 50 Years of Jerusalem’s Reunification in Congress:

While the US does not officially recognize Israeli sovereignty in the parts of Jerusalem that Israel liberated in 1967, White House participation in the event could be viewed as tacit acknowledgment of Israel’s position regarding Jerusalem. The event comes after Trump became the first sitting US president to visit the Western Wall during his trip here last week but held back from making any mention of Jerusalem Day, celebrated the day after he left the country.
The event comes along with a strong push from Jerusalem to recognize the city as Israel’s capital.

Netanyahu called on the US and all other countries to move their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem. Education Minister Naftali Bennett and Jerusalem Affairs Minister Ze’ev Elkin both asked Trump to recognize the capital during his visit to Israel last week.

While Trump did neither of those things, he mentioned the millennia of Jewish history in Jerusalem during his address at the Israel Museum. source

Stunning! Senate OKs U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem resolution 90-to-0

The U.S. Senate, in an extremely rare moment of action without any opposition, has adopted a resolution calling on President Trump to abide by a 1995 law that calls for the U.S. Embassy to be in Jerusalem.

The vote was 90-0, with Democratic Sens. Michael Bennet of Colorado, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Jeff Merkley of Oregon and Dan Sullivan of Alaska not voting, along with Republicans Jeff Flake of Arizona, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.

While the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 calls for the move to Jerusalem, which would be seen worldwide as a resounding affirmation of Israel’s historic claim to Jerusalem, it also provides a waiver the president can sign every six months if he determines the move might harm national security.

The waiver has been employed by both Democratic and Republican presidents ever since, including President Trump just days ago.

However, Trump renewed his commitment to moving the embassy, explaining the timing is not right.

So while the call for the law to be followed is seen by many as a call for the establishment of the embassy in Jerusalem, technically it simply states that the law should be followed.

Now the senators, in a 90-0 vote, have commemorated the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six-Day War by adopting S. Res. 176.

The resolution states:

Be it resolved, that the Senate (1) recognizes the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem and extends its friendship and hopes for peace to the residents of Jerusalem and the people of Israel; (2) reaffirms its support for Israel’s commitment to religious freedom and administration of holy sites in Jerusalem; (3) continues to support strengthening the mutually beneficial American-Israeli relationship; (4) commends Egypt and Jordan, former combatant states of the Six Day War, who in subsequent years embraced a vision of peace and coexistence with Israel and have continued to uphold their respective peace agreements; (5) reaffirms that it is the longstanding, bipartisan policy of the United States Government that the permanent status of Jerusalem remains a matter to be decided between the parties through final status negotiations towards a two-state solution; and (6) reaffirms the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 (Public Law 104–45) as United States law, and calls upon the President and all United States officials to abide by its provisions.

The resolution also points out Jerusalem has been the focal point of Jewish religious devotion for 3,000 years.

WND reported one week ago when Trump, following a provision of the 1995 law, signed a waiver delaying the embassy move for another six months.

Netanyahu said he was disappointed that the U.S. Embassy, now in Tel Aviv, will not move to Jerusalem immediately. But he’s grateful that Trump has committed to doing exactly that in the future.

“Though Israel is disappointed that the embassy will not move at this time, we appreciate today’s expression of President Trump’s friendship to Israel and his commitment to moving the Embassy in the future,” a statement from Netanyahu’s office said.

“Maintaining embassies outside the capital drives peace further away by helping keep alive the Palestinian fantasy that the Jewish people and the Jewish state have no connection to Jerusalem,” he said.

srael, he said, believes “that the American Embassy, like the embassies of all countries with whom we have diplomatic relations, should be in Jerusalem, our eternal capital.”

While Trump signed the waiver, a statement on the White House website explaining his reasoning.

“No one should consider this step to be in any way a retreat from the president’s strong support for Israel and for the United States-Israel alliance,”  the White House said. “President Trump made this decision to maximize the chances of successfully negotiating a deal between Israel and the Palestinians, fulfilling his solemn obligation to defend America’s national security interests. But, as he has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy, the question is not if that move happens, but only when.”

Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama all had used such waivers.

On Oct. 23, 1995, Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and requiring the U.S. Embassy to be moved there by May 31, 1999. The law passed the Senate by 93-5 and the House by 374-37. Yet, Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama each signed the waiver provision every six months, citing national security concerns.

The move by Trump brought disappointment to the large constituency of evangelical Christians who support Israel.

Penny Nance, CEO of Concerned Women for America, immediately released a statemet: “CWA’s members are very disappointed that the president chose to sign the waiver in direct contradiction to his campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. In 1967, Arab armies declared war on Israel. Until that time, Jordan had occupied east Jerusalem for 20 years, destroyed most synagogues, and did not allow religious freedom. Israel won the 1967 war and liberated east Jerusalem, thus re-uniting their ancient, 3,000-year-old capital. Under the Israelis, Muslims, Christians, and Jews enjoy religious freedom.”

She pointed out: “Israel is the only country in the world that does not have the U.S. Embassy in its own designated capital. It’s an unjust anomaly. We believe it is a mistake to tie the U.S. Embassy move to any possible peace agreement, since Palestinians remain unwilling to negotiate directly with Israel.”

Nance said that both U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S., Ron Dermer, said in her presence the move is 50 years overdue.

She pointed out that 81 percent of evangelicals voted for President Trump, and the vast majority also support the Jerusalem Embassy Act.

“In December we will once again ask the president to keep his word when this waiver expires,” she said.

Mat Staver, chief counsel of Liberty Counsel, had encouraged Trump to not sign the waiver.

Just before the waiver signing, he explained: “Congress signed the Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1999. Eighteen years waiting is more than enough. It is beyond time for the United States to move the Embassy to Jerusalem. To not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel contradicts the Bible, history, present-day reality, and is anti-Semitic.”

Eugene Kontorovich wrote at the Volokh Conspiracy blog that while the decision to sign a waiver at this point certainly is a disappointment for Trump supporters, “it will not be the end of the show.”

“He will have seven more waivers ahead, with mounting pressure as his term progresses. Under Obama, speculation focused on what actions he would take or allow against Israel (and even these waited until very late in his second term).”

He explained the waiver “does not waive the obligation to move the embassy.”

“That policy has been fully adopted by Congress in the Act (sec. 3(a)(3)) and is not waiveable. Of course, Congress cannot simply order the president to implement such a move, especially given his core constitutional power over diplomatic relations.”

WND reported last month when Christian leaders representing 60 million members of the faith across America sent the president a letter asking him to move the embassy.

The non-profit Liberty Counsel reports the letter called for the move – which was directed by Congress in 1995 – to be made “at long last.”

The letter, signed by about five dozen Christian leaders, stated, “The time has come, at long last, to uphold American law by moving the U.S. Embassy to Israel’s eternal indivisible capital city of Jerusalem.”

“The Republican National Convention’s official 2016 platform rightly stated, ‘We recognize Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state and call for the American embassy to be moved there in fulfillment of U.S. law. Moreover, we were honored and grateful that you pledged to specifically uphold this policy in response to a request from the American Christian Leaders for Israel coalition during your campaign. Many of our constituents cast their vote for you due to this commitment,'” the letter said.

Al Aqsa Imam: Western Wall Belongs Only to Muslims
In another egregious step towards claiming the whole of Jerusalem for the Muslim world, two Arab leaders said on Friday that the Western Wall, or Kotel, belongs exclusively to the Muslims.

Palestinians to claim Tomb of Patriarchs on UN World Heritage List
The World Heritage Committee is set to debate inscribing the Old City of Hebron – including its Tomb of the Patriarchs – to the “State of Palestine” when it meets from July 2 to 12 in Krakow, Poland. “This is a new front in the war over the holy places that the Palestinians are trying to ignite as part of their propaganda campaign against Israel and the history of the Jewish people,” Israel’s Ambassador to UNESCO Carmel Shama HaCohen told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday.

UN Blames Israel for Palestinian Men Beating Wives [Watch]

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on Monday was presented with a report citing rampant violence and abuse targeting women in the Palestinian Authority and reacted decisively by…condemning Israel.

At the 35th session of the Human Rights Council, Ms. Dubravka Šimonović, Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women, presented her findings from a visit to Israel in September, when she also toured areas under control of the Palestinian Authority. Her report to the UNHRC focused on the “gendered impact of the occupation”. She cites a , “clear link between prolonged occupation and gender based violence”, blaming the blame for violence against Palestinian women by Palestinian men entirely on Israel.

The plight of Palestinian women is indeed dire. One third of married Palestinian women in Judea and Samaria and over half in Gaza have been subjected to domestic violence.

The Rapporteur  made specific mention of the IDF at checkpoints as a source of abuse against Palestinian women requiring UN intervention. In fact, 3.3% of married women report being exposed to psychological violence at barriers and inspection points from soldiers, while 0.6% report exposure to physical violence, and 0.2% report sexual harassment.

The extreme plight of Palestinian women makes the obfuscation by the UNHRC even more egregious. While calling for an end to the “Israeli occupation”, the Rapporteur  decried the rise in femicides, while failing to mention that so-called ‘honor killings’ targeting women were specific to Islamic culture and the influence of Israel has decreased this horrific crime. When Israel dismantled the Jewish communities in Gush Katif, the number of femicides in Gaza rose dramatically.

UN Watch,  a non-governmental organization who monitors the performance of the United Nations, had a representative overseeing the proceedings. Hillel Neuer addressed the council, noting that the conclusion of the report was  that, “when Palestinian men beat their wives, it’s Israel’s fault.”

He challenged Ms. Šimonović’s assertion that a link existed between Israel’s presence and violence against women.

“How do you know there is a ‘clear linkage’?” Neuer asked. “Where is the data? I don’t see it anywhere in the report.”

Neuer also decried the assertion as an injustice to the Palestinians.

“Is it right to continue infantilizing Palestinians, such that when a man in Ramallah beats his wife, we encourage him to say ‘Israel made me do it’?” Neuer stated.

“Why did you fail to mention that official Palestinian TV regularly broadcasts Islamic preachers who tell the people how to beat their wives?” he said, citing several examples. “The hitting is a kind of reminder that the love and friendship that Allah commanded is still found between the couple,” Neuer said, quoting a Mufti in Gaza.

Neuer’s comments were received poorly by the council. Council vice-president Amr Ahmed Ramadan of Egypt, broke with parliamentary protocol and refused to thank Neuer.

“I would like to say thank you, but I can’t—because I think that you need to respect this Council more in the next days,” Ramadan said.

Jared Kushner Arrives In Israel To Begin Peace Covenant Discussion With Both Netanyahu And Abbas
Jared Kushner, a 36-year-old real estate developer with little experience of international diplomacy and peace negotiations, arrived in Israel early on Wednesday and will spend barely 20 hours on the ground - he departs shortly after midnight. Trump has described a peace agreement between the Israelis and the Palestinians as "the ultimate deal" and made it a priority since taking office: he's received both Netanyahu and Abbas in the White House and visited the region last month.

6/21/17

Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, will meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday, beginning a new U.S. effort to revive Middle East peace efforts.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: For nearly 70 years, the most savvy politicians and heads of state have tried time and again to make peace between the Jews and the Palestinians only to come close but ultimately fail each and every time. Now out of the shadows comes a figure draped in intrigue and mystery, with admittedly zero experience in politics, diplomacy or peace negotiations, and is absolute center on the global stage. As previously mentioned, our sources tells us that Jared Kushner will be the one to pull it off. How is this possible? Simple, you’re living in the end times and prophecy is leaping off the pages of the Bible as it gets ready to be fulfilled as we watch. Flight #777 on Titus 2:13 Airlines now boarding, get ready to fly.

Jared Kushner, a 36-year-old real estate developer with little experience of international diplomacy and peace negotiations, arrived in Israel early on Wednesday and will spend barely 20 hours on the ground – he departs shortly after midnight.

During his stopover, he will meet Netanyahu for their first formal discussions on peace, before travelling to Ramallah, in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, for talks with Abbas after Iftar, the evening meal that breaks the Ramadan fast.

U.S. officials are calling the trip part of an effort to keep the conversation going rather than the launching of a new phase in the peace process, saying that Kushner and Jason Greenblatt, the president’s special representative for international negotiations, are likely to return repeatedly.

Greenblatt arrived in Israel on Monday for preliminary discussions in both Jerusalem and Ramallah, and will remain for follow-up talks after Kushner has departed, officials said.

Trump has described a peace agreement between the Israelis and the Palestinians as “the ultimate deal” and made it a priority since taking office: he’s received both Netanyahu and Abbas in the White House and visited the region last month.

But it remains unclear what approach Trump, via Kushner and Greenblatt, plans to take on resolving one of the world’s most intractable conflicts.

For at least two decades, the goal of U.S.-led diplomacy has been a “two-state solution”, meaning an independent Palestinian state living side-by-side and at peace with Israel. But when he met Netanyahu in Washington in February, Trump said he was not fixed on two states saying, “I’m looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both parties like”.

Netanyahu has in the past given his conditional backing to two states. But ahead of his last election victory in 2015, he promised there would never be a Palestinian state on his watch, a remark seen as an attempt to shore up support on the right.
In preliminary discussions before Kushner’s visit, Palestinian sources said the phrase “two state solution” had not been used.

On Tuesday, hours before Kushner’s arrival, Netanyahu announced the beginning of work on a new settlement in the West Bank, and has talked of thousands more settlement homes, ramping up a policy that has long been a major obstacle to peace.

The Palestinians have in the past called for a freeze on settlement building before any negotiations can take place. Most of the world considers settlements built on occupied land illegal under international law, a position Israel disputes.

Palestinian sources said that ahead of Kushner’s meeting with Abbas, they had been asked to draw up a list of 12 ‘bullet point’ demands they have in any negotiations.

They they saw it as a helpful exercise in focusing on core elements rather than an oversimplification of a complex issue.

Trump administration officials have said that if they are going to make progress on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, they do not want to get bogged down in process but to move more rapidly towards resolving what are known as “final status” issues, the complexities around Jerusalem, Palestinian refugees, water resources, security and borders. source

Israel To Complete East Jerusalem Kedem Center After Relentless Attacks From UN World Heritage Committee
“Today I have instructed that procedures be completed for the construction of the Kedem Center for displaying the historical and archaeological findings for the City of David,” Netanyahu said. “This will be an impressive structure with extensive displays. The entire world will see the truth and the first visitors whom I will invite there will be UNESCO and UN delegations,” Netanyahu said.

7/9/17

Israel plans to complete the construction of an internationally controversial Kedem Center for tourists that will be located in east Jerusalem just outside the Old City’s Dung Gate, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said before the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday.

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.” Zechariah 12:2 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: In the ongoing battle to claim ownership of the city of Jerusalem, the United Nations has decided to do it one bite at a time. By declaring various towns in the “disputed territories” to be of ‘Palestinian origin’, like Hebron, the UN is actually gunning for Jerusalem, which they want desperately to award to Palestine. As a counter-move, Israeli PM Netanyahu has decided to speed completion of the Kedem Center, a museum dedicated to the 3,000 year history of the Jews in Jerusalem.

He spoke in the aftermath of two votes the World Heritage Committee took last week in Krakow Poland. The first disavowed Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem. The second inscribed the Tomb of the Patriarchs to the World Heritage in Danger list under the State of Palestine.

“The connection between the Jewish People and Hebron and the Tomb of the Patriarchs is one of purchase and of history which may be without parallel in the history of peoples,” Netanyahu said. “Of course this did not prevent the UNESCO World Heritage Committee last Friday from passing yet another delusional resolution which determined that the Tomb of the Patriarchs, the same Cave of Machpelah, is a Palestinian heritage site,” he said.

“In the wake of this resolution I decided to cut an additional $1 million from Israel’s UN membership dues and transfer the funds to the establishment of The Museum of the Heritage of the Jewish People in Kiryat Arba and Hebron.”

“The money will also serve additional heritage initiatives related to Hebron. I trust you [Jerusalem and Heritage Minister] Ze’ev [Elkin] to submit a proper proposal on this matter,” Netanyahu added. source

President Trump To Send Jared Kushner And Envoy Back To Middle East For Israeli-Palestinian Peace Talks
“While the regional talks will play an important role, the president reaffirms that peace between Israelis and Palestinians can only be negotiated directly between the two parties and that the United States will continue working closely with the parties to make progress towards that goal,” the official said.

8/11/17

President Donald Trump is sending his son-in-law Jared Kushner and negotiator Jason Greenblatt to the Middle East soon to meet regional leaders and discuss a “path to substantive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks,” a White House official said on Friday.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Jared Kushner is again heading to the Middle East in another attempt to broker peace between the Jews and the Palestinians. He recently stated “we’re trying to work with the parties very quietly to see if there’s a solution.” Will the mystery man from 666 Fifth Ave have enough tricks up his sleeve to pull it off what no one has been able to do over the past 69 years? Stay tuned…

Deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will also be on the trip, which will include meetings with leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Israel and the Palestinian Authority, the official said.

“While the regional talks will play an important role, the president reaffirms that peace between Israelis and Palestinians can only be negotiated directly between the two parties and that the United States will continue working closely with the parties to make progress towards that goal,” the official said.
Jared Kushner, who serves as a senior adviser to his father-in-law, was charged with helping to broker a deal between Israelis and Palestinians after Trump took office.

The president went to Saudi Arabia and Israel during his first post-inauguration trip abroad and has expressed a personal commitment to reaching a deal that has eluded his Republican and Democratic predecessors.

nteb-gospel-tracts-street-preaching-witnessing-ministry-468The timing of the trip was pegged to the recent “restoration of calm and the stabilized situation in Jerusalem” after a spate of violence last month sparked by Israel’s installation of metal detectors at entry points to the Noble Sanctuary or Temple Mount compound there.

Trump directed that the talks focus on a pathway to peace talks, fighting “extremism,” easing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and identifying economic steps that can be taken to ensure security and stability, the official said.

“To enhance the chances for peace, all parties need to engage in creating an environment conducive to peace-making while affording the negotiators and facilitators the time and space they need to reach a deal,” the official said. source

UNESCO’s Globalist Agenda … Minus Israel

It’s time for member states to take a hard look at UNESCO—and discern the growing gulf between its actions and the noble precepts of its Constitution and the UN charter. Despite its public commitment to justice, the rule of law and human rights, “without distinction of race, sex, language or religion,” UNESCO strips these rights solely from Israel and denies its religious heritage, history, and legitimacy as the nation state of the Jewish people. UNESCO’s “unrestricted pursuit of objective truth,” and commitment to preserve the historic heritage of all world cultures excludes Israel.

Recent resolutions supporting contrived Palestinian claims to Jewish history, land, and heritage are part of the UN’s anti-Zionist track record. Despite the legacy of the 1922 League of Nations Mandate and 1947 Resolution 181, anti-Semitism steadily increased as UN membership swelled. By 1967, the tide had turned. In 1975, Ugandan dictator Idi Amin called for Israel’s “expulsion from the United Nations and the extinction of Israel as a State” and this was to a standing ovation. Also under Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim, a former Nazi officer, Resolution 3379 equated Zionism with racism.

Yet neither anti-Semitism nor Muslim majorities suffice to explain this organization’s hatred of Israel—unless also seen through the lens of encroaching globalism.

“The task before UNESCO,” said its first Director-General Julian Huxley in 1946, is “the emergence of a single world culture” by transferring “full sovereignty from separate nations to a world organization.”

The “new world order” will be a socialist, authoritarian global government and court with “global rule of law” and a “one-world economy,” according to the Commission for Global Governance.

The Obama Administration provides an example of leftist globalists in action. Bankrolled by billionaire George Soros, and using the radical social-manipulation “rules” of Obama mentor Saul Alinsky, the Left exploits groups like Black Lives Matter as “agents of change” to help usher in their new world order. They fund and direct radical groups to sow chaos and division by politicizing leftist targets such as police by labeling them as “racist.”

“The black community is in a grave situation and they are being exploited and manipulated by the liberal left,” said African-American Vanderbilt University law professor Carol Swain.

In the same way, UN globalists manipulate the Palestinians. They play the “racism” card to incite chaos, division and attacks against Israeli police and soldiers—just like in Ferguson, MO. Their strategy: foment societal disruption so as to undermine democratic foundations—then step in and take over.

The Globalist agenda also includes the establishment of a one-world religion which means the
political globalists have a religious arm. The UN is riddled with New Agers, occultists and others who consider freedom of religion hostile to New Age global harmony.

Former UN Assistant Secretary-General Robert Muller told the San Jose Mercury that religious fundamentalism’s “inflexible belief systems … play an incendiary role in global conflicts.” There’ll be no peace without “taming fundamentalism through a United Religion that professes faithfulness only to global spirituality,” he said.

On two counts, Israel is a thorn in the side of one-world globalists. First, Zionism is Israel’s call as the nation state of the Jewish people; its Jewish identity, history, and defensible borders are integral to its survival. As Israel’s former U.N. Ambassador Chaim Herzog declared: “The key to understanding Zionism lies in its name. ‘Mount Zion’ is the place where God dwells according to the Bible. Jerusalem or Zion is where the Lord is King…. “Zion” grew … to mean the whole … Jewish homeland, symbolic of … Jewish national aspirations.”

Second, though Israel supports freedom of worship for all residents, including Christians and Muslims, the Jewish religion reveres G-d—not a New Age, cultic pantheon. In Deuteronomy, Moses conveyed Israel’s calling to “a people holy (“separate”) to the Lord your G-d. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession.”

7 YEAR TREATY? Abbas Says Peace With Israel Possible This Year, Will Be Trump’s ‘Deal Of The Century’

Abbas met Trump on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly gathering of world leaders in New York and thanked him for his support. "If this is any proof to anything ... it attests to the seriousness of your Excellency, Mr. President, to achieve the deal of the century in the Middle East during this year or in the coming months, God willing," Abbas said through an interpreter. Trump said his team of advisers was working very hard on the issue, as were Israel, Saudi Arabia and other nations.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed optimism on Wednesday about reaching a peace agreement with Israel this year and said U.S. President Donald Trump’s commitment to the issue would help create the “deal of the century” in the region.

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Abbas dropped quite the bombshell today when he said that not only is peace with Israel possible, but could happen this year. On top of that, Abbas went on to give President Trump all the credit for making it happen when and if it does take place. Typical Palestinian bluster…or…are we about to witness the 7 Year Peace Treaty? Mr. Abbas, if that happens, it won’t just be the ‘deal of the century’, it will fulfill 2,500 year old prophecy. What a great time to be alive and a Bible believer.

Abbas met Trump on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly gathering of world leaders in New York and thanked him for his support.

“If this is any proof to anything … it attests to the seriousness of your Excellency, Mr. President, to achieve the deal of the century in the Middle East during this year or in the coming months, God willing,” Abbas said through an interpreter.

Trump said his team of advisers was working very hard on the issue, as were Israel, Saudi Arabia and other nations.

“I think we have a very, very good chance, and I certainly will devote everything within my heart and within my soul to get that deal made,” Trump said. “We’re at a very important juncture, there’s a small period of time, and we’re going to see what we can do. There can be no promises, obviously,” he said.

Abbas noted that the Palestinians had met with Trump’s team more than 20 times since the U.S. president entered office in January, and he said the fact that Jews and Muslims were celebrating a new year was a positive sign.

“This is a very sweet coincidence that we can celebrate the new year together within a 24-hour period, and if this is an indication to anything, it means that we can coexist peacefully together,” Abbas said.
Later at the U.N. gathering, Abbas urged the 193-nation body to end the “Israeli occupation of the state of Palestine” within a set timetable.

He also borrowed a campaign line of Trump’s, using the phrase “draining the swamp” as an argument for addressing the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis. Trump used a similar phrase as a presidential candidate to criticize politicians and policy making in Washington.

“Beyond any doubt, draining the swamp of colonial occupation of our land and ending its unjust, oppressive and illegal practices against our people would greatly affect the fight against terrorism, depriving terrorist groups of one of the key rallying cries they exploit to promote their repugnant ideas,” Abbas said in his prepared remarks.

Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier in the week. The Israeli and Palestinian leaders both went out of their way to praise the U.S. president.

The White House played down both meetings in terms of their significance toward peace talks on one of the world’s most intractable conflicts that has defied the peacemaking efforts of several U.S. administrations going back decades.

The Palestinians seek to establish an independent state in the Israeli occupied West Bank, territory captured in the 1967 Middle East war and the Gaza Strip, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Palestinian Authority’s ambassador to the United States, Husam Zomlot, said “the meeting was forward-looking, and the conversation was deep and frank between the two allies.”

The Palestinian Authority said in a statement Abbas told Trump that “peace can be achieved through implementing the two-state solution based on the 1967 borders.” Abbas also said “the illegal Israeli settlements policy poses an immediate threat” to that.

For at least two decades, the goal of U.S.-led diplomacy has been a “two-state solution”, meaning an independent Palestinian state living side-by-side and at peace with Israel.

But neither Trump nor his aides have publicly recommitted to a two-state solution, instead saying it is up to the two parties to work out in peace talks. Abbas’ insistence on a return to 1967 pre-war borders is something Israel has repeatedly rejected. source

US: Nine UN anti-Israel drafts harm peace efforts

Next month, the UN General Assembly is expected to affirm east Jerusalem’s status as “occupied territory,” call for international companies to boycott Israel and condemn Israel’s presence on the Golan Heights. Nine drafted texts, of what will likely be a slate of 20 anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian resolutions, were overwhelmingly affirmed Friday in New York at a meeting of the Fourth Committee…which is made up of the 193 UN member states.

151 UN states vote to disavow Israeli ties to Jerusalem

The UN General Assembly voted overwhelmingly to disavow Israeli ties to Jerusalem as part of six anti-Israel resolutions it approved on Thursday in New York. The vote was 151 in favor and six against, with nine abstentions. The resolution came as the Trump Administration was rumored to be actively considering relocating its embassy to Jerusalem.
