It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Gonzales Questions Habeas Corpus
By Robert Parry 19 Jan 2007 In one of the most chilling public statements ever made by a U.S. Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales questioned whether the U.S. Constitution grants habeas corpus rights of a fair trial to every American.

Military tribunals
In Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, Chief Justice John Roberts was part of a unanimous panel overturning the district court
ruling and upholding military tribunals set up by the Bush administration for trying
terrorism suspects known as enemy combatants.
Circuit Judge A. Raymond Randolph, writing for the court, ruled that Hamdan, a driver for
al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, [12] could be tried by a military court because: 1. the military commission had the approval of Congress;
 2. the Third Geneva Convention is a treaty between nations and as such it does not confer individual rights and remedies enforceable in U.S. courts;
 3. even if the Convention could be enforced in U.S. courts, it would not be of assistance to Hamdan at the time because, for a conflict such as the war against al-Qaeda (considered by the court as a separate war from that against Afghanistan itself) that is not between two countries, it guarantees only a certain standard of judicial procedure without speaking to the jurisdiction in which the prisoner must be tried.

The court held open the possibility of judicial review of the results of the military commission after the current proceedings have ended. [13] This decision was overturned on June 29, 2006 by the Supreme Court in a 5-3 decision, with Roberts not participating due to his prior ruling
as a circuit judge.

It's not a secret that Georgetown is a government training and recruiting school for government "jobs".

9/30/12

WASHINGTON (AP) — An American archbishop has reminded a congregation that included six Supreme Court justices Sunday to be open to the spirit of God, beg for his blessings and "strive to be instruments of a new evangelization."

The Archdiocese of Washington says Justices John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Elena Kagan, Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas and Stephen Breyer were at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle for Red Mass, celebrated the Sunday before the Supreme Court begins its new term.

The Most Rev. Timothy Broglio, archbishop for the military services, said the Mass was also "a moment to pause and pray for those who serve our country and foster justice for all."

The John Carroll Society, a group of Roman Catholic Washington professionals, has organized the Red Mass at the cathedral since 1953.

wonder what that is?

Unity of man under the coming false Christ.

Not striving for justice and not striving for righteousness.

They pray to a demon posing as a dead saint and ask that in Jesus’ name? Why don't they ask Christ directly for guidance?

I wonder how many people remember the Ten Commandments being rolled out of Roy Moore’s courtroom. That was nine years ago.

Since then:

The Supreme Court on Monday turned away an appeal from an Ohio judge who wanted to post a copy of the biblical Ten Commandments in his courtroom.

A long-running and bitter fight over whether the Ten Commandments may be posted in schools continues Monday in a federal courtroom in Roanoke.

… Judge Michael Urbanski has ordered the two sides into mediation to seek a “reasonable compromise,” the Roanoke Times reported.
Urbanksi suggested that the two sides might consider removing the four commandments that refer directly to God, according to the Lynchburg News & Advance.

Quote
The battle over the separation of church and state has been alive and well in Mountain City, Tennessee. After years of debate, a local man named Ralph Stewart has come to a settlement with local officials after charging that the Johnson County courthouse has been promoting Christianity and violating the U.S. Constitution with its Ten Commandments display.

Stewart took particular issue with the display of a Ten Commandments plaque that hangs in the courthouse’s lobby. The display is a part of an exhibition that has been put together to showcase the history of American law. The plaque reads, “The Historical Foundation of American Law, Moral Values, and Code of Conduct.”

While Stewart originally wanted it removed from the courthouse, he has, instead, come to an agreement, thus ending his lawsuit against Johnson County. As part of the arrangement, the county has agreed to also post a display that the man created to explain the importance of church-state separation. This messages present on his posters claim that the Ten Commandments are not the foundation of American law and that church and state must remain separated.

Obviously God’s opinion is outdated and has no place in the institutions of man. It’s now time “to be instruments of a new evangelization”.

FYI - ALL 5 of the USSC justices that voted to uphold Roe V Wade in 1992(Planned Parenthood vs Casey) were GOP APPOINTEES! Reagan appointed Sandra Day O'Conner and Kennedy, George H.W. appointed David Souter, Nixon appointed Harry Blackman, and Ford appointed John Stevens. So as you can see, 3 of these appointees CAME AFTER the so-called "moral majority" formed(ie-Robertson, Falwell, Trent Lott, Charles Stanley, etc formed this group to "combat" culture issues like abortion and homosexuality).

Hhhhmmm...why didn't we hear any outcry from Falwell and the 700 Club over these very liberal appointments? Roll Eyes

And of course, both of George W's appointees(Alito and Roberts) are pro-Roe V Wade(and the latter, of course, voted to uphold Obamacare).

Yeah - look at the rotten fruit of this "moral majority" group.

As for this whole 10 Commandments debate going on in the courts - seriously, we are NOT under the OT law anymore. We are under the NT covenant, saved by grace through Jesus Christ alone. If we break 1 law, we break them all, right?

This is my gripe with the 10 Commandments being the centerpiece here.

Absolutely. We are under grace. But what this does show is a recent contempt and rejection of the views of the Creator. It also shows a desire for some other entity to tell them what they want to hear, even if it’s sweet lies…like Obama, US politicians, and world leaders have already done.

Fake Christians trying to force their religion on the general secular public doesn't make things any easier! Nor is it doctrinal.

Supreme Court's Scalia Cites C. S. Lewis in Confessing Belief in the Devil

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's candid interview with New York magazine covers a lot of ground: gay rights, media echo chambers, Seinfeld, and how little he cares about his intellectual legacy. But what surprised his interviewer, Jennifer Senior, the most was his belief "the Devil."

This actually isn't the first time Scalia has publicly raised the question of Satan. But after discussing heaven and hell, Scalia leaned toward Senior and whispered, "I even believe in the Devil." "You do?" Senior responded. "Of course!" said Scalia, explaining that all faithful Catholics do the same.

After a few more exchanges, Senior asked, "Isn't it terribly frightening to believe in the Devil?" Scalia was shocked by Senior's incredulity:

You're looking at me as though I'm weird. My God! Are you so out of touch with most of America, most of which believes in the Devil? I mean, Jesus Christ believed in the Devil! It's in the Gospels! You travel in circles that are so, so removed from mainstream America that you are appalled that anybody would believe in the Devil! Most of mankind has believed in the Devil, for all of history. Many more intelligent people than you or me have believed in the Devil.

Citing C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters, Scalia explained that the Devil has gotten wilier since Bible times. Instead of making pigs jump off cliffs, possessing people, and whatnot, he's "getting people not to believe in him or in God."

I read a version of that article, or rather this article is a kind of paraphrase of an earlier article, because that earlier one mentioned Scalia went to Jesuit schools. This one doesn't mention that. I'm trying to locate it. But for now...

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/11/14/justice-scalia-i-have-religious-views-they-have-nothing-to-d/

Quote
...At the Supreme Court, where there are now six Catholic justices, that question is increasingly in the air, yet has swirled most around Scalia. When he joined the Supreme Court in 1986, six Roman Catholic justices already had served over the years, beginning with Chief Justice Roger Taney in 1836. The Catholic William Brennan was still on the bench when Scalia was named, and several other Catholics have served since. The Catholics with Scalia among the current nine are Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Anthony Kennedy, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Sonia Sotomayor.

Yet, more than any of them, Scalia, who was raised in a strict Catholic home, then attended a Jesuit high school and the Jesuit Georgetown University, has been identified as a Catholic justice. Scalia publicly presents himself this way, and the news media have reinforced the importance of Catholicism to his life and his sense of himself. During an interview last year on CBS' "60 Minutes," Scalia was asked about the fact that he and his wife have nine children. "We didn't set out to have nine children," Scalia said. "We're just old-fashioned Catholics, playing what used to be known as 'Vatican roulette.'" In a more serious vein, Scalia has spoken publicly about the importance of fidelity to the Church's traditional values, such as saying the Rosary and observance of all holy days...

Scalia was also a Ronald Reagan appointment - one of 2 Roman Catholics Reagan appointed to the USSC(the other being Anthony Kennedy). The 3rd USSC justice Reagan appointed was an Episcopalian(Sandra Day O'Conner). It under Reagan's watch when this country re-established ties with the Vatican.

As I've said before, I read a lot of Lewis's writings 7 years ago when I first got saved, b/c I was a Math major in college and his philosophy/logic stuff had a lot in common with me at the time. But nonetheless he used this to subtlely deceive his readers by quietly hooking you with lies after he put out some truth.

With that being said - both Lewis and Scalia pretty much telegraphed a punch here: Yes, it's pretty much true that the Illuminati minions don't exactly conjure up devils to possess them, but use these deceptive esoteric writings to create a puppet show to deceive the world. For example, look at these national/state elections every 2-4 years - all of it is rigged and compromised, however, they do one heck of a job of making everything look real and authentic. Same with all of the MSM news coverage of everything.
