well its there on the IRS website. Ive posted it, your gonna have to look it up yourself, and not take my word for it.

I do not take your word for it. I have already dissected your links and there was nothing relevant on your irs link.

My irs link on the other hand which showed the relevant 501c3 tax law clearly indicates churches are specifically exempted from said 501c3 status unless whoever is in control of said church wants to be under the 501c3 umbrella.

So you can cite imaginary data that only you can see, or you can post pertinent data for everyone to see as I have.

Maybe I am just slow, but I did not read that anywhere in the law.

If what you say is true, copy and paste the relevant part in a new post.

So as you can see my delima here as it is kind of hard to get around this.

The only dilemma I see is people making statements and not having facts to back them up.

Please prove his Church is 501c3.

Here is the link that shows the Church is registered non profit.

https://www.sos.mo.gov/BusinessEntity/soskb/Corp.asp?646691

Him being a religious non profit, means he has to file a 501c3, no way around it.

Here is the IRS link for charities and non-profit

http://www.irs.gov/charities/article/0,,id=169727,00.html

so YOU prove he isnt other than him saying so.

Your first link is a document filed with the State of Missouri listing Bethel Free Will Baptist Church of Festus

Missouri as a non-profit corporation. The emphasis is on State, this document  has nothing to do with the

feds. Your second link is a faq sheet for tax exempt organizations that meet irs 501c3 criteria. This link does

not indicate what it takes to meet those requirements.

I on the other hand have found the actual irs tax code that controls 501c3 status. The link is

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/508.

This is on the Cornell Law school website. The relevant part of the tax code is:

(a)  New organizations must notify Secretary that they are applying for recognition of section 501(c)(3) status
Except as provided in subsection (c), an organization organized after October 9, 1969, shall not be treated as an organization described in section 501 (c)(3)—

The important part is the phrase "Except as provided in subsection (c)".

Subsection c says:

(c)  Exceptions
(1)  Mandatory exceptions
Subsections (a) and (b) shall not apply to—
(A) churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and conventions or associations of churches, or
(B) any organization which is not a private foundation (as defined in section 509 (a)) and the gross receipts of which in each taxable year are normally not more than $5,000.

The important part of this is the phrase "mandatory exceptions" and the word "churches". This means a

church is explicitly exempted from 501c3 status unless the church chooses to not be exempt. So a church

can be tax exempt and non-501c3.

With this information I will take Mike's word for his non-501c3 status.

Thank you for this conversation, it has been very informative.

Jesus Christ told his disciples "Feed my sheep". ANY pastor that has to get a license from the government(in this case filing Articles of Incorporation with the state) is NOT doing any favors to their flock. As a matter of fact, they are hurting their flock more than they are helping them.

Believe me, I've sat in the pews of this system since I was a kid in the early 80's, and the leaven is very obvious. And this isn't a Pastor Mike issue, it's an issue with 99% of churches in America today b/c either 1) Their greed for money, 2) Their heavy lack for discernment, or 3) Their willing ignorance.

Finally an answer, kinda, sorta. Pastor Mike is a bad Pastor because his Church is incorporated. Thank you for finally getting around to answering my question of why do you believe Pastor Mike bad.

Your point? The church is registered as NON PROFIT with the secretary of state. That requires a 501c3 filling. sorry you cant accept that. Look i liked Pastor Mike, some of his teachings were very good, others were very screwball. The guy came out and said in his Romans 13 teaching that HE would protect his church and that they should trust him. Sorry, but that is right out of the Governments clergy response team hand book.

You can find likes and faults with everyone, i wont argue that. But its that statement from Pastor Mike that did it for me. Your more than welcome to like and follow him.

My point was Mike's Church has been accused multiple times on being 501c3 without any proof that it is. I have provided 2 links to videos where he says specifically that his Church is not 501c3.

Yeah, I would stray far away as possible from this guy. And for that matter too, KJV-only churches that are 501c3 are no better than all the other non-KJV churches, b/c they've been leavened.

Please prove his Church is 501c3. Please show me one, just one instance of leaven in ANY of his audios or videos.

We just clarified it by putting out scripture. Read them, and meditate on them.

I have read them, but I did not see anything that has to do with Pasture Mike not being Biblical or anything

referencing 501c3.

So basically your answer is "I think he is 501c3 and that is bad, even though he says he
is not 501c3 I do not believe him and even if he is not 501c3 he has filed papers with the
state of Missouri to be tax exempt and that makes him bad"

My answer to your opinion is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Now I will give you a few scriptures to meditate on yourself.

Matthew 22:17-21

Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?

Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

And he saith unto them, Whose [is] this image and superscription?

They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

Since I rather doubt this website is paid for by barter, everyone here is using the same corrupt system, the

same dirty money, lives in the same evil country, on the same fallen planet as everyone else. Since the

answer to my last question has boiled down to "I said so"I have a new question . How are you Kilika and

you BornAgain2 any better than Pasture Mike and the rest of us poor sinners who are just doing the best we

If that entity is incorporated, it's the same difference. He's still looking to the government for authorization to preach the gospel, is he not?

If you believe being tax exempt is the same as the irs or cia writing his sermons for him you go right ahead and believe. Fortunately for the rest of the world that particular belief of yours is ridicules. The worst the government can do is revoke his tax exempt status.

Some of you insist Pastor Mike is 501c3.

Do you have proof? If you do, I would like to see it.

If you go to http://blip.tv/pastormikeonline and to to his

teaching of 6/16/11 at around the 40 minute mark he says his church is NOT 501c3.

I will make it even easier for you, here is the direct link to that study:

http://blip.tv/pastormikeonline/pastor-mike-online-06-16-11-5308830. Open it and go to the

40 minute mark and see for yourself.

On the other hand,

Quote
I listened to the entire sermon once and the first 25 minutes a second time.

Much like the vague insinuations against Chuck Missler, this seems to me to be another mole hill made into a mountain.

What I got from the sermon was trust God and submit to the laws of the land.

Did he say if the government tells you to kill your child then you do so, no he did not.

Did he say take the mark of the beast when given the choice between that and death, no he did not.

He said trust God and submit. He did not say submit no matter what.

I do not like many of the laws any more then most people, but there is a difference between a law that is unjust and a law that is unGodly. We each have to pray about and study the Bible about any law we think is unGodly.

If you trust God then why are you afraid of men? You already know what the future holds, it is prewritten by God. You are going to either be Raptured or die. No one wants to be persecuted, but Christians are going to be increasingly persecuted and put upon. The devil rules this world, that is just how it is. As Christians you already know this. Fear is just your sinful flesh talking, as Born Again Christians we should all be striving to keep our eyes on God and doing His will, not what is about to happen to us down here.

I will go back listening to Pasture Mike's audios now, I have listened to almost everything on his website except his sermons but I still have about 1/5 or so of them to go.

Mike Hoggard is my favorite teacher, his verse by verse study of Revelation is awesome.

I would also like to thank Scot Johnson for exposing me to him.

Its more that he didn't say any of that stuff. If the Gov. shows up and tells me to go to a FEMA camp. Im not going. If they say we have to turn in all our Bibles are you? I mean the Church has a long history of NOT doing that. It is his total endorsement to blindly follow the government that bothers me. Its a secular worldly government, and not once did he say anything about not following anything they have to say. Dear Lord he even came out and said we should have more rules and laws. You have to be kidding me.

Quote
He did not say submit no matter what.

Basically he did say that. Not once did he give an example of not following the Gov, although the Bible is rife with it.

Where did he say it? I have already asked for this once, and no one answered me. Give me the minute mark

to fast forward to and I will.

You can not give me a minute to go to can you..... because it does not exist.

I was finally able to finish the teaching. I believe about 70% was useless to anyone who has listened to more than 2 of Scott's teaching. This teaching was better then most of the ones he does, he does not usually have 30% new material.

The reason I still listen to him is because I only know 3 watchman who I can listen to while doing other things.

Hal Lindsey, Mike Hoggard, and Scott Johnson. Hal is only 30 minutes a week, Mike is usually about 1 1/2 hours, Scott is about 2-3 hours with only about 30-40 minutes being relevant.

I am in front of my computer hours every day. If anyone knows of another watchman who is worth listening to, please share.

This was a good teaching.

At this point I could not disagree more.

I have listened to the first 32 minutes, and 30 minutes of that was a waste of time. Within the first 5

minutes of the so called teaching, the hunger games was mentioned for about 60 seconds, then there was a

monologue of 30 minutes of how evil the world is. The monologue was the same ol' same ol' that Scott

blathers about on almost every teaching, about how evil the world is ect, ect. One would think Scott is

unaware that the devil rules this world right now and will until the Lord returns. We are in the End-Times, it

is supposed to be this way. God is in control, trust God and everything will be fine.

I have never experienced a person who is so in love with the sound of their own voice and who loves to

repeat him/herself so much. This constant repetition of the same opinions and Bible verses over and

over and over again is a total  waste of time. Scott's amateur abilities really make the more polished

teachings of other watchmen really shine. This constant repetition of the same Bible verses over and over

and over again is a total  waste of time.

Fortunately for myself, I have become very adept at fast forwarding a minute or two at a time and weeding

out the constant repetition and listening to what little new information is available. Now I will finish listening

to the rest of the teaching an see if it gets any better.

Just my .02 cents.

It is possible tell something about a religion by it's enemies. That said, it is worth remembering the pagan

position on the rapture. If there was not going to be a pre or mid trib. Rapture of the Church, why would

the devil spend so much time promoting a pagan rapture? At the end of the tribulation a pagan rapture

makes no sense, only pre or mid trib Rapture of the Church would need to be explained away by the devil

and covered up with a false pagan rapture.

I have studied the Rapture fairly extensively, and I believe it is impossible to know for certain when it is

There are many of his teaching I was not led or interested in listening to. My point to you was that someone else may find benefit even where we do  not. It is selfish to expect that everything should be for us.

My point was and is, constant repetition and lack of fact checking make what could be a excellent teaching almost useless.

While your point that a new listener would not mind the repetition is true, the asinine "facts" such as microwaves changing H2O into something other than H2O will hurt Scott's ability to garner new listeners.

As for my flaming Scott, until it was renamed, this forum was for the discussion of Scott Johnson's audios.

Discussion equals opinion, I gave my opinion and I stand by it. I hope Scott will improve his teachings but they seem to be degrading, not improving.

Pasture Mike Hoggard is the best, and the only "Church Leader" I listen to. A good example of his discretion is when he pointed out how conspiracy theorist types use the so called "project blue beam" as a catch all for all these abilities the powers that be supposedly have. Pasture Mike pointed out how "blue beam" is based on the testimony of only one person so the question becomes, do you trust the testimony of only one witness? Of course Scot implicitly believes in blue beam.

Chuck Missler is the most intelligent "teacher" I have listened to, but I have not listened to him in ages. He was slandered by Scot (who said he taught false doctrine, an example of which was never given, and also said he was a nwo agent JUST because he is involved with big business and the government) and dismissed out of hand by people on this website. His teachings against evolution using the "irreducible complexity" argument is by far the most devastating attack I have ever seen against evolution. His teaching against evolution seems to be irrefutable.

Wow, what a colossal waste of time that teaching was.

The new information could have been related inside of one hour, instead there was almost ten hours with 90% of it being old news repeated over and over and over again. I have listened to Scott for a few years now and I know how much he normally likes to repeat himself, but this so called teaching was beyond belief.

Another thing, if  the man would get a little better grip on reality he teachings would be so much more worthwhile, if this is going to be his new standard I am going to have to stop listening. Especially unbelievable was his statement that microwave ovens change water. How ridicules, water is just hydrogen and oxygen, what exactly does it change into?

I also cannot believe how he hates on nuclear energy, obviously he has never bothered to check the radiation released by coal fired electrical generation. There is a reason why workers at a coal plant are required to wear radiation badges and it is not mere decoration.

He is unfortunately becoming child-like in his attitudes. He reads some load of tripe on the internet and then includes it in his teachings without finding out whether or not it is true.

I have searched for the post using the usual words. This site is not very big, when you search for illuminati, occult, confession, ect. you only get a few hits. It is nowhere to be found. Evidently it was deleted.

When I first came to this website I read part of a very long thread that was supposed to be a copy of a thread from another forum. It was about the nwo agenda and was kind of like a notification for the uninitiated
by this nwo insider.

If anyone can post a like to the thread I would be most appreciative.

Thanks

London wakes up to aftermath of worst riots in years

Sadly, the sheeple will never wake up, in London or anywhere else.

If the sheeple woke up the nwo would not be able to gain power, and

as everyone on this sight knows, one world government is written in the

Bible and is going to happen.
22  General Category / General News / Christian commentators? on: August 09, 2011, 01:22:34 pm
What Christian commentators are there other than Dr. Johnson that are fitting to listen to?

Scot's one time a week post is not enough for me, I need more. They need to be audio or video,

I can not read while I work, but I can listen.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have a like to the flags of London or Rome that have 3 crowns or 3 dragons on them?

I found the flag of dc with 3 stars, but was unable to find the other 2 with either the crowns or dragons.

I was surprised to see Zola Levitt on that list. I listened to him for years... I stopped when he died. but every now and then I'd check out something on his archives...  He had some fascinating articles on creation.

The enemy is fighting an all out war upon the church and how careful we must be.

Much to my own amazement , I have been listening to Dr Johnson and Pastor Mike Hoggard exclusively for the past 5-6 month. I still check out J R Church and Gary Stearman...Prophecy in the news, I enjoy the daily updates.  They weren't on the list that I saw.  Any input on them? Not trying to put down , but rather asking for help discerning, I believe they use King James only.

I always really liked Zola and I would not hesitate to listen to his audios more. I did not check out what the problem supposedly was with Zola, so maybe he did have issues, but going by the history of this website I doubt it.

The "tempest in a teacup" over Pasture Mike, I consider a non-issue, as my posts have shown. Mike does have a few issues, namely his lack of respect for the Greek and Hebrew Texts, and his belief that tithing is for gentiles. However, overall I think Pasture Mike is a good guy.

The fact that no one offered proof of Chuck Missler's anti-Christian ethic when I asked for something other than guilt by association and innuendo. Missler's teaching against evolution using his "irreducible complexity"
argument is by far the best anti-evolution teaching I have ever seen.

Finally, there is Hal Lindsay who I listen to every Monday. Some here think of him as satan, but no one has offered proof of anything other then "he has been married 4 times". That is a black mark against him as a Pasture of a Church,  but until I see errors in his Doctrine I am going to continue to watch his International Intelligence Briefing. I have the date written down of his "Hal on the hotseat" program where he says tithing is for the Jews under the old law only. When I say that program I knew he was not in it for the money.

I will have to check out Gary Stearman myself.

Well that was 12 minutes of my life wasted.

So, there is going to be an earthquake somewhere along the ring of fire.

These "the sky is falling" types need to lose their computers and get a life.

26  General Category / False Religions / Hal Lindsey? on: June 27, 2011, 12:45:40 pm
After noticing Hal Lindsey was not liked here I researched the archives to try to find out why. I did not find out anything other then his multiple marriages.

Are there other reasons he is not popular here?

Thanks in advance (again Smiley)

28  General Category / Audio Section, Scott Johnson, Bryan Denlinger, others... / Re: Question about Chuck Missler on: June 23, 2011, 08:39:36 am
So the answer to my question is no, there is no definitive proof Missler is not a Christian.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I listened to the first 30 minutes of the first audio, but since I had already listened to both audios right after they were released I did not want to listen to the entire thing a second time.

In the first 30 minutes what I noted was the following:

1. Missler has ties to big business, wow, what a crime. I have never understood why it is bad for a Christian to make money.

2. A satellite internet company is sharia compliant; once again, big deal, this probably just means they do not charge interest on debt owed them, which means they probably require the people they service to pre-pay. I have customers in the middle east, they use pre-paid credit cards. Most Americans do not know this because the average American (fortunately) does not deal with mohammadons.

3. It "looks evil" to rub shoulders with the people Missler associates with. Whatever.

4. There was some vague "heresy" accusations but not proof or examples.

5. A internet satellite company will help the UN educate 3rd-world people.

Now we have something, this is fact, but relating UN education to Missler trying to further the NWO is
reaching to say the least. Big business is about making money, period.

6. Printing or coining debt free money, this is a good thing, not a evil thing.

7. There were vague accusations of NWO contacts. I say ANY big business is going to have NWO contacts, it is the unfortunately the nature of the world today.

8. Missler served his country as a soldier. Once again, a good thing, not a bad thing. This point really irritates me. The government is evil, everyone here knows that, but the sheeple do not know that. Almost all of the people serving in the armed forces are just unwitting tools of evil.

9. Missler worked for Ford Motor Company. This does not even deserve a comment.

If I am missing something, please enlighten me.

I am just asking for fact, not innuendo and insinuation.

Thanks again.

Now I am going to listen to Hoggard's audios that has people upset.

29  General Category / Audio Section, Scott Johnson, Bryan Denlinger, others... / Question about Chuck Missler on: June 09, 2011, 10:01:36 am
I have listened to Scott's teaching on Missler, and other then complaining about how Missler has made a lot of money in the past as a businessman and had ties to other big business I did not hear anything to indicate the man is not a Christian.

I have also viewed the threads here and did not see anything other than some vague talk about the Council of National Policy. I researched the council online a little and did not find anything about it other then it is made up of people who have obviously made a few dollars in their life and who are working against liberalism.

So my question is this, is there a reason to suspect Chuck Missler is a supporter of the NWO or an
anti-Christian or is this all there is?

Thanks in advance.
