September 24, 2017, 10:45:16 pm Psalm 51:17 says: The specific rule pertaining to the national anthem is found on pages A62-63 of the league rulebook. It states: “The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem. “During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.”

Aluminum is a known neurotoxin that destroys cellular metabolism and function. Hundreds of studies link to the ravaging effects of aluminum. The other proteins and formaldehyde serve to activate the immune system and open up the blood-brain barrier. This is NOT a good thing."

Like we need yet another heretic Graham spewing lies and falsehoods!

She's claiming that most are "unchurched" because of, "...wounds they have received within the family of faith".

See how subtle that accusation is? She is blaming the so-called churched Christians for people not being "churched"!  Roll Eyes

I'm sure she also fails to mention that those buildings are dead inside, and offer no life to those who attend.

Are you a 'believer in exile' -- I invite you to try God, again

Have you tried God?

Did you used to go to church?

Why aren’t you going to church now?

Without implying you are a statistic, research indicates that 83% of all American adults consider themselves to be Christian, but the majority of them are unchurched.

Why?

The primary reason people avoid church, pollsters say, even though they consider themselves Christian, is because of wounds they have received within the family of faith.

Has that been your experience? Is that why you are hanging out on the periphery of God’s people?

I understand. I, too, have been driven from church fellowship by wounds that were inflicted on me by other church members.

The primary reason people avoid church, pollsters say, even though they consider themselves Christian, is because of wounds they have received within the family of faith.

I have found myself living as a “believer in exile,” not running from God, but tired of putting up with those who call themselves by His name, yet behave in an ungodly manner.

Jesus understands, too. It never ceases to amaze me that the most vicious lies, the most violent attacks, the ultimate rejection of Jesus, came not from the Romans or the Greeks or the pagans or the secularists, but from Israelites who were considered, by themselves and others, the children of God. God’s people.

One primary reason I have not forsaken my own Christian faith is that I know Jesus “gets it.” He was literally wounded…crucified…by very religious people who considered themselves God’s representatives on earth, but were nothing of the sort. They were wicked, sinful pretenders.

So I refuse to let religious phonies destroy my heart for the One who loves me, who understands and feels my pain, and who draws close to me when I am wounded. I refuse to be robbed of life’s greatest treasure—a personal, permanent, passionate relationship with God through faith in Jesus, and the healing of wounds that He offers.

As painful and devastating as wounds inflicted by God’s people can be, they have made me more determined to authentically live out what I believe.

I am deeply motivated to know God. I want to know Him as He truly is, not through the distorted reflection of those who call themselves by His name. And I want to make Him known to others as accurately, winsomely, clearly, and compellingly as I can.

And God is knowable. He has declared that He is light. (1 John 1:5) Since one of the primary characteristics of light is that it makes itself visible, God is saying He has made Himself visible.

He can be clearly seen in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. And He can be seen in the pages of the unique revelation of Himself, which we call the Bible.

If your focus in on the people of God, the Light can seem dim or even dark. So don’t look at them. Look at Him.

Try God…again.

When I first got saved 7 years ago, I read a number of books by Graham and his children(Franklin, Ann, Ruth Jr, and another one I can't remember), and Ruth Billy's wife.

The ones in particular by Ruth the daughter - to sum it up in a nutshell, she just kept glorifying in her own shame, and acted like she was the "prodigal's son" every time she made a big fool out of herself. Yes, we all struggle with sin as Paul talked about in Romans 7, but what she was doing was NOT struggling with sin. Franklin had a decent book or 2, BUT he would throw in subtle deceptions(ie-one time he called discouragement a sin - something Rick Warren pushes, and Franklin/Warren also forgot how David, Jonah, Peter, etc also had discouragement, but God delivered them through and through).

Billy's wife, however, was a big mystery(she passed away in 2007) - I don't recall her making any public appearances(despite her writing books). You would have at least a newspaper photo or 2 of her Huh

Anyhow - this whole "unchurched" buzzword is a modern-day term that's being pushed by the Emergent Church(ie-Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, and Brian McLaren use it quite a bit). The word that should be used is LOST.

Titus 3:1  Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
Tit 3:2  To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
Tit 3:3  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4  But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Tit 3:7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

As for "...wounds they have received within the family of faith" - has she ever read the verse where Jesus says this?

Mat 10:34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35  For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Pt being that maybe what she's saying/alleging is happening b/c these church buildings are so dead and apostate, that you could get ostracized by these same buildings if you show them the truth about the Wescott and Hort versions, infiltrators in the SBC like Rick Warren and Dallas Willard, the Roman Catholic Church, etc?

Personally, that's fine with me b/c as Christians, the LAST thing we should be fellowshipping with are darkness and Baal. Otherwise, our weak flesh we live in will get defiled. And doesn't she know that those who live godly shall suffer persecution? Does she remember what happened to Stephen in Acts?

And another thing - notice how she is slyly attacking the Jews in her reasonings over why "...wounds they have received within the family of faith".
