BEWARE of the "5th Great Awakening"!

Just came home from the 6pm church service - I don't go to the 6pms anymore, however, there's this guy in the metroplex(Jim Denison) who has a big ministry(and is a missionary in the ME), and every year around 9/11, he speaks about the dangers of Radical Islam at the local First Baptist in town.

Anyhow, I didn't expect a whole lot(especially with the condition of the modern-day church), however, there were a number of things he said that not only were subtlely deceptive, but eye-poppingly deceptive as well. No, it wasn't so much that he didn't expose 9/11 as an inside job(he said how 19 Muslim hijackers did it), but after exposing radical Islam for what it was(and did a decet job of it), he went into in the last part to say how Christianity is the fastest growing religion in the world partly b/c 1000s of Muslims, Chinese(and every other nationality in the world) was converting to Christianity, and pretty much he was boasting about the (large)numbers that were doing so, and how we all need to be taking part in this "5th Great Awakening" to evangelize many Muslims in the world.

No, I'm NOT saying we should forsake witnessing to Muslims, however, it was just alot of the things he was saying that was questionable - it was just screaming CHRISLAM, to be frank. Didn't Jesus and Paul say that if they don't receive your testimony, then wipe the dust off of your feet as a testimony against them? Didn't Jesus say that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over 99 righteous people? WHOOPS! Seriously, he REALLY bipassed over Jesus's other teachings on witnessing! AND, he spoke HIGHLY of *Isa*(the "Jesus prophet" in the Koran, that is). He was so subtle about describing Isa, that you could barely catch what he was trying to explain about it, and saying how we should witness Isa's name to these Muslims!

Overall, he was screaming ECUMENISM as well! Here's a web site over this "5th Great Awakening"...

Just to clarify above - isn't setting a goal to get so many Muslims converted by the 1000s, etc a doctrine of works? This is where it struck me how the subtle deceptions of this Chrislam movement is working...they may make you think you're evangelizing them, but they're quietly trying to get you to yoke with them(No, Denison didn't say anything about Chrislam).

Also, these false prophets and false teachers talking about evangelizing Muslims say the same thing - they BOAST over the MANY NUMBER of Muslims they've evangelized(this asian missionary guy I discussed in Dec said the same thing).

I briefed through the guy's web site(posted about him in the "Wolves in Sheep's Clothing" forum), and guess what, even though I've found no evidence he's part of the Emergent Church, however, he speaks like a Theosophist, reason being that he likes to say "all religions need to work together for the common good"(not only Rick Warren has said this, but Alice Bailey as well).

The New Age Movement, according to Baer and Cumbey, has a very big network, but no "heirarchy", per se(despite a few "leaders" like Spangler and Creme). Yeah, in these times we're living in, discernment is a huge key. With some of these false teachers, you're not going to find any web sites of them being exposed(like this guy), b/c there are just so many, as many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Apostle Peter warned that our adversaries are many and are trying to devour at us like a roaring lion.
