That verse serves as proof that you cannot take the mark, then "to renew them again unto repentance". It says why you can't, which is more concrete than saying just that you can't be saved after taking the mark.

Yes, scripture does not directly say you cannot be saved after taking the mark, at least in those specific words, so yes, Pinto is being deceptive.

BUT, it does say what happens to a person if they do take the mark, which any reasonable person who is not out to deceive followers will agree that in effect is saying you cannot be saved after taking the mark.

If you really look at his position, you can see a "works' doctrine, in that those in the world go by their own actions, believing what they do determines their salvation, so it stands to reason that false doctrine would suggest that a person can save themselves by their actions of repenting of their taking the mark. Well, that's really false because those who have taken the mark are lost souls, thus they don't have the Holy Ghost, and therefore no discernment. Taking the mark officially seals the deal of selling their soul to the enemy.

As the verse I posted says, "For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened..."

That IS the verse he claims isn't there, word for word.

I dont think its even posible for a saved person to take the Mark. I think this whole situation is for an unsaved person that takes the Mark, and then wants to repent afterward. I think by the very nature of tha verse that a true saved Christian would not be able to take the Mark. As found in Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads, i just don see it. As the true Trib Saint will give their testimony and loos their head.

I think, Chris is only dealing with unsaved people that take the Mark and then want to give it back. Which you cant do.

Could it be that you have a different understanding of the tribulation period than he does, and that is where he's saying you "distorted what I said"?

No not at all, as Chris has put out his beliefs in his 2 documentaries, Meggido 1 and Meggido 2. He talking about he didnt actually say the words, "people who take the Mark and Worship the image of the Beast can get saved" that is what he means. He didnt say those exact words, but that IS what he said.

Obviously from previous posts, you believe during the "tribulation", you say the church has been raptured and those who remain are living by faith AND works. Does Pinto believe that?

That is what the Bible says, not what I say. As for Chis im not to sure on that.

My point is that if he believes that too, then maybe that is where he's getting the idea from, thinking that since it's a "works" situation, then by works a person could repent of taking the mark, and be re-saved by their "good works".

Im pretty sure that isnt how he is perceiving it. In the Audio he used this verse to try and justify this belief.
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
He uses the other verses that say this also to show that this is Gods way to get man to repent, so if they can repent after these plagues, then they should be able to repent from the Mark as well, as its nothing more than a sin. The problem is it isnt just a sin, its an automatic death penalty. You cant justify this as a regualr sin that God forgives and fogets as far as the east is from the west, as this has an automatic death penalty attached to it. hat is what he is doing

It's hard to make sense of what doesn't make sense!

Yea. So, then yes, he is doing as I thought, it's a works mentality. But for him to take the stance that way, it requires him to make an assumption of what isn't said in text, thus he isn't saying it directly, rather he's "inferring" it, but the end effect is the same; heresy.

Seems to me that maybe an explanation about what it means to blaspheme the Holy Ghost would be one that has been saved, then takes the mark (isn't that basically what Judas did, spiritually speaking?). Scripture makes it clear those people are lost eternally, because it is impossible to renew them again.

Then wouldnt that imply that you could loose you salvation?

Huh? No, what makes you say that?

I'm not saying a person can be saved, then take the mark. No, not at all. I believe those who are saved won't take it, so it's not an issue for them as they are saved, and God says those who do take it are damned eternally. God cannot allow those who are saved to do something that will damn them eternally, as that would violate His promise to us, that He would save us if we trust in Him. As it says, it would put Him to an open shame.

Once saved, you CANNOT be lost, as the indwelling of Jesus, the Comforter, will not allow it, period, as the verse says it is impossible to renew them IF it were to happen. You WILL suffer tribulation in the flesh but you won't be lost as a son of God, thank you Jesus.

Rev 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Just one correction on the above article - it's doctrines of DEVILS, NOT demons - the NIV uses "demons". With that being said, another very thorough expose by this web site blog.

Pretty much John MacArthur has exposed the Emergent Church through and through(and even Billy Graham) - HOWEVER, he's just merely playing his part in the HEGELIAN DIALECTIC(where he's the "good cop", and these Rick Warren types are the "bad cop"). And he's also keeping you in the dark over the dark agendas of the organized church system.

FYI, pretty much all of the SBC churches(including the one I attend) as well as many others(likely) are joining up with Billy Graham's latest endeavor. No, Graham is not endorsing the idea of still getting saved after taking the mark of the beast in this, but nonetheless don't be surprised if he's the next guy that comes out of the woodwork.

Also - I thought New Orleans in 2006 was the last time he said he would make a big public appearance(and he did so then b/c of what New Orleans went through after Katrina, supposedly).

http://www.charismanews.com/us/41287-billy-graham-it-could-perhaps-be-my-last-message
Billy Graham: ‘It Could Perhaps Be My Last Message’
10/8/13

At 94, Billy Graham says he realizes his remaining time on the earth is limited. With his My Hope America project, he wants to make one last major appeal to the nation to turn from its sin and repent and for people to give their hearts to Jesus.

Graham told Newsmax that indeed this could be his final gospel outreach—a crusade via video.

“It could perhaps be my last message, which is this: Christ is our hope for today and our promise for tomorrow. And it is fulfilled in the great work He did for mankind on the cross when He paid the penalty for our sin,” he said.

My Hope America is a nationwide outreach to reach people across the United States with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It implores Christians across the nation to open their homes next month to share the gospel message with friends, family, colleagues and neighbors through a series of video programs with life-changing testimonies and messages from perhaps the most beloved evangelist of our time.

Graham, who has been a spiritual adviser to many past presidents and has led an estimated 3.2 million people to faith in Jesus Christ, says he believes the country has been engulfed in a “sea of immorality” and that it has “dismissed God, resulting in skewed thinking and consciences that are desensitized to right and wrong, basing moral decisions solely on what fits in with our individual preferences.”

“There was a headline recently about more Americans tailoring religion to fit their needs, mixing a little Christianity with the religions of the world,” he told Newsxmax. “It is called a ‘trendy faith.’ Society does not object to this kind of faith.

“But people go on a search for anything but God. Many people do not want to face the truth of the gospel. They water it down to a myth, causing young and old to doubt the authority of the Bible. We as a nation have turned our back on God, who blessed our country because its fundamental principles were grounded in the Word of God. People want designer religion, but I pray that they instead will submit to their Creator who longs to become their God and Savior.”

In his just-published book, The Reason for My Hope: Salvation, Graham says it’s not too late—yet—for nonbelievers to find hope and salvation in Jesus, quoting 1 Timothy 2:3-4, which says:

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

“Nonbelievers can find hope because all people have sinned and come short of God’s glory,” says Graham, whose health has faltered in recent years. “Real hope is found only in the God of hope. God stands ready to grant salvation to all who believe in Him.”

While he refuses to speculate about the timing, Graham says all of the signs are pointing toward Jesus’ return. The shape of the country—a faltering economy and government, more and more people advocating same-sex marriage and abortion, and the dissension and hatred that comes with them—is evidence that the end times are coming, he says.

“I believe all of these signs are evident today,” he told Newsmax. “Regardless of what society says, we cannot go on much longer in the sea of immorality without judgment coming. God keeps His promises, and this is why we can be sure that the return of Christ is near. The Bible speaks powerfully of trouble ahead with storm warnings that carry a booming jolt of truth.

“We are at a crossroads, and there are profound moral issues at stake. It is time to return to biblical truth.”

First off, while wiki usually doesn't have all of their facts straight(like this link I'm posting), nonetheless it has a lot of their facts OK(although a few glaring errors).

Will post the link and its info, and explain in the next post the points I'm trying to drive home...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amillennialism
Amillennialism (Latin: a- "no" + millennialism) is a view in Christian end-times theology named for its rejection of the theory that Jesus Christ will have a thousand-year-long, physical reign on the earth. This is in opposition to premillennial and some postmillennial interpretations of chapter 20 of the Book of Revelation.

In contrast, the amillennial view holds that the thousand years mentioned in Revelation 20 is a symbolic number, not a literal description; that the millennium has already begun and is identical with the current church age, (or more rarely, that it ended with the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 — see Preterism). Amillennialism holds that while Christ's reign during the millennium is spiritual in nature, at the end of the church age, Christ will return in final judgment and establish a permanent physical reign.

Teaching[edit]

Amillennialism teaches that there will not be a future "millennium" in which Christ will reign on earth prior to the Second Coming but rather that Jesus is presently reigning from heaven, seated at the right hand of God the Father, that Jesus also is and will remain with the church until the end of the world, as he promised at the Ascension, that at Pentecost, the millennium began, as is shown by Peter using the prophecies of Joel, about the coming of the kingdom, to explain what was happening, and that, therefore the Church and its spread of the good news is Christ's Kingdom and forever will be.

Amillennialists cite scripture references to the kingdom not being a physical realm: Matthew 12:28, where Jesus cites his driving out of demons as evidence that the kingdom of God had come upon them; Luke 17:20-21, where Jesus warns that the coming of the kingdom of God can not be observed, and that it is among them; and Romans 14:17, where Paul speaks of the kingdom of God being in terms of the Christians' actions.

In particular, they regard the thousand year period as a figurative expression of Christ's reign being perfectly completed, as the "thousand hills" referred to in Psalm 50:10, the hills on which God owns the cattle, are all hills, and the "thousand generations" in 1 Chronicles 16:15, the generations for which God will be faithful, refer to all generations. (Some postmillennialists and nearly all premillennialists hold that the word millennium should be taken to refer to a literal thousand-year period.)

Amillennialism also teaches that the binding of Satan, described in Revelation, has already occurred; he has been prevented from "deceiving the nations" by the spread of the gospel. This is the first binding he suffered in history after his fall from heaven. Nonetheless, good and evil will remain mixed in strength throughout history and even in the church, according to the amillennial understanding of the Parable of the Wheat and Tares.

Amillennialism is sometimes associated with Idealism as both teach a symbolic interpretation of many of the prophecies of the Bible and especially the Book of Revelation. However, many amillennialists do believe in the literal fulfillment of Biblical prophecies; they simply disagree with Millennialists about how or when these prophecies will be fulfilled.

History[edit]

Early church[edit]

The first two centuries of the church held both premillennial and amillennial opinions.[2] Although none of the available Church Fathers advocate amillennialism in the 1st century, Justin Martyr (died 165), who had chiliastic tendencies in his theology,[3] mentions differing views in his Dialogue with Trypho the Jew, chapter 80: "I and many others are of this opinion [premillennialism], and [believe] that such will take place, as you assuredly are aware; but, on the other hand, I signified to you that many who belong to the pure and pious faith, and are true Christians, think otherwise."[4]

A few amillennialists such as Albertus Pieters understand Pseudo-Barnabas to be amillennial. In the 2nd century, the Alogi (those who rejected all of John's writings) were amillennial, as was Caius in the first quarter of the 3rd century.[5] With the influence of Neo-Platonism and dualism, Clement of Alexandria and Origen denied premillennialism.[6] Likewise, Dionysius of Alexandria argued that Revelation was not written by John and could not be interpreted literally; he was amillennial.[7]

Origen's idealizing tendency to consider only the spiritual as real (which was fundamental to his entire system) led him to combat the "rude"[8] or "crude"[9] Chiliasm of a physical and sensual beyond.

In general, however, premillennialism appeared in the available writings of the early church but it was evident that both views existed side by side.

Medieval and Reformation periods[edit]

Amillennialism gained ground after Christianity became a legal religion. It was systematized by St. Augustine in the 4th century, and this systematization carried amillennialism over as the dominant eschatology of the Medieval and Reformation periods. Augustine was originally a premillennialist, but he retracted that view, claiming the doctrine was carnal.[11]

Amillennialism was the dominant view of the Protestant Reformers. The Lutheran Church formally rejected chiliasm in the The Augsburg Confession— “Art. XVII., condemns the Anabaptists (of Munster -- historically most Anabaptist groups were amillennial) and others ’who now scatter Jewish opinions that, before the resurrection of the dead, the godly shall occupy the kingdom of the world, the wicked being everywhere suppressed.’"[12] Likewise, the Swiss Reformer, Heinrich Bullinger wrote up the Second Helvetic Confession which reads "We also reject the Jewish dream of a millennium, or golden age on earth, before the last judgment."[13] John Calvin wrote in Institutes that chiliasm is a "fiction" that is "too childish either to need or to be worth a refutation." He interpreted the thousand year period of Revelation 20 non-literally, applying it to the "various disturbances that awaited the church, while still toiling on earth."[14]

Modern times[edit]

Amillennialism has been widely held in the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Churches as well as in the Roman Catholic Church, which generally embraces an Augustinian eschatology and which has deemed that premillennialism "cannot safely be taught."[4] Amillennialism is also common among Protestant denominations such as the Lutheran, Reformed, Anglican, and Methodist Churches.[15] It represents the historical position of the Amish, Old Order Mennonite, and Conservative Mennonites (though among the more modern groups premillennialism has made inroads). It is also common among groups arising from the 19th century American Restoration Movement such as the Churches of Christ,[16]:125 Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and Christian churches and churches of Christ. It even has a significant following amongst Evangelical Christian denominations including Baptist denominations such as The Association of Grace Baptist Churches in England. Partial preterism is sometimes a component of amillennial hermeneutics. Amillennialism declined in Protestant circles with the rise of Postmillennialism and the resurgence of Premillennialism in the 18th and 19th centuries, but it has regained prominence in the West after World War II.

^^ So pretty much: This is why the modern-day church system(not just MacArthur, House, DeYoung, Pinto, etc) believes the mark of the beast is somehow "spiritual", and you can still get saved - b/c they believe in this heretical A-Millenialism eschatology heresy.

And even worse - A-Mill doesn't believe in a literal 1000 year reign on earth by Jesus Christ(nor the 7 year time of Jacob's Trouble that precedes it) - Ultimately, the modern-day church, pastors, and these MacArthur/Pinto types are deceived into thinking that churches are runned by one-man pastors/leaders(where the pastors and leaders have dominion over their flocks, and they themselves are more or less rebuke-FREE), b/c A-Mill believes this millennial reign is "symbolic", meaning that somehow the NT church during the church age is reigning over all governments and citizens on earth until Jesus Christ comes back.

Coincidence that around the time it really became embraced in the 4th century, was around the same time the Roman Catholic Church system came to power?(as we all know, the RCC has this power structure thinking) And now all of the Protestant/Baptist denominations have bought into it, as well as the IFB movement.

Ultimately, yeah, beware of these types with these A-Mill like eschatology beliefs - chances are they're your typical power/control/manipulating hungry type of people.

Well, Pinto is continuing to put on spin on this "the mark of the beast is spiritual" nonsense. Here's what he said the other day...

Quote
In particular, Chris focuses on issues pertaining to Antichrist's title as the "Lawless one," as well as the subject of buying and selling where the Mark of the Beast in concerned.  Because the Popes forbade anyone from conducting business or trade with those who were excommunicated, Turretin argued that the "mark" had already been fulfilled in the Middle Ages and was not some future event.  Yet others see the working of the Papacy as a partial fulfillment that will have its ultimate climax when the final Antichrist is revealed.

Uhm...no...

1) It's the NIV that uses the words "man of lawlessness" in 2nd The 2:3(when talking about the Antichrist being revealed). The King James Bible properly says "man of sin".

And the NIV translation is completely wrong b/c the unbelieving world is under the law of sin(while Christians are not).

Romans_7:25  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Rom_8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Dunno, but sounds like Pinto is embracing those other false perversions.

2) Look how he says the mark of the beast prophecy was already fulfilled in the Middle Ages - didn't he say recently that if anyone since then took the "spiritual" mark of the beast, they could still get saved? More crafty double-tongue from him.

3) While he says the Antichrist/MOB prophecy was fulfilled in the Middle Ages - I DO recall him saying in previous shows over the last 2 years saying how there will be a Final Antichrist when all was said and done. Again, more double-tongue out of his mouth.

Ya know BA, we have posted in this forum many articles now of this kind of stuff, and I believe it's pretty apparent now that what I've been saying all along about these self-professed "preachers" is true. They are all heretics. They preach doctrines of devils, plain and simple, and we spend all this time trying to point out what they got right or wrong. They are men, of course they get stuff wrong. That's why we are NOT to look up to these men and trust what they say, because they are liars.

Personally, I wouldn't give these people any more press than is needed to expose them for the frauds that they are.

God knows I'm getting really tired of these clowns running around spouting off delusions and lies, and people promoting their heresy teachings. Churchianity trolls make me sick to my stomach!

Bryan finally weighs in on this heresy and does a fine job at it.

Let us remember how much $$ these guys have raked in with all their DVD's and books. All we need is GOD'S WORD! Lesson learned.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

That Brannon Howse is all about the money. He would sell you the shirt off his back. if you ever listen to one of his programs its 65-70% of commercials for his stuff and classes and stuff. His show is hard to listen to as its nothing but commercials. Pinto's program only has a commercial half way through that doesnt last to long.

And despite the fact House exposed David Barton a couple of years ago, he STILL sells his stuff on his web site - House claims he disassociated himself from Barton a couple of years ago when he saw his heresies. But again, he still sells his stuff on his web site.

House also is Michael Reagan's talent agent with one of his books(MR is Ronald's foul-mouthed son), and he used to appear on the MSM channels like FOX for awhile.

And yes, I've always found it odd how he would sell these "classes" packages where they would "train" you to be in ministry. And his Worldview Weekend "rallies" he does around the country looks pretty suspect too.

Pastor Receives Obamacare RFID Chip And Boasts To His Congregation — John MacArthur Declares You Can Be Saved AFTER You Receive The Mark! OUTRAGE!

We all knew this was coming, we just didn’t know how soon! Pastors across America are being implanted with the Obamacare RFID chip (aka: mark of the beast) and promoting it to their congregations.

I only listened to about 3 minutes of that video and had to stop. The guy is VERY hard to understand, and from what I heard, he hadn't said what pastor or church he was talking about. That's rumor if he didn't say the names later in the video. Makes for a neat story, but it might as well be a false story without proof or at least be willing to name names.

I also went to "beforeitwasnews" site, and now regret having gone there! They are getting more and more strange by the day! I mean, really? Paul Walker was murdered because he was going to reveal corruption or something over the Philippians? That's just down right disrespectful, at least. They seem to me to be nothing more than the "TMZ" of conspiracy theory nutcases. It's like Infowars on steroids. Roll Eyes

And they also had a story on NFL week 13 fantasy football injuries. Huh Really - this has NOTHING to do with current events news(or any conspiracy news for that matter too). THAT itself looked strange.

As for the guy speaking in that video - can't remember his name, but I've listened to him a couple of times before - he's pretty strange, to say the least. Keeps saying "Halelujah" many times, and that in vain. And he credited some woman "minister" in this video for giving visions about not taking the RFID, Obama being the Antichrist, etc. She's right about the former(for obvious reasons), but nonetheless whoever put together that video needs more discernment.

Yeah, just as bad as those "Michael Jackson was murdered b/c he was exposing the Illuminati" nonsense Roll Eyes - pretty much, ALL of these Illuminati rock music stars are puppetted to do so b/c this is how the Illuminati telegraphs their punches.

With that being said - we will see if these 501c3 churches start promoting the RFID agenda. No, this isn't the MOB, but nonetheless it's conditioning for just that.
