The discussion about Kent's son using this version in that topic I feel deserves a thread of its own. Anyhow, without continuing the discussions on the Hovinds, thought this deserves a thread of its own(again, let's leave the discussions of the Hovinds and dinasours in its respective threads, and not continue it here)...

Was just researching it through search engines, and from what wiki said - they *claim* to make *minor* changes, but *doesn't alter the language significantly*. And then they replace vocabulary *which would no longer make sense to the reader*.

This is the 21st century KJV(as you know, 21st century = year 2000). The 3rd Millenium KJV includes the Apocryphal.

Both bibles are NOT doing any service to their respective readers. This is yet ANOTHER DECEPTION by these *translation teams* making you think they're "easier reads". This is how they throw the bait out to you - make you think the "changes" are "minor" and "an easier read", and the rest is all downhill from there. The NIV and NASB translators did the same thing. And we've discussed at length the Apocryphal and its big deceptions. And to boot, they will only show a MERE COUPLE of examples to try to "prove" their points.

As for these so-called "archaic" words...I tell you, they have POWER to the reader...from my experiences, I was a poor English student in school, and even did poorly on my SATs/ACTs...however, the Lord has helped me tremendously to understand all of these so-called "archaic"(or whatever you want to call them) words.

Just put your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and let the Holy Spirit guide you in all understanding.

As if translators know better than the Spirit, which is how the person actually learns what is written, by the Holy Ghost teaching them, not some new and improved translation.

From what i know about the NKJV and MKJV i would not trust a KJV 2000 Version. I dont see what the point is trying to get rid of thee's and thou's because they are their to help a person understand the verses properly.

the King James text is copyrighted in England
