I was just showing the proper geneology that followed Noah - OTOH, these other global flood tales from other religions, cultures, etc - they have their own "geneologies"(which will throw everyone off).

When I read this ICR article twice you posted - I got the understanding that the writer of it(John Morris) pretty much condemned all of these global flood tales from other cultures for this very reason.

How do you figure he is condemning all of them? Lets look at what he said.

And the stories are all so similar. Local geography and cultural aspects may be present but they all seem to be telling the same story.

He states that the stories are so similar that even from different cultures that have never met, that its obvious it originates from a common source. the original flood story from the Bible. Maybe you should study up on it. It is very interesting. Just as Joshuas long day is recorded in history so is the flood of Noah.
