I have a question about the impending global economic collapse - thought about this last night...is it just me, or does anyone else feel it won't happen until after the 7 year tribulation starts?

No, I am NOT saying the economy will be "goody-goody" until then. Obviously, we're near-depression levels now. But the current state we're in is not a depression, per se, but heading toward a Socialism/Communism regime. Take the bank bailout from 2008 for example - back then, before legislation passed, there was just so much fear running rampant, partly b/c our government officials like Henry Paulson was threatening everyone with Martial Law in America if this bill didn't passed.

Then it passed, and while everyone feared the global economy would collapse, it didn't. So while everyone breathed a sigh of relief over the short run, over the long run small businesses, in particular, got hit very hard b/c they no longer could get loans due to all the bank bailout bill laws that got passed. Or take the Greece situation this weekend - there's alot of fear over there that the EU will collapse regardless of who wins the elections, so everyone pretty much has lost hope and started withdrawing all of their money. IMHO, I don't think the EU will collapse YET, but the NWO minions will use this situation to implement more Socialism measures with the "newly elected government" like the 2008 bank bailout did here that will ultimately catch everyone by surprise.

Anyhow - does everyone see what I'm trying to get at? It's as if building up the entire system into Socialism/Communism could very well be the perfect setup when the AC comes in, especially with the whole world running around in confusion and fear and demanding answers, and the whole system comes crashing down when the 3rd seal gets unleashed.

But I don't know - was wondering what everyone's thoughts on the timing of this.

The world economic systems have been hijacked. Control of money switched from the hands of the people as a method of barter to the hands of a select few. Now, instead of just a tool for trade, money and the systems of money are tools to reward or punish individual behavior. The system creates dependence and loyalty to the system. Would people on food stamps speak against the government? Would an employee of a multinational corporation speak out against its immoral practices? It’s about compromise of values to maintain a certain quality of life. It would not be in the elite’s interest to destroy the economic system until a better control system makes money obsolete.

They create/control the confusion and fear. They can “crash” their own system. But there must always be something ready to replace it.

I find it interesting that we now have names and organizations of Bilderberg attendees, the people that regulate this beast economic system, the policy executors. There’s not that many of them. But nobody in the media, including the alternative media, seems to ever focus on these key individuals. Is this because people don’t want to reject the hand that feeds them no matter how coercive the system may get?

My Bible says that God, Himself is my provider, not man. As such, I must rely on Him directly to manage my perception, quality of life, and even the timing of my death.

The beast system must eventually be destroyed completely in order for the end to come. When it does happen, man and Satan will have no control over it.

I like the way you put that. I agree, a total collapse of the financial system is not the goal, but to change it, gradually, from a system of "free enterprise", to highly managed system run by a select few that is so pervasive, and part of daily life, a person participates as a matter of that's how "modern society" does things. Well, it is how they do it, but the problem is in a Christian trying to play by God's rules, and Caesar's rules. Jesus already told us before, "...ye cannot serve God and mammon".

well of course it wont happen until after the Trib starts, it is the 3rd seal. 

But that being said, we saw this, well us old timers that grew up during the cold war saw this in Russia. Where the cost of just a loaf of bread was worth like a days salary, but all the vodka you want was super cheap. Thi swas a form of comtrol to keep the population drunk and stupid. It worked so well in the 1970's and 80's they brought it back.

No bailout - Russians get cheaper vodka instead. Government to cut alcohol taxes in half to help ease the citizens pain.

Amid a financial crisis that is cutting jobs and eroding growth, there is finally good news for Russians.

The head of the new state alcohol agency - gleefully dubbed the "ministry for vodka" by the press - was advocating cutting taxes on the national tipple to make it more accessible, the Izvestia daily reported.

Igor Chuiyan, the former head of state alcohol monopoly Rosspirtprom, has been named to head the new federal agency for alcohol market regulation, or Rosalkogol for short.

Without citing its sources, the paper said he advocated slashing the tax on a litre of pure alcohol from 190.8 roubles (R59.55) now to 100 roubles.

This would mean that the tax on 500ml of vodka would be cut to about 20 roubles from the current 38 roubles, it said.

Such a move would be part of Rosalkogol's mission to crack down on the serious problem of the selling of contraband alcohol, which means, according to Izvestia, that one out of every three bottles of vodka sold in Russia is fake.

The sale of fake alcohol not only has serious economic consequences for producers but also for health: dozens of Russians die each year by drinking adulterated vodka.

Izvestia said Chuiyan could impose a minimum price of about 100 roubles for vodka this year, to stop Russians buying dangerously cheap spirits.

According to some reports, Russians have also been cutting down their purchases of vodka during the economic crisis and resorting to homemade spirits, known as samagon.

In more general terms, the World Health Organisation warned earlier this week that the crisis might spark a rise in mental illness and health problems as people turned to alcohol, tobacco and drugs to get through the downturn.

"This has happened in the past," said Margaret Chan, the UN agency's director-general, at a conference on the effects on health of the financial crisis.

In the UK, where banks are feeling the full force of the crisis, this could exacerbate a worrying trend. A government survey noted yesterday that a third of Britons regularly exceeded recommended limits for alcohol consumption, with men and managers leading the way.

About 41 percent of men consumed more than four units of alcohol, the equivalent of two pints of beer, at least once a week, said the UK Office for National Statistics. One in three women exceeded the recommended level of two to three units, or two glasses of wine.

At the conference, Chan also warned that periods of economic instability "increase the risk that people will neglect healthcare, with prevention falling by the wayside".

She noted that public health systems, which were already "overstretched and underfunded", could take further strain. "In times of economic crisis, people tend to forgo private care and make more use of publicly financed services."

Another comment on this - from what I read, if Greece were allowed to leave the EU and start a clean slate(even if it means filing for bankruptcy), not only would they have been better off over the long run, but the EU TOO would have been better off.

So yeah, all these news reports of a scenerio of the anti-bailout party(Syrzia) winning which would cause a ripple effect across the EU(and the world) was nothing but FEAR-MONGERING on part of the NWO minions...and it worked b/c it spread fear among the Greek citizens, that it left them no choice but to vote for the pro-bailout party(New Democracy).

It was no different from 2008 here when the US government used fear as a weapon to get this monster bailout package passed(ie-Henry Paulson threatening with Martial Law in America). And you know the rest of the story how it hurt the US economy over the long haul.
