While they may be able to get a few thousand Muslims to attend the event, they are NOT going to be mainstream Muslims.? Zuhdi Jasser M.D., Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, has expressed serious concerns.

    It is troubling that the Democratic National Convention has decided to promote and lend its name and national political platform to the organizers of the ?Jummah at the DNC?. The leaders of this event ? Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahhaj as advertised are no moderates. They are radicals. These individuals embrace Islamist supremacy and have demonstrated support for radical ideologies."

I could see the Mormon thing, they can play it off as an off shoot of Christianity, with really the true Chrstians knowing the truth. But having, 20,000 Muslims show up? I think that would cause the not so hard core commies and new agers in the Dem party to take a step back and ask a couple of questions. This isnt a small thing here...

Remember it was just days before the 2004 election when George W dropped a bombshell and told ABC's Charlie Gibson that he thinks Christians and Muslims worship the same God, and they'll all go to heaven even though they have "different" paths of getting there. And this was just MERE DAYS BEFORE the 2004 election. But somehow it went right under Churchianity's noses.(and there was a media blackout on this to boot)

So who knows what stunt Obama will pull - maybe he'll "come out of the closet" like as you said, but instead a mere week before this election, only for entire America to ignore it.

Over at the Gateway Pundit, a commenter notes the sharia compliance enforced on women at the DNC Jummah. The real war on women, Islamic sharia (will not be televised).

Macsmind points out that one of the leaders of the DNC Muslim prayer event is wearing a ripped and torn U.S. flag around his neck.

And the media is scurrilously trying to now claim that the event wasn’t sanctioned by Obama and the DNC who mysteriously deleted the Islamic event from their schedule after public concern of Democratic support for sharia law and jihad-preaching participants.

Lest you have any doubts that Democrats whole-heartedly support Islamic sharia law, recall just weeks ago that a prominent Democrat stated on video that Voting Against Sharia Law Is GOP Fear Mongering, Bigotry.

It's not just the left, but the right is slowly but surely pushing it as well - remember I told you about Jim Dennison last Spring...he's a "prominent" SBC leader/teacher etc who's "expertise" is on Islam. Every year he gives a presentation at the local First Baptist Church in town doing so(in recent years, that is). Eventually the pastor at my church showed his presentation on DVD at my church last Spring. Just to make a long story short, when someone asked him about Sharia Law, he gave an indifferent "It's no big deal" response. He said good things about it, and then he brushed off all the bad things that were reported about it. Pretty much the entire presentation was to SUBTLELY get everyone to think Islam "isn't as bad as it seems just as long as we do our part to evangelize millions of them".
