Don't be surprised if the 2016 GOP candidate is a sodomite, FWIW...

When 'Forrest Gump' Stumbled Into the '90s Culture Wars
7/1/14

This weekend is the 20th anniversary of the release of Forrest Gump, Robert Zemeckis’s comedy-drama about the simple-minded title character (Tom Hanks) who recounts his tale of bumbling again and again into the biggest events of the late 20th century. The movie, which opened on July 6, 1994, became an immediate phenomenon: It took in close to $700 million worldwide; won six Oscars, including best picture and best actor for Hanks; had a twelve-time platinum-selling soundtrack; and even inspired a chain of seafood-slinging restaurants named Bubba Gump Shrimp.

As big as the movie became, though, not many people remember how politically divisive it was at the time. For all of Forrest’s brushes with power, the movie overlooks the feminist movement. And the onscreen treatment of the counterculture in general isn’t exactly glowing. While Forrest plays college football, joins the Army, and starts a business, his childhood sweetheart, Jenny (Robin Wright), becomes a folk-singing stripper, then an anti-war hippie, and then a hard-partying drug addict before dying of what’s presumed to be AIDS. Some viewers took her tragic end to be a form of punishment for her earlier choices.

The film happened to hit at a tumultuous time in American politics. When it was released, President Bill Clinton and the Democrats were suffering in the polls; this culminated in an electoral rout in the midterm elections that November when the Republicans took control of both the House and the Senate for the first time since the 1950s. Forrest Gump was the film everyone was talking about, and it was soon adopted as a mascot of this Republican Revolution, name checked by both the new speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, and future presidential candidate Bob Dole as a film that upheld “traditional family values.”

The film’s creators were adamant that it was an apolitical piece of work. Hanks told film critic Joe Leydon, “I don’t think we’re saying anything more than that was a time of great confusion, and everybody was yelling at one another.” But the right embraced it nonetheless: In a speech to a Republican women’s group, Gingrich said that “in every scene of the movie in which the counterculture occurs, they’re either dirty, nasty, abusive, vindictive, beating a woman or doing something grotesque. It’s important to remember that in that period, Bill Clinton was on the side of the counterculture.” Meanwhile, over at the left-leaning The Nation, Stuart Klawans attacked the film, writing, “War, racism, child abuse, poverty, political murder, death by AIDS — we drift through them all, says the movie, at no cost beyond a passing tear…. We drift, because like Forrest, America is simple and good.”

In the two decades that have passed, American political life has become even more combative. With some distance, though, it feels as though the politics of Forrest Gump are a little more complicated than most suggested at the time. The treatment of Jenny and the counterculture still feels somewhat reactionary and sour, but there’s also a gentle humanism to the film: Forrest’s innocence means that he doesn’t judge anyone, and he’s particularly progressive in his attitudes about race. (One of the film’s neat visual jokes is Forrest’s gift of Bubba Gump Shrimp profits to Bubba’s mother — which allows her to quit her job as a cook and hire a white servant of her own.) And there’s even a quietly satirical edge to the film’s approach to the Establishment: The Army mostly uses Forrest as a pawn and tries to sabotage his big speech at the antiwar protest.

The film isn’t exactly a celebration of the American dream, either. Forrest, ever the holy fool, stumbles into his success, making his fortune only because all the other shipping boats are wrecked in a storm, and increasing it only because his friend invests in the then-fledgling Apple, which he thinks is a fruit company. The film’s worldview doesn’t reward exceptionalism — it rewards sheer dumb luck. That’s something that even commentators at the time noticed. The right-leaning think tank the Foundation for Economic Education called it “a tacit anti-commerce message.” If you’re annoying both sides of the political divide, you might be doing something right.

Two decades on, it feels as though Hanks and Zemeckis were right to suggest that the film didn’t endorse one particular political philosophy over another. One of the movie’s most memorable scenes is when Forrest, in his military uniform, and Jenny, in her bohemian flower garb, embrace in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool by the Washington Monument. The late, great, Roger Ebert wrote at the time that the two were “like a dream of reconciliation for our society.” And with political discourse more bitter and divided than ever 20 years later, that dream remains a long story that’s worth listening to.

Update: As many of you noted, Forrest is present during the integration of the University of Alabama. This piece has been updated accordingly.

http://ephesians511blog.net/2014/06/15/hbo-presents-a-rapture-with-hindus-buddhists-muslims-and-jews-being-raptured/
6/15/14
HBO presents a “Rapture” with the Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and Jewish being raptured

1 Timothy 4:1 - “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”

On June 29, 2014 HBO will present a pilot episode of the series “The Leftovers” based on a 2011 book by the same name. This series will present a “Rapture” that has the Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and Jewish being raptured (SOURCE) even though the show is more about the aftermath.

How Masonic is that idea? It almost sounds like the Freemason doctrine of Billy Graham (SOURCE) where Billy Graham states Freemason Doctrine on Robert Schuller’s May 31, 1997 “Hour of Power” TV broadcast-

“That’s what God is doing today. He’s calling people for out of the world for His name whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world, uh they are members of the body of Christ because they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but uh they know in their heart that they need something that they don’t have and they turn to the only light that they have and I think they are saved and that they’re going to be with us in Heaven.”

The Freemason Doctrine right from Chapter 6 of the Manly P Hall “The Lost Keys of Freemasonry” Freemason document -

http://www.manlyphall.org/text/the-lost-keys-of-freemasonry/chapter-vi-the-qualifications-of-a-true-mason/

FYI on the image above, that link has been removed since we first posted it in the March 28, 2014 article.

Hollywood is a place where global seducing, deceiving spirits are being produced and deployed.

The Masonic Knight Templar Tim LaHaye “Left Behind” trailer with Nicholas Cage (Remember when Nicholas Cage did the pro-Masonic movie “National Treasure”? Hmmmm. Freemasons say he has done at least six pro-Masonic movies.)

The whole “Leftovers” series are ten episodes with the last one on August 29, 2014, over a month before the “Left Behind” movie release. (SOURCE)

We know the self-proclaimed-false-Messiah Sun Myung-Moon financial recipient,Tim LaHaye, had the Pope being raptured in the “Left Behind” series and now we have the Masonic idea of the Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and Jewish being raptured.

Remember Tim LaHaye has the ecumenical Masonic Knight Templar symbol on the front of his book “Power of the Cross“-

So in either case “Left Behind” and “The Leftovers” are wrong biblically from a basic salvation standpoint.

We need to remember all those who deny Jesus is the Messiah came in the flesh is antichrist.

1 John 2:22 - “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah)? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

2 John 1:7 - “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ (The Messiah) is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.”

So the Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and Jewish all deny that Jesus is the Messiah and are antichrist by the Biblical definition. Roman Catholics accepted all the world’s religions back on October 28, 1965 below -

http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decl_19651028_nostra-aetate_en.html

There is only ONE who is Holy and True and it’s not what the anti-Biblical “praying to the dead” Vatican states -

Revelation 16:10 - “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”

No matter what your end times view is, there is much ecumenical one-world-religion type confusion being thrown at this.

We think of 2 Peter 3:2-4 -

2 Peter 3:2-4 - “That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

It almost seems the “Leftovers” series is meant more for the unbeliever and the “Left Behind” movie is meant more for the believer. Either way, the timing of both of these are very suspect, this is not a coincidence.

Is this a setup to create a world of scoffers?

Either way we still must obey Matthew 24:4 -

Matthew 24:3-4 - “And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.“

We all need to take care of today, we are all one heartbeat away.

Believers in the NT Church Age will be raptured before the 7 year time of Jacob's trouble hits - but nonetheless you have to wonder if this time period will send everyone back to the stone ages...

https://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/tv-news/sneak-peek--there-s-a-lack-of-communication-on--girl-meets-world-221214640.html
There's a Lack of Communication on 'Girl Meets World'
7/12/14

Get ready for a serious communication breakdown on Girl Meets World. On the heels of the huge ratings success of this Disney Channel sitcom's premiere comes the highly anticipated second episode, "Girl Meets Boy," and Yahoo TV has an exclusive clip.

Talk about living in the dark ages. In the above preview, strict history teacher Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) decides to teach his students an old school lesson by taking away their cellphones as part of a homework assignment. Not only that — he also declares, no computers either. In fact, he expects his students to do their research at the New York Public Library. Where is this guy from, the '90s or something?

But will this teacher's homework assignment — let's just call it History Unplugged — turn out to be an epic fail? An episode description reveals that Cory's assignment inadvertently brings his daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and her cute guy friend Lucas (Peyton Meyer) closer together. We're pretty sure that wasn't his goal!

While Mr. Matthews won't allow any high-tech communication, the stars of the show communicated to us about the new episode.

"I'm most excited for people to see this week's episode because it teaches incredible lessons on the [upsides] and downsides of technology," series star Blanchard told Yahoo TV.

And Sabrina Carpenter, who plays her BFF, Maya, on the sitcom, hinted at a surprise for her character: "My favorite part about this week's episode is that Maya's hidden talent is revealed!"

First off - this particular series came out in the same decade not only when that New Age "Star Wars" was released, but also when the NIV bible was put out in the market(1970's). It was as if both "Star Wars" and "Rocky" were franchises planned out in ADVANCE.

Anyhow - if anything, this series of movies put out messages of just that...that "deadly head wound" that gets (miraculously)healed, and then "all the world wonders after the beast...".

High school scrimmage postponed due to threat of 'Louisville Purge'
8/15/14

A scheduled football scrimmage between Louisville high schools was moved from Friday night to Saturday morning because school officials feared threats to bring "The Purge" movie to life, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

On Saturday, Louisville Metro Police told the paper they spoke with the student who told duPont Manual High School's student newspaper that he posted the threat on social media as "a fun thing."

But Dwight Mitchell, a police spokesman, said the department continued investigating threats that were made in response.

"We don't know if it's a hoax or not," Mitchell told the Courier-Journal.

Simon Kenton coach Jeff Marksberry said safety was behind the decision to delay the scrimmage with St. Xavier.

"Bottom line, we don't know the seriousness of the threat," he said. "We're an hour and a half from home. If something does happen, the safety of our kids and staff and everybody else is of the utmost importance for us."

In the movie, which has spawned a summer sequel, there is a fictitious 12-hour period in which all crime becomes legal. In this span, a mob kills people.

The sheriff's office in Jacksonville, Fla., disclosed Wednesday it is looking into similar threats, and the Courier-Journal said rumors of a purge in Detroit are spreading on social media.

According to the paper, the "Louisville Purge" was schedule to take place between 8 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Watch ISIS’s Hollywood movie trailer goading U.S. to again invade Iraq

ISIS is an amalgam consisting of disaffected youth, displaced Iraqi and Syrian opposition fighters, and anti-Western fundamentalists. It is a relatively small force, and has only enjoyed the military successes it enjoys because of the weakness of its adversaries. ISIS is a group unworthy of much of the awe they have inspired in the West.

It is, however, an organization that does seek to function more like a state than a terrorist organization. ISIS has organized municipal services and humanitarian services. It collects taxes and fields a police force which enforces Sharia law. It provides water, electricity, and sewage to its residents. It produces oil and petroleum products and sells them on the black market for a reported $3 million per day in revenues. Perhaps most consequentially, ISIS has a propaganda arm as sophisticated as anything Goebbels ever managed.

For example, the Islamic State released a trailer on Wednesday for a new movie entitled Flames of War. It looks as well produced and action-packed as anything Michael Bay ever directed:

Most disturbingly, the minute-long trailer prominently features President Barack Obama assuring the nation that American ground forces will not be participating in combat operations against ISIS. The president’s insistence is juxtaposed with footage of American forces encountering resistance while serving in Iraq in the last decade.

The viewer is left with the impression that the Islamic State is eager to create the impression that the United States fears engaging ISIS on their terms. That is, no doubt, the propagandist message the terror group wants to project.

Whether Americans or ISIS likes it or not, U.S. ground forces may soon be again seeing combat in Iraq. On Tuesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey conceded that there were some circumstances that would lead him to recommend to the president sending American troops to serve in a combat advisory role alongside Kurdish and Iraqi forces. If the president’s strategy aimed at rolling back ISIS in Iraq and containing them in Syria is to be believed, those circumstances will soon arise.

As we all know, the entertainment industry likes to telegraph their punches via predictive programming(ie-planes crashing in tower buildings months/years before 9/11 happened in movies and tv shows).

This is JMHO - but I feel they do the same thing in sports games. This is the 3rd time in FIVE years the San Francisco Giants won the World Series.

Madison Bumgarner pitches Giants to World Series championship in classic Game 7
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/madison-bumgarner-pitches-giants-to-world-series-championship-in-classic-game-7-032618613.html
10/29/14

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Up stood Madison Bumgarner at 8:46 p.m. CT, lurking in the San Francisco Giants' bullpen like a mythical creature: the wingspan of a Cthulhu, the power of a Minotaur, the snarl of a Werewolf. He entered Game 7 of the World Series 11 minutes later in the bottom of the fifth inning, and the Giants' hopes for a third championship in five years rode on the power of his left arm.

Over the next 85 minutes, Bumgarner did what Bumgarner does, even in an unfamiliar relief-pitching role: completely shut down teams, rob them of their will and skill, and deliver gold-and-diamond rings to the modern dynasty by the Bay.

The Giants beat the Kansas City Royals 3-2 to win the World Series at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night in an action-packed, tense, crackerjack of a ballgame that featured both teams' managers using their top-end relief pitchers to turn a back-and-forth early outing into a scoreboard replete with zeroes in the late innings.

At the center of it all – at the center of everything this postseason – stood Bumgarner, the 25-year-old from North Carolina who in his five major league seasons already has established himself as one of the great pitchers in postseason history. His numbers this October defy belief – 1.02 ERA in 55 2/3 innings – and Bumgarner saved his finest of his series MVP performance for a five-inning lockdown in Game 7 that earned him the victory.

[Photos: Best of Giants-Royals in World Series Game 7]

Working on just two days’ rest after throwing a four-hit shutout in Game 5, Bumgarner worked his way around a leadoff single to retire the Royals on a swinging strikeout by Lorenzo Cain in his first inning. From there, he cruised: a 1-2-3 frame in the sixth, another in the seventh, and the eighth, and finally the ninth, when he yielded a two-out single to Alex Gordon that center fielder Gregor Blanco compounded with a two-base error.

With Gordon on third, Salvador Perez popped a two-strike pitch into foul territory. Pable Sandoval squeezed it for the final out, a capper to one of the most impressive postseason runs in baseball history.

Bumgarner was in the game for as long as he was only because of Giants starter Tim Hudson's struggles. The starting pitchers lasted a combined five innings, with Giants manager Bruce Bochy yanking Hudson after a shaky 1 2/3 in which he allowed a pair of runs on an Gordon double and an Omar Infante sacrifice fly. It knotted the game at two after a pair of Giants sacrifice flies in the top of the second off Royals starter Jeremy Guthrie staked San Francisco to an early advantage and quieted the decibel-smashing levels of the 40,535-person crowd.

Royals manager Ned Yost pulled Guthrie in the fourth inning with runners on first and third and one out. Kelvin Herrera, one of the Royals' trio of ace relievers, allowed a broken-bat single to Mike Morse that scored Sandoval for what became the winning run.

Far from a classic series, Game 7 turned into a classic affair, tense throughout, emotions volleying between early excitement and late resignation. Despite the yeoman's effort from Herrera (2 2/3 scoreless innings), Wade Davis (two scoreless) and Greg Holland (a zero in the top of the ninth), Bumgarner was even better, following Jeremy Affeldt's 2 1/3 scoreless innings with the neutering of a Royals lineup that a day earlier erupted for 10 runs in a Game 6 blowout.

What was supposed to be a matchup of managerial wits turned into the reliance on one incredible arm and one luminescent performance, reminiscent of Randy Johnson coming on to win Game 7 of the 2001 World Series in relief after taking the victory in Game 6.

Madison Bumgarner was no myth. He was the most real thing in the building.

Speaking of the conditioning of the whole sodomite/transgender movement...

The 1990's was the decade of the "chick flick"(where ultimately girlfriends/wives would end up dragging their boyfriends/husbands to these movies). It was also the decade where the movie market just expanded in a BIG way(ie-prior to that, no more than 1 or 2 movies would be released per week, and only 1-2 per month were high profile. But during the time period from thereon, up to 3-4 movies per week would be released, with at least 1 high profile movie every week).

Ultimately, they would end up positioning the release dates of these "chick flicks" with these big, over-hyped "blockbuster" movies as a "counter-programming" marketing(where these "blockbuster" movies would get the younger crowd, and these "chick flicks" would get the dating/older crowd).

Pt I'm trying to drive home is that these "chick flicks" have a VERY effeminate feel to them - no, they didn't promote sodomy per se, but I watched a number of these movies during this time period, and even I came out with this very tender, soft, and effeminate feel. For example, do you remember the 1998 Julia Roberts/Susan Sarandon movie "Stepmom"? Even guys admitted they cried during this movie!

But yeah - just pointing out how craftily Hellywood has been in pushing this sodomy agenda - no, they didn't just do it with pro-"homosexual" movies like "Philadephia" or "The Birdcage" - but alot of these "feel-goody" stuff like the 90's stuff and Hallmark has this very craftily evil spirit working.

Ultimately - we need to be very discerning over what we put in front of our eyes and ears. B/c alot of it isn't what you think it is...

2Corinthians 11:14  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Last night, I was watching a 1990's Dick Van Dyke detective mystery show, "Diagnosis for Murder"(episode aired around 1998).

Toward the end, the villain said "I couldn't even get health insurance". And another character responded, "with pre-existing conditions?".

Make no mistake - Obamacare/ACA has been in the works for MANY years - this was yet another example of predictive programming years in advance.

I didn't see this movie, but did this 1979 film say anything about forced vaccinations and GMOs? NOT!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son-Rise:_A_Miracle_of_Love

Son-Rise: A Miracle of Love is a televised docudrama film that aired on NBC in 1979 and is adapted by the biographical book Son-Rise (currently Son-Rise: The Miracle Continues) by Barry Neil Kaufman. It is the real life story of how, according to his parents, Raun Kaufman completely recovered from severe autism.[2] The film was directed by Glenn Jordan and the teleplay was written by Stephen Kandel, Samahria Lyte Kaufman, and Barry Neil Kaufman.[3]

The film tells of Bears and Suzie Kaufman and their newly born son, Raun. By the time he was eighteen months old, Raun was diagnosed with a perpetual disability known as classic autism—which, at the time, was classified as a form of childhood schizophrenia—and had mental retardation. Accordingly, "although advised to institutionalize Raun, his parents...instead created an innovative home-based, child-centered program in an effort to reach [him]."[2] Subsequently, Raun became typical of neural development and earned his master's degree from Brown University.[2] The film went onto receive the Humanitas Prize award.

The therapeutic, distraction play therapy progressed into a teaching model called The Son-Rise Program. By 1983, Bears and Samahria Kaufman founded The Option Institute and the Autism Treatment Center of America in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Raun, his family and other staff members currently serve on the board of directors.[4]

Plot[edit]
Raun was born "like all, perfect" to Bears and Suzi Kaufman.[1] Eventually his parents noticed that Raun could only see certain things and sometimes hear. He also lost a couple of words that he had been taught.[5] He had 12 out of 13 symptoms of autism. Medical professionals were pessimistic about Raun's condition.[1] The only options offered to the Kaufmans at the time was institutionalization or involvement in a behavior modification program that included aversive therapy — for example, spanking and electrical shock treatment. His parents also witnessed young children being locked into cabinets by clinicians; other children had their hands tied to the back of chairs for hand-flapping, a self-stimulatory behavior common to autism.

The Kaufmans decided to work with Raun, although he had not yet reached the age of two.[5] The Kaufmans' utilized their downstairs restroom which was the only place free of distractions.[citation needed] When Raun flapped his hands and spun plates so did Suzi and Bears — joining Raun. After Suzi spun plates with Raun for several months, Raun looked directly at Suzi and smiled for the first time since Raun had become autistic.[5] Other forms of contact Raun made included crying when he was thirsty for juice.[5] Raun's mother worked with him for a total of 70 to 80 hours a week and his father sold his advertising agency to have more time to work with his son. The Kaufmans' work was successful.[1] At the end of the film, Raun was six years old and known as "a happy, active, bright, and loving normal boy."[1]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Considering this movie was made in 1979 - for many years after that, yes, autism children were (likely intentionally)diagnosed as some other (bogus)"mental illness", and were either institutionalized or put on some other form of abusive regiment. Electric shock treatment? Isn't this what showbiz and sports celebs/athletes get via their MK Ultra Mind Control programs?

Again, this movie served as predictive programming.

Like I said before - I'm a staunch supporter of being proactive in terms of warning about autism(ie-forced vaccinations and GMOs that cause/feed into it). And I don't doubt that this program has had a very good success rate.

But nonetheless what really disturbs me is that they are NOT pointing these people to our LORD Jesus Christ and his word(the King James Bible) - but instead are pointing them into the broad paths that lead to destruction. Like this particular program seems to be doing - they call it "Son-Rise"...seriously, isn't this a blasphemous title?

Treating Autism, Aspergers and Other Developmental Disorders

Welcome to the Autism Treatment Center of America™, the worldwide teaching center for The Son-Rise Program® , a powerful, effective and totally unique treatment for children and adults challenged by Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome , and other developmental difficulties.

Son-Rise Program® Family Journeys Produced by Sean Fitzgerald.

Click here to see Caspian’s Journey with his Son-Rise Program

The Son-Rise Program is different than - even opposite to - almost everything you've been told to do to help your child. Most schools and therapists, too, are operating on a deep misconception about what autism is and what works to treat it.

Traditional methods see autism as a disorder that is primarily behavioral (some even have the word "behavior" in their name). They seek to eliminate or extinguish unwanted behaviors and promote wanted behaviors through repetition, training, and rewards.

With over 30 years of experience working with more than 25,000 parents, children, and professionals from over 85 different countries, we understand that autism is, at its core, a social relational disorder. Fundamentally, our children, regardless of whether they are not yet verbal or have Asperger's Syndrome, have difficulty connecting to, relating to, and communicating with others. Sure, our children may have behaviors that look different, but these are symptoms, not causes, and trying to stamp them out is not the answer.

The Son-Rise Program is an alternative autism treatment based upon the idea that the children show us the way in, and then we show them the way out.

This means that, rather than trying for force our children to conform to a world that they don't yet understand, we join them in their world first.

We have seen that children on the autism spectrum can:

  • Learn to speak, even if they've never spoken.
Experience real happiness, satisfaction, and love, even if they seem frustrated or combative right now.
Have deep, meaningful, caring relationships with others, even though they may have appeared disconnected for years.
Have fun, reciprocal conversations, even if they have a history of rigid communication.
Make close friends, even if they don't start with the interest or the tools to do so.
Live a life that may include college, dates, sports, jobs, hobbies, travel, girlfriends/boyfriends - regardless of how many of these life experiences their parents have been told were simply not possible.
We do not put limits on the possibilities for your child.

We can help you to bring your child as far across the bridge from Autism to recovery as possible. For some, this means complete recovery. For others, this means improvements in their child's development, human connection, communication, skill acquisition and quality of life far beyond what most would have ever predicted

We can provide help for Autism and teach you to:

  • Establish a warm, interactive rapport with your child.
    Implement effective educational techniques.
Enable your child to move beyond repetitive “stimming” behaviors.
Move through challenging behaviors (such as tantrums or hitting).
Become a confident teacher and advocate for your child.
Motivate your child to learn–and to enjoy learning.
    Optimize your child's learning environment.
    Jump-start speech and language development.
Relax and have fun–without giving up what you want for yourself and your child.
Recruit and train a team of volunteers and helpers.
Find a sense of peace and comfort with your child's present challenges.
Create and sustain an attitude of hope and optimism about your child's future.

You're not giving up on your child. Neither are we.

Like I said, I don't doubt that this Son-Rise program institution has a high success rate - but nonetheless it's very vexing when I hear testimonies of these ex-autism people more or less saying they've taken the broad path in this world(and not the narrow path, which is in our LORD Jesus Christ).

This is a 9 minute clip of one of these people - it sounds very secular humanist, and "I shall be as a god" to boot.

Was just reading about Kent Hovind being transferred to a maximum security prison in MS. Subsequently, this movie I saw in high school popped up in my head...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lock_Up_%28film%29

Lock Up is a 1989 American prison action film directed by John Flynn. The film stars Sylvester Stallone and Donald Sutherland. The film was released in the United States on August 4, 1989.

Frank Leone, a skilled mechanic and football player in Hoboken, New Jersey, is a model prisoner nearing the end of his sentence in Norwood, a low security prison. He occasionally spends time outside prison in his garage fixing cars, playing football and spending time with his girlfriend Melissa.

One night, while sleeping in his cell, guards arrive and forcibly take Leone to maximum security Gateway Prison run by Warden Drumgoole. Drumgoole explains to him, that he will serve hard time, because he escaped once from Treadmore and did so on Drumgoole's watch. He escaped because his mentor and friend was dying; Leone was refused even one hour to see him so Leone escaped to visit him and went to the press about the warden's treatment of his prisoners, resulting in Drumgoole's transfer to Gateway and Leone serving five additional years in minimum security before his transfer.

Did 'The Simpsons' predict the Cardinals' hacking scandal?
6/18/15

Over its 26 year run, "The Simpsons" has covered as wide range of topics. One of the topics the show has done extremely well is sports. Whether it's bringing in guest stars, or creating entire episodes (like Homer at the Bat), the show has always done a great job capturing humor in athletic competition.

In fact, the writers may have been too good at coming up with sports storylines. Turns out, they may have predicted the whole St. Louis Cardinals hacking scandal years before it actually happened.

Let's review the evidence:

That clip, by the way, comes from the episode "Brother's Little Helper." It premiered back in 1999.

The prediction isn't 100 percent correct, but it's pretty close. In the clip, Major League Baseball was spying on everyone. The spying wasn't focused on the Cardinals. It is curious, however, that the player who shows up to represent MLB is former Cards star Mark McGwire. Is that merely a coincidence, or did the writers know something sinister would happen in St. Louis years later?

[Check out Big League Stew on Tumblr for even more baseball awesomeness.]

A few years later, the show "South Park" produced an episode titled "Simpsons Already Did It." The focus of the episode covered the fact that "The Simpsons" have basically covered every possible story during their lengthy run. In this instance, that appears to be accurate.

At the same time, we don't remember an episode about the Kansas City All-Star game voting controversy, or the prediction of the apocalypse when A-Rod reaches 3,000 hits. When "The Simpsons" predict those things, let us know.

10/21/15
Welcome, 'Back to the Future' Day

(CNN)"Back to the Future" Day has finally arrived.

In "Back to the Future Part II," Marty McFly travels to October 21, 2015, to save his children, yet to be born in "Back to the Future's" 1985.

The plot gets tangled -- by fixing one thing, McFly and Doc Brown (and the villainous Biff Tannen) create a number of new messes -- but what remains is the film's vision of a year that was still more than a quarter-century away when the movie was shot and released in 1989. The entire trilogy is even being rereleased Wednesday, so you can see for yourself.

The film's record isn't bad, given that director Robert Zemeckis wasn't pleased with setting part of "Back to the Future II" in 2015.

"I always hated -- and I still don't like -- movies about the future," he says in a new book, "Back to the Future: The Ultimate Visual History." "I just think they're impossible, and somebody's always keeping score."

What 'Back to the Future' got right about 2015 03:30
In the Internet age, Zemeckis has grounds for concern. Over the past few years, Photoshopped images of "Future's" DeLorean time machine have popped up on the Web, insisting that TODAY is "Back to the Future Day." And now that the day has actually arrived, there have been countless articles (like, frankly, this one) and videos about what the film and its screenwriter, Bob Gale, got right about 2015.

What did 'Back to the Future II' get right?

As with other movies dealing with the future, such as "2001: A Space Odyssey" (set in the early 2000s) or "Blade Runner" (set in 2019, which will be here before you know it), the predictions of "Back to the Future II" are hit or miss: big-screen TVs, yes, Mr. Fusion, no; virtual-reality goggles, yes, "Jaws 19," no.

The story behind the car that made time travel stylish

Coincidentally, perhaps the most important invention in the film is one behind the scenes: the VistaGlide motion-control system, a computer-operated camera operation that enabled Michael J. Fox to seamlessly share all those scenes with himself. The software was written by an Industrial Light & Magic developer, Bill Tondreau, specifically for the movie and was a milestone in moviemaking technology.

Still, it says something about the popularity of the trilogy that here we are, 26 years after the release of "Back to the Future II" (and 30 years after "Back to the Future"), and we care enough to "keep score." Even "Back to the Future" stars Fox and Christopher Lloyd discuss the topic in a new Toyota ad.

Elijah Wood, who made his film debut in "Back to the Future Part II," is also fascinated by the movie's predictions and discussed them on a recent "Conan."

Wood and host Conan O'Brien did single out an item the film got wrong -- the colander-like hat Wood's character wears in the film. They never became fashionable.

Christopher Lloyd on the timeless charm of 'Back to the Future'

There's one prediction that could be aced in the next couple weeks. According to the film, the Chicago Cubs win the World Series in 2015 (over Miami, a city that didn't have a baseball team in 1989).

As of "Back to the Future" Day, those Cubs are in the National League Championship Series, one step short of the big prize.

If they do go all the way, perhaps the Chicago-born Zemeckis won't mind a little score-settling.

How 'Back to the Future: Part II' Scored on 2015 Predictions
10/21/15

When Marty McFly was sent 30 years into the future as part of the plot in "Back to the Future Part II," he arrived in a time when where there were hoverboards zipping around, people wore self-lacing shoes and flying cars were the norm.
The date? It was Oct. 21, 2015.

Sure, there was a lot of the film got wrong about 2015 - but there are some things it got right too.

Lexus Hoverboard Gets the Ultimate Test Ride

Celebrate 'Back to the Future' Day in a DeLorean

Let's take a look:

Right On, McFly:

1. Flat screen televisions, Skype-like communication and card readers

"Nobody calls me 'chicken,' Needles," an older McFly says to Douglas Needles via a screen before scanning a card remotely. "Nobody."

2. Biometrics

While people are identified when their eyes are scanned in the film and other biometric technology, today people can use their fingerprints to unlock their iPhones or check into a 24 Hour Fitness gym.

3. 3-D Tech

In the film, Marty McFly gets a fright on the street by a 3-D "hologram" of "Jaws 19."

Wrong:

1. Flying cars, Hovercraft

In the "Jaws 19" scene, McFly sees an ad for Wilson Hover Conversion Systems in which "now you don't have to worry about traffic" with "skyway flyers" for $39,999.95.

We don't have quite the same hovercraft today and even in the movie, they had limitations: "Hey McFly, you bojo, those boards don't work on water!"

But in August, Lexus said it's testing its own prototype Hoverboard that works over a magnetic track.

2. Self-lacing Shoes

The 5-year old in us still wishes for this.

Last year, Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield said he hoped self-tying sneakers might one day become a reality.

3. Fax machines, phone booths

Though fax machines and phone booths seem to be widely used in McFly's future, cell phones and email have all but replaced their use today.

The Onion Predicted The Rise Of The Islamic State In 2003
The satirical news site warned the Iraq War would fuel "a million bin Ladens."

11/16/15

WASHINGTON -- In March 2003, soon after the U.S. invaded Iraq, a news outlet predicted the war would be a colossal disaster that would ultimately destabilize the Middle East and fuel the rise of anti-Western forces willing to die for a fundamentalist cause.

That outlet was The Onion. And the satirical news site nailed it.

In a point-counterpoint op-ed titled "This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Won't," the fictional Nathan Eckert eerily described a world in which newly radicalized militants fueled by hate, much like the Islamic State, rise up after the war and obtain weapons of mass destruction to try to drive out Western influence.

"If you thought Osama bin Laden was bad, just wait until the countless children who become orphaned by U.S. bombs in the coming weeks are all grown up. Do you think they will forget what country dropped the bombs that killed their parents?" said Eckert. "In 10 or 15 years, we will look back fondly on the days when there were only a few thousand Middle Easterners dedicated to destroying the U.S. and willing to die for the fundamentalist cause."

He added, "From this war, a million bin Ladens will bloom."

The counterpoint, from another made-up guy named Bob Sheffer, wasn't as compelling.

"No it won't," he said.

"Trust me, it's all going to work out perfect. Nothing bad is going to happen. It's all under control," Sheffer explained. "Why do you keep saying these things? I can tell when there's trouble looming, and I really don't sense that right now. We're in control of this situation, and we know what we're doing. So stop being so pessimistic."

Satire aside, it wasn't impossible to see that the Iraq war risked an Islamic State-level expansion of militants. The Huffington Post reported in May on how President George W. Bush's mismanagement of Iraq encouraged thousands of skilled Iraqis to take their expertise to the anti-American insurgency that eventually became the Islamic State.

https://www.yahoo.com/health/is-the-risk-of-concussion-too-great-to-play-150348212.html
Release of ‘Concussion’ Begs the Question: Is the Risk Too Great to Play Contact Sports?
December 23, 2015

It was a typical Saturday morning in September 2002 for Pittsburgh forensic pathologist Bennet Omalu, MD. He was on call to perform an autopsy. By a stroke of chance, he found Steelers legend Mike Webster on his table.

Omalu, who was born in Nigeria and hadn’t ever paid much attention to American football, didn’t know Webster. And though the longtime National Football League (NFL) star died of a heart attack, post-concussion syndrome was listed as a contributing factor in Webster’s death — and Omalu decided to look into the brain of a man who’d descended into a psychological tailspin in the final decade of his life.

PBS called it “the autopsy that changed football.” Looking at Webster’s brain tissue, Omalu found evidence of the disease he called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), the result of repeated concussions and other forms of head trauma.

Based on the real-life narrative covered in Jeanne Marie Laskas’ 2009 GQ article, the new film starring Will Smith, Concussion, chronicles the events that unfolded in the aftermath of Omalu’s CTE discovery: bizarre player deaths, questions about brain damage as the culprit, and the NFL’s likely attempts to keep its concussion crisis under wraps. The film is released in U.S. theaters on Dec. 25.

Although research is gaining steam, the understanding of CTE is in its infancy. There is still pushback and speculation from the medical and sports communities about CTE and head trauma, not uncommon in the wake of a new finding. But perhaps part of the pushback, also at the heart of Concussion, comes from questions society is not quite ready to answer: Who should be allowed to play football? Is the brain too vulnerable for contact sports?

WATCH: Why the NFL Doesn’t Want You to See ‘Concussion’:

“We provide the information to the patient, it is their decision,” Omalu tells Yahoo Health at a recent meeting of the College of American Pathologists, where he spoke about CTE, brain damage, and the role of pathologists in discovering and treating disease. “But let the decision be informed — an educated decision.”

Suspended in cerebrospinal fluid inside the skull, the brain is movable and vulnerable. A blow to the head causes it to rattle, slamming against the front and back of the skull. Many professional football players are in this near-constant state of collision — and have been for most of their lengthy playing careers.

Scientists are still discovering the toll of these repeated traumas. For some, like Mike Webster, it may be CTE — as of Dec. 15 of this year, officially confirmed as a unique syndrome that can be diagnosed by examining brain tissue by an expert panel of neuropathologists.

A brain with CTE may look normal; the condition cannot be diagnosed in a living human, only via autopsy. However, repeated damage can ultimately cause tissue degeneration. Damaging tau protein builds up in the brain (think of it like sludge that devours healthy cells). As the disease progresses, it can lead to symptoms like confusion, aggression, memory loss, problems with impulse control, depression, flawed judgment, and dementia.

And now the NFL is knee-deep in the controversy of an emerging condition.

The Current Culture of Concussions in the NFL

No one knows exactly what the NFL knew about suspected brain damage among its players — information that’s now legally locked up. In April, a U.S. District Court judge approved a settlement of at least $900 million between the NFL and 5,000 former players. Under its terms, the League did not admit any guilt and did not have to disclose what it knew about brain trauma.

Concussion is primarily a portrait of Omalu. Born in Nigeria, he embodies the American dream, chasing success and acceptance in a country he always felt was just one step below the heavens. But the film is also a commentary on the early days of a potentially catastrophic problem, starting with the tragic death of Mike Webster and followed by Omalu’s discovery of CTE, and the NFL’s response.

Interestingly, by way of the Sony hack, we know certain scenes were cut with the NFL’s response in mind. According to The New York Times, director and writer Peter Landesman said these scenes hit the chopping block to make sure the story was told from a place of fact and truth instead of drama. “We don’t want to give the NFL a toehold to say, ‘They are making it up,’ and damage the credibility of the movie,” Landesman told The Times.

The film does not make a lot of firm conclusions about CTE or brain injury — it more presents and tracks the unfolding narrative. Perhaps the effects of repetitive head trauma has been an open secret for years anyway, underscored by the tragic deaths of former NFL players Junior Seau and Dave Duerson. Both took their own lives by shooting themselves in the chests to preserve their brains for examination. Both were found to have CTE.

Instead of providing answers about how to solve a larger concussion crisis, the film more or less raises the questions more people should be asking. Within the NFL, what is going on that spectators cannot see or hear?

In one scene, former Steelers team physician Dr. Julian Bailes (played by Alec Baldwin) is criticized for sending players with likely impairments back on the field instead of treating them. He responds by saying that the patch-’em-up, send-’em-out strategy was his job. After all, players had to stay on the field to keep the League running.

In March 2015, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Chris Borland announced his retirement from football after just one season and a mild concussion, turning down the chance to make millions of dollars. He has now become a test subject for researchers attempting to solidify football’s effects on the brain and body.

Related: Chris Borland Retires From NFL Over Concussion Fears: ‘I Don’t Think It’s Worth The Risk’

“I think football players are used to downplaying the severity of what they have wrong with them, just because of the culture,” he explained in a New York Times interview. “They’re complicit in those statements of ‘Oh, I’m fine’ when really they might not be.”

However, it’s possible the film’s more pressing implications lie outside NFL lines, beyond adult men who are contracted to play a visibly punishing game. How widespread is the problem of CTE and repetitive head injury? Was the human brain even created to endure a sport like football? Who is most at risk?

When Yahoo Health spoke with Omalu, he did not talk much about the film. He wanted to stay focused on the unfolding science of CTE and brain injury — and what to do about it. “There is no cure for permanent brain damage,” he explains. “The best cure is prevention.” He’s most concerned about the millions of children playing high-impact sports, who are taught to tackle and hit from a young age, and who may be sustaining repeated blows to the head for years to come. He asked if participation in injury-prone athletics is a decision that children should even be allowed to make.

Omalu compares playing a high-impact sport like football to smoking. “Children have not reached the age of consent,” Omalu said. “With smoking, children, by law, are not able to make that decision for themselves. Knowing what we know now, why do we continue to let children be exposed to repeated blows to the head and traumatic brain injuries?

“In my opinion, should we not let children grow up, and then let them decide?”

Concussion Dangers, from NFL Players to Kids

Parents have not been immune to the murmurs about head trauma — and fears go well beyond football. According to a recent Harris Poll conducted on behalf of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, 89 percent of adults consider concussions to be a moderate or severe health concern. Roughly 25 percent of parents do not let their kids play certain contact sports due to concussion worries.

Treato, a company that analyzes healthcare insights and conversations, has tracked the online discussion on head injury to find that buzz surrounding sports-related concussions has boomed 230 percent in the past decade, with children being the focus of 64 percent of the conversations. Among a sample size of 500 users, Treato found that 41 percent thought football should be eliminated from schools. An additional 21 percent said hockey should also go.

While concerns about concussions and repeated brain trauma are real, it’s hard to negate wide-scale impact of sports on children. The relationship between CTE and brain disease also isn’t currently clear-cut, says neuropsychologist Wayne Gordon, PhD, the Jack Nash Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine and associate director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the director of the Mount Sinai Brain Injury Research Center.

“It’s a strong statement to say children should not be playing football below the age of 18,” Gordon tells Yahoo Health. “CTE is slowly beginning to emerge based on the pathological relationship to professional athletes, but the childhood relationship is not well-studied.”

What we do know? Some will not fully recover from brain injury. “With concussions of any variety, roughly 15 to 20 percent of the folks have long-term issues from reduced academic function to difficulty regulating emotions,” Gordon says. “We also know that having one concussion increases the risk of another. There are consequences.”

A 2012 study published in Neurology also showed that the more hits you sustain, the more brain effects you’ll likely see. The research looked at non-concussive head impacts in contact-sport athletes in college, comparing their test scores to those of non-contact athletes. At the beginning of the season, all the athletes scored on par with expectations. By season’s end, 22 percent of the contact players scored lower than average versus just four percent of non-contact players.

However, the youth impact may just be the hidden discussion of repetitive brain trauma, according to Christopher Giza, MD, the director of the UCLA Steve Tisch BrainSPORT Program and a professor of pediatrics and neurosurgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine and Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA.

“If you consider the number who participate in youth sports versus professional sports, our attention is inversely proportional,” Giza tells Yahoo Health. “And the young brain is different than the adult brain — in both good ways and bad.”

This month, Boston University announced its plans for one of the most extensive studies on football and brain disease ever conducted. Originally intended to be funded from a $30 million research grant the NFL gave the National Institutes of Health in 2012, the League pulled back. The study is led by a BU doctor who has spoken out against the NFL.

However, the landmark study involving 50 researchers from 17 institutions will still be funded by the NIH. “This problem is larger than the NFL,” said Walter Koroshetz, MD, director of NIH’s National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, according to ESPN. “We’re trying to get answers for people. There are a lot of concerned people out there, especially parents of kids.”

Should Kids Be Playing High-Impact Sports?

Sports are getting more and more competitive all the time. Plenty of young athletes spend their weekends at tournaments, their nights at practice — at risk of injury every day.

How will a developing brain deal with repeated head trauma? It’s not totally clear, says Giza. Some studies hint that a younger brain is slower in recovery. “A college athlete takes roughly seven to 10 days to rebound, whereas a high-school athlete is around two to three weeks.”

Structures facilitating neural connectivity are still being created. “The wires of a young brain don’t have insulation yet; they conduct electricity, but not well,” says Giza. “The more insulation there is, the faster and more efficiently the brain works — but that insulation is still being laid until the mid to late 20s, meaning it may be more vulnerable.”

Related: Kids and Sports: Is Training Getting Too Intense?

Since the developing brain is still piecing itself together, Giza says that recovery from a head injury or concussion is tricky. “If you’re a kid, and it takes six months to recover your previous cognitive function, you have to recover to where you were before the accident and make up for that lost time [in further development],” he says. “It’s a moving target.”

On the flip side, Giza says that a child’s ability to cognitively adapt is generally greater than an adult’s, which may help boost the healing process. The impact forces of youth sports are smaller than that of college or professional. “Overall, it’s not necessarily pessimistic,” he explains.

Since CTE can only currently be diagnosed on autopsy, with follow-ups about behavioral changes that may have occurred prior to death, Giza says it’s still a “tough thing” to talk about the implications from a medical perspective. “There are a lot of reasons people have cognitive and behavioral changes,” he says. “What’s not so clear is how often do the changes happen with the tau deposits in the brain. … Not every symptom you have after suffering a concussion years ago is dementia.

“When patients come in with chronic conditions after a concussion, maybe it’s dementia, maybe it’s CTE,” he continues. “But I’m looking to diagnose something I can treat.”

Brain injury and its effects are still a black box. How much is too much, how often is too often, and what severity of injury might cause long-term damage is still unknown. “We should stay within the evidence of science, and [CTE] goes beyond the data,” Gordon says. At least right now.

What Should Be Done?

Jeffrey Kutcher, MD, associate professor of neurology and director of the NeuroSport Program at the University of Michigan, says that getting a player back on the field safely is always the goal, and ceasing participation completely is a hard call. The decision is ultimately based on weeks or months of discussion, a battery of tests, attempts to reintroduce the sport-specific skills, family history of conditions like dementia and any behavioral or personality changes. If it seems the problems from the brain trauma will not get better, he recommends the player stop.

But in the middle of the discussion of dangers, many undervalue the meaning of the game to young athletes, whose lives and social circles often revolve around their sports. “If someone plays a sport enough, it’s because they’re drawn to it through abilities,” Kutcher tells Yahoo Health. “It’s a part of who they are. It’s a place for self-reflection and accomplishment… working together for a common goal.”

In fact, “for many athletes, the game is really a part of them. The brain will become organized around, and take on certain qualities, based on the activities a person participates in,” he adds.

Protecting young athletes from brain injury is likely not about taking them off the field. “We can worry about a lot of theoretical things,” Giza says. “It’s important to make sports as safe as possible, while limiting the exposure to hits.”

Part of the issue is opening the discussion about how much contact is necessary, and when, to make every game safer. “In football, how do we tackle safer?” Gordon says. “Maybe it’s not leading with the head, maybe it’s something else. In soccer, we need to be careful about smaller hits like heading, and bumps to the head if they collide with other players. Going up for a rebound in basketball, we should be concerned about the intensity of impact.”

Giza says that coaches and trainers should be educated on reducing trauma and watching for signs of injury. Equipment should be properly maintained and utilized. There needs to be a protocol for assessing potential concussions on the field, ice, or court. Rules that reduce impacts in sports like football, hockey, soccer and rugby must be enforced correctly. And these systems have to be followed, always.

He says asking kids to give up sports isn’t the answer. “One thing to think about is, unlike something like smoking, sports have beneficial side effects, too,” Giza says. “We know that there is a downside to not being active. If we make sports participation scary enough that kids do Xbox instead, we can already measure the effects. It’s obesity, it’s long-term cognition problems.”

The risk of sports-related head injury is real. It must be taken seriously, an issue we are constantly striving to reduce — but perhaps the game’s greatest risk isn’t brain injury. Perhaps it’s not playing at all.

FOX PREMIERING NEW SERIES ‘LUCIFER’ PORTRAYING SATAN AS A MISUNDERSTOOD GOOD GUY
Charming, charismatic and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things – wine, women and song

1/10/16

BORED AND UNHAPPY AS THE LORD OF HELL, LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR  HAS ABANDONED HIS THRONE AND RETIRED TO L.A., WHERE HE OWNS LUX, AN UPSCALE NIGHTCLUB.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” John 8:44 (KJV)

Fox Television is launching a new show called “Lucifer“, and they want you to know that the Devil is as “hot as Hell”. In this series, the Devil is a GQ-handsome man with an English accent, drives a classic Corvette, and is a hit with the ladies. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Here is the official blurb from Fox.com:

LUCIFER IS THE STORY OF THE ORIGINAL FALLEN ANGEL. BORED AND UNHAPPY AS THE LORD OF HELL, LUCIFER MORNINGSTAR  HAS ABANDONED HIS THRONE AND RETIRED TO L.A., WHERE HE OWNS LUX, AN UPSCALE NIGHTCLUB. CHARMING, CHARISMATIC AND DEVILISHLY HANDSOME, LUCIFER IS ENJOYING HIS RETIREMENT, INDULGING IN A FEW OF HIS FAVORITE THINGS – WINE, WOMEN AND SONG – WHEN A BEAUTIFUL POP STAR IS BRUTALLY MURDERED OUTSIDE OF LUX. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ROUGHLY 10 BILLION YEARS, HE FEELS SOMETHING AWAKEN DEEP WITHIN HIM AS A RESULT OF THIS MURDER. COMPASSION? SYMPATHY? THE VERY THOUGHT DISTURBS HIM – AS WELL AS HIS BEST FRIEND AND CONFIDANTE, MAZIKEEN AKA MAZE , A FIERCE DEMON IN THE FORM OF A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG WOMAN.

I find the timing of this show to be fascinating. Why? Because one dark day, sooner rather than later, a man the Bible calls the Antichrist is going to step out from the shadows and take global control of the entire world. He is going to be a liar, a deceiver, literally a false messiah, and the world will love and worship this fraud as if he was Jesus Christ Himself. Fox is mentally preparing you right now, if you are unsaved, to accept this man. Believe it.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV)

As I write this, on January 10, 2016, an event is preparing to happen that will usher in the time of Jacob’s trouble, otherwise known as the Great Tribulation. It is called the Rapture of the Church, and it is the event which will launch the dispensation of Tribulation Saints and take the Church of Jesus Christ to Heaven. And after we leave, you will be faced with the Antichrist that Fox Television has taught you is a “good guy” that the ladies are crazy for. The one that their promotional literature says is as “hot as Hell“.

Perhaps most chilling of all is Fox using the hashtag #LuciferIsComing on their Twitter account. Almost makes you think that Fox is heralding his arrival.

Want to avoid all that mess? This is what you need to do to miss it completely.

Tick, tock….the time is growing shorter.

And they're putting out a sequel to this, "London has Fallen", coming out in March.

White House is attacked in two new movies

When is the White House not under attack?

True, the terrorists who lay siege to the Oval Office in "Olympus Has Fallen," opening Friday, and the suspiciously similar thriller "White House Down," opening June 28, play a bit rougher than the Democrats or Republicans who – depending on the administration – attack it on ordinary occasions.

So do the aliens, mutants and super-villains who, from time to time in Hollywood history, have taken up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. But behind them all is a common notion: The White House represents U.S. prestige and policy. To take a swipe at it is to hit U.S. power – literally — where it lives.

"Independence Day," the hit 1996 alien-invasion thriller, didn't choose its iconic poster image of a gigantic flying saucer hovering over the South Lawn, alien beams blasting, by accident.

It was the most appalling vision imaginable: shocking, not only as an image of destruction, but because of what was being destroyed. And it had the added value of versatility. It pushed patriotic buttons for American audiences, while conceivably tripping other switches for some overseas viewers ("Independence Day" made 62.5 percent of its profits abroad), not all of whom are in such sympathy with American interests.

So attacking the White House, from a box-office standpoint, is always a good idea. In fact, it's so good that this year Hollywood is doing it twice. As with last year's dueling Snow Whites ("Mirror Mirror" and "Snow White and the Huntsman") or 1998's dueling meteors ("Deep Impact" and "Armageddon"), "Olympus Has Fallen" and "White House Down" is an instance of great movie minds thinking alike.

Both films posit presidents (Aaron Eckhart in "Olympus," Jamie Foxx in "Down") being held hostage by terrorists (North Korean insurgent Rick Yune in "Olympus," home-grown paramilitarist Jason Clarke in "Down") who must be rescued by special agents (Gerard Butler in "Olympus," Channing Tatum in "Down").

Something in the air? If so, it's not new. The real-life White House has been invaded only once, by the British in 1814 – well, twice, if you count that couple who gate-crashed that state dinner in 2009. But it has a long history of assault on celluloid. Here are some key films:

* "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009): Disguise expert Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) infiltrates the White House and takes the place of the president (Jonathan Pryce). Can Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and the rest of the plastic action figures stop him? Stay tuned for "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," coming March 28.

* "X2: X-Men United" (2003): Good mutant Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), under the control of bad human Col. Stryker (Brian Cox), infiltrates the White House in order to assassinate the president.

Anyone else think Antonin Scalia's "death" was by chance?

Time Traveler? Video Of 1995 Mike Tyson Fight Shows A Fan In The Audience Using A Smart Phone

A video which has resurfaced of a 1995 Mike Tyson fight appears to prove the existence of time travel, or so the conspiracy theorists are saying. In the footage — which shows Tyson fighting Peter McNeeley in Las Vegas more than 20 years ago — a spectator sitting close to the ring appears to be filming the match on a smartphone.

Resurfaced video of 1995 Mike Tyson fight appears to show someone in crowd using smartphone to record bout

EDITOR’S NOTE: I am sure there is a perfectly logical explanation for why a front row fan at a 1995 Mike Tyson fight is taking pictures with what looks for all the world like an Android smartphone that would not be on the market until 2008. It’s unique large, wide and flat shape stands out immediately. Watch the video and decide for yourself. I personally have always believed that time travel is possible. Albert Einstein himself thought time travel was possible as well. The greatest and most plausible novel ever written on time travel is ‘Time And Again‘ by Jack Finney, I highly recommend you read it.

The only thing is, camera phones weren’t available on the market for another five years. The video, which was first published online in September 2015, has resurfaced and racked up over 4 million views.

“Maybe time travel has been possible for many years now we just don’t know about it. So the smartphone he’s holding could be from the technology of that era not from 100 years from now,” Paul Deckard, a YouTube commenter, said.

“Another theory is that the Illuminati have all technical inventions first and hold them back for years before the public can enjoy them,” another theorist surmised.

Others were more hesitant to buy the story, suggesting it may be a weird Japanese or disposable camera.

Regardless of what the object truly is, the video is certainly grabbing more attention than Tyson is these days. source
