The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Dollar Tree Closing All Stores?
Neither Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, nor Dollar General is closing all their stores, despite a widespread rumor on social media.

As screenshots and shares of the rumor spread, many conflated Dollar Tree with competitors Family Dollar or Dollar General, causing confusion about which chain of low-price retail stores was purportedly closing. Regardless, React365 is a prank generator that allows users to fabricate their own phony headlines for sharing on social media:

Just In: Well, well, well, look who CNN just hired!
9/21/17

Fired U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara is signing on with CNN to serve as a senior legal analyst.

From Reuters:

(Reuters) - Former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara is joining CNN as a senior legal analyst, a CNN spokesman said on Thursday.

Bharara was fired as U.S. Attorney in March by President Donald Trump, after refusing to resign his post when asked to do so by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Bharara joins CNN, a unit of Time Warner Inc (TWX.N), at a time when the cable network faces numerous accusations of being “fake news” from President Trump on Twitter.

CNN declined to give further details on Bharara joining the network.

Twitter Censors Pro-Life Groups Ads, Won’t Run Them Unless Its Web Site is Scrubbed of “Sensitive Content”
4-5 minutes

Live Action, the youth-centered pro-life organization known for its undercover investigations of Planned Parenthood, has accused Twitter of censoring its ads.

This spring, Live Action and founder Lila Rose said the social media site blocked their accounts’ ability to advertise. They still can send tweets to their followers, but the advertising block restricts them from reaching a wider audience.

Last week, lawyers for Rose and Live Action sent a letter asking Twitter to reinstate their ability to advertise on its site, the Washington Post reports.

According to Live Action, Twitter rejected several ads that exposed the Planned Parenthood abortion business and called for an end to its taxpayer funding. It also rejected an ad showing the photo of an unborn baby and the words, “I am not a potential human. I am a human with potential.”

Especially egregious about Twitter’s rejections were its requirements to accept future ads from Live Action. The pro-life group said the social media company wants Live Action to remove “sensitive content” from its own website, not just its Twitter page.

Such content includes the numerous undercover stings it has done of Planned Parenthood. Live Action has exposed the abortion chain for hiding sexual abuse, being willing to help sex traffickers, encouraging young teens to try sadomasochism and pornography, and more.

According to the report:

In a May 18 email to Live Action, Twitter’s political and advocacy sales team told the organization that its ads violated Twitter’s sensitive advertising content policy, which prohibits “inflammatory or provocative content which is likely to evoke a strong negative reaction” as well as content that is shocking, disturbing or offensive.

Twitter gave Live Action two choices to become eligible for advertising in the future: remove “sensitive content” from its website and Twitter feed, or create a Twitter handle linking to a new website without the offending content, according to the email exchanges provided by Live Action that The Washington Post has verified.

Among the “sensitive content” Twitter objected to that would have to be wiped from Live Action’s website and Twitter feed: videos of the organization’s undercover investigations, images and videos of abortion procedures, a petition to defund Planned Parenthood, and fetal ultrasounds.

Pete Slevin, one of the attorneys representing Live Action , characterized Twitter’s parameters for reinstating the organization’s ability to advertise as “unusual.”

“It’s not just that Twitter is saying, as a practical matter, that we’re going to ‘regulate’ your Tweets, they’re also seeming to ‘regulate’ what Live Action is posting on its own website,” Slevin said.

According to the Post, Twitter’s advertising policy is much more strict than many other social media sites. The policy prohibits, among other things, “Inflammatory content which is likely to evoke a strong negative reaction or cause harm.”

Twitter, Google, Facebook and other online companies have faced heavy criticism for restricting ads, especially from pro-life and conservative groups. Many believe these media giants show a strong liberal bias.

In May, Facebook also shut down Right to Life of Michigan’s advertising account for “misleading ads.” After repeatedly asking for more details, the pro-life organization was told that Facebook simply was “unable to take further action regarding this matter.” The pro-life group believes the issue involved an ad about a Michigan abortionist whose license was suspended.

In 2016, United Airlines also was criticized for blocking Live Action’s website on its in-flight wifi; however, it allowed access to pro-abortion sites. Later, United Airlines said the block was a mistake and promised to remove it.

Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones ‘Big Lie’ Comes Out As Trump Shuts Him Down Over Taking A Knee

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones looked so smug as he led his entire team to center field during Monday night’s game in Arizona. He thought by “taking a knee,” he had found a way to bow down to the idiot leftists and to placate the majority of Americans, but instead, it backfired big time as his big lie came out. Jones’ smugness quickly turned to terror as President Donald Trump shut him down. The Dallas Cowboys have long been known as “America’s Team,” but that nickname was just thrown in the trash by their entitled owner Jerry Jones, who thought he had the perfect workaround to the “take a knee” controversy. In case you missed it, and many did as viewership to the NFL is steadily going down, Jones led the team to take a knee right before the national anthem in Arizona Monday night. If you are confused by Jones’ behavior, you probably fell prey to the big lie told by fake news sources which went viral on social media. The viral posts state Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones called a meeting to inform the Cowboys staff that they would be fired if they did not “stand with hand over heart and with respect” during the Star Spangled Banner. Yahoo News reports, “It was a perfect fake news frame up, featuring a splashy mythical quote from team owner Jerry Jones, supposedly threatening to fire any players who knelt for the national anthem.” So, that never happened. In fact, Jones was so upset by the fake story, he couldn’t wait to take a knee on Monday night “to promote the push for justice and equal rights.” “The Dallas Cowboys, together with team owner Jerry Jones, take a collective knee at the start of the Monday Night Football game to display their unity with… well, something probably. Stick a fork in the financial future of the NFL, it’s done; finished,” reported The Conservative Treehouse. The report goes on, “There is something profoundly hilarious in the face of team owner Jerry Jones looking so smug as if he’s figured out how to navigate this insufferable financial minefield. He didn’t. Now watch the slow-motion financial implosion… that smugly look will change quickly as he watches his organizational bank account drain. By Thanksgiving; you’ll see. Bigly.” Let’s be clear. Jerry Jones is a billionaire business owner. His bottom line is making money, which is no crime. But, what is a crime to many Americans is this nonsense of taking a knee. Just what in the heck are they protesting? If you go back to the beginning and that loser Colin Kaepernick, he was protesting a Hispanic cop who was later found not guilty on all counts in the shooting death of a black thug, Philando Castile. So, these idiots are taking a knee over a lie and they want Americans to join in. Making matters worse for Jerry Jones is what happened in Dallas during a Black Lives Matter protest as five cops were shot and killed by an Islamist. When his players wished to pay a silent tribute to the cops by wearing a decal on their helmet in memory of them, the NFL rejected that positive show of unity with the police. Just like ESPN, the NFL, including the owners, are a bunch of hypocrites. President Trump made it clear to Jones that he miscalculated, big time. The booing at the NFL football game last night, when the entire Dallas team dropped to its knees, was loudest I have ever heard. Great anger President Donald Trump was talking directly to Jerry Jones, who he knows personally. Taking a knee before the national anthem doesn’t make this farce any better. Americans aren’t idiots. Americans don’t like to be duped by the likes of Jerry Jones, who thought he was so brilliant by kneeling a minute before the anthem. What Jerry didn’t get is that everything about these so-called protests in the NFL is born out of the lies from Black Lives Matter, a terrorist organization. Jones gambled and lost; Americans won’t be fooled ever again by the **** radical leftists. Please share the story and tell us what you think by clicking one of the buttons below. Mainstream Media Reporting On Twitter "Fake News" Exposed!

A recent analysis has claimed that Mainstream Media reporting on Twitter "fake news" is 100% false.

From The Daily Caller:

A number of establishment media outlets have sounded the alarm over “fake news” spreading in swing states in the month before the election, insinuating that Donald Trump’s win was a result of Russian misinformation efforts.

The only problem: A review of the report the media is relying on shows their conclusion is not accurate.

CNN reported that fake news on Twitter was higher in swing states. The report was accompanied by the chyron, “How ‘Fake News’ Spread During Election Week.”

The study CNN cited comes from the Oxford Internet Institute, titled, “Social Media, News and Political Information during the US Election: Was Polarizing Content Concentrated in Swing States?”

The study’s authors’ do not, however, label their study as necessarily being about “fake news.” Instead, the researchers use the term “junk news.”

The bulk of “Polarizing and Conspiracy Content” comes from so-called “junk news” websites, which makes up 79 percent of the content.

The study does, however, deliberately classify a number of websites as producing “junk news” that are relatively mainstream conservative news outlets — not “fake news.”

One of the study’s researchers with the Oxford Internet Institute told The Daily Caller via email that, “A couple of junk news sites we found to be frequently shared in the US were Infowars, Breitbart, The Washington Examiner, and truthfeed.com.”

Using the report’s findings to conclude “Twitter users in swing states got more fake news than real news in the days leading up to the 2016 presidential election,” as Newsweek did, is misleading.

Fake News Media Working Overtime To Push A Phony Narrative About Motive Of Las Vegas Shooter Stephen Paddock
So why are the media insistent that Paddock was getting rich by playing video poker? I don’t know what happened — and, apparently, neither do the cops — but it’s kind of odd that we keep being told things that aren’t true about the Las Vegas massacre, from the basic timeline to this weird insistence that Paddock made a good living at gambling.

10/12/17

Now the media are just taunting us with their tall tales about Stephen Paddock, the alleged Las Vegas shooter. Reputedly serious news organizations are claiming that he made a living playing video poker. That’s like claiming someone made a living smoking crack.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The mystery of exactly who Stephen Paddock was is straight out of the classic conspiracy handbook. No provable source of income, yet he had access to seemingly endless piles of money. A world traveller who loved visiting, of all places, the Middle East. Pulls off a highly-complicated mass shooting that, when examined on paper, is right in line with how ISIS plans attacks. And then there is the event itself. They say he was a “lone wolf”, yet a woman walked through the crowd warning people of danger. To  my mind, Stephen Paddock sounds just a like a black ops CIA agent who was killed by his other team members so they could have a fall guy to blame it on. One thing is for sure so far, though. Nothing coming from either the fake news media or the government is even remotely close to true. I’m actually waiting for the “warren report” to tell me about another “magic bullet”. That’s how much this whole thing stinks.

The media are either doing PR for the gambling industry or they don’t want anyone considering the possibility that Paddock was using gambling to launder money.

NBC News reports, with a straight face: “Las Vegas gunman earned millions as a gambler.” A Los Angeles Times article is headlined, “In the solitary world of video poker, Stephen Paddock knew how to win.” The story says that Paddock’s gambling “was at least a steady income over a period of years.”
I don’t know all the ins and outs of Paddock’s life, but that’s a lie.

How do reporters imagine casino owners make a living? Any ideas on how all those glorious lobbies, lights, pools, and fountains are paid for? How do they think Sheldon Adelson and Steve Wynn became billionaires if gambling is a winning proposition for people like Paddock — and therefore, by definition, a losing proposition for the casinos?

The media think about money the way Democrats do. They have absolutely no conception of where it originates. Those casino owners sure are generous! reporters think to themselves. Economist Thomas Sowell is always ridiculing journalists for not understanding basic economics. It turns out, they don’t understand the spreadsheet of a lemonade stand.

The New York Times explained that the “top” video poker machines pay out 99.17 percent. That’s great that Paddock was only losing cents on the dollar (if true), but it’s still losing. The Times quickly explained that he could have more than made up his losses with all the “comps” — the free rooms, meals and “50-year-old port that costs $500 a glass,” as his brother Eric said.
Does anyone believe the brother is telling the truth? I sure don’t:

Gamblers who are beating the house are not given $500 glasses of port. Refer to the profit/loss spreadsheet. And yet, according to his brother, Paddock was treated like royalty by the casinos. Which means he was losing.

Apart from outright theft, the only way to have an advantage over the casino is by card-counting. That’s not cheating and it doesn’t guarantee a win. It merely allows the gambler to make a more educated guess as each card is played, thereby tilting the odds ever so slightly in his favor. Still, if the casinos suspect a customer is counting cards, he will be promptly escorted off the premises.
The mysteries swirling around the ’32nd floor’ grow deeper by the minute:

Listen to the voiceover guy almost sensually utter the words “32nd floor” in the same velvety-tones they used to mention the “grassy knoll” in. The whole thing is dripping in phoniness.

And counting cards only helps with blackjack. Paddock’s game of choice was VIDEO POKER. That’s a computer! It’s programmed to ensure the house wins. Not all the time, but at least often enough to make casino owners multi-billionaires. Anyone who plays video poker over an extended period of time will absolutely, 100 percent, by basic logic, end up a net loser.

The most likely explanation is that the reporters and investigators are incompetent nitwits. But the changing facts from law enforcement and preposterous lies from the press aren’t doing a lot to tamp down alternative theories of the crime.
Among the questions not being asked by our wildly incurious media:

Why would Paddock unload 200 rounds into the hallway at a security guard who was checking on someone else’s room before beginning his massacre?
How can it possibly take eight days to figure out when the alleged shooter checked into the hotel?
Why was Paddock wearing gloves if he was about to commit suicide?
Have any other solitary mass shooters ever had girlfriends?

If Paddock wasn’t making money on video poker — and he wasn’t — why would he be cycling millions of dollars through a casino, turning every dollar into, at best, 99 cents?

Maybe Paddock enjoyed video poker. But if the allegedly serious media are going to keep telling us he was making a living doing it, they’re just begging us to say that losing a percent or two on millions of dollars doesn’t make sense as an investment strategy, but it does make sense as a money laundering operation.

And the probable illicit business requiring money to be laundered that leaps out at us in Paddock’s case is illegal gun sales. If true, it would not only explain the arsenal in his hotel room, but also raises the possibility of either an accomplice or different perpetrator altogether.

If this were a movie script, a terrorist would go to Paddock’s room on the pretense of buying guns, kill Paddock, commit the massacre, put his gunshot residue-covered gloves on Paddock’s dead hands and slip out of the room when the coast was clear.

According to the all-new timeline given by the Las Vegas police — pending a third revision — this is at least possible. The hallway was empty, except for a bleeding security guard down by the elevators, for at least two minutes after the shooting stopped. The stairwell was clear for more than half an hour. It also explains the gloves.

There’s no evidence for any of this, but on the other hand, there’s no evidence for the version the media are giving us. At least the movie script version doesn’t require us to pretend that Paddock was making “millions” from video poker. source

Fake News Backfires on Dems – Obama-Era Photos of Illegal Alien Children in Cages Deter Immigrants From Illegally Crossing Into US

The Democrats and their liberal media have been ranting nonstop since photos first surfaced several weeks ago of illegal immigrant children in cages.

The List Of CNN’s Bungled Reporting Is A Sight To Behold

Despite CNN’s assertion this week that it “does not lie,” the network has an extensive history of bungled reporting — some of which has gone uncorrected.

President Donald Trump called out CNN for its questionable report on his son’s 2016 Trump Tower meeting with the Russians, insisting that “CNN is being torn apart from within based on their being caught in a major lie and refusing to admit the mistake.”

“Make no mistake, Mr. President, CNN does not lie,” the network responded. “We report the news. And we report when people in power tell lies. CNN stands by our reporting and our reporters.”

While CNN is standing by its July 27 report claiming Michael Cohen was prepared to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting in advance, a number of factors have called their reporting into question. (RELATED: CNN’s Quadruple Down On Dubious Trump Tower Story Leaves Out Key Details)

Unfortunately for CNN, the Trump Tower story isn’t their first fling with dubious or just flat-out wrong reporting.

The following list details 20 additional stories that CNN has bungled following the rise of Trump.
1. Scaramucci Slip

CNN retracted a story in June of 2016 claiming that former Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci was under investigation by Congress for his alleged ties to Russia. (RELATED: CNN Retracts Story About Trump Adviser Being Under Investigation)

The story relied on one anonymous congressional source and CNN apologized to Scaramucci for the error. Three CNN reporters ended up resigning from the company over the botched report.
2. Trump Jr. Collusion

CNN reported in December of 2017 that Donald Trump Jr. received special access to documents stolen by WikiLeaks on Sept. 4, 2016. However, Donald Trump Jr. actually was emailed about the documents on Sept. 14, 2016 — a day after they were already available to the general public. (RELATED: CNN Botches Major ‘Bombshell’ Alleging Contacts Between Don Jr. And WikiLeaks)

CNN updated the report but still has not explained how two sources managed to give them the wrong date on the email.
3. 17 Intel Agencies Lie

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said during a congressional hearing in May that three intelligence agencies — the CIA, NSA and the FBI — concluded that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.

Nonetheless, CNN has repeatedly claimed that all 17 intelligence agencies came to the same conclusion about Russian meddling. CNN’s claim is pure nonsense, as the Department of Energy, Department of the Treasury, and Drug Enforcement Agency, among others, would have no authority to make any assertions about Russian meddling in elections.
4. Comey Testimony Crumbles

On June 6, 2017, CNN reported that former FBI director James Comey would contradict President Donald Trump’s claim that he was not under investigation.

When the time came for Comey to release his opening statement for his congressional testimony, he actually ended up confirming Trump’s account. (RELATED: Comey Confirms: Trump Wasn’t Under FBI Investigation)

“This article was published before Comey released his prepared opening statement. The article and headline have been corrected to reflect that Comey does not directly dispute that Trump was told multiple times he was not under investigation in his prepared testimony released after this story was published,” CNN corrected.
5. Trump’s Fish Food

When President Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe last November, the pair took part in a koi fish feeding ceremony. A video posted by CNN appeared to show Trump dumping his entire box of food into the koi pond unprompted. (RELATED: Journalists Slam Trump For Copying Fish Food Dump)

An unedited video revealed that Trump was simply following the lead of Abe, who emptied his box of food first.
6. A Clean Bill Of Health

In May of 2017 when Republicans were authoring a new health care bill, CNN claimed that GOP changes to Obamacare could make **** and sexual assault pre-existing conditions.

PolitiFact rated that claim “mostly false,” explaining that “the bill does not change what is or is not a pre-existing condition; the health insurance companies write those definitions for themselves.”
7. Officer Cuomo

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo inexplicably said in October of 2016 that possessing WikiLeaks stolen documents is “illegal,” but insisted it’s “different for the media.”

“Also interesting is, remember, it’s illegal to possess these stolen documents. It’s different for the media. So everything you learn about this, you’re learning from us,” Cuomo said.

According to The Washington Post, it is not illegal to possess or distribute illegally obtained material so long as you were not involved in the original hack.
8. Just Tap It In

CNN originally denounced Trump’s claim in March of 2017 that former President Barack Obama was wiretapping phones in Trump Tower as a “flat-out lie.”

Then, in September of 2017, CNN reported that the FBI had a wiretap on former campaign chairman Paul Manafort — who has a residence in Trump Tower.

While it is unclear if the FBI tapped Manafort’s phones in Trump Tower or picked up his conversations with the president, it’s plausible enough that CNN should not be dismissing Trump’s claims out of hand. (RELATED: CNN Reporter: Trump’s Wiretap Tweets Still Not Plausible)
9. Zeleny’s Folly

CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny tweeted on July 31, 2018, that President Trump had not taken questions from reporters in at least a week.

Just one day prior to Zeleny’s tweet, Trump answered questions during a joint news conference with the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
10. Republicans Did (NOT) Fund The Dossier

The salacious and unverified Steele dossier was paid for by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, but that hasn’t stopped CNN from pinning the document on the GOP. (RELATED: Media Still Pinning Dossier On Republicans)

Former Obama official and current CNN reporter Jim Sciutto was just one network talking-head who claimed the dossier was “initially paid for by Republicans.”

While Republicans bought standard opposition research from Fusion GPS, they stopped paying the firm well before it ever contracted with Christopher Steele to compile the anti-Trump dossier.
11. If You Build It, They Will Lie

CNN claimed that only Democratic members of Congress gathered to pray before the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game — the first game after House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was shot and nearly killed. (RELATED: CNN Incorrectly States Only Dems Prayed At Congressional Baseball Game)

Pictures of the prayer circle clearly show both Democrats and Republicans praying together, and CNN eventually deleted their tweet claiming otherwise.
12. CNN Gets Hit With A Cruz Missile

After the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, CNN media reporter Brian Stelter accused Republican congressmen of being “scared” to come on the network to debate gun control. Anchor Chris Cuomo specifically called out Texas Senator Ted Cruz for not rising to the challenge.

As it turns out, Sen. Cruz had done a 15 minute interview with CNN earlier that day. He blasted the network for airing “NONE” of his interview and noted that he had previously done three town hall debates on CNN with Senator Bernie Sanders. 13. Silly Stelter!

CNN media reporter Brian Stelter accused the Republican National Committee of “misquoting” him in an ad attacking the credibility of Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury.”

“Real factual errors … makes you wonder about the overall content,” Stelter was quoted as saying.

Stelter did utter those words during a CNN International television hit and quickly deleted his accusatory tweet.

“I stand corrected: I thought this RNC ad misquoted me, but the quote came from a @CNNI TV hit,” Stelter admitted.
14. These Boots Were Made For Correctin’

Nancy Sinatra made a quick joke about her late father’s song, “My Way,” being used at Trump’s Inauguration in January 2017. She tweeted in response to the news to “just remember the first line of the song” — which is, “And now, the end is near.”

CNN spun Sinatra’s tweet into an article claiming she was “not happy” about Trump using her father’s song at the Inauguration.

“That’s not true. I never said that. Why do you lie, CNN?” Sinatra asserted. “What a rotten spin to put on a harmless joke.”
15. School Shooting Slip-Up

After a May shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas, CNN reporters immediately began claiming that there were 22 school shootings on the year. (RELATED: CNN Re-Ups False 22 School Shootings Stat)

However, CNN wildly exaggerates the number of school shootings by using methodology that includes accidental firearm discharges on school property, domestic disputes, and other non-active shooter events.

For example, one listed shooting at Savannah State University in Georgia involved just two people, neither of whom were students.
16. Where’s Melania?

Multiple CNN reporters ridiculously speculated about the whereabouts of Melania Trump after a scheduled kidney surgery and then denied responsibility for any conspiracy theories about the first lady. (RELATED: CNN Reporters Shirk Responsibility For Melania Conspiracies)

Media reporter Brian Stelter led his “Reliable Sources” newsletter on June 3rd with the headline “Melania M.I.A,” and insisted the first lady’s whereabouts were a “mystery” because she had not been seen in public since May 10.

While Stelter blamed random internet commenters for specific conspiracy theories about plastic surgery or a move back to NYC, CNN repeated such theories in an article and even asked Melania’s spokesperson to comment on them.
17. Fake News About Fake News

CNN cited a study from the Oxford Internet Institute to claim that fake news targeted swing states during the 2016 presidential election.

However, as The Daily Caller first reported, the study says nothing of the sort. (RELATED: Mainstream Media Reporting About Twitter ‘Fake News’ Is 100% False)

The researchers in the study were talking about “junk news,” not “fake news” — and their definition of junk news includes mainstream conservative sites like The Washington Examiner and Breitbart News. A deep dive into the study thus reveals that Twitter users didn’t receive nearly as much “fake news” as CNN initially claimed to readers.
18. Trump (Not) Ignorant About Japanese Cars

CNN Money’s Daniel Shane accused President Trump of not knowing that Japan makes cars in the United States, writing, “Trump asks Japan to build cars in the U.S. It already does.”

During the president’s November visit to Japan, he told Japan Inc, “Try building your cars in the United States instead of shipping them over. Is that possible to ask?”

However, when reading his full remarks — which Shane left out — it is clear that the president was making a joke and knows that Japanese manufacturers make cars in the U.S. (RELATED: CNN Spreads Two Fake Narratives During Trump Visit To Japan)

Shane ended up issuing a correction on his article.
19. Hands Up, Fake News

A CNN panel consisting of Margaret Hoover, Sally Kohn, Sunny Hostin and Mel Robbins displayed the “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture in 2014 while talking about marches against police violence.

The gesture seemed to be a reference to the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

While initial reports speculated that Brown had his hands up when he was shot by Darren Wilson, the DOJ concluded in a report in 2015 that physical and forensic evidence showed Brown’s hands could not have been above his waist.
20. Peace Be With You

CNN deceptively edited a video of Sherelle Smith and Kimberly Neal, the sisters of an unarmed black man who was shot by police. The network claimed the two sisters were “calling for peace” amidst riots in their neighborhood.

“Don’t bring that violence here,’ [Kimberly] Neal, his other sister, said while sobbing,” CNN’s report said.

However, in a longer video, Sherelle says, “Y’all burning down s—t we need in our community. Take that s—t to the suburbs. Burn that s—t down. We need our s—t. We need our weaves. I don’t wear it. But we need it.”

CNN removed the portion of their report about Sherelle and owned up to their error.

“An earlier version of this story mischaracterized what the victim’s sister was trying to convey. She was calling for peace in her community, urging the protesters to go elsewhere,” CNN told The Washington Examiner.
